Guest Reviews
- Brian (8/5): - Property was clean.
- Jem (2/5): - You closed down a few days before I left on my trip.
- Joy (10/5): Top notch customer service - I just want to say that the management at this hotel is top-notch. What a wonderful girl who goes far and beyond to provide A comfortable and clean experience for those that decide to stay here…. I really like the staff here
- Ryan (10/5): - Good for the price
- Fanny (8/5): - Convenient and good location. First night, Wi-Fi didn't work but it was fixed by the second night (prompt)
- Martin (8/5): - It was a good place to stay for the price. Close to the costal areas, close to shopping center and the employees were very kind and respectful.
The only thing I was bummed about was the shower being so small, however overall it was an amazing stay.
Will definitely be staying here again.
- nancy (6/5): - We had to upgrade bc the first room to small and had BO to smelly . The upgrade was to a suite which was big enough nice no bad odor some hair in the restroom floor. Ok
- Rene Perez (4/5): - No good cervery
- Arlene (10/5): - Conveniently located
- Chris (2/5): Low Budget dosent mean dirty - Dirty fridge had 3 legs water on floor from quick mop or last person using room idk ?
- Robert (10/5): - convenient
- Ronald (10/5): - Recently renovated. Sparkling clean bathroom.
- Paula (8/5): Average - Average
- Ryan (10/5): - great price for short atay
- Carrieann (8/5): - Usually good stay we stay here often this last time room floor was so filthy room had bacon on floor food on floor could tell bed were only made sticky residue on tables floor counter tops remote was gross sticky full of food residue noticed new housekeepers they were men the women are very clean also refrigerator had no shelvesterrible stay abd people had dogs the size of horses barking and clawing at windows and doors when u walked by
- Geraldine (8/5): Sandy floors - Very friendly and helpful staff i would stay again. The only downside is, when house keeping clean, they did not sweep or mop the floors from the previous guest. Our room stil had sand on the floors.
- Alfonso Martin del (6/5): - Stayed at this location before. It is convenient and central to my needs.
Previous stays have been good, no problems.
However, this time I stayed in the middle building, and there were two situations:
1. The sound proofing on the ceiling was very poor. The tenant above could be heard stomping around and moving/dragging furniture around.
2. The shower fixtures were excellent, but the design of the area was not well thought out. The floor space was rectangular, but the shower curtain was on a curved rod. falling outside the floor space. All water getting on the curtain would fall outside and flood the floor near the sink.
Having said that, I will use this property again.
Requesting a room in the first (East) building.
- Trinh (10/5): - Good
- Dena (2/5): - Very old an undated
- Esperanza (8/5): - Very clean room & quiet area.
- Bozena (10/5): - Comfortable beds, refrigerator and microwave in the room.
- Ashley (10/5): - Stayed here to visit the area. Would stay again. Just as good as any other Motel 6.
- Sylvia (6/5): - The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room itself was a little dirty and old. The bed was surprisingly a queen. They let us check in an hour early and the front office staff was great. The room served its purpose for a quick one night stay.
- Sandip (6/5): - Woke up with loud noises from adjacent rooms early morning. No sound insulation at all
- Robin (6/5): - I stayed for five days, and my room was not serviced one single time.
- Alexander (10/5): - Diego was a very help full person with a humble attitude
- Jim (4/5): - We entered the room to a very strong smell of bleach that would not go away. There was leftover food in the mini fridge from other guests and the room above us was keeping us up because of the lack of insulation. We stayed 2 nights and they didn't clean. They told us they only clean for those that stay 3 nights. Overall, bad experience. I will not return under any circumstance.
- Vianey (2/5): - Ok
- Martin (8/5): - Well maintained.
- Laura (6/5): - It was close to shopping centers
- Guadalupe (8/5): Wack - Wack
- Marco (2/5): Don’t stay here - Room smelt very strong like cigarettes. Shower head was broken and almost flooded the bathroom. Never staying here again.
- gerardo (8/5): - Place was a tad dirty
- Rachele (4/5): Uncomfortable and dirty - My card was charged before I even checked in. My room was a non smoking room and my room smelled like smoke. The beds were hard and one of the beds was sunken in. One of the blankets looked dirty but it was just stained. The floor was dirty. We stayed 2 nights and our room wasn’t even cleaned, we weren’t given new towels and our trash wasn’t thrown out. I complained to the front desk and I was told that they were short a housekeeper and they don’t clean the rooms every day. I was told that I could take my towels to the laundry room and get more towels from the laundry room worker. When I told the front desk worker that I had to walk all the way to the back of the motel and up stairs then back down stairs with all the dirty towels. She realized it was a big inconvenience and gave me a set of towels to take up to my room.
- Michael (6/5): - Decent motel 6. Close to freeway but can’t hear it. Close to Costco and all other stuff in SLO.
- Justin (6/5): - Rooms were dated but clean. Bathrooms were clean. Beds were seriously uncomfortable. Very springy. Location wasn’t great, close to freeway but also lots of transients around.
- Sylvia (10/5): - Hot hot water. Free dog, children and coffee
Microwave and Refrigerator
Beaches not too far about 15 minute drive. No homeless
Night staff guy so nice
- Jeremy (10/5): - Service was amazing
- Lorena (6/5): - I stayed there on 07/17-07/18, when I arrived the staff in the office were very nice and informative. When i got to the room i did a walk through and the first thing I noticed was the bathroom, it was very dirty, the toilet had hairs and residues around the toilet seat, the floors were very dirty, the floor had pieces of toilet paper and hair and garbage. The furniture had dust. The cleaning was terrible. At night it gets so loud by all the people passing by. Other than that it was an okay stay.
- Gina (6/5): Our time here - Stayed there twice convenient for us ten minutes away where we had to go. First time was fine second one to much noise heard the people above us pounding stomping there feet. Heard a man by our window barking at a dog. Some one was parked very close to our window with there head lights on. Bathroom didn’t have a blower vent .
- Gina (10/5): Our 1st time - Stayed here for the first time it was safe cuz I was upstairs. My room was clean an I had a vent in my bathroom. No noise upstairs is better!
- alexander (4/5): Basic - Basic rest on the way to elsewhere
- Nancy (6/5): - Not enough pillows. Hard to work the tv
- BRYAN (10/5): - Definitely will stay here again. I don’t usually stay at Motel 6 locations but I tried my luck and was very surprised and pleased. We stay overnight so we could spend two full days at Pismo Beach which is just a 10 minute drive from the hotel so it was perfect!
- Vianey (10/5): - Safe
- Patty (8/5): Ok Hotel - It was ok for the night. Way too noisy on top of our room past midnight...
- Ilona (2/5): - Very loud, bed was so uncomfortable pillows terrible and poor overall. Not going to stay again
- Kristin (6/5): - The room itself was clean. Staff very friendly & helpful on check in; lots of families and couples staying. Bed linens were spotted and room was very humid, smelled damp. Neighborhood was not terrible, but pot smell everywhere.
- thao (2/5): - AC smells bad. No microwave and coffee inside the room. Very small shower. Small parking, no shame, soap, hair dryer, and shower very dirty. You can hear next room conversations and loud noise walking from upstairs.
- Freddy (2/5): - The wifi does not work at all. I signed into the wifi only to find out it's not secure and will not provide WiFi i could not get any work done.
The manager is rude! She lied and said our room smelled like smoke. So they took our 60$ deposit. The motel has no security cameras. Our car got broke into window broken. The manager is a liar!
- Freddy (2/5): The restroom smelled constantly. - The wifi doesn't work. No place to safely smoke. The manager is rude and a liar. I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. the restroom constantly smelled of sewer. Doesn't properly flush.
- Ruben (4/5): - No thanks
- Freddy (10/5): - Good, clean wifi doe not work.
- Earl (6/5): - Room was small, no microwave, other than that is was fine. No issues
- Douglas (6/5): - No water pressure from shower- very poor at best
No shower toiletries : shampooo body wash???????
- Benjamin (8/5): - Thanks
- Talpe (6/5): - .
- Tina (6/5): - Needs updating but clean,
- Omar (10/5): - Good area ckean rooms
- William (10/5): - Quick checkin
- Rossana (10/5): - Staff is the nicest ever.. Thank you.
- Jenny (4/5): - Our room smelled like wet dog and ammonia. The room and bathroom was not cleaned sufficiently- floor was unswept and sink clogged and dirty. The office managers were very helpful and friendly. Beds were comfy and clean.
Not the nicest place but did the job.
- Denise (10/5): - Nice and simple :)
- Freddy (10/5): Highly stayed again - What's good with recommend
- Linda (10/5): Great for one night and people with cats - We enjoyed our one night here. They take cats, and we have a cat. The bed is a little hard, but the staff is friendly and courteous.
- Freddy (10/5): Would recommend it 😁 great price - It was good 😊
- Freddy (10/5): You'll love it 😉 - Great 😃👍 would recommend it
- Mona (6/5): - Room 135 was shower was clogged. Swimming pool out of service
- Anna (4/5): Never Motel 6 again - This was my first time in Motel 6 in 7 years because my last experience at a Motel 6 was so bad. I was only there because I could not find a campsite on the whole central coast for that night. This visit did not redeem the company at all. This was not even the least expensive place in San Luis Obispo. The floor was filthy, not dirty, filthy. The bed had no spread, just a stained top sheet over a really old blanket. But the two sleeping sheets were ok, and I was only there to sleep. The ac was at least quiet, but I never got the musty uriny smell out of the room with my air freshener. I did speak to both management and the actual housekeeping about the floors, but this is a management issue, and they told me to have a nice day when I mentioned the floors being washed "maybe once in a while". There is not even a mop on the housekeeping cart. I won't try a Motel 6 again. Clearly hygiene is not an priority.
- Justin (8/5): - quick stay to attend a wedding. perfect for that.
- SHAWNEEN (6/5): - We had a mostly good experience. The property was nice and clean, the room was good, It was fairly quiet. We stayed from Friday to Sunday. Friday night was good, Saturday night I had a screaming kid in room next to me, And the people above me were dragging their chair across the room at odd hours of the night. It sounded like they were moving furniture. That’s not the hotels fault though. I would’ve given this a higher rating, but my key didn’t work three times in two days and it was annoying to Get back in my car and go to the office around the corner.
- Tina (10/5): - Check in was fast and efficient. Desk clerk was very nice and friendly.
- Frances (2/5): Rude and - Nice property, very comfortable, stayed here for more than a week. My reservation was made daily which meant having to check-out and re-register each day which was difficult because of my chronic illness and need for sleep. Management was downright rude and insensitive. Staff told me the maximum days is 21 without a hint of hospitality.
- Salvador (10/5): - Close to the places I needed to be
- Susan (2/5): - There are permanent residents there I’m sure. It is in an isolated area of car dealerships.
- Ramona (10/5): Had to cancel my stay, - Due to unforeseen circumstances, that being that my motorcycle broke down, I was unable to complete my stay at the motel six, I called to cancel my reservations, 24 hours in advance and the person I spoke to was very helpful and said that my reservation was canceled, and she was sorry to hear that my trip was cut short. I’m still waiting for my cancellation confirmation email.
- silviana (8/5): - Lose to the freeway
- Adriana (10/5): - Hotel is fine
- Patricia Galvan or Gabriela (10/5): - Nice staff and quiet around and the room was clean
- celia (6/5): - Quick checkin, friendly staff
- Lucy (4/5): - Smelled of urine
- Robert (10/5): - Easy on and off 101. And plenty of parking.
- Jeffery (10/5): - Nice place would come again if I was in town
- Joe (8/5): - Good water pressure, plenty of hot water!
- Kelly (6/5): - Staff was very courteous and helpful. Rooms were small, but the beds were comfortable. Bathroom needed some more cleaning, there was hair all over the place. Road noise was nonstop, but not unexpected
- Richard (10/5): - Came for the Gamma Zeta Alpha Inc Conf at SLO and it a affordable place to stay at for the weekend.
- Maria (8/5): - Friendly staff and quite.. be back again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - excellent employees, very nice and helpful
- Sonjia (8/5): - Easy access. Maybe not a lot if frills, I just needed a good night rest. Perfect
- Eimear (10/5): - 5 stars for the amazing guy on reception. From the moment he checked us in he was super friendly and so helpful in answering all our questions. There was a man acting sketchy in the car park
- Ryan (8/5): - Great staff very friendly and inviting.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - management is rude, very nosy and felt like I had no privacy, overall pretty petty and shady. also a place where truckers stay and the location made it feel very unsafe for a yong woman to be alone.
- Scott (6/5): - Room smelled like sewer water- the other one like an ashtray
- silviana (8/5): - Uncomfortable bed
- Patrick (8/5): - Staff are very courteous
- Genie (10/5): - convinient low cost
- Linda (8/5): Motel 6 is a Bargain mostly. - Unfortunately the motel does not have recycling bins. The dog area was not cleaned by users of the area. I was happy not to pay for pets. My price for 5nights was excellent and I was assured I could add days if needed which I did but at more than three times the price per night I originally paid. All in all it was a pleasant stay.
- Stephanie (10/5): - Property management was super helpful! Maria the housekeeping assistant was very helpful. Everyone was super kind, professional & hardworking. Thank you.
- Maria (10/5): - Above average for a Motel 6. Clean room. Enough towels. Check-in was smooth. The desk clerk was friendly and offered our choice of rooms. We asked for extra pillows and he brought them to us. Negatives were no hair dryer and no in-room coffee pot.
- Genie (10/5): - a microwave would be convenient
