Guest Reviews
- Lucia (10/5): -
- calvin (9/5): Good value with location and breakfast preventing it from being great (a 10!) - Clean, economical and friendly staff The road noise and limited parking. Also the sparse items for breakfast
- Skylar (10/5): -
- Herbert (8/5): - The cleanliness, the beds are comfortable, and good budget. The noise from the street but seemed to settle down after 2am
- Herbert (8/5): - The cleanliness, the comfort of the beds and pillows, and good budget vaule The street noise but settle down after 2am
- Hector (5/5): Bad - Clean , location and friendly staff Guests next door speaking loud and smoking marihuana every night until 2-3 AM
- Fern (5/5): -
- Loretta (9/5): -
- DAVID (8/5): - Comfortable and convenient No coffee pot in the room
- Chelsie (1/5): - The front desk staff lady was the rudest person and wasn't professional at all nor did she try to help our family instead they took double the money and basically said it's not her problem that I should take it up with booking.com
- Cynthia (8/5): Good value good location nice staff - Very nice and good location! Bit more variety on breakfast
- Batchelor (6/5): - Location was incredible The smoking area made us look like huddling bums. Hahaha
- Theresa (7/5): It was a nice place but not great. - The room was excellent. The son at the front desk was very accommodating and pleasant. The indoor pool's water was very cool in temp. I couldn't go into it. The room request was for a bottom floor since both I and my friend have problems climbing steps....she has a very bad knee and could no way walk up steps and I have a bad back and two hip replacements and would have much difficulty. They booked us into a second floor room with only steps access BUT he did rearrange things and put us on the first floor and in a handicapped accessible. The room was very nice BUT the TV didn't work as the person before us had removed some needed plugs but the son fixed it, the fridge didn't work but kept trying to kick on, and the parking was crowded. The breakfast was very disappointing with little to choose from.
- Phyllis (9/5): - It was a good size family room The staff didn't come in to empty trash, it piled up for 3 days
- Kelly (1/5): - Room was infested with spiders. I was told “That sometimes happens “. After the room was paid for, and I complained, I was told “ You can always leave”. No refunds or other room offered. I couldn’t afford another room at that point so I had to stay. The refrigerator leaked water and it was obvious that it wasn’t dusted or cleaned well.
- Anna (7/5): Fair to middling - would not choose again - Quaint though a little tired Sporadic toilet cistern emptying presumably due to a leaking valve.
Woman shouting x-rated abuse at someone near the property for maybe 15 minutes
- David (1/5): -
- Greg (8/5): Cool little family owned motel that has some charm and style. - Cool sculptures and water features. Great location. Staff is a bit distracted and not always present but it wasn’t a huge issue.
- Bertrand (10/5): -
- Daniel (10/5): -
- Brett (6/5): - Seemed to be in a not so good neighborhood!
- Sikder (10/5): -
- Roger (6/5): - This place is old and tired, with worn paintwork and a sense of disrepair. That said, the room was acceptable for the price, and the bed confortable - you just have to get used to looking at aged surroundings. I'm not sure if not bothering to service the room on a 2 night stay is normal - poor if it is. And the location is a bit out of town, especially if you don't have a car. Though the free if infrequent bus service provided by the city works. It is what it is
- Veronica DuranTrujillo (10/5): - This is always our go to when traveling to Albuquerque! We love it!
- Tina (8/5): My stay - Price and the beds were very comfortable The floors were dirty. Seemed like they are mopping with dirty water

- calvin (9/5): Great value and clean with drag racing at night! - Nice and clean, friendly staff and great value. Road noise! Drag strip at night and early morning motorcycles and vehicles racing with NO mufflers!
- rulan (10/5): - It's ok The rooms nice but bathroom door needs fixing, wouldn't close good. It's nice but the road noise and gun shots we didn't like
- Lubkemann (7/5): -

- Serna (9/5): N/A - Clean Deposit

- Isls (5/5): Overall it was about even . - I liked the mirrors and the lamps. The way the windows were.. I enjoyed the spaciousness. And the hot tub with juccuzzi jets . Relaxing .. The counters weren't wiped down the bed wasn't wiped. down The sheets smelt like smoke so bad that we didn't even sleep on the blankets we brought our own and we still smelt like cigarette smoke. All my clothes I had took smelt like cigarette smoke.. and they say they have a no smoking policy!? But we dealt with. I sanitize every hotel we sleep at but this one need a little more work.. and to top it off the floors were dirty. If I didn't have a problem with cigarettes, or my own sheets I wouldnt have been a happy customer. But onr
- Jill (6/5): -
- Eric (10/5): pleasant - The staff was amazingly friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
- Gary (8/5): - Excellent Staff
- Wiktoria (7/5): - The room and bathroom were really nice and clean, beds were comfortable. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful and I enjoyed closed distance to the city from the hotel Tv was super old and grainy, couldn’t watch anything.
Breakfast was okey, but not much too choose from and everything was sugary
- Sabrina (9/5): -
- Gary (8/5): - Staff was helpful
- Robyn (5/5): Hidden security deposit that is not mentioned on booking site. - Room was clean That there was a 100 dollar deposit that was not mentioned on booking, so it left us short. I was looking for a hotel that didn't have that. But seems this facility left that out on booking. And the blankets were thin and scratchy and bed was uncomfortable. Just for those 3 things I wont be back and wont recommend them.
- Lisa (8/5): All around pretty good - Comfy bed Noisey cooler
- Eileen (7/5): - Room was clean. Parking had security cameras. The security and gated property was great. Felt secure. I booked the room online. When I arrived they wanted a $100 security deposit, not the problem. I didn't get the security deposit back into my acct . Until I called to see why they hadn't returned it. Eventually I did get it back in full.
- Patricia J (5/5): -
- Oscar (3/5): Stay was ok room had ants refrigerator not working don’t even go for the breakfast plain nasty pool was terrible - Price Day staff the man in front desk was rude didn’t have a clue on what he was doing
- Christine (3/5): We left very tired - would have expected some form of security to make walk throughs since the room doors all go to the - Well maintained. Room clean, however smelled strongly of chlorine bleach. Parking available on site included, seemed secure. Had to be very assertive to get my service dog admitted and she was clearly not welcome. Next door occupants were having screaming matches until after 2 am and we felt we had no recourse/ no security to call and thought it wise to stay in our room.
Breakfast was mostly “packaged” and not fresh- but basic choices and sufficient.
- Aaron (7/5): -
- Peter (3/5): Never ever again.
- Fermin (6/5): -
- Maria (7/5): -
- Barbati (10/5): - As always my stay was excellent ,from the moment I arrived I was greeted with a smile ,kindness,& knowledgeable people.
The rooms are always kept immaculately clean ,& the grounds are very well maintained also the indoor pool was an added touch.
Thank you Sandia Peek Inn !!!
- Rebecca (10/5): Great location to explore Route 66. Easy off and on the interstate. - The young lady that checked me in was very friendly and efficient. It only too a few minutes to check in. There was some road noisy early but quieted down later.
- Esparza (10/5): -
- Chris (1/5): Won’t stay here again. Facilities dirty, pool is ice cold, breakfast was bad (expired milk) with not much to choose from - Nothing Pool was ice cold. Breakfast was almost non-existent. The milk in the fridge was expired. The juice machine and hot chocolate machine didn’t work. The waffle maker didn’t cook the waffles all the way and the batter tasted off.
- Monique (1/5): -
- Schaefer (5/5): affordable clean stay - breakfast was just OK , small muffins, yogurt, the waffle maker and coffee tea. place needs upgraded which it looks like they may be doing. Location was scary, but the parking lot is within fencing . We didn’t have any issues staying there.
- Loya (5/5): -
- PATRICK (6/5): -
- Jaycee (10/5): -
- Cynthia (10/5): - That we had 3 queen beds Didn't get to spend more time there
- dreytchou (9/5): - 3 lits pour famille de 4,bon lits.
propre
- Ryan (7/5): Good location for Old Town and the zoo - Good location for the zoo, aquarium and botanical garden. Easy access to the room
- Barbati (10/5): - Very helpful & friendly staff enjoyed my stay very much would recommend this place to anyone
- calvin (8/5): Nice comfortable place but the noise from vehicles is ridiculous! - Clean and reasonable Loud vehicles racing up and down the streets interfering with sleep into the wee hours of the night. Have stayed at motels near interstates and NEVER experienced this type of noise. Also have stayed at this motel before and the noise occurred then too!
- Erika (10/5): - No huss and no fuss.. Great, clean and exceptional place. What else do you need from it.. I loved being here...
- Williams (8/5): Very clean and carrying stuff - The staff was very accommodating and very friendly and very helpful and the property was very clean and neat and the beds were very comfortable It was not the room that it was I was supposed to get I did not have a tub or the couch and the sink water came out and sprayed over on to the floor the breakfast there was no eggs or protein and a lot of commercial sugar sweets in the pool was not heated the girls could only stay in it 15 minutes until their lips turn blue
- William (6/5): -
- Betty (10/5): Will stay next time in area. Love this motel. - This is my fifth stay. Very comfortable. Great & friendly staff. Easy access to areas of my interest. Nothing
- Kelli (3/5): DO BETTER! - I liked the fact that I could book last minute The price was too high for the quality of room! Beds were like sleeping on concrete! The room was missing the plate that goes in the microwave! The hair dryer was falling off the wall! It was a non smoking room, which was fine, but the attendant said there was no smoking on the property even though they had ash trays outside! 🤔! Coffee maker in room was broken! We left out at 6am, stopped by the front desk to get some coffee and maybe something to eat from their complimentary breakfast, but no one was up and doors were locked
- Sarah (10/5): - Friendly front desk staff. Good location.
- David (8/5): Needs a Bit of Work. - Nice overall but has some issues. The hot/cold on the sink was reversed and the shower curtain was tub-length even though it was a step in shower so water on the floor. Breakfast was meager. Next to a fairly busy street, so some street noise. The owner/manager was super friendly and accommodating.
- Aaron (8/5): - 4/5 – Pleasant Stay with Exceptional Service and a Shower You Won’t Forget
We stayed at Sandia Inn in Albuquerque during our road trip and were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, clean, and ready for us even though we checked in late — around 12:30 AM. The young woman at the front desk was prompt, polite, and incredibly helpful. Despite the late hour, she took the time to recommend several family-friendly activities nearby and made us feel welcome right away.
We booked the suite with one king and one queen bed, which turned out to be perfect for our family of five. Our two-year-old shared the king bed with us, while our older kids (ages 10 and 4) took the queen. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably and move around without feeling cramped.
Now, as a licensed plumber, I have to mention one thing that stood out — the water pressure in the shower. I’ve seen a lot of plumbing setups in my career, and this one takes the cake. The pressure was extremely high — easily the strongest I’ve ever experienced in any hotel. While some might appreciate that level of force, it was bordering on uncomfortable. I’d strongly recommend that the property have a plumber inspect the system to ensure the pressure isn’t exceeding safe limits, both for guest comfort and to prevent potential damage to the plumbing lines.
Overall, Sandia Inn provided a comfortable, clean, and family-friendly stay at a fair price. With a little adjustment to the water pressure, it would
- Olivia (7/5): Quick, easy stop over option - Free parking, spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Lamp and curtain were unfortunately broken. Thick pillows.
- Jacqueline (10/5): - amazing staff, very clean and large room, cleaning 10/10.
- Traveller (6/5): Well managed motel but location was not so great - Well managed motel, decent room, good Wi-Fi and great staff Location was not very attractive, more breakfast options would not hurt
- Deborah L (8/5): Clean, Comfortable, Reasonably Priced. - Clean, good location, close to Old Town, on the old Route 66. Close to assorted New Mexican eating establishments. I would stay here again. Route 66 was a bit noisy at night.
- Damon (4/5): Do not stay here. - The road noise is very loud (the rooms are too close to the road). Small, roach-like bugs in the bathroom. The Air Conditioning unit was very loud in my room.
Do not stay here.
- Irene (10/5): -
- Christina (2/5): Unsafe, Dirty, and No Security, Do not stay here! - We reserved this room based on the reviews. They were WRONG! Bad area with homeless and addicts. Next to Central Ave Very Loudbwithvcats and police sirens.
No security on site. Someone smoking weed as we were going into room. The room looked nothing like the pictures, it was small and dingy and smelled of the disinfectant at the GOODWILL. We immediately felt unsafe. As someone approached us to buy stolen products. We did not want to stay and went to cancel our stay and find a safer location. We were told we were ok to cancel at first and follow up for refund. After 4 days we were advised the manager denied our refund even though we did not stay in the room AT ALL! The reviews and pictures do not match the actual location do not stay here!
- Michael (4/5): Nicht zu empfehlen -
- Rikus (7/5): - Goede prijs kwaliteits verhouding inclusief (basaal) ontbijt.
- Ida (8/5): A motel along route 66 - no more, no less - It had what you’d expect from a motel, but also included a basic breakfast Nothing major.
