Guest Reviews
- Gyanendra Gongal (6/5): Try to provide better service - It was noisy during night as it is located in busy road. The hotel owner tried to provide better service when we had breakfast and dinner. It is appreciable.
- N (2/5): Transformed into a discotheque at night - I am a traveller who has experience in guest houses as well as in five Star luxury Hotels. Without prior warning when checking in, the reception of the hotel has been transformed into a discotheque at night.
We could not get one minute of sleep because of the party guests making noise the whole night until the morning.
Talking to the manager the next day, she didn't understand the situation and said that the party guests also had their interests and that this is happening EVERY WEEK. She did NOT seem to make any effort to either understand us or give the money back.
This is a hotel. A hotel, no matter if it costs 30€ or 3000€ / night has to be clean and sustain quietness coming from within the hotel doors at night. As we couldn't get sleep at all, this hotel did not fulfill its meaning.
Nevertheless, the staff was very helpful: John, one of the leading receptionist is an interesting, honest man with a good character who tried to help us out the next morning and organised a phone call to the manager. John and the staff are the only good thing about this hotel.
Although it has good reviews by domestic guests, PLEASE be aware as an international guest that this hotel has not to be compared to any western standard by terms of e.g. cleanliness.
Besides the above noirse problem, I have seen much cheaper guest houses in Manali which were cleaner.
