• Mauricio (10/5): - The only thing that was a bit of an issue is the lift/elevator: it's only big enough for one person with one not over-large suitcase, and it can be slow in arriving when called. If your room is on the 5th floor you're likely to need it!

Chambre et SDB très propres, petit déjeuner complet pour un tarif très raisonnable, 8€. Seul bémol, le défaut d'insonorisation au niveau des fenêtres
• Verified traveler (6/5): Unsatisfied - No refrigerator in the room. No refrigerator for share. No coffee pot, no coffee maker nor complimentary coffee in the morning. Too few plugs in the room and the room condition is not great. In a safe neighborhood with a subway station nearby but not in a good location for a tourist. Far from everything. Also the staff needs to communicate better.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - We just needed a room for the night and this served us perfectly well. Rooms were clean but very hot (couldn't adjust radiator), as was the water (not much variable between hot and cold so take care in the shower). Breakfast was plenty but breakfast room was a bit chaotic.
• Jennifer (4/5): Very basic - Very pleasant and very helpful staff but unfortunately the hotel is very dated and basic. Twin room very small so upgraded to have more room but beds still uncomfortable, shower over high bath and didn't work properly (kept going too hot or too cold and one in previous room kept changing to bath but no plug for bath). No power points in bathroom. Towels changed daily but bed linen not changed for the 5 days we spent in upgraded room. A small map of local sites (including the beautiful Pere Lachaise cemetery) and restaurants would be handy as we didn't find open and more variety until end of stay. Again the staff were very pleasant and helpful at hotel and little local wine bar and patisserie but unfortunately the hotel needs some work.

O café da manhã vale o preço. Localização excelente, próximo ao metrô, a restaurantes e a mercados. O elevador é pequeno, mas atende bem. Com certeza me hospedaria neste hotel novamente. Custo beneficio muito bom.
• Gisele (10/5): Ótimo hotel - Um ótimo hotel, a recepção sempre aberta (uma regra que a chave do quarto sempre fica na recepção, você não pode sair com ela). O quarto confortável, dentro do esperado, o wifi funcionou corretamente. O elevador cabe apenas duas pessoas sem bagagem, o que pra gente não foi problema.! Bem abastecido com metrô, simples e fácil chegar e sair para outros locais da cidade. Pudemos deixar nossas malas após o checkout sem custos. O café da manhã é servido uma bandeja com algumas opções para você comer, contendo um croissant, nutella, doces, manteiga, pão, suco, café, o básico para já iniciar o dia bem!

• Wendy (8/5): - I chose this hotel because it was close to the Gustav Klimt exhibit, and it did not disappoint! Very friendly and helpful staff - helped us print out our flight boarding passes, gave directions for the Metro. Room was small, bed was tiny, but the room was clean and comfortable for our 3-night stay. We walked and used the Metro to get around town. A continental breakfast was served each day, included in the price (baguette, croissant, cheese spread, Nutella, jelly, butter, yogurt, OJ, and coffee/hot chocolate/tea). The headboard in our room (#504) needs to be reupholstered; it was torn off. The hotel elevator is tiny; it barely fit two people, likely would not fit a wheelchair. When we had our small carryon luggage, we stacked one on the other in order to make it fit. I held my purse over my head it make it fit. The elevator broke when we were in it one time and stopped about 3 feet too soon, between floors, so we climbed out after the woman from reception opened it for us. She knew just what to do, thankfully!! We had a good stay, and thank the hotel staff for everything!
• Rachel (8/5): Decent enough - The room was clean and the staff were friendly (and spoke English). It was pretty basic. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable and it was made up for colder temperatures, but the windows opened fully to let in the breeze (and the shouts and cigarette smoke from people nearby/on the street). Excellent location for me but others might prefer something more central. My only issue was with the shower cubicle - it isn't fat-friendly. I had to squeeze in sideways and scraped both sides along the shower doors every time; I can see this being a problem for anyone bigger than me. NB - They don't allow food in the rooms so don't plan any nights to stay in and get delivery.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Einfaches preisügnstiges Cityhotel in guter Lage - Relativ preisgünstiges Hotel (für Pariser Verhältnisse) in zentraler Citylage, Metro schnell erreichbar. Zustand der Zimmer ist einfach, aber akzeptabel für einen Kurztrip, wenn man über einige Abnutzungen im Bad hinwegschaut. Frühstück wird lieblos vorportioniert in einem wenig gemütlichen Raum auf einem Tablett serviert.
• Lynne (6/5): Budget hotel to rest your head - The staff at the Belfort are so accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble. The overall state of the hotel can only be described as shabby, though when an issue in the room was commented on, it was rectified promptly. If a place to lay your head is all you need, this hotel is adequate but you won't want a room on the street side as it is very noisy at night and early morning.

Une plongée dans les années 80 à coup sûr : Hôtel vieillot avec literie hors d'âge (on sent bien les ressorts !!!). Seul le prix est de 2018 : 90€ la nuit. Huisseries fatiguées, Environnement calme mais insonorisation d'époque (inexistante) Chambre et communs très propres. Accueil du matin très sympa et petit déjeuner bien.

• m2 (6/5): - The staff are outstanding and incredibly helpful. The location is very good. However, the Hotel needs renovation - the wallpaper is peeling, the room needed repainting, the pillows are horrible (pieces of foam (literally) in a sham cover), the bed is horrible (lumpy and uncomfortable), the toilet leaked, the temperature in the shower was very uneven (it ran from too hot to too cold, regardless of the settings), and the bathroom sink was slow draining. The WiFi was overall good. The elevator is easily one of the smallest elevators I have ever been in, however, it did make getting our bags up and down the stairs much easier. On our last day there, we were given a free breakfast, it was ok. Luckily, the other days, we simply walked down the main street (Rue de Voltaire), and had many, many options for cofee, breakfast, and bakeries. It's near both Metro and bus stops. Would we stay there again? No. But that's because we, most likely, will never visit Paris, again.

Man konnte von den knusprigen Croissants und Baguettes nachbekommen! Gute Lage, Bus und Metro weniger als 5 Minuten entfernt, auch Supermarkt und Bäcker lagen auf dem Weg. • Gavin (8/5): Look no further for budget accommodation in the 11 - This was the third budget hotel we stayed at in Paris and I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality. The rooms were clean, the appointments modern, the bathroom beautiful, and the service was extraordinary. I will absolutely stay here again while in Paris - 4 star service for a 2-star price.
• Sarah (8/5): Nice little hotel - The Hotel was dated but for one night, we couldnt complain! Its a few minutes from the Metro but near a noisy road so early morning traffic is pretty noisy! Breakfast was very french, baguette and croissant! The staff were very friendly. :)

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel on a budget - Had a very pleasant stay in Paris, Hotel De Belfort was located a short distance for the metro and not far from most of the big attractions, walking distance if you are able which was definitely worth it. Hotel staff were lovely and helped us with any needs we had. The bed and shower though left alot to be desired, the shower was so small I basically had to get out to bend down and get shower gel (i am 6ft 6). Not the worst thing but certainly a hindrance. The bed was so hard me and my partner continually woke up with sore backs, but once we were up they soon went. Better sound proofing of the rooms would be recommended as well. However, for what was a budget stay in paris, it did the job just fine.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Great location but we won't stay next time... - We liked the service of the hotel. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. The location was great. Not in the middle of popular touristic place but access to these places is very good. Nice restaurants and cafes are around the hotel. Hotel room is small which I and my husband didn't mind much but if you like quiet room, probably this hotel is not for you... You would hear a lot of noise and voices in other rooms. No fan in a bathroom which I'd appreciate if there was. No washing facility. Wireless internet can be very slow or no connection sometimes. I'd say the hotel is very nice but since the noise and wireless internet ( it was very important for us... ) were not satisfying, unfortunately we won't stay this hotel again. But if you were ok about these points, I would recommend this hotel!

• CJ (6/5): Hotel Belfort Location Ideal - The hotel was less than a 5 min. walk to the metro. The WIFI worked really well and it was clean. The staff was excellent. And several restaurants to choose from around the area. My son and stayed there for 2 weeks and we got around fine. I would stay there again. The rooms and beds are really small but then again that is part of the experience of going abroad. Since we didn't spend much time in the room, it was the ideal situation for us because it was located in a residential area which was part of the experience we wanted. It was great!

Food and drink prices much cheaper than in central Paris and it was nice to get away from the crowds when we went back to the hotel in the evening. Take the train from Charles de Gaule to Gare du Nord then take the Metro to Voltaire Metro station;you pay for one Metro ticket and change lines but it is easy to negotiate and the service is regular and quick the hotel is a few minutes walk from the Metro stop. Don't take the bus from the airport as it cost twice as much as the train and you get stuck in traffic.
