- American Consumer (1/5): Eric Novoa files a Consumer Complaint on Motel chain - Easy and prompt check-in. I disliked the check-out because I called the front to ask for an extra hour or late check-out and the lady said that I can have only 15 additional minutes. Everything was cordial upon ending the telephone conversation with the woman employee at the front desk. So I set my timer for 15 minutes. Less than 3 minutes later, when my timer said about 12 minutes remaining, the young lady employee who checked me in for this stay the day prior was knocking loudly at my door (upstairs). I opened it to see who it was and I notice that she is angry, not just upset, but irate and wants me to in her words, "Get.. your.. stuff.. and.. leave!" I told her I just got the okay from the front desk for a half hour extra time to gather my belongings and check out - since I accidentally overslept a bit, only 1 or 2 hours nap from boredom. Only half my property or luggage were packed into two backpacks and I had some dog food for my friend's pet. She said she is going to call the cops if I don't get out right then and there although it would take several minutes longer to carefully finish packing my belongings without forgetting or accidentally crushing or dropping and breaking items. She then put one foot inside my room to block my door and my exit from the room to speak with a manager at the front who okayed my remaining stay. I asked her to call the front desk and she gave replied, "No!" while talking down to me and making me feel belittled and stupid or helpless and moronic - which I am definitely not. I am not an actor. Now I'm informed, on January 4th's reservation and booking (Booking.com app) of fabricated rule violations of guest and motel policy. I have purposely remained silent until corporate is aware of the matter and allegations. This woman is a disgruntled employee who disrespected me and blackmailed me or set me up. Hearing requested. The hotel wouldn't accommodate a downstairs room for my son's vehicle injury. There wasn't any math mat or wash cloths. And the toilet slanted like of it was going to go through the floor.

Check in was weird my stay was paid for she couldn’t see it on her end I showed her email and my bank statement that it’s paid but she still wanted me to take care of the problem since it was through booking. But clearly it was a problem in their end. I couldn’t get through to booking after driving for 6 hours after a night shift I demanded a room key. She did give it to me but said I have to be reachable for the manager. What the hell lady??? Anyway the area was awful loud ppl arguing and the rooms oh my god I stayed an hour then I got the hell out of there.

- Eddie (6/5): It’s what I needed for the a quick place to stay. So not surprised for what I paid. - Great on and off access for Highway 101. Some options close by to grab a bite to eat. Including a new Chick Fil A. It’s dated, my room had a bit of a smell to it and no microwave. Also bring an extra blanket or leave the heat on cuz they don’t do top covers.
