The property did NOT have a balcony, was not near the colosseum. Furniture was cheap and old and the shower didn't work properly (over head not working). The place was clean. I felt a bit uneasy after reading some mixed reviews post-booking—but I needn’t have worried. The experience was flawless from start to finish. The apartment was immaculate, ideally located to the Arena and hosted by genuinely kind and helpful staff. We arrived earlier than expected, and to our delight, the accommodation was already prepared for us. That small gesture set the tone for the rest of our visit, it allowed us to leave our luggage and explore the city. Truly Verona staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and welcoming. It’s rare to find a place that combines charm, cleanliness, and hospitality so effortlessly. When we return to Verona. Truly Verona will be our first choice. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a stress-free and comfortable stay in this beautiful city.

- Quamquam (10/5): Perfect apartment from which to explore the perfect Italian city - We booked the Leo 1 apartment for 3 nights direct with Truly Verona. We had tickts to see Nabucco - which was fabulous and very impressive - and had chosen this for 2 reasons: 1) it had a balcony which overlooked the arena and 2) because it was only paces from Piazza Bra and the Arena and in easy walking distance of ll the major attractions. We found the staff friendly and helpful, the apartment was well equipped with all modern appliances including excellent aircon throughout and it was clean. It made the perfect place rom which to explore the city, it had bars, cafes, restaurants in touching distance and well, it had Verona at its feet, an archetypal Italian Renaissance city with immense charm. Importantly, we always felt safe to wander wherever we wanted and we found heart-warming friendliness from the local shopkeepers and citizens. Highly recommended.

The staff really professional, they got an issue with the room (can happen) and invited us to have an happy hour to a restaurant close by waiting to get the room ready! Thank you really appreciated. If I really need to find something that can be adjusted…next time you give a late checkout as a courtesy, please specify the time so we don’t incur in any issues.

It is located very close to the bus that goes to the train station and not far from the city center. The apartment is spacious and has plenty of light. It is situated in a quiet street. The day we left, it was raining, and we were offered an umbrella so we would not get wet on our departure. It was all details.

The room was comfortable, although there were a couple of minor maintenance issues (e.g., a broken shower door). Despite that, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. My only concern is the lift of the apartment was not fixed on our last day when we used the stairs to bring down our luggage’s and my mom who has difficulty going up and down the stairs but if you don’t have a lot of luggage’s and a must to have lift for transport then this place is perfect to stay. If the lift was fixed I will rate is place for 5/5.

I even bought her a bottle of wine to say thank you when we left. Andrei was also a lovely man and helped me open a bottle of wine when I was struggling. - m_nodira (2/5): Ruined honeymoon! - I cannot express how disappointed we were with our stay in Verona. My husband and I were on our honeymoon for just two days, and this apartment completely ruined the experience. The moment we arrived and turned on the air conditioning, the room filled with an awful smell—like urine. Yes, you read that right. The smell spread throughout the entire room, and it was unbearable. We couldn’t believe we had to deal with this on our honeymoon. To make matters worse, the apartment was located right above a Cuban bar. We had no peace whatsoever, with music blaring until 3 a.m.! It felt like we were inside the bar, and it’s beyond ridiculous to think anyone would want to sleep above a nightclub on their honeymoon—or ever! The staff tried to be helpful and offered to move us the next day, but who wants to spend their holiday packing and moving? We didn’t come to Verona for a hustle; we came for a romantic getaway. We wasted the first two hours of our holiday arguing with the staff, only to be told we should have "requested a quiet area." Excuse me, but isn’t it obvious that no one would willingly stay above a noisy club? We’re fine with the typical noise of people walking, some music, etc., but this was like living in the middle of a party we didn’t sign up for. When we asked for some sort of compensation for the horrible experience, they flat-out rejected us. They claimed they couldn’t smell anything, despite one of the staff members clearly acknowledging the smell when she first came to our room. But when we asked for compensation, they suddenly acted like we were imagining it and treated us as if we were idiots. To make matters worse, we asked multiple times for a link to leave a review, and they completely ignored our messages. To top it off, when we finally got ready to sleep, I found someone else’s hair in the sink. Absolutely disgusting. The apartment was far from cosy, and the whole experience was a disaster. Usually, I’m not the type to leave reviews, but this experience made me really angry. I would never recommend this place. If you’re looking for a relaxing or romantic stay, avoid this apartment at all costs!

Only found salt and pepper in the cupboard. Bed was too firm for my preference. Bathroom was fine though the shower is tiny - hard to move around without hitting the control. Wifi was a bit weak in the bedroom. Lots of closet space. A little disappointing that the “patio” was not on the street but outside the unit inside a gated courtyard. Staff was very helpful. Happy with our stay though it did seem a bit pricey to me.

- Rita (10/5): - Truly Verona is a beautiful, modern and clean apartment located in a perfect spot in Verona. It’s a 5-10 minutes walk from the arena and the main piazza where you catch the Hop On/Hop off bus, close to restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend! My only complaint is that the they supply very little essentials ( paper towels, toilet paper and coffee) and that we were not explained where to take the garbage out ( located outside the building and a few buildings away…inconvenient)

- Brigid (8/5): - It was within an easy walking distance to the arena and we felt safe walking home late at night after the opera.
- Catherine (10/5): - Excellent place to stay .i had requested one bedroom with 2 beds but when we arrived both beds were pushed together as one bed .I contacted Truly Verona and within 10 minutes 2 staff arrived with new bedding and separated bed into 2 singles. Excellent service.
