Doručak.Jako slab izbor hrane,a kad se desi da nečeg nestane,treba jako puno vremena da to konobari ponovno donesu. S obzirom da su digli cijene usluga,mogli su se potruditi i da hrana bude bolja.

• Siniša (1/5): Need better stuff educaton - After we canceled 30 minutes after we arrived I do not like nothing. 3 days ago we called them that they areange for us electic bikes (outsource) they said that will call us about that but did not, then we come there on a arrival day still they did not know how can we rent it but we get number after I insist that we arrange it directly becouse I have seen that nothing is settled and rent company need few hours to prepare. Second stuff at reception does not know what they offer in their web site (packages) We were there few times on lunch in a past few years. We allways was at restaurant these years with our small pet (dog) , yesterday when we came first they said we can not have lunch and small dog with us, then after said that we can sit at the edge table separate and stay with dog , and we sit there , then after few minutes they come again and said that we can not be there with small dog, it was strange and unpolite in few minutes changeing from allowed to not allowed. It was about noon and empty restaurant , we were only guests. After this situations with reception and restaurant we said that we will cancelled stay and went on other rplace for lunch and accomodation.

• Ankica (10/5): Nice Hotel, friendly staff, good environment near the centar . - Friendly service during the stay of the people specially of service lady Magdalena at the restourant. She is very nice and friendly. Very good at her job, Also at the check in was very friendly after some misunderstanding Marija was helping us very good. Hotel is modern and the rooms nice. We had very nice views of the mountains and beautiful sunsets from our balcony. No problem for people with rolator. My mam was happy with that. Enjoying the sauna and hydromassage. Very nice.. It was an very nice stay for my mother and me. and we are coming back with plesure. Nothing negative to report.

Refrigerator gets only plugged in if you order something from the bar to take to your room?? Towel rack needed to be fixed to be heated . Minor complaints. Room is small though , balcony extends it visually.

A pet friendly hotel, that I will recommend to everybody. Nice staff as well and the wellness offers were lovely.

• Lucy (4/5): A 9.1 rating is a vast exaggeration -  Our waiter at lunch and dinner was charming. Our lunch and dinner were both very tasty. The front desk was very pleasant and gracious when we checked out early.  The air conditioner which didn’t cool the room sounded like an airplane ,the furniture was worn and scruffy, the wall was patched, and re-patched  and Spa had seen better days about five years ago.

We ordered 3 beers, after 30 min waiting, we call again, if they will bring them or not, after another 20 min, they said the bar just closed, as they can not bring the beers. Apart from that, nice hotel, nice location, nice breakfast. We would definitely come back again

• Tom (3/5): Overpriced - Rooms are big. Wellness is ok Checking in and out at the reception is a kafkaesk bureaucratic nightmare. Staff is absolutely clueless. Colleague had a room where the AC was literally raining and could not be fixed. Very remarkable this defect hadn't been noticed by staff. On weekdays there apparently only is a buffet in the restaurant. No a la carte.
• Maria (8/5): Tranquil location - Hotel Kaj is located right next to Marija Bistrica town centre. It is a short walk to the Church. Bed was excellent, my room had a view over the adjacent fields. Breakfast was ok, but do remember that tourist groups stay here - we had them both mornings of our stay, so it may be a fight to get anything from the breakfast buffet! The shower set up was strange - no matter how I turned it, the bathroom floor would get wet (yes, even with the glass partition set up). The wifi was sporadic - which wasn't helpful when trying to contact family back in Australia. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room - you had to go to the bar and order and pay for one if you wanted it. For the price, I would have thought they would include it (like other hotels around the world), but apparently its not something they do here. My room was also noisy - I could hear scraping of chairs, people knocking on other doors nearby etc.
• Anita (9/5): worthwhile stopover in very interesting town - modern Hotel near center of town. Room was very small and colors taupe and brown, like a business hotel. Dinner was very good , but slow service. No brochures of town and place of pilgrimage…too bad.
• Andelko (9/5): Excellent vegan food options - The entire hotel including the rooms is exceptionally clean. However, it's not the nice rooms and the facilities the best this hotel has to offer but the staff. Everyone we interacted with was so genuinely friendly, hospitable, and keen to accommodate special requests. They truly represent the kindness, hospitality, and generosity of the people of Zagorje. We felt so welcome, and the vegan food was amongst the best we had in the world. The vegan food they served us during our stay was better than what I have been served in a Michelin star restaurant in France I visited a few months ago. The quality and freshens of the ingredients are exceptional. Another positive observation of ours was that they the toiletries in the rooms were cruelty free. The menus contain references to "vege" food which is a very vague term and depending on who you talk to it can mean so many different things. We would have preferred if the food on the menu was clearly labelled as vegan. We had to query with the staff about the ingredients of the dishes to understand whether something was vegan or not. However, the waiters were keen to answer our questions and get more info from the kitchen staff. Staff would benefit from education on what means "vegan", "vegetarian", "pescatarian" etc. On one occasion we were asked whether we eat cheese or fish after we clearly stated that we want vegan options. On another occasion, honey was offered to us as one of the ingredients for the smoothie. The restaurant makes great vegan food, but we had to check with the staff about the ingredients for every dish we ordered to be confident that we'll get the food free of any animal products. Another thing that could be improved is the choice of vegan options as part of the standard dinner and breakfast buffet and how the vegan dishes are labelled. For example, there was one (and only) vegan dish available as part of the dinner buffet, but this was not labelled as vegan. The hotel charges a flat fee for a buffet dinner and breakfast, but you will not see your money's worth as the vegan offering is very limited comparing to an abundance of non-vegan options. However, I'm sure the hotel would accommodate special requests (as they did with us) and prepare food specially for you if you give them a notice beforehand. We were told that their vegan tasting menu was great but, unfortunately, it's four persons minimum so we could not test it on this occasion as it was two of us.
