- Studman17 (10/5): Hidden Gem! - We LOVED Inn on The Cliff! We went for an anniversary weekend and will not stay anywhere else when we are in St. George! The staff was incredible. The breakfast in bed each morning was so fun and the restaurant was exceptional! This place is a hidden gem (or maybe we simply had not found it yet.) We immediately got a room for our son and his soon to be wife for their honeymoon next month!

- Q2207BWlindag (10/5): Pure heaven! - This is the second time staying here, nothing better than being on a cliff over looking all of St George and so close to so many beautiful places to explore, hike, bike or anything. The rooms are so nice, clean and all have balconies. The morning breakfast included is so adorable and the perfect snacks to get you going. The staff could not be any nicer and accommodating! And the Cliffside Restaurant on site has the most delicious food and get there special Lemon-Limeade! Love Utah!!!

Staff is amazing and very well trained. They provide a nice breakfast each morning, coffee maker and nice fridge in the room. They provide a beds are amazing and very comfortable. A nice pool and hot tub with an amazing view. Front desk staff amazing always got us ice for our water bottles and nice cream for my coffee. The location is very central, not far from downtown St.George and other great attractions

The hospitality was wonderful, they made sure we had everything we needed and when they found out we were celebrating our anniversary, they sent sparkling cider and cheesecake to our room. The view from our room was stunning and the location was perfect for our activities in and around St. George. We also loved that breakfast was delivered to our room with a phone call when it was convenient for us. All of this at such a great price, we'll definitely be back!

Room was well appointed, very clean, and included spa level toiletries. The food and service in the restaurant were outstanding. I enjoyed delicious entrees for lunch and dinner on my first day. I was able to schedule the time at which a complimentary breakfast was brought up to my room the following morning. Five star atmosphere, service and amenities at a three star price. Highly recommended.

- K9583ISjaninew (10/5): Once again, fantastic! - This was our fourth stay at the Inn on the Cliff on our way from Minnesota to California and back, and once again it did not disappoint. The room, the service, the food (even if you don't stay at the Inn, you HAVE to eat at Cliffside), and of course, the view -- all fantastic. We explored the area around St. George a bit more this time and discovered that we loved the area even more than before. Highly recommend both the Inn and the Cliffside. We'll be back!

Every room has and amazing view and the restaurant is sooo good that we prefer to eat there every night instead of going out and trying some of the local options. - Shalon_Nakashima (10/5): Unexpected gem - The Inn on the Cliff was a great little boutique hotel. The view from the room was amazing as was the mattress. It was quiet and relaxing, everything that my husband and I needed. Breakfast was the perfect size and was delivered right to the room at the exact time I requested. My third favorite thing after the view and the mattress was the shower head. It was the perfect amount of pressure I needed to massage out the headache I'd had all day. Word of warning though, the hot water in the shower worked a little too well. If you're not careful you might come out looking like a cooked lobster like my husband. I also would have preferred a firmer pillow, although my husband liked his just fine. We definitely plan on making this our preferred place to stay any time we're in St. George and are recommending it to everyone we know.

- 184claral (6/5): Beautiful views, but needs some work - I always like to go to the red rocks as a reset for the new year. The spa that I usually go to had closed. I donāt need fancy but I do want quality. The Inn is an older motel that has been somewhat renovated. Unparalleled views and beautiful location. Every room has a view, which is why I chose the Inn. I made the reservation directly with the hotel and requested a room on the second floor. When we got there, we were assigned a room next to the stairs on the first floor. Thankfully, they were able to pivot and gave us a room on the second floor and thank God because you can hear every step as people move about. Our room was impeccably clean, but my sheets had small stains on them. This place is worn the carpeting makes it smell and feel like an old motel. Iām surprised that they havenāt removed it. In addition, somebody was smoking pot and cigarettes in one of the rooms and our room immediately filled with that smell and smoke. Walls are thin and it came through the vents. This is supposed to be a non-smoking facility but I understand that the management canāt control that. Water pressure was excellent. The mattress is worn and on a platform, which is good for your back, but thereās nothing preventing the mattress from sliding off when you sleep and move around. Needed to get up several times to push the mattress back. Needs to have some sort of stopper at the end of the bed. I thought there was a fireplace, but there wasnāt. My bad. A great touch was the smart TV where you could put in your own credentials to use the streaming services. This is not a place where I necessarily wanted to stay in the room. It rained during our stay so we were a little stuck. We didnāt eat their complementary breakfast, which is a very nice touch. However, be prepared for prepackaged food and yogurt that is very, very sweet w sweet granola and cinnamon buns that are also very sweet. If morning sugar is not your jam, they do provide packaged almonds and packaged cheese. An egg wouldāve been welcomed. The management clearly cares deeply about their property, but if you want to stay in a newer motel, there are many other options in the area.

The rooms have a balcony great for sitting outside to see the view of St George. The restaurant has great food and room service plus a sweet breakfast every morning. I will stay there every time I come to St George!! Plus everyone is super nice!!
- mtravels8888 (2/5): This is a glorified motel with bad customer service. - This is described as a "luxury" hotel, and it isn't. It's a glorified motel. I booked it because of the view, but the pictures look way better than the real thing. The room looks cute and clean when you walk in with the renovating they did, but it smelled off. Also, the view isn't as spectacular as they make it seem. It's right above a highway, which was a pretty big buzzkill. I went out on the patio, and it was rickety. It felt like it was sloped and not stable. Worst part was trying to sleep here. I had extra allergies from the air in the room. The stuffiness went away once I was outside for a bit, so I know it was the room air. The heating unit was not effective, there weren't any extra blankets, and the sheets made me very itchy all night too. The waters and creamers in the fridge were completely frozen and not usable. Another gripe was at check-in. I had a stranger construction guy who was onsite working on something on the hotel and he walked in and was standing behind me, waiting to talk to the front desk girl. It's a very small check-in area, and the girl at the front loudly announced that I only needed one key, said aloud my room number, then loudly repeated the make/model of my car while he stood there listening/watching the whole time. I found it very off putting, unprofessional, and highly inconsiderate of a female solo traveler. It may be a safe area, but that was not okay. I was scheduled for 2 days, but I left after one night and requested a refund for the second night. My requests were blown off by the owners (a couple who loves to send lots of auto emails and were VERY happy to charge my card in advance of my visit). I made multiple attempts to have a conversation with them to further explain my request for a one-night refund. Zero response. So, that's why I'm here. Bad customer service and a lackluster stay. I can't recommend staying here. If I travel to St. George again, I'm staying downtown at a real hotel, where you can walk around to shops and restaurants and be closer to everything.

- smokewrench (10/5): Amazing Grandview room - We stayed in the Grandview room # 105. The view and location was absolutely amazing especially at night. The staff was warm and friendly and very accommodating. The housekeeping staff was by far the best we have ever had. The room was completely restocked every day. The daily continental breakfast was very nice but it would be good to have an option for people with diabetes. It had to many sugary items. A breakfast sandwich or hard boiled egg would be a good option instead of a cinnamon roll. I would like to make a recommendation to add a power strip (we had to go and purchase one) to the window side of the bed. Because one of the outlets was blocked by the bed frame, making it difficult to plug anything else in. When taking a shower and upon exiting the floor is sloped downward and makes it very slippery. It could possibly lead to a bad fall. We really had a great time and amazing Birthday during our stay

- JAC2010 (10/5): Don't Miss the Inn on The Cliff! - What a wonderful gem this hotel is! We were greeted by Naomi at the front desk at check in. She told us all about the property, the restaurant and our room. When we entered our room, we were blown away by the huge glass windows and balcony with truly spectacular views of St. Geroge, Pine Mountain and the surrounding red rocks of the area. Our room was spacious and cozy. We enjoyed dinner at the Cliffside restaurant adjacent to the hotel the first night. Our server (Alex?) was fantastic, and the food was delicious. We had a continental breakfast delivered to our door each morning during our stay. Our room was cleaned daily with care and attention to detail. Our fridge was also stocked daily with bottled water and coffee creamers. The location is near every place you want to see, dine, tour and shop in downtown St. George. This hotel is owned and managed with attention to excellent service and guest satisfaction. We will always stay here on our future trips to St. George!

Great price. The only thing they donāt have that I wished they did, was a wand in the shower. But that is easy to do without. The views were exceptional. The area felt incredibly safe and was so peaceful. Next time we are in St. George, we intend to stay here again. The breakfast was wonderful and I looked forward to it each morning. The attached restaurant was fantastic. The type of place that people go to for special occasions. Loved everything about it. If you are staying in St. George this should be your number 1 choice.

Breakfast came each morning in a bento box style - delicious continental that included parfait (fruit, granola, yogurt), muffin and orange juice. Friendly staff. Easy parking and location up the hill sitting above the city. Pool was warm and small jacuzzi very nice (sits on the edge of the cliff). The restaurant next door is separate from hotel (no charges to hotel room) but excellent food and romantic vibe. Definitely make a reservation! It was easy to order food and take back to room. Awesome stay and cannot wait to return!! We had a room with a single king bed and private balcony (#107). Friends had more like a suite with TV and sofa room, #104.

The boutique feel of the hotel made it feel intimate and peaceful, and every detailāfrom the modern decor to the complimentary breakfast delivered to our roomāwas thoughtfully curated. Our room was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, with a private balcony that offered panoramic views of the red rock landscape. The bed was plush, the bathroom spacious, and the smart TV was a nice touch for winding down in the evenings. The Cliffside Restaurant next door was a highlight of our stay. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner with stunning sunset views. The food was beautifully presented and deliciousāespecially the spinach salad and the chili-glazed salmon with fresh mango salsa and coconut rice. Service was attentive without being overbearing.

We also booked a year in advance to make sure we got the top floor due to loud people staying above us early in the morning in the past . Needless to say-We did not get the top floor and had loud people above us starting at 4:00 am in the morning. Did not get much sleep the last few days because of it.

I checked out with the front desk before checkout time and requested a receipt. I was told I would need to get the receipt from the company that I booked the room with. When I pushed to get a receipt right and there, I was told that I would be receiving the receipt via email through the company I booked the room through. Long story short, I never received an email, and I was charged for the fourth night on my business credit card. Needless to say, I will never stay at this hotel again,

- AlfredS299 (10/5): Nice motel incredible view! - I spent one enjoyable night at this Inn. The building is older but it is very clean and well maintained. This is a motel type Inn. I was on the second floor and the Inn doesnāt have an elevator. My room was very nice and well furnished with all the usual amenities. What set it apart was the view from my balcony. This Inn truly is set on a cliff and the view of St. George from my room was spectacular. The Inn also includes a restaurant and a pool. They bring a free breakfast to your room at 7am. The young man who was at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. When I am back in St. George I will be making another visit to this Inn.

- ashley (10/5): - I took my mom here for her birthday. We had a great time. Every hotel room has a balcony where you can lookout and see the city. The steakhouse on-site was on point. From our table we had a 180 degree view of the city. The food and cocktails were good. The hotel manager gave my mom a few complimentary items for her bday. The staff was pleasant. Our room was clean. I would stay here again.

- GrandTour32024033438 (10/5): The best inn in St. George - We love this small hotel and stay here whenever we pass through St. George (unless the hotel is already booked!). It has a lovely view of the city, a nice pool and hot tub, comfortable beds, nice-size rooms, and a fantastic restaurant. The food and service are both excellent, and the hotel brings breakfast to your room in the morning. Although the generator and road noise is loud on the balconies, the rooms are very quiet. We like this hotel a lot.

Especially with old very low toilet and vanity area. Restaurant was a sharp contrast. Had 5:30 reservation and arrived 15 minutes early. Said I would come back the but you could definitely seat me then. Said yes. Came back and checked in and was told it was 5:29 and he couldnāt seat me until then. Arrogant as if he was doing me a favor to seat me. Terrible Processing! Will not return.

From the check in with Addie at the front desk to our very restful sleep, we found the Inn to be a really great choice of where to stay in St. George. The location is great with awesome views. The customer service was superior. We originally had a second floor room booked but due to some limitations, needed a change to a first floor one and it was accomplished without any hassle. Then, since we needed to leave very early, before the regular breakfast hour, Addie brought us a tray with breakfast items to put in our refrigerator. Talk about great hospitality! It really epitomized the overall good service this facility provided. If we are ever in St. George again, this would be our first choice of places to stay and we would highly recommend it to friends and family!

The best customer service anywhere we have stayed. The rooms were tastefully remodeled centered around the amazing view. The bed was one of the best we have had. There was a Kuerig coffee maker, which is so nice. The pool was perfect. Clean and comfortable. The hot tub was also perfect. Wow, what a view! Breakfast was brought to the room each morning. We enjoyed it on our private patio along with the magnificent view. A special touch. We have stayed in some of the best hotels all over this great nation. This rates right up there at the top! - shorethingprods (10/5): Staying & Dining On The Cliff In St. George And Loving It - Came across and found this hotel while web surfing for a new place to stay in St. George, UT as we were tired of our former "tried and true" former places for some R&R before and after shows at TUACAHN. So glad I did as The Inn On The Cliff turned out to be a wonderful surprise that offered us far more to love than not. While I did not research the creation story of IOTC, I urge you to do so as it is one worth learning about, appreciating, and respecting as the owners had a vision and a dream for the hotel and in-house restaurant that they followed and fulfilled. So glad they did as the results are well worth you booking, staying and dining there. A very low-key, laid back, hassle free experience can be had there by the traveler who plans ahead. For example, I called and spoke with Taylor at the front desk with a few questions as my wife has mobility issues and I learned that IOTC does not have an elevator. Taylor was very helpful in suggesting ROOM #105; a ground floor accommodation with a stall shower which he made sure had a bench and mat in place when we checked in. He also helped us arrange dinner reservations which we highly recommend as the food choice and preparation/presentation were excellent. Every room has a wonderful view overlooking St. George as does the restaurant and outdoor dining area as well as the pool/SPA. The IOTC is a "must stay" destination with clean, comfortable, well designed rooms and exemplary service. You will not be disappointed. Trust me.

Despite paying for 3 guests, the room had only 2 of everything (cups, coffee pods, pool towels etc), which is annoying. TV was complicated to operate. We were not able to get a table or takeaway from the restaurant as it was too busy. Alternatives involve driving into town.

My only regret was we were only booked in for 1 night and arrived quite late but this is someplace I would come back for to visit in the USA itself as the hotel is stunning the staff were great and there is so many places to visit outside the area.

The worst part though was our bed was inches from the A/C unit. Cold blowing on your face all night is not comfortable. I paid for an above average experience but did not get it. The room set up was no impressive. Bed should be moved to another wall. A table should be on both sides of bed. Counter space in bathroom is sad. I will say again that the staff was so kind and helpful. Just too bad the room was so disappointing.
