• 真弓 (10/5): - 30号室を利用しました。ちょっと古めですが、清潔で、シャワーの出もよく、エアコンもよくききました。シャンプーやハブラシセット、ドライヤーもありました。スタッフはとてもフレンドリーでした。立地もすごくいいです。また利用したいです。
• Shirley (10/5): Good - Reasonable priced, friendly staff. A little old, but great location for food an Icon Mall.
• Gregory (10/5): - Great location directly across from Icon Bali with access to the Beachwalk. Room was large enough to accommodate all our luggage. Pool area was pretty, surrounded by statues and plants/flowers. Breakfast was a serve yourself mini buffet, which was pleasant. Area was clean, all staff were very helpful. Bed was comfortable and even the pillows were, we travel with our own and didn’t even use them as the ones provided were so nice. Great areas to dry your beach towels and bathing suits. Each room had a nice sitting area outside the main door.
• Nathalie (10/5): - Stannade bara en natt för att vi skulle vidare till Lembongan. Men hade gärna stannat längre! Perfekt läge i Sanur. En lugn, grön oas med mycket trevlig personal. Återvänder gärna!

Bed was very comfortable with white clean linen with bar fridge and coffee, tea facilities. Shower in bath a bit unsafe and might need support handle to prevent slipping
• Jens (6/5): - Det var noget faldefærdigt og poolen lå lige ved en sportsbar der var direkte åbent ind til, hvor der kørte 3 tv på fuld tryk hele dagen. Noget af området fra baren var der man spiste morgenmad, som man skulle være meget tidlig til, ellers var der ikke mere.
• Tuula (6/5): Bra och prisvärt - Bodde 2 v på hotellet. Lite spartansk, men helt ok, frukost. Trappor till andra våningen var branta. Trevlig personal.
• HELEN (8/5): Good location and good services - We like the convenience of the hotel. It's just across the street to Icon Bali Shopping Mall that gives easy access to the beach and many restaurants. The price of the hotel includes breakfast that was very yummy. The breakfasts are in Asian and Western styles which meet every taste. Every guest could have 2 eggs made to their liking. We really appreciate all the hotel staff who were so nice and work so hard to meet the needs of the guests. The only thing I don't like about is the bathroom. It's old and didn't have much counter to put things or even hang our towels. The AC was leaking the water into the cabinet next to the bathroom. We couldn't hang our clothes in the cabinet. Our next door neighbour smoked in the cover area outside their room. The hotel should have non-smoke sign near the hotel rooms. Smoking should be only in open area.

• Lynette (10/5): - A lovely quiet little place in great location with only a few minutes walk to the beach. The staff are very pleasant and caring. Breakfast is not smorgasbord but sufficient and there is always someone there to cook you eggs anyway you want. The pool is lovely but a bit warm…..I guess they can’t help that with the beautiful weather we had during our 8 day stay. Soon the massive Icon Complex will be completed and that is directly across the road so I’m sure that will be a very positive thing for Swastika Guesthouse guests.
• HEUIDOO (6/5): - 너무 오래된 집으로 창문이 없어서 답답해요.
• JUNICHI (4/5): - 立地条件がよくスタッフはとても話しやすいが、建物が古く部屋の天井にヒビが入っており、気がつくとベッドサイドのテーブルにひび割れた天井の粉が落ちて来る。 バスタオルやバスマットなどは言わないと新しい物に変えてもらえない

• Brian (6/5): Get what you pay for. - You get what you pay for. It was a good price. One thing that would be really nice is a place to hang the bath towel in the bathroom. No towel bar or hook or nothing. The air-conditioning unit didn't seem to work so well. Fairly quiet place and typical Balanese friendliness.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Friendly staff and cheap, but run-down and smells - Pros: genuinely kind staff, great value for money, Android TV. New restaurant was good (re-opened during our stay). Cons: bathroom smell was a showstopper (we couldn't change room, so moved to another hotel), constant noise from construction, pool had strong chemicals. WiFi was patchy.
• Thomas (10/5): - Ich bin immer wieder gerne hier weil es gepflegt und sauber ist und das Personal weltklasse. Alles balinesisches Hotel in guter Lage zu Strand, Hauptstraße und Nachtmarkt. Mir persönlich gefallen die Superior Zimmer im hinteren Bereich fast besser als die etwas moderneren Deluxe Zimmer im vorderen Bereich nahe zur Straße. Viele Grüße an Ketut, Coman und Kadek der immer gute Eier Gerichte beim Frühstück macht. Sogar Cerealien und Kuchen gibt es immer. Danke euch! Thomas

• Colin (10/5): - We enjoyed our six day stay. Great location, wonderful staff and enjoyed the pool. Would return in a heartbeat. Private outside balcony. Lots of restaurants nearby and not far to night markets.
• Hugo (8/5): - Handy location to beach and night markets. Great staff, friendly and there to help. Included breakfast was ok. Bad parts were massive building site across the road so alot of trucks and building noise. Also alot of lights shining into the rooms due to upper windows have no blinds or curtains. Overall, the bathrooms especially are run down and could do with an upgrade but they are clean. I would stay again.
• Andrew (10/5): - Next time we are in Sanur we will definitely consider the Swastika Guest House. It was pleasant and safe and the staff are all really nice and very helpful. Especially our cleaning lady, she was the best and very nice to us. The rooms are a little on the dated side but overall for the price it's nice. Clean place and close to all the dining and shopping and even the beach. Thanks for a great stay!

• Sally (2/5): - Was the worst hotel l have ever seen l was booked for 5 days l was concerned for my own safety electricity lines hanging down where you enter plaster all over walk way mould on all walls bedding was so dirty would not let a dog sleep on would not recommend animals to stay here let alone humans disgusting needs to be pulled down

The bathroom was lovely, the rooms old school wood which i appreciate, location very agreeable, and the bed and bedding high quality. I have stayed here before, about 8 years earlier, and the facilities have improved. This is a good hotel.
• Megan (8/5): - The staff were friendly, breakfast was mediocre. It is a little close to the street so if you are a light sleeper you may have a hard time. My boyfriend and I had no issue but our friend switched rooms due to being unable to sleep.

Pool lounges were never wiped down so we had to wipe them down ourselves to remove dirt and bird poo. The restaurant was very good and we ate there every night. Staff at guest house and restaurant were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - For the price it’s a place to lay your head but I found basic things like the shower heads full of lime scale so they don’t work and ripped towels and stained sheets were not ok even for a budget place to stay

• Naomi (8/5): Good value - Great value for money. Our room was at front so only negative was noise from road throughout the night. Room spotless, great size. Basic breakfast but adequate.
• david (4/5): - Disappointing. Really poor on many levels, except the staff who are fairly pleasant. Not geared up to accept Expedia reservations. Seemed to send the reception into meltdown and confusion on arrival. Rooms are dark, dingy very old. Toilet roll holder could have been from the 80's or earlier. The building probably wasn't a hotel then, meaning they added old finishings to a new hotel. Breakfast is really poor. Not many guests staying. Now i know why. Diluting orange juice, tinned breakfast sausasges, stale pastries. Really poor selection. On the basis they have a restaurant a few yards away offering a full service it should be much better. Even charging more for it. For the money, you can stay in much nicer places, get a better "free breakfast" for less. bathroom floor tiles are really dark and dirty. or they used a lighter grout around the edge of the room which I doubt. All in all, nice staff, a place to lie your head. Just very dirty, not worth the money regardless what you paid.
• scott (6/5): You get what you pay for - Good for a budget hotel. If you expect 5 star go elsewhere. Major disappointment was that in our rush to meet checkout time we left clothes/shoes in the wardrobe. Despite emailing that night both direct to hotel plus through the website ( to arrange couriering) we had no reply from the hotel. Little things like this is the reason for the above Staff rating.

• Cristina (10/5): Nice hotel close to the beach - I reserved the hotel 5 minutes before I showed up. They were extremely accommodating and gave me a beautiful room right away. The room was clean, smelled fresh, and had no problems whatsoever. The breakfast was good and unlimited. There were eggs, bacon, rice, bread, fruits, tea, and coffee. The facility is beautiful. My room was on top of a restaurant that played live music on some nights so I had to sleep with earplugs. The only inconvenience is that the traffic from the street can be heard from the room. Nevertheless, I loved this place so much that I extended my stay several times and even cancelled other hotel reservations because I was really happy with this place. Even though they had my room reserved for another person, when I decided to extend my stay, they accommodated me and left me in the same room. The beach is a 3 minute walk from the hotel and is really clean and calm. There are several good restaurants nearby as this hotel is on a very popular street in Sanur. It also a 5 minute walk from a market where you can get delicious and cheap local food. I also had several friends reserve a room at the last minute and the staff was extremely accommodating. The day of my departure, they kept my luggages locked in a room after I checked out, so that I may enjoy the beach the last day. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the service, cleanliness, service, and condition of the room and facilities. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

• david (8/5): Good basic place - nice people - Was in front room so there was a little street noise but the room was basic and just what i needed. Staff were all lovely. Brekkie was simple and delicious. Everything was basic and did the job. I didn't need anything flash so this place was perfect.
• Diane (10/5): Great value hotel in good location. - This was my second stay at this hotel, which should speak for itself. The room was spacious and comfortable, with fridge... all that's needed, and cleaned everyday. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. Fun to chat to also. I had a good look through all hotel sites, to see if there was anything even better, before booking this time, and still didn't see anything to be better value!!! The head waiter is John, who told me to mention his name if I ever write a review!!! LOL He's a good guy!!! Ketut is absolutely charming too... always made me feel special... so friendly and such a big smile every time I came in.

• Anne (10/5): Very reasonable guesthouse in Sanur - Everything we needed - excellent value, nice staff, clean & comfortable room with ac. Enjoyed cooked breakfast with options, plus fruit juices & hot drinks by lovely pool. We booked through online via TripAdvisor & they didn't have our booking which was unfortunate late at night. Also they tried to charge us more for 2 people, plus being a dulux room despite confirmation this was what we had paid for. Water went off, but despite these minor inconvenienced, we had a lovely time there. We moved to a non standard room that was away from the road & renovations next door, so it worked out well. Restaurant is lovely - best beef rendang.
