• Allen (6/5): Maria deserves 5 stars, the room itself, 1star. - Maria, our host, was excellent, very friendly and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The breakfasts were very good. Maria went out of her way to give us two mattress pads which I desperately needed in order to get a decent night’s sleep. The room was incredibly tiny, with no place to sit or relax in our room (except on our beds) and no place in the Prestige Room to sit or relax. The beds were very firm, and not at all comfortable, but thanks to Maria’s help I slept very well the last 3 nights.

Il bagno. La doccia, da rivedere sicuramente. Doccino che non era in sede e pertanto dovevi reggere con una mano se volevi lavarti. E aggiungerei una luce sullo specchio per chi, come me, vuole truccarsi. Davvero troppo buio. Aggiungerei anche due appendini

• estelle (4/5): Bien situé mais à déconseiller au vu des désagréments. - Maria est attentionnée Emplacement très bien situé. Chambre correcte : attention ce n'est pas un hôtel, mais une chambre d'hôte, il n'y a personne sur place à partir de 14h quand vous rencontrez des soucis comme c'était le cas pour nous ! L'alarme du coffre fort qui était verrouillé s'est mise à sonner à 1h du matin : nous avons essayé d'appeler la propriétaire qui ne pouvait se déplacer. Nous avons donc sorti l'étagère avec le coffre fort à 1 h du matin sur le pallier et évidemment avons eu des difficultés à se rendormir. Aucune compensation n'a été faite malgré nos relances ni par booking service clientèle. Par ailleurs nous avons envoyé les photos et les vidéos de ce désagrément mais aussi de la douche qui était moisie. L'ouvrier qui est venu le lendemain remettre en place l'étagère a forcé la remise en place de l'étagère et toute la peinture de cette dernière était dans notre valise qu'il n'a pas poussé. le petit déjeuner est très industriel, pas de produits frais à part quelques fruits. La machine à café n'est pas très propre non plus. Ceci dit Maria est sympathique, veut bien faire mais on remarque qu'elle appréhende les remarques car elle doit avoir probablement une certaine pression de la propriétaire ?? Ne venez pas tous en même temps pour le petit déj car les places sont restreintes.

Molto apprezzata anche la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli in custodia dopo il check-out. Unica nota negativa è stata la colazione: quasi totalmente assenti i prodotti freschi. La scelta era limitata a prodotti industriali di bassa qualità, tanto che a quel punto avrei preferito che non fosse inclusa e pagare un prezzo minore.

• Rimantas (5/5): it was ok, but I wouldn't choose it again - location in a prestigious area, old, historic building The photos of the rooms were taken a long time ago (do not correspond to reality). The rooms are supposedly ok, but with many annoying shortcomings - the daytime curtains are not hung, the batteries in the air conditioner panel do not work, the blanket is not put on, there are no shower facilities. The overall impression is that the rooms are old, superficially maintained, their high rating on the booking platform is earned in the past and misleads users.
• blaze396 (7/5): - Ottima posizione, facile da raggiungere a piedi dalla stazione, in una bella zona di Roma. Self check-in semplice e con orario flessibile. Buon prezzo considerando la zona in cui si trova il bed & breakfast. La doccia era scomodissima: la porta scorrevole del box non si chiudeva, il soffione della doccia è impossibile da direzionare e il getto d'acqua colpisce le pareti del box anziché il corpo; l'unico modo è stato tenere il doccino in mano. Non siamo riusciti a utilizzare il wi-fi; abbiamo scritto alla signora Luciana per ottenere assistenza, ma non ci ha mai risposto. La camera non è adeguatamente insonorizzata e si sentono sia rumori dalla strada sia le persone del piano di sopra; fortunatamente dopo la mezzanotte i rumori sono cessati.

• laura (7/5): Posizione buona - Si trova in un bellissimo palazzo vicino a Via Veneto, siamo andati a Capodanno, la stanza accogliente anche se piuttosto piccola. Non mi piace il check in senza accoglienza, ci hanno lasciato istruzioni per entrare con diversi codici,non è stato facile, però con una telefonata ci hanno spiegato come fare. Nel prezzo c’è compresa la colazione, lasciate perdere… ci sono bar vicinissimi alla struttura, almeno voi italiani non vi fermate! Non so come possa la signora che esegue le pulizie a fare tutto! Tutta la mia ammirazione I titolari della struttura non si sono mai visti, dovrebbero essere più presenti.

• VIVIANE (6/5): Great location, comfortable bed, but not a hotel, do not expect hotel services. - The bed was comfortable, the size of the room was ok. The location was outstanding. The price was reasonable for what was offered. The air conditioning worked well and the soundproof windows were great. It is not exactly a hotel, what was not clear when I booked. It works more like a bed a breakfast, which is ok, but it should be clearer when I booked. Said that, the lady responsible for the place was initially friendly, but was complaining all the time about everything, specially that her back hurt so much that she could not do anything. She did it in a way that made me uncomfortable on even asking her to clean my room. So I spent 4 days without having my room cleaned, what I think it is wrong, it is not my fault that she was not well. The owner should had done something and called someone else to help, right? The lady was also very insistent that we pay cash, when it was not an obligation of us. When I said we could not do it, she was upset. Also, she was very rude to a couple that asked for help to book an early taxi to the airport. They were Indian and I had to translate their request to the lady, because she does not speak any English. I was even embarrassed to say to the couple that she basically said it was not her problem… I think that when we go on vacations we should not be pass through situations like that. It is not a luxury place, and I am empathetic with imigrants (I am one was well) but waking up everyday hearing the complaints of that lady was very annoying.

• Vincenzo (9/5): Un gradevole soggiorno a pochi passi da Via Veneto - Arrivare in Via Lombardia, a pochi passi da via Veneto, è stato meraviglioso, forse perché è una parte di Roma che mi affascina o semplicemente perché mi ricorda ancora il film della Dolce Vita felliniana! Fatto è che, nonostante il tempo sia passato, la zona conserva ancora oggi quel fascino intramontabile degli anni ’60: centralissima, viva, servita dai mezzi pubblici e punteggiata da locali che rendono ogni passeggiata un piacere. Passando ora alla descrizione della camera, possiamo certamente dire che era luminosa e con una pulizia impeccabile. Dopo la sistemazione, abbiamo scoperto il letto comodo che ha reso il riposo piacevole e rigenerante. La colazione, abbondante e ben servita, è stata un momento speciale: il cappuccino, ottimo, accompagnava chiacchierate mattutine che resteranno impresse nella memoria. Ma il vero fiore all'occhiello di questo soggiorno è stato Maria, con le sue maniere gentili, la cura nel servire la colazione e l’attenzione alla pulizia della stanza, ha trasformato la nostra permanenza in qualcosa di più di un semplice pernottamento. Maria è il cuore pulsante del DG Prestige Room: la sua accoglienza egregia ci ha fatto sentire non ospiti, ma amici. Non tutto, però, è stato perfetto. Partiamo dal presupposto che il b&b ha bisogno di una profonda ristrutturazione: partiamo dall’insonorizzazione della camera, che lasciava molto a desiderare. I rumori provenienti dall’esterno si facevano sentire, togliendo un po’ di quiete. Il bagno, seppur pulito, era piuttosto piccolo, con lavandino e doccia dalle dimensioni ridotte. Inoltre, punto molto negativo, l’ascensore datato nella sua fattezza, che ricordava più un cimelio del passato che un servizio che si addice ad un b&b di tutto rispetto. Piccole ombre, certo, ma che non hanno oscurato la bellezza e il fascino di una delle zone più belle di Roma.

The location is ideal—just a short walk from all the main attractions—yet quiet enough for a peaceful rest after a long day of exploring. The room was spotless, elegant, and very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. A special thank you to Maria, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. She made us feel truly welcome and treated us with such warmth and humanity that we instantly felt at home. Thanks to her, we even managed to enjoy an extra day in beautiful Rome. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the Eternal City—this place is a gem!

• GLENN (10/5): Good Hotel - FABULOUS staff!!! - We had a wonderful stay at DG Prestige - one of several businesses that is housed in a typically Italian building, you have to look closely for the small sign next to the door as its not obvious. Our room was small but clean, the air con worked wonderfully & it was perfectly quiet at night PLUS it was a great price for the centre of Rome. The hotel itself is nice but what majesit stand out is the fabulous Maria, who did EVERYTHING - from checking us in 3 hours early and giving us coffee & breakfast after an early flight, shes the one who cleans the rooms too & is always on hand to help... she speaks very little English but her kindness & hospitality shines through!! Location wise, your 5 minutes walk from the top of the Spanish Steps, there are 2 very good restaurants directly below the hotel - its a safe area & we felt very confortable wandering around at night...though it is at the top of a hill so be prepared for the walk back up from the centre. We will most definately stay here again!!
• WILLIAN (10/5): - A estadia foi muito boa. Maria nos recebeu muitíssimo bem e foi nota 10. O quarto estava limpo, foi oferecida a limpeza nos dias posteriores e o quarto é condizente com as fotos. O café da manhã é ótimo, tem uns cornetos deliciosos. O custo benefício foi bom. Caso queira pegar um ônibus na volta se estiver cansado na volta é possível! Voltaria com certeza.
• Samantha (9/5): - Avevo soggiornato 3 anni fa in questa struttura e visto che ci eravamo trovate molto bene ho prenotato e hanno soggiornato lì i miei genitori. Il soggiorno è stato perfetto. Ringraziano ancora tantissimo la signora Maria per le carinerie, l'ospitalità e la disponibilità. Arrivati gli hanno anche dato la possibilità di avere una camera più grande. Pulizia ottima e giornaliera. Buona la posizione e la colazione. Consigliatissimo. Rumore un po' fastidioso dell'aria condizionata in camera... forse un po' datata.

• miriam (4/5): Good location, poor breakfast, telephone loud ring overnight, intermittent Internet. - Location and Whatsapp communication. Noise, from some type of engines, ?bathroom, AC...But the worst was the old fashion telephone loud ring over night that woke me up x 2. And the annoying lady who watches you at breakfast.

La limpieza no se realizó a diario, quedaron las toallas mojadas dando olor a humedad en un baño chico y sin ventilación. La bomba del agua hacía un ruido infernal. El desayuno nada variado. La Sra María predispuesta pero sobrepasada. Mucho por mejorar por el precio que se paga

• Philippe (5/5): Un appartement redécoupé, désuet, et des prestations pas au niveau du prix - Bon emplacement. Personnel sympathique et en particulier Maria. Literie confortable. Équipements désuets. Une bouilloire mais ni tasses ni thé ou café. Un frigo HS. Ce n’est pas un véritable hôtel. Petit déjeuner très bas de gamme.

Maria was an asset, very friendly and accommodating nothing too much trouble😍 one small criticism was check in process wasn’t ideal and had to contact a few times to get email with procedures but that is a personal preference on having someone around on arrival and I did book knowing this was the process overall great time😀

• Devir (10/5): - Stayed at DG Prestige Room in Rome and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place is super clean, comfy, and in a great spot to get around the city. But the real highlight was Maria – she treated me like a prince the whole time and made sure everything was perfect. Can’t recommend this place enough if you’re visiting Rome!

• Andreea (10/5): Unforgettable Roman experience - Exceptional location, close to Piazza di Spagna and the Borghese Gardens, small shops and restaurants close by, spacious rooms, comfy beds, airconditioning, blinds etc. Mariana was like a mother to us and took care of all our needs instantly.

• Arifa (7/5): Average - Location It was safe room was neat and clean and bathroom small but good Breakfast was average. Not good variety not value for money There were flies hovering over the cakes and pastries I didn’t realise when I booked it that the hotel is in a building that is only located on the 3rd floor , only way to communicate was to message or call the hotel if there was any problems There’s only 1 person you see that handles the breakfast room, room cleaning and admin- she’s worked very hard and tried her best. It’s not a one person job. The lift is centuries old fortunately it worked well but each time we entered I was fearful of getting stuck in it . At lest in the morning there should be staff on hand to speak to
