It has the best location in Tofo — you wake up and you’re right on the beach. It could easily offer higher quality and be the most sought-after accommodation in the area, but it’s not making the most of its conditions and services. Embora os colaboradores sejam simpáticos, o atendimento não é excepcional. Qualquer pedido ao restaurante demora e a comida, à excepção do pequeno almoço, não era fantástica... O quarto não estava em boas condições de conservação e a limpeza era francamente má. Tivemos lençois sujos e baratas no quarto... Foi o ponto mais decepcionante. --- Although the staff are friendly, the service is not exceptional. Any request at the restaurant takes a long time, and the food — except for breakfast — wasn’t great. The room was not in good condition, and the cleanliness was frankly poor. We had dirty sheets and cockroaches in the room… That was the most disappointing part.

- Riva (1/5): Not recomended - It's on the beach My room was broken into and robbed on the second day, and the hotel refused to take responsibility. Street vendors sit on the beach right outside the room entrance. The room is next to the restaurant and especially the kitchen, so you can hear noise and people talking from 6:00 AM until 9:30 PM. At lunchtime and dinnertime, the room smells of fried food, and when you leave, all your clothes smell of it. The beach lights are on all night, and you have to keep the curtains closed to sleep. There were cockroaches in the bathroom, and the security measures are minimal: handmade blinds and doors that you have to lock with a padlock, etc., etc. It was nothing like what I expected. The restaurant isn't bad, but I wouldn't recommend it either. The location is good, though.

- Donna (8/5): Lovely hotel, perfect location, but our specific room wasn't quite at the level of others. - Perfect location - meters from the beach and a bit away from the centre of beachfront which made it slightly quieter during the huge crowds that descend on the beach for New Year. Restaurant on beach is amazing - excellent meals. Once at hotel you can walk everywhere with ease. We booked a room for 3, but don't think it was of the same quality as the other rooms at the hotel. Our room was right next to the bar / reception and while it was communicated as having a 'sea view' - what wasn't mentioned is that it overlooks the restaurant first, with the sea behind it. Because of where the room was situated, it was also very dark (a long thin room) with little natural ventilation, so a bit stuffy. The bathroom was tiny for 3 people. But we made the best of it and the benefit was best access to wifi (based at restaurant) and also quickest access to beach. We would definitely choose this hotel above all others when visiting Tofo again - BUT would make sure we get a better room. It wasn't a room you really wanted to spend time in.

- Florence (10/5): Beautiful stay by the beach - This place is so beautiful, just by the beach. The food is so good and fresh too and make some really good mocktails. The staff is incredibly helpful and sweet. Olinda was really nice, I wanted to get my braids done and she arranged for someone. I would say one of the best stays I had in Mozambique. There is nothing not to like about, everything was perfect.

People come to the sea to eat seafood and I had to buy prawns outside and gave it to your chef to cook with an extra charge A swimming pool on the beach will make a big difference

The location is superb. the beach just in front of it. You pay price for the location, not for your stay. Price must be reduced to half for the room was offered.

Being right in front of the beach is a dream come true, waking up to the sound of the waves and having that very good, direct view of the ocean is something we won't forget. It's the perfect spot for anyone who wants to be as close to the sand and sea as possible. The room, while tiny, was impeccably clean and well-maintained. It's something to be aware of if you need a lot of space. Starting the day with their breakfast was another highlight. It was consistently good and provided a great start before heading out to explore Tofo. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Casa da Praia. If you're looking for a clean place with a good breakfast and a truly unbeatable beachfront view, this is the perfect choice. We would happily recommend it to fellow beach lovers. One thing to note is that our room was located close to the restaurant, and at times, the smell from the kitchen could be felt inside. Nevertheless, we booked the room knowing its proximity to the kitchen, so this did not come as a surprise.

- Stuart (10/5): Amazing location if budget allows - You cannot beat this location in Tofo. It is literally on the beach, just amazing to be able to walk out of your room onto the sand. Loved it It is a little bit expensive for what it is, but the beach right outside the room made up for that.

They also went all out for our honeymoon with sparkles & bougainvillea petals which was a nice touch. The staff were also really friendy and accommodating. I'd definitely go back but would stay in a different room. It was right next to the restaurant and even though they did mention it was close to the kitchen. We did not know the entrance was right next to the restaurant and so felt a lack of privacy and they had a function there the first night so was quite noisy. Also, we felt for this reason and the room being fairly small, it was a little bit pricey in comparison to other places we later saw for the same value. Also the shower was low pressure.

- Herman (10/5): Perfect 2 week destination. Plenty activities, and Casa Na Praia is smack in the middle of it. - I booked here for my honeymoon. Every day was special, the included breakfast started every day perfect, the friendly staff, the fact you stay in front of the best swimming location in Tofo. The amazing tasing food, the cheff even prepaired a fish I caught right in front of my room. 10 out of 10. Would recommend staying here to anyone. They even arranged the taxi for me and my wife from the airport and back. Aircon rooms, wifi comfy beach chairs for sipping a cocktail and watching the people enjoy the beach. I only have good memories of this place, cant wait to go again. That I am not there today

- Mayara (10/5): Amazing place! - Perfect stay! The hotel is right in the beach, the staff was amazing, breakfast super good, and room comfortable and clean everyday (even though the high amount of sand). Really perfect relaxing stay
- Monica (10/5): Great, but service should improve - The location is outstanding and the taste of the room deco is really nice Breakfast is good but service is sooooo slow. They do not prepare anything in advance and one has to count around 1 hour minimum to get served
- Jonathan (10/5): Paradise with a view - Superb location on the beach! Very helpful staff, fantastic view. A real taste of paradise! Water pressure in the shower.
- Raquel (8/5): nice place to stay for a couple of days, if a bit overpriced. - nice location, good views, massage right in front of the room bathroom offers no privacy. no electricity for almost half a day once, no water one evening to early morning. the restaurant service is slow.
