Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The history of the house is provided. Beutiful house and grounds.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - they tacked on another $30 for what was called a Vermont room tax. We were not charged for this at the other 2 Inns we stayed during our trip. Overall room comfort, breakfast and facility were excellent.
- Ernie (10/5): Just Love This Place - Always feel welcomed from the minute I walk up the porch steps. This Inn just gets better and better.
Cool, clean and quiet room and comfortable bed. All pluses here!
- Joseph (10/5): - Charming old hotel. Inn keepers are wonderful. Very nice B&B
- matt (10/5): Was perfect! - Great place , we had a fantastic time ....close to good food and hiking and great location to read read read

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, tasteful, comfortable.
- James (10/5): Beautiful Inn - Large room, great bed, heated bathroom floor and the entire Inn was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Very comfortable kitchen with coffee and tea always available. One of the most comfortable places I have ever stayed.
- eugene (10/5): home away from home - The Inn has history, comfort and modern amenities, like home away from home. The owners and staff are great, they made us a to go bag on our last morning with homemade banana bread for the drive back to the airport. We will return, thanks!
- Nancy (10/5): A delightful stay in a small town in VT - This is a lovely B&B in a beautiful and historic town. The room was spacious and comfortable with luxury linens and amenities. Breakfast was copious and delicious with many homemade local jams and cheeses. The short walk through town takes one past historic clapboard houses and brick public buildings and a wonderful covered bridge. We had a delightful stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good place if your in the area - Great service by the 2 girls that set up dining reservations and put out breakfast in the morning. Great location for going to local spots such as the harpoon brewery and the station for dinner. Only complaint was the vent in the bathroom was gross and needed a good cleaning
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I only stayed overnight, but experienced a clean, well run B&B with an absolutely first-class breakfast. Would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in this area.
- A (8/5): Nice and clean B and B. - Great location and beautiful building. It's right down the road from an awesome restaurant called the Windsor station. Very clean and comfy rooms that had newer updates. The only part that can be done better is the breakfast.
- dennis (8/5): Spring in Vermont - Enjoyed the Amtrak ride from Ct to Vt although new England had not turned green just yet, the ride thru mass and new Hampshire
was very pleasant,
the hotel was built in 1836 everything was modernized the innkeeper was friendly and accommodating.
- Jennifer (10/5): Stunning and Stylish - The inn stands tall amid its sheepish surroundings and it is both well kept and welcoming. The staff was friendly and professional, and our room had a gorgeous claw-foot tub with luxurious amenities (including a shave kit). The location makes good use of country, complete with cross-country ski options in the back, as well as town, with a fantastic restaurant across the street. The breakfast buffet is superb, and the waffles are top-notch. Everything is well thought out and stylish. The only things I would change are: 1) grant a later check out time; 2) offer to make dinner reservations for guests at check in; 3) ensure Internet room selections match rooms received.
- Liz (10/5): Charming inn - Booked the Snapdragon Inn for a party I was invited to nearby. The property is so charming and well-kept! I had a room on the third floor with a heavenly bed and plenty of space. The breakfast was just what I needed before heading out for the day.
