• mounim (9/5): Bisogna imparare a contestare sul posto quando qualcosa non va. - La posizione, la pulizia della camera e l' albergo in generale. È meglio evitare la mezza pensione. I primi 4 giorni ci hanno trattato malissimo a cena, ci hanno servito avanzi di colazione e cibo riscaldato. Ma dopo che abbiamo contestato il trattamento alla direzione, hanno subito cambiato il servizio e per gli ultimi 9 giorni è andata molto bene.

The internet was very poor, the shower drain was not working well and the shower flooded as soon as you start running water. Swimming pool did not have a changing room.

• María (8/5): - El hotel esta en una ubicación excelente, junto a la Torre Gálata, el acceso a los puentes y el metro, tiene cerca numerosos cafés, restaurantes y tiendas. La atencion es muy buena, las habitaciones cómodas y todo esta muy límpio. En realidad me gustó todo, solo puedo criticar pequeñas cosas sin importancia, por ejemplo pequeños detalles de mantenimiento, cosas quizá un poco demasiado viejas, o inevitables, como el que la calle sea bastante ruidosa, y se oiga algo de ruido, incluso con las ventanas cerradas, lo mismo con el desayuno, era bueno, pero la sala era grande y un poco ruidosa.

• Ahmad (2/5): TOTALMENTE DECEPCIONANTE - 1- O que realmente valia a pena era o café da manhã. Porém, como o cardápio não mudava, a partir do segundo dia já se tornava enjoativo. 2- A localização do hotel. 1. O ar-condicionado estava quebrado. Reclamei na recepção e me disseram que havia um problema geral, que uma equipe estava verificando os equipamentos, mas nada foi resolvido. Pedi para trocar de quarto e negaram sob a mesma justificativa. 2. O frigobar simplesmente não funcionava — estava mais para um forno do que para refrigerador. Eu estava com uma criança e precisava manter o leite gelado para minha filha, mas não foi possível. Ao reclamar, a recepcionista sugeriu que eu utilizasse a geladeira do bar do hotel. Na primeira noite aceitaram guardar os itens, mas na segunda, ao tentar novamente, o atendente — se não me engano chamado “Hassan Bey” — foi extremamente grosseiro e disse, com essas palavras: “É proibido usar a geladeira do bar, deixamos aquele dia como uma forma de remédio para resolver o problema.” Como assim? O problema do frigobar continuava e nada foi feito para resolver. 3. Um detalhe surreal: o hotel praticamente não tinha funcionários que falassem inglês. A atendente noturna só falava turco e francês. Para um hotel que recebe turistas do mundo inteiro, isso é inaceitável. 4. Foi, sem dúvida, a pior estadia da minha viagem de 24 dias pela Europa. O mais decepcionante é que já havia me hospedado no Grand Halic Hotel em 2018 e a experiência tinha sido excelente, o que me motivou a retornar. Porém, desta vez, tanto no meu quarto quanto no dos meus sogros os problemas foram os mesmos: nada funcionava direito. 5. Minha recomendação é clara: fiquem longe do Grand Halic Hotel. Se estiver pensando em se hospedar aqui, fuja e escolha outro hotel — mesmo que custe um pouco mais, valerá a pena evitar tanta dor de cabeça.

• Hassan (3/5): Nicht zu empfehlen. Braucht dringend Renovierung. - die Lage ist schön in der Nähe von der Haltestelle Sishane wo viele Busse und Ubahn fahren. Ich war mit meiner Familie 2 Kinder und 2 Erwachsener für 4 Nächte im Hotel. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer 301 war nicht gut die Wände sind alt gestrichen. Die Klimaanlage macht Geräusche die ganze Zeit und kann man nicht die Flügel Richtung ändern deshalb bin ich von der ersten Nacht krank geworden. Das Frühstück war auch nicht so begeistert und für Omelet Eier muss man Extra 2€ zahlen obwohl das ganze Frühstück inklusive Übernachtung war. Im Pool waren wir nur einmal für 15 Minuten dann sind wir rausgegangen das Wasser war nicht sauber da sind Stückchen und Haare drin. Es gibt im Pool nicht mal ein Platz um die Sachen wie Badetuch und Kleidung hinzulegen. Es sind insgesamt vielleicht 4 Hacken an die Wände für alle, die im Pool sind. Das Personal ist in Ordnung aber sie dürfen auch lächeln da werde ich als Kunde nicht sauer wenn einmal lächeln. Kleidung Bügeln ist gegen Gebühr und nicht kostenlos. Insgesamt wurde ich das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen und empfehle der Besitzer vielleicht für 2 Monaten das Hotel zu schließen und komplett zu renovieren.

Le seul point positif : l’emplacement. ⭐ Emplacement : ★★★★☆ (4/5) – Excellent, proche des principales attractions d’Istanbul. ⭐ Petit-déjeuner : ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) – Très faible et sans variété. Aucun fruit, aucun dessert, aucun plat chaud. Juste des olives, du fromage, du pain, du lait, du thé, du café, des tomates et des concombres. Bien en dessous d’un 4 étoiles. ⭐ Propreté : ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) – Draps changés chaque jour, mais sol jamais nettoyé. Impossible de marcher pieds nus. ⭐ Réception : ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) – Complètement non professionnelle. Pas d’aide pour les bagages, pas de sourire, aucune écoute des plaintes. ⭐ Chambre : ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) – Chambre payée avec supplément (vue et trois lits) non respectée. Reçue avec un seul grand lit, sans changement après réclamation. ⭐ Personnel : ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) – La plupart peu aimables et peu professionnels, sauf M. • Mona (4/5): - This is not a 4* hotel, not by European standards anyway. The room is dated with cracked walls, dirt accumulated in the corners and decor still in place from the 70s. They do not provide complementary bottles of water or anything in the room. They were rude to us when we asked as we thought housekeeping had forgotten to do it. Breakfast is limited and mostly cooked dinner food, not a continental buffet in sight. Reception do not provide any information on check in except to provide brochures on tours to be purchased. The hotel is on a busy dual carriage way, making it noisy. Views are good if you're facing the road so have to put up with the noise. The upside is, it is within 5 minute walking distance of Galata tower. Check outbwas straightforward but the concierge didn't take our bags out to the car when we declined their offer to go with a taxi 'friend' of theirs. It was fine, nothing special, served a purpose but should be rated as 2* on Expedia for accuracy of what you're getting, rather than assumption that it is cheaper because it is further away from the key tourist sights.

The staff had a very unprofessional approach, they pressured me over and over to use their airport transit service. When I asked for an iron they asked to charge me extra. The swimming pool was only accessible from 14 to 21 and it wasn't always open on time so I had to go to the reception and ask them in person.

Ik denk omdat er in de onderverdieping een Spa was dat de damp daarvan de lobby heel warm maakte, en in combinatie met het warme weer is het heel warm in de lobby.

Eu pedi um quarto econômico, talvez quartos mais caros sejam melhores. A vista era para im prédio abandonado com muita sujeira. Pedimos uma cama de casal mas como somos 2 mulheres nos deram camas separadas, pelo clima de extrema direita do país resolvemos não pedir para mudar.

• Andrew (7/5): Overall a wonderful stay in Istanbul - the hotel is really well located, clean and great value . - The location is fantastic, and it has wonderful views. Unfortunately there were huge roadworks outside which were really noisy and dusty - not th ehotels fault of course! The bedrooms are a little tired in decor, but they clean them daily and clean them well. They could do with a refresh, but the price was really good so we were happy. The breakfast wasn't all that great but was fine. ALL the staff were lovely. The breakfast could be better, some fresh fruit would be nice and some more choices but it was fine. The coffee at breakfast wasn't good - the only good coffee is from a paid Costa machine in the lobby.

Schoonmaaksters waren ook erg aardig en lief en wel goed bed en kamer was schoon. Hotel zelf erg lelijk , het leek wel of alles door de zelfde schilder gedaan was en die was waarschijnlijk blind of had geen afplak tape meer. In de hotelkamer hing het behang ook los , geef de kamers een beetje liefde . Het zwembad beneden was ook door de zelfde schilder gedaan en in het omkleed hok hing een oude onderbroek en in de kast om je zwemspullen op te bergen zat onder de schimmel. Hotel heeft potentie maar helaas is het nog niet waar het moet zijn . Het ontbijt was droog en smakeloos , chef kok zou het zelf is moeten proeven ! En nogmaals personeel erg aardig en behulpzaam.

• Tini (3/5): - Das Frühstück war reichhaltig mit viel Auswahl und die Lage und Blick sehr gut. Das erste Zimmer, in dem ich war, war der absolute Horror!! Alt, dreckig, kein wlan. Zum Glück konnte ich nach 1 Nacht wechseln, da war es deutlich besser, aber das ganze Hotel samt Ausstattung und Sauberkeit entspricht in keinster Weise europäischem 4 Sterne Standard, eher 2 Sterne, das sollte man wissen.

• Murtada (6/5): - The location The breakfast The air condition The cleanness The condition of the room I had to ask every day for toilet paper because they don't fill up with toilet and bath stuff unless you ask. Hair dryer broken No bathrobe unless you ask ( it is in the description) Not even once during my 5 days stay, they cleaned the table in the room.

• Заида (4/5): - Ничего только в фойе красиво, Мини бар только 1 раз на несколько дней , на завтраке очень шумно в основном персонал с тележкой ходить туда сюда и спокойно не позавтракаешь, народа очень много и шумно из за акустики еще большая слышимость, выбора особо нету, в бассейне не были однако сказали что бассейне вода холодная
• Kamal (7/5): Très bon qualité prix - Hôtel très bien situé en plein quartier GALATA, avec un très bon rapport qualité prix. La piscine intérieure serai un plus lors de la période hivernale. Les horaires de la piscine (14h - 21h) ne sont pas adaptés aux touristes

• Minko (7/5): La estancia era muy buena a pesar de los inconvenientes! - La ubicación es muy buena. Las habitaciones ordenadas y limpias. El desayuno era excelente ! El agua en la piscina estaba fría. Una de las habitaciones el primer día tenía olor de tabaco y los papeles de la pared estaban despegados.

• Hicham (1/5): Une catastrophe sur tout les plans - L’emplacement géographique Les équipements de cet hôtel datent de 1980. L'entretien est inexistant, le lit est inconfortable, et le réfrigérateur de la chambre est hors service avec une porte cassée. De plus, il n'y a pas d'eau chaude dans la douche. Globalement, c'est une catastrophe. Il y a d'autres hôtels à proximité qui sont bien meilleurs.

• Hassan (1/5): I strongly recommend finding another hotel in Istanbul. - The only positive aspect of this hotel was its location. I have stayed at many hotels in Istanbul, but this one was by far the worst. The service was extremely poor, and the staff were unhelpful. You definitely do not feel welcome here. The room smelled of smoke, the air conditioning was terrible, and the rooms were very old. This hotel does not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel. It is at best a 2-star in my opinion. The only positive aspect of this hotel was its location. It's disappointing to see such low standards in a city known for its hospitality. I strongly advise against staying here and recommend finding another hotel in Istanbul that values its guests.
