• YvetteH17 (10/5): Home away from home! - Wij hebben echt een heerlijke vakantie gehad bij Wanapa. Het is een fantastische locatie met mooie, ruime kamers met een fijn bed. Het zwembad is heerlijk om bij te chillen. Het ontbijt was iedere ochtend weer smullen geblazen. We hebben 1 keer 's avonds in het restaurant gegeten en dat was ook echt een feestje. Alle staff is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Dit alles maakt dat wij bij Wanapa echt het 'home away from home' gevoel hadden. Wij komen zeker terug!!! Niets
• FRANCESCO (9/5): - Hotel bello e molto ben posizionato soprattutto per una persona come me che tutti i giorni frequentava il centro di windsurf ; infatti la struttura si trova molto bene posizionata esattamente a merta' strada tra il centro città e la spiaggia dove si fa l attività di windsurf . Personale molto cordiale e simpatico e disponibile ad ogni richiesta - bella la piscina e della dimensione giusta anche per fare qualche bracciata a nuoto . Ci vorrebbe qualche zona d ombra in piu attorno alla piscina ; infatti in molte ore specialmente alla mattinata ci si ritrova scoperti dall ombra sui lettini sotto il sole battente - il fatto che la colazione sia tutti i giorni diversa mi ha penalizzato un po vistoche non sempre mi sono piaciute le pietanze offerte ; ci sarebbe dovuto essere a parer mio anche un minimo di buffet per completare l opera

• Claudia (10/5): Genieten! - Prachtig en ruim opgezet. Niks, je hebt wel een auto nodig maar dat is sowieso op Bonaire
• Yvonne (8/5): Rustig en gunstig gelegen hotel - Rustig gelegen hotel, gunstig gelegen t.o.v. zowel Kralendijk als Sorobon. Je hebt wel eigen vervoer nodig. We hebben een scooter gehuurd en dat is wel uitkijken met de niet overal even goede wegen. Het personeel is vriendelijk en denkt mee. De kamer is prima en ik heb heerlijk 'gehangmatteerd' op ons terrasje. We hebben geen gebruikgemaakt van de mogelijkheden om bij het hotel te ontbijten en/of te dineren. Aardig wat vogels, waaronder kolibries. Andere hotels hebben gratis vervoer naar en van het vliegveld, maar daar is hier niet voor gekozen omdat veel gasten maar kort blijven.

Prachtige ligging, rust, en het fantastische restaurant wat Wanapa te bieden heeft met fine dining werkelijk top! Een mooi groot zwembad en niet te vergeten het iedere dag weer het vers en zelfgemaakte ontbijt en iedere keer net even anders. Zeker erbij boeken. Niets alles was top!
• Kimmich (10/5): Quit reading the endless reviews and pouring over pictures and just book it... This is the one. - This Oasis was the perfect distance from the bustling streets and busy shorelines. We enjoyed how personal it felt, like we were long missed friends. Wanapa offered upscale simplicity from their process. They warmly greeted us as we walked in and showed us to our room. There was no paperwork and usual sterility of business transactions. Our room was spotless and complimentary cold beverages awaited us in the refrigerator. They have an entire cabinet of gear, a library of books, and a washing machine that the community shares. I felt that these folks would find a way to deliver on anything we needed. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we come to the island in the future. You just have to experience this place yourself as the limitless gems are best sampled personally. Their exclusive restaurant was quiet and smelled amazing. We will reserve dinner spots next time. Their gaining popularity left them fully booked. There was nothing I didn't like about this scene🥰

Also the property is lovely I wish the beds were a bit more comfortable. I like to sleep in the middle of the bed when I’m alone and the mattress is two doubles put together. I kept sinking in the middle.

O hotel tem uma estrutura fantástica, que realmente surpreende pela qualidade e pelos detalhes. E o café da manhã… que experiência! Super recheado e servido de forma individual, achei o máximo! O atendimento foi impecável, sempre gentis e dispostos a ajudar. Fica um pouco longe do centrinho, não tem restaurantes por perto a não ser o restaurante do próprio hotel mas se você estiver de carro não será um problema, são apenas 10 minutos até o centro.

• Jaimee (10/5): Very private feeling with luxorious amenities - It’s very romantic and we appreciated that it’s adults only. It was perfect for our anniversary. Breakfast was included and creative. The staff is friendly and helpful, in particular the lovely gal (Madeline?? I think) who checked us in. They upgraded us to an upper floor with a balcony which had a lovely view over the pool. The AC kept the room nice and cold, and they provide a welcome drink and nespresso in room, with unlimited coffee and tea in the lobby, along with an honor bar. The bed was a king that was really two twin mattresses joined together. Frustrating in a “romantic” hotel as someone ends up sprawling the canyon. Of course-if you’re a light sleeper who doesn’t want to be disturbed by your partner, this would be perfect. The mattress itself was comfortable.

• Mirna (10/5): - I had an awesome solo trip to this hotel. The staff is really nice, the breakfast every day was superb and I loved how quiet it was.
• Dilber (10/5): Geweldig verblijf voor een goede prijs! - Prachtig en sfeervol gebouw op een rustige locatie. Goed onderhouden. Caribische stijl. Leuk en modern ingerichte kamer. Ruimtelijke kamer en badkamer en alles is mooie schoon. Goede faciliteiten zoals goede airco, warme douche, leuke binnenplaats om te relaxen. Hangmatten lagen heerlijk. Een koffiestation waar je de hele dag gratis lekkere koffie en thee kunt zetten. Zwembad is fijn en de bedden op het deck zijn heerlijk. Het was een ge wel dig verblijf. En Melanie van de receptie zorgt ervoor dat je met alles geholpen wordt, en doet net dat beetje extra voor een extra fijn verblijf. Wij komen zeker terug! Ik zou aanraden om een wasrekje/lijn beschikbaar te maken. En een dikkere deken ipv een laken.

This place is the yardstick for ‘an excellent breakfast’ in hotel reviews - fresh, changing daily and often unique offerings. The restaurant is fantastic nudging against Michelin quality. The rooms are comfortable but simple, whilst the large pool is a magnet on hot days. If you can tell the three tall blond Dutch ladies who work there apart you are doing better than I did, but Fenna the owner runs a great hotel with an exceptionally strong team around her. The check in or arrival times policy re added costs could be more flexible given some of the flight arrival times into Bonaire

Fenna, the owner and her crew are exceptionally warm and helpful. A beautiful garden with palm trees, flowers and lovely swimming pool were remarkably inviting and relaxing. All together it was an excellent experience and service and we were very happy that we chose this accommodation.

• Karen (9/5): Welcoming boutique hotel - Nice boutique style hotel with a charming atmosphere and helpful staff. It is about 10 -12 minutes from town so a car would be recommended if staying there. The pool and surrounding deck area were very relaxing to hang out in. We had dinner there on Italian night and also had a few breakfasts as well. The food was excellent! Highly recommend! The location is a bit on the windy side but there is nothing the hotel can do about that. The wind however does make the location a little more refreshing especially on really hot days.

• Christoffer (10/5): Oh heaven is a place om earth ☀️ - All the way from placing the bokning, arranging check-in matching our late arriving flight, recommendation on rental car and logistics and this all before the visit even. The stay itself is completely magical having hummingbirds next to the pool, homemade breakfast each morning, amazing dinners, clean and fresh areas everywhere, a service level rocketing through the roof and recommendations to all the sweet spots of Bonaire 🙏 But the best of it all is in the small stuff with arranging with some late snacks on arrival, helping with the bags from check in, genuinely helps out and having the best coffee on the island! 10/10 recommend staying here and with a car (which you need wherever you live here) it’s super convenient as well!

• Tine28 (10/5): Absolutely recommended! - Very friendly staff and owners, always kind and happy to help you. The pool area is great, amazing pool with comfortable chairs. Very good food, both breakfast as diner. You can take a coffee during the day, use snorkeling gear, there are books and magazines to read, ... everything is foreseen. We can only recommend this place. Nothing, but a small suggestion would be to put an extra parasol at the pool area for more shade.
• Churmer (10/5): Relaxing getaway in nature - Quietly located outside of town. Very clean. The host is very lovely and helpful. Very warm and welcoming, flexible and attentive. From the moment we arrived we felt a wave of relaxation. The staff took great care of us. The fine dining courses are very delicious and the pizzas on Italian night are very fresh and tasty. The atmosphere also creates a relaxed vibe amongst other guests as well. You can interact with each other or keep it very private. That we had to leave so soon
• Lynn (10/5): - Wanapa Boutique Resort was well appointed, and beautifully decorated. There was a peaceful and homey feel to the property, and at the same time it has a very sophisticated vibe. It is obvious that everything related to this property has the owners' personal touch, and care for their property is very apparent. The accommodation was spacious and AC and WiFi were working excellent. The on site dining was close to perfect, from the personalized breakfast to the Italian dinner, and the 4 course meal. Staff were super friendly and dedicated, nothing felt forced. A gem of a place, excellent for a long weekend getaway or longer stay. I definitely hope to return.

• Communications (8/5): Very good - Beautiful quiet and natural setting, no sounds of traffic, only of birds. Delicious and plentiful breakfast served on the patio. Super friendly and helpful staff. Magnesium pool was terrific. Plenty space for parking. Quick drive to Lac, Sorobon, and to town. Small things such as a napkin with breakfast, a box of tissues in the room would make it even better.
• Aneta (10/5): What a wonderful stay! - Everything!! I loved the hotel, it’s beautifully designed, cozy, quaint,m. You can really unwind and relax. The rooms are modern yet stylish with island appropriate decor. Beds are very comfortable, AC works very well, the pool and pool area is really nice, all quality decor, furnishings, and everything was impeccably clean. I absolutely loved the premises. And then the food! One of the owners is a chef and on certain days offers dinner (it’s a 4 or 5 course menu) and it’s absolutely fantastic (it’s a fine dining experience). And then breakfast prepared by the breakfast chef. Everything is fresh and homemade. Last but not least all the staff is so kind and welcoming. If I’m ever back in Bonaire I will definitely stay there again. Thank you! Nothing really but just a note it’s a bit outside of town and you definitely need a car (not really walkable to anything) but Kralendijk is just a few minutes away by car (5-10 minutes) so it’s very easy.

This is not just a place to stay; it's a sanctuary where you can relax, unwind, and recharge in the most delightful way. The road to the hotel is a bit bumpy and we broke a tire getting to it
• Antonia (9/5): A heavenly stay - we didn’t want to leave. - A beautiful, quiet, breezy (no mozzies) property in the perfect location between Sorobon, dive sites and Kralendijk. The gardens are young but already beautiful and the pool is heavenly. Loved the iguanas, lizards and hummingbirds. And being located at the end of the runway, it was awesome standing on the rooftop bar terrace watching the planes take off. Only a couple a day and not at unsociable hours so definitely a spectacle rather than a disturbance. And the food, well, it is just amazing. Fenna and Melvin are the perfect hosts. Well done guys! Slightly noisy dog next door who liked to have barking competitions with the donkeys! Actually was quite funny rather than annoying. We were in the studio with its own outdoor kitchen. Could have done with a couple of extra utensils/essentials such as tongs for the BBQ and maybe a dish cloth and some anti bacterial spray - other than that everything was amazing.
• Diana (10/5): Just Perfect! 🌵☀️🌴 - Everything about staying at Wanapa was wonderful. My husband and I loved it there. We are staying at a bigger beachfront resort for the 2nd part of our vacation and Wanapa while not on the beach was so much better I wish we had booked it for our entire stay on Bonaire! The building and grounds at Wanapa are beautiful. A photographers dream of cactus, yellow walls, tile roofs, flowers, hummingbirds and lizards. The setting is quiet and peaceful but a close drive to town. There’s a beautiful breeze blowing all the time keeping you comfortable. Fenna and Melvin are just the nicest couple as well as interesting and such attentive hosts. Melvin is an amazing chef. Fenna helped arrange our car rental before our arrival and was always easy to reach with questions. We loved everything.

• Daniel (10/5): A pleasure and highly recommended - We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay (7 days) in the hotel. The staff was perfect, friendly, welcoming and always open for a quick chat. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and feature a small fridge, cups and glasses. Plates and cutlery is available upon request. The pool is a gem and we enjoyed it a lot. Great view from the rooftop terrace. The surroundings are very quiet, still it takes only 7-8 min by car to get to the city center, which is a perfect mix of proximity and remoteness. Very nice bathroom, overall very clean and well managed hotel. We enjoyed the 4-course menu of Melvin once - should have planned for a second time - because it was delicious, beautifully presented and just a highlight of our culinary trip. There is free coffee and tea available all day long. Especially well-suited for musicians given that there are at least 4 pianos in the hotel. The hotel manager took us with her car to the airport, an awesome service we would not have expected. Thank you very much for the great time. Bring mosquito repellent - there are very few but smart mosquitoes

• Roger (10/5): Fantastic holidays - I really enjoyed my stay in wanapa boutique hotel. Fena and her husband run this family business with so much care and attention to guests. The facilities are amazing and not far from any other location in the island. Breakfast was delicious and complete. I totally recommend this hotel in an island which is a piece of paradise .

• Horst (10/5): wonderful experience - we spent one week in april at Wanapa hotel, windsurfing during the day on lac bay. our stay at Wanapa had been a wonderful experience. we had a very large rooms with beautiful decoration, very good air-conditioning, and a bathroom equipped with top-flight armatures. the hotel consists of a recently remodeled former music school. the staff was exceptionally friendly, approachable and helpful, way beyond the call of duty. breakfasts were amazing in quality and quantity and dinners (on request) were culinary events --- all these at rather modest prices. the owner (melvin) is an accomplished chef, who had offered and then cooked at one evening a superb 5 course dinner for his guests. the hotel is located about half-way between the main town of kalendijk and lac bay. it is about 10 min by car in each direction on a reasonably paved, low-traffic road. the quality of the hotel and the friendliness of the personnel is well worth the short car rides.
• Robert (10/5): Wonderful, would go back. A little gem for us. - Very friendly, low key, Rivka was a wonderful host. Chefs Melvin and Roy provided wonderful meals at breakfast and dinner always fresh and thoughtful, 5 stars. The pool, patios, hammocks and outside seating provide space to relax after activities around the island. It was an easy 10 minute drive to our main activity, windsurfing at Jibe City. The location is away from the main town and cruise ship mobs, but everything seems just 10 to 15 minutes away in Bonaire if you have a car. Everything met our expectations.
