- markrU1795FY (8/5): Excellent except for street noise audible - The apartments associated with the hotel are located a couple hundred meters away on Calle Santa Maria la Blanca on the edge of Barrio Santa Cruz. The apartments are lovely, spacious and well equipped, with two bedrooms and baths, a full kitchen, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Two bakeries and numerous restaurants within a few paces. The only downside is that there is quite a bit of nightlife street noise audible in the master bedroom, almost as if the windows were wide open. This was puzzling to us, but we coped with it by wearing earplugs to bed. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

It is stunning, peaceful and every little detail is perfect. The interior courtyard is breathtaking and breakfast there is lovely. Each evening they have live guitar music and drinks in the courtyard. The rooms are fantastic and large. The staff is incredibly friendly. We adored our stay and will be back! We especially enjoyed the amazing service from: Anas and Noureddine. They were to kind and helpful!

- Bugra (4/5): Disappointing - - Location was quite central - Courtyard was nice - I’m sharing this experience to help anyone else who might be trying to decide on a hotel in Seville. - We stayed in the duplex double room (room 11), and while the pictures made it look quite nice, the reality was a letdown. The room is extremely small; it’s advertised as 15 m², but I highly doubt that’s accurate, as we barely had enough space to fit two suitcases. It was also very dark, and because the window faces a corridor, the privacy is poor. - The room's interior leaves a lot to be desired. The furniture and bathroom both look dated, right down to the old-style toilet seat without a soft-close. On top of that, the windows have zero sound insulation, meaning the noise from the courtyard wakes you up early every morning. - Finally, the value for the price is extremely low compared to other places in Seville, especially since breakfast isn't even included when booking on this website. Paying more than 900 euros for three nights in a dark, tiny, and noisy room was incredibly disappointing. We can't help but feel this place is overhyped, and I hope this review helps you make a better choice for your trip!

- W1163FOmarks (10/5): Fantastic Hotel - The hotel has everything you need to have a great stay. This a boutique hotel with a family feel to it. We had a warm welcome from Felippe who was brilliant. We started our stay by having a glass of wine in the very picturesque courtyard. The rooms are large and very clean. The hotel has a rooftop and we spent many an evening watching the sunset whilst having drinks. This hotel is located very close to the Cathedral and other attractions whilst being situated up an alleyway which means it’s very quiet. I would recommend booking a taxi to the airport through reception as the driver will meet you at the reception desk - note cars cannot drive to the hotel.

The rooms are calming and comfortable and the central courtyard is stunning. It would be lovely to have breakfast out there in the warmer weather, although we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the breakfast room. The best croissants ever! Rocio gave us a lovely welcome and was so friendly and helpful during our stay. We would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Staff were welcoming and helpful at all times. Rooms are big, beds comfy and it’s a lovely environment to relax. Great location 5-8 minutes from old centre and Cathedral The hotel is fabulous. - Prue (10/5): A charming small hotel! Fabulous location and delightful staff! - The hotel is visually very charming and our room and bathroom were a very comfortable size for 2 people with luggage! The location was very convenient to the beautiful Cathedral, Mosque and Alcazar as well as charming tapas bars and neighbourhood restaurants. The staff at the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful! The breakfast too, was delicious and the service so attentive. There was nothing we didn’t like about Hotel Casa del Poeta!

Bathroom was on the small side with the shower over the bath. This could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues.

- Sarah (10/5): Gorgeous, charming, beautifully run hotel. - The hotel was absolutely charming, in the middle of old town. It had an open courtyard in the middle of the hotel, which was beautiful. We were welcomed with a drink and quickly escorted to our room. The room was spacious as was the bathroom. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back. It was a little difficult to find, but once we found it, we had no issue!
- Charles-Harold (10/5): Un séjour absolument parfait. - L’emplacement de l’hôtel est tout simplement irréprochable : en plein cœur de Séville, tout se fait à pied, et pourtant on a le sentiment d’être dans un havre de paix dès que l’on franchit la porte. Dès notre arrivée, l’accueil a été exceptionnel. Le personnel a été aux petits soins, d’une grande gentillesse et toujours attentif au moindre détail. Nous avions un niveau d’espagnol… disons très limité 😊 et ils ont pris le temps de s’adapter, en nous parlant en anglais et en français avec beaucoup de bienveillance. On se sent réellement attendu, écouté et accompagné tout au long du séjour. Un lieu que je recommande sans la moindre hésitation. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

- Ann (8/5): Lovely stay in Seville, the hotel was perfect for a short break. - The hotel was in a fantastic location perfect for walking around the tourist sights, the Cathedral was magnificent. The car parking arrangement was great, and the staff were fabulous. The room and bathroom were very clean with plenty of coffee, water and bathroom toiletries and lovely towels. The room was facing the inner courtyard with a curtain, unfortunately there was no direct light into the room.

Absolutely STUNNING: The entrance makes you feel as if you’re walking into a magical oasis. To be greeted with smiles , a drink in the background of a Spaniard paradise. - F3065XSmiap (10/5): Hidden Gem - Amazing location. Tucked away -quiet oasis in city. A hidden gem. Close to historical sites, and steps away to great restaurants and shops. Rooms had comfortable beds, clean and serene. Doors to the outside allowed us to be close to nature and lulled to sleep with the sound of rain. Staff was attentive to our needs. Greeted us immediately. She was so friendly and welcoming (wish we remembered her name- she was interning) when we entered and provided recommendations to restaurants and places to visit and complimentary drinks/ snacks. Walked us to our room. Breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of choices for dietary needs. Again staff was attentive and welcoming. Most helpful was when our travel plans were cancelled. Rocio , the staff, went above and beyond. She assisted with navigating the cancellations and re-booking for different mode of transpiration. She was so patient and kind with each obstacle we faced - she assisted. We left before breakfast and she comforted our spirits by providing us with snacks for our travel. We provide the highest recommendation and will stay in same place if we return to the beautiful city of Sevilla .

- XSj2 (2/5): Unreasonable hotel management - Absolutely do not recommend this hotel!!! Our trip to Seville was cancelled due to the terrible train derailment/collision on January 18 (which made international news), and all trains in southern Spain are currently grounded for 2 weeks. There was no possible way for us to get there - we checked bus, plane, rental car, taxi, and private transport. The hotel has refused to refund any portion of our unused stay, nor give us a credit for a future stay, stating that they are “a small hotel and this would be a loss”. AmEx reached out to them on our behalf, and they gave the same response. We are now pursuing an insurance claim through AmEx, but the astounding lack of reasonability from hotel management in the case of these exceptional circumstances that are completely outside of our control does not align with our expectations for reasonable human behavior, much less the level of service and hospitality one would expect from a 4 star hotel. In contrast, we were shown great generosity and hospitality from two other hotels in Madrid (Room Mate Alba) and Granada (Hospes Palacio de los Patos), both of which we would highly recommend. Our extreme disappointment in the way this hotel management handled our situation in the setting of a devastating national disaster is why we want to warn anyone else from giving them money. Be very cautious and do not expect ANY level of understanding from them if a major event disrupts your travel plans!

- Amelie (9/5): Lovely hotel with excellent staff in a great location. - We arrived to a very friendly welcome - the staff could not have been more helpful and we were very grateful for all the excellent tips and advice Agustina gave us. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was great. The hotel is also in a great location, with plenty to see, eat and drink a few minutes walk away. The bathroom in our room was a little cramped and could probably do with an update - although the towels were excellent and we appreciated the magnifying mirror and extra toiletries.

The bathroom amenities were exceptional. the Molton Brown shampoo was so good that I now use it at home as well! Fresh fruit was provided upon arrival, adding a lovely personal touch. Every detail, from cleanliness to comfort, was impeccable. This hotel combines charm, luxury, and attentive service, making it a perfect choice for a relaxing and memorable stay.
