• Miles (5/5): Room and location were nice, it's our second stay there - View was great, cleaning people were very nice The older white guests were quite rude at the pool area. Before we entered the pool, they were watching us to make sure we showered there, although we showered in our room just before, and they were very strict about telling us not to enter without showering where they can see us (although they were not staff there at all). Afterwards, the staff told us to please shower there, and that was okay because he was the staff, but to be told by the guests was quite rude.

Not really dislike, just provide some feedback for further improvement 1) Bathroom wall grout (white lines) need to redo as some are covered with moulds 2) Shower Tap need polish as it’s covered with long time water stain marks 3) Balcony rattan furniture need to some gloss varnish or change out 4) Air-con compressor very noisy 5) Housekeeper had neglected the balcony cleaning when did daily housekeeping.

My family is on vacation & we booked the hotel partly for the pool located on the 5th floor. We were informed that it was operational at the time odmf booking.. Very very disappointing. NO POOL

• Sanuka (10/5): Exceptional - I had booked a room for my wife, my 10-year-old daughter, and myself. At the reception, a girl deliberately gave us an extra bed, saying that we would have to pay for it for our daughter. She charged us a lot, and we were forced to take it. We still ended up sleeping on one bed. What do they mean when Booking.com didn't face any issue with our booking? We just had to deceive them. No matter how many people are in the room, they are more concerned about who knows.

• Ahmed (10/5): - The only thing I concerned was when I asked a guy alone in the evening at front desk for an extension for next day, he said no room available. But next day afternoon a lady at reception immediately extended my stay in the same room for another day as I wanted.

It rattles and stumbles and is very noisy. If they would change them they would have a +1 point. We booked 2 rooms and it was the same in the other room.

• tamlynr2014 (4/5): Budget condo, cheap and cheerful. - Don’t be fooled by the pictures! Sea view.. partial sea view. They show you the pictures of the rooms facing the sea, but get the rooms facing the city with a partial sea view. Rooms fairly clean, big spacious and have what you need if your on a budget. We booked this as we were only stopping two nights before heading back to Bangkok, we have seen it so many times from our balcony from another hotel, so we booked a sea view suit. I wouldn’t book it again, but that’s just personal preference. If your looking for a cheap stay with a basic room then this is perfect. Pool is great, lovely view. Hands down the worst bed I’ve ever slept on, even my five year old was up complaining with a bad back.

Friendly staff with security surrounding hotel 24/24. Strongly recommended for full relaxation. Tomy& his colleagues@ reception facilitate all needs.
• Paul (6/5): Sea view great, but... - Checked in easily. Went up to room. Room smelled and was tired and worn out. Room wasn't particularly clean. Later I spotted a roach in the bathroom. Went down to reception and used google translate (reception couldn't speak English) to explain. Gave me another room which was cleaner and more undated, also still had the sea view, which was great. So, get google translate sorted and if the room is smelly ask for another. Oh, the mobile signal is not very good around the hotel. Staff are nice.

They did change me for a broken toilet seat that was already fragile and 500 more baht for numerous things that I didn’t even bother to get ignored buy asking why. Ac until ran freezing or warm and bed cardboard. But it was cheap so I got what I paid for, a crappy hotel room.

I saw one on the bedside table and every time I turned on the light in the bathroom I saw one too. At first I said to complain...but I didn't.

• Stephen (7/5): Stopped by in Pattaya - The property got big rooms with a partial sea view. We arrived at this hotel from Krabi. We send the hotel ETA prior to leaving Krabi. When we arrived, they didn’t let us check in even though they knew our ETA. We sat at the lobby for almost 2 hours. At one point I went to the reception to ask about the ATM, that lady was on her cellphone taking to her friend, laughing and ignoring me as if I was annoying her, when she opened her mouth and said “2pm” and then back to her cellphone. Comes check in time, nobody call us to check in, we waited to see if they will tell us to come check in. She didn’t, I went to the reception because I was getting irritated by her attitude. I demanded to talk to the manager. She kept on saying the manager is coming. 10 mins passed, no show. Then she call the manager and the manager told her she doesn’t want to talk to me. That was a red flag. We specifically booked a large bed room, they told us they have two single room. Initially they changed our room and still refused to give us a room with a large bed. In the room the wifi was weak and non non existent. Our room has that 80s TV with poor quality, still using analogue. It was more like watching recent movies with poor quality sound and image. They definitely haven’t migrated to digital. Normally I don’t complain or moan but this was a terrible situation that could have been sorted amicably. Markland top management should take what I write constructively since they are in a hospitality business. Fist they should send that young lady to hospitality school to learn how to behave and talk to guests. Lastly, the manager should also take management crisis classes. What they are doing is nothing but a joke.
