Guest Reviews
- Sally (8/5): - Location is very good, safe, clean, nice welcome by the owner, it could've been better with a little kitchenette
- Cyrine (2/5): N’Y ALLEZ PAS C’EST HORRIBLE - HÔTEL QUI NEST PAS VRAIMENT UN HÔTEL DEGUEULASSE LA CHAMBRE PUAIT IL Y AVAIT DE LA POUSSIÈRE PARTOUT DE LA MOISISSURE SUR LE MUR LES DRAPS N’AVAIENT PAS ÉTÉ LAVÉS JE VOUS LE DÉCONSEILLE À 100% HÔTELS.COM N’A ÉTÉ DAUCUNE AIDE POUR ANNULER LA RÉSERVATION MALGRÉ LES PHOTOS MENSONGERES
- Belen (2/5): - The facilities so poor, no respect the privacy from the others guest, was many clues to resolved to go in. If you have very short budget stay 1 night and done. The ubication was good for travellers
Achei absurdo cobrar pelo check-in.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved the location as was within walking distance of everything, just took a bit of working out when i arrived as to how to get in
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Great location to train. Not so safe location. Similar price locations a block up and safer.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very obliging. We could store our luggage after checkout.
very centrally situated.
praise achievement well.
A door inscription in the stairwell would be helpful.
O único problema eh a recepção.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - OK for a 1 night stay only but not recommended for any longer than that. Very close to Roma Termini. Clean room and decent bed. However the air conditioning was not working properly. It would go from blowing cold air then back to blowing hot air. The room was actually just as hot as outside. There is no reception on site as it's just like a 4-bedroom apartment. There is a refrigerator in the "common area" which is basically the hallway. There is no microwave. We were given a whatsapp # to contact since host is not around, and when I asked a simple question on whatsapp, I saw that they read the message but ignored to respond. So after you check in, you will have zero contact with the host/manager/anyone even if you have problems. You can try to catch them if they're checking in other people though. Btw it's not a hotel and has no signage. It's inside an apartment building and you have to buzz to get in. You also have to schedule a check in time so the host/manager can meet you. Goodluck.
- Jenna (6/5): Ei vastannut odotuksia - Ilmastointilaite ei toiminut, tuuletin vähän auttoi kuumuuteen. Ikkunaa ei voinut pitää yöllä auki, koska tie kulki vieressä ja hälytysajoneuvot kulki siinä usein. Suihku oli likainen, mutta lämmintä vettä sai.
- Morten (4/5): Beskidt!!!
- Melody (6/5): - This guesthouse is great if you are looking for somewhere to stay on a budget! The location is extremely convenient if you are traveling through the train station. It is about a 7 minute walk to the train station. The location is; however, extremely far from the majority of the sites in Rome. The Trevi fountain was the closest and was still about a 25 minute walk. The guesthouse is more like a hostel than a hotel. There are shared rooms and restrooms. Overall, this spot did the job for me considering I spent the majority of my time out and about and only used it to sleep at night. The wifi was extremely fast which was a plus!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Affittacamere così così, zona piuttosto sporca e desolata, camera in condizioni appena sufficienti in contesto abitativo tendente al degrado, personale comunque disponibile e gentile
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good, normal place - Location good, near trainstation. Room was okey and clean. The people helpful and kind.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The service is good! Location is good, very close to the metro station! Only thing is there’s no hot water for the shower, and even hey have in the next day, the water is very weak...
- Sigurd (8/5): No complaints - Had a nice stay here. Clean rooms, smooth check in. They had a selection of free coffee and tea which was nice, and the woman gave us umbrellas since it was raining. Good price. Close to termini and metro.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Zentral gelegen
Sehr gut erreichbar
Leider etwas hellhörig
- Verified traveler (6/5): very noisy ! photos tricky ! - watchout when you choose your room because the good pictures are only for a special room. The place is close to a very noisy road (italian drivers...). The railway is very close (good point) but it is far from the touristics places. It was clean and the separate bathroom is a plus.
We don't recommend the ecomic room !
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for cheap, clean and functional accommodation. Close to termini station and all amenities like shops, restaurants, etc.
- Iulia (10/5): Good for this price - Good for this price
- Stephen (2/5): checked in just book something else - Please please do not stay here.
- Diana (6/5): Very central but not enjoyable - Stayed here for 3 nighst - perfect because it is steps from the station and made travel so much easier. Just a couple minutes away from Termini. The room itself is okey, quite spacious. Neighbourhood however is not ideal for a nice vacation. Extremely loud street, to the point where opening the window is not possible. It was really hot without the aircon on but when you turn it on it is extremely loud; you would be having trouble falling asleep with it on!
The reception is not 24 hours and you need to make an appointment to check in. Finding the hotel itself was another story... It is next to impossible to find it as it is located inside the residential block of apartments. There are 2 lifts and we took the wrong one, finding ourselves looking for the place for nearly 20 minutes!
Room has a separate 'private' bathroom but we found it very inconvenient. My mistake as i misunderstood that the bathroom is indicated clearly to be outside the room. Its at the end of the corridor. However, it definitely is NOT private. Every time we went there in the morning we found it being used by somebody and left dirty, without toilet paper and so on...The toilet seat was broken when we arrived but repaired relatively quick.
- Hanif (8/5): A great value hotel - The manager was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room was much larger than we expected and was very clean. Great value considering it's so close to the train station!
- Phil (8/5): Convienient location to central rome & termini - Very clean room, quiet, safe with separate bathroom [ external ]. Very pleasant host.
- Elaine (8/5): Small place very close to the train station - This little place is excellent value but I did misunderstand what a B and B means. I will be clear and say it's a room with no breakfast facilities. There are plenty of nice cafes/bars a few streets away (check out Panella near the theater to the west). The room is very clean and has everything you need for a stay, TV, hairdryer, a small safe for your passport and iPad. You can arrange to leave luggage for a few hours before departure if you need. I stayed in February but it looked to have air conditioning. The staff are great and helpful but they only come to clean the rooms and greet you on arrival so remember to make that appointment by email. :-)
- James E (6/5): Place to crash near Roma Termi - I used Meltin for a stop over to catch the train to FCO in early am. This guest house is an easy walk to the train station. First off, you have to know what a B&B or Guest house is. It is not a motel or hotel, it is more like a pension. You get a small room, and your bath is down the hall and shared. They may have in room baths, but I came in late and may have gotten the last room. Meltin requires that you inform them of your arrival time, and they are not kidding. We got there at 4pm, emailed them at 11:45am of the 4pm arrival time. They were very thoughtful by posting a note on the door addressed to me personally, on how to contact the manager so he could come over and let us in. I give them an A+ for service. The room and facilities were clean and quiet. Price was right, location was right and we got a good sleep. Not many places to eat around there, but across the street on the left you will see two restaurants. The young man (manager) was awesome. Very good English and very thorough on explaining the details on using the facility. My room had Air, Wi-Fi and safe.
- Jakub (8/5): Nice stay - Nice room, nice stuff, room is large and clean. Entrance to the building is not so great but ok. It was nice that there is possibility to leave suitcase after you check out and still have access to the building and pick it up.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Value for money - Hotel was very close to the station and Metro and an excellent location for getting about. We were greeted and checked in by a very friendly gent who explained everything to us. The hotel room was very clean and looked good.
The rubbish collection at 1:25 am was not so good! The noise from the street was not so good! The noise in the building was not so good! A good nights sleep was not had but if you don't mind the noise and are more of a night owl then this hotel was ok. Make sure you check out the location on Google Street view before you go. If you aren't sure of the location then this is very easy to miss.
- Jace (8/5): Clean room in convenient location - Everything was great, the manager was very accommodating and very kind. The room was nice and big and very clean. The only downside was that the private bathroom was separate from our room, but other than that it was one of the better hotels we stayed at on our 2 month Europe trip.
- ashley (8/5): Good stay - Wonderful service! Very kind and profressional. The first night i stayed in a room that had its own internal bathroom. The second night i stayed in a room separate from the bathroom. So i had to walk down a short hallway to get to it, which isn't a big deal, it's just not what you're used to. Clean room, flat pillows, good hospitality. I think if you're looking for a place to stay that's walking distance from the bus stop and from the colloseum, this would be your best bet.
- Estella (10/5): Great location for Rome and beyond - Great hotel, great location. Loved the old building and super close to Termini Station, the main train station.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Basic Hotel - You get what you pay for. Clean, neat hotel. Area can be a little shady at night but great during the day. It is in a locked condominium building with a locked area for the rooms and a lock for a single room. Website said it accepted credit, but when we went to pay all 3 cards were "not working" even though they worked all through Europe. Had to pay cash. Overall, I would stay here again if I was on a budget.
- Joey (8/5): Convenience to Termini - We just stayed here our last night since it was so close to Termini Station, allowing a quick get-away to the airport the next morning. Very easy to locate. The staff was excellent.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Close to train station, not much more - This hotel room is actually a bedroom w/bathroom in an old building in a not so great area. It is close to the train station, and they have nice big bath sheet towels. Other than that, nothing much to write about. The guy who runs it is nice but is not on premises other than when you have an appointment to get your room.
- PedroPardo (10/5): comfy and convenient - Stylish rooms close to Termini and a short walk from some main attractions in Rome, but also convenient for good bus and train links. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned each day. Would recommend to anyone on a short break on a budget
- Tony (4/5): Tiny and not worth the money - Room was about the size of a small prison cell (and with the same atmosphere), bed was hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom was a mile away. No facilities to make a cup of tea or coffee, no kitchen, no breakfast, no refrigerator Only thing going for it was that it was close to Termini station and we could make a quick getaway. To be avoided there are much nicer places at comprable price.
- Katie (8/5): Solid good value option for a short stay - Good service, met at the location even though the time of arrival we gave was quite vague. Quite spacious room with everything we needed. Bathroom was private but not en suite which was fine for a short stay. Easy access from station and buses and close enough to walk to town.
- Julia (8/5): Nice, cean room close to main train terminal - The staff was welcoming and friendly, the room itself was clean, however, the building and neighborhood were very old and a bit dirty & dark at night.
