Gute Tipps für Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten haben wir auch bekommen. Das Zimmer war so wie beschrieben. Sehr zentral und alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Im November war es trotz Heizung etwas frisch im Appartement
John (10/5): Great Apartment - lovely one bedroom apartment . Very spacious and modern . Ours was overlooking a small courtyard so not at all noisy. A very well equipped apartment , good wifi . Jessica was there to meet us and there if we had any questions. Felt very safe and secure. Close to restaurants / bars and Porto nightlife. Would highly recommend B Places.

El baño en el centro sin espejo. El armario para la ropa lejos del dormitorio. Vistas a un muro. Almohada incomodisima. No tiene ascensor.

Verified traveler (10/5): - Wunderschönes, charmantes Apartment mit liebevoller Ausstattung, direkt im Herzen von Porto (wir hatten das Apartment im dritten OG, zur Straße). Man ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten am Douro und an weiteren schönen Aussichtspunkten und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Kommunikation und Check-In liefen sehr freundlich und problemlos ab. Wir kommen wieder!
Verified traveler (10/5): - If you want to stay in the heart of the action where the people are incredible and the prices are reasonable BPlaces is it. Inez and staff are the BEST. It’s a real neighborhood place with little groceries, bakeries, and drug stores tucked in among all the historic and fascinating sites of The city. It gives you a real flavor of life in Porto. After four nights and five days I did not want to leave.

The exposed historical brick wall ( which at night, you can turn a medieval orange light to shine on them) and the two large windows that open and you can see the whole lower left city and cathedral. Great location, just up the hill from the water / away from All the tourists but close enough to everything. All within walking distance. Would stay again!

Verified traveler (10/5): - Perfekt gelegen, sehr großzügig geschnitten und zur Begrüßung gab ein Glas Portwein. Der Wohnung war wohl ein Teil der historische Stadtmauer. Der Wohnung ist ein wenig dunkel aber wunderschön.
Michael (10/5): B. PLACES IS THE PLACE TO BE - Our experience was great. First off, Porto is a wonderful city. Our check in was perfect. Nuno who checked us in was extremely helpful and informative. We had been to Porto before but he gave us tips on places and things we might not have known ourselves. Having a couple of glasses of porto for us was also a very nice touch. The location is great and having a kitchen to make food is great in a city that has such good products at your disposal, especially if you go to the right markets. Also Nuno recommended the best place to purchase bottles of wine just down the street. Good price and quality. And dont miss out on the vihno verde. Obrigado Porto!
Paul (10/5): Oporta stay - Nice place to stay close to the river but far enough to avoid the worst of the crowds
Paul (8/5): Nice apartment, but street facing room is noisy - The apartment building is in a very good location, downhill you are close to a street with restaurants and shops, also not far to the river, uphill (yes its on a hill) you reach a square with more restaurants, tram lines and a museum. The hotel has a restaurant attached (on ground level), you go up 1 floor to the reception, our room (with 1 double bed) was on the 2nd floor facing the road. The room was pleasant, ok for a few days stay, but we had one issue, opposite the apartment is a bar that is open until 4am with plenty of noise outside, and the road itself is noisy (cobbled streets, cars etc.) which means closing the windows is a must to get any sleep, but also then you don't get the air and its a bit stuffy (no aircon in this room). One other thing, the bed is very hard, my wife found it very uncomfortable, I would have preferred a softer bed (but that is just preference). So the room really would benefit from fitted aircon and a medium mattress. If I were to stop again (and I would) I would book a room at the rear.
Steve (10/5): City break - Porto is a beautiful city and the apartment is in a great location very close to the river. The road can be a little noisy with traffic driving over the cobbles but it didn’t affect our stay.
Ale (10/5): Amazing place - The apartment was brilliant, comfortable and clean in the centre of porto. Outside the apartment there is a bar/wine bar and in the night the people make some noise but not to much. I Can raccomend it absolutely :)
Chea (8/5): Nice central apartment. - Stayed here for almost a week. A few minor hiccups but solved very quickly. Staff friendly and helpful. The apartment had all you needed and was situated centrally. There were several small restaurants nearby and a couple of small supermarkets. We were on the top floor which was fine as we are used to stairs at home. I would recommend these apartments and would stay again if we were returning. Hopefully the weather would be better.
Laurentiu (8/5): Oldies but goldies - An old house fully refurbished into several excellent apartments in old Porto. Street was narrow and noisy and the hotel lacked elevators. Also parking was available only in the neighbourhood. Still a great experience, enhanced by the receptionist who gave us all the information we needed to discover the city and its surroundings.
Anthony (10/5): Historic apartment in the heart of Porto - Ideally placed in the heart of old Porto. Well placed to visit all the sites, the river, restaurants, shops etc. This is a self catering style apartment in a historic 'tenement style' town house and indeed does make you feel like you are living with the locals (who are lovely!) You will have to carry your luggage up the stairs so bear this in mind if you think you will struggle - didn't bother us though! We would go back again if we returned to Porto.

Unfortunately the first floor facing the main road was much too loud for me and combining that with a tiny heater that did not adequately warm the room, I was unable to have a comfortable sleep at night. It's a shame since I chose this place based on the reviews of quiet and comfort.

niamh (10/5): B. Places Apartments - We had such a lovely time at B.Places Apartments. We availed of the airport transfer service which was really efficient. The apartment was spacious with a lovely big bed. The apartment included a kitchen and bathroom area. The apartments are right in the centre of the old town, so we spent lots of time walking and exploring the area. It is really close to the riverfront, and was lovely to sit near the water and have a drink in the evenings. Laura was the perfect host, so friendly and helpful with all our questions. We found it to be a great base to enjoy the amazing city of Porto
Matthew (2/5): Find somewhere else. - Wish we where told about construction (should have been told), would have stayed somewhere else. Construction is not going to end soon. Traveled 16 hours, not looking for resting our time away but never could get any rest, not even a short nap. First night construction was all day until midnight between what is happening next door and the restaurant below us. Next day starting at 07/07:30 until late.

Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was very comfortable and clean. Understand that you are staying on a very busy street in the city center therefore it is VERY noisy. The building is very old, which is characteristic of the area and perfectly fine, however the entrance/hall-way areas smelled very bad (mildew?).
John (6/5): Very Nice But with some conditions. - I had mixed feelings about the apartment I rented, hence the rating. Location was very good. It was larger than I thought it would be, fairly modern and had a comfortable bed. My apartment was on the third floor, so lots of stair climbing, which normally would be OK for me except Porto is very hilly, I didn't know that. After walking up and down hilly streets all day, three flights gets old fast. The shower was tiny and I'm 5'8". There were some ant problems, if you let food out, it would be covered with ants within hours. No Air Conditioning, just a fan. Finally the neighborhood rooster crowed every morning at 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM...What a joy.
Natalia (10/5): Amazing, spacious apartment - The one bedroom apartment we booked was perfect. It was very large, with a kitchenette, bedroom, large hallway and a living room. There was a small table outside on the balcony. There is no view, as it faces a tiny courtyard of the building, but we spent all day outside, so it didn't matter. The only thing that I was not a fan of - the shower is too small and there was no shelf in the cabin to leave the soap or any other toiletries. Otherwise, everything else was great: location is perfect, right in the center close to the river, the girl who met us gave us good tips about the city. There is no front desk, so you have to arrange time for your check in. They were also happy to store our luggage after check out, which was very appreciated!

Gavin (10/5): Fantastic service and a location to match - My family and I stayed in the B Place Apartments for a weekend getaway to Porto in October. Pedro offered tremendous service, helping us carry our bags up to our room, giving us details and maps of the local area, suggesting things to do, and even made sure we had a baby bed for our youngest daughter. We certainly plan to return due in large part to the service and great location of the apartment.
