• Sepideh (8/5): - The apartment was in a great location—close to everything and easy to get around. It was clean and had everything I needed. Just a heads-up: it’s on level 3 and there’s no lift, so be prepared for some stairs
• Sherry (4/5): - If you cannot check-in before 5:30pm don’t book this property!! And I mean that in every way. The property doesn’t advertise this when you book we only received communication two weeks before checking in by then our options were limited. Most hotels on the island were rented or price has increased being so close to checking in. The message however did say that if we must checkin after 6pm then we can do so the following date in town. So we thought everything was good. Then suddenly two days before checking The management were calling and pressing us you must checkin before 6pm or we will loss a night of hotel, despite the earlier communication said there is checkin in town. The lady called and said we are closing at 6pm and you must arrive by then or The property location was great centrally located. The apartment is clean and decent size for 3 people. However, the AC is only in the living room

Apesar de não ter elevador, isso não foi considerado um problema para nós pois já sabíamos que era um edifício antigo. O apartamento é muito silencioso apesar de estar em uma região movimentada. Gostamos muito de nossa estadia e definitivamente nos hosperariamos lá novamente.

Morena, our host, was on time to give us keys and very attentive in our check in, gave us maps and recommendations for dinner. However, a big disappointment in this stay was that we could not have a hot shower in the time we were there. We asked and supposedly it takes a while to get hot, but it never warmed up. In my opinion, unacceptable in a property at this price point.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - We stayed in the property, Carmen, and overall it is a very nice place BUT the location in Venice was not the same as advertised or even on Google maps. Please be warned that it is actually in Castello and NOT close to San Marco/Rialto Bridge. Not a bad walk from the main area, especially if you don't mind walking, and less crowded of an area. Also, please make sure that they give you the correct property on check in. They tried to give us a property that was not as nice until I looked up what we booked because it did not look as nice as it did in the photos. They did fix their "mistake", but given the falsely advertised location and this mistake, I don't know how genuine the mistake was. Good communication via email. They provide a number that you apparently can contact them via WhatsApp, but we were unable to do so. Wifi is good and you can even carry the wifi box with you in order to have internet throughout Venice.

• Igor (10/5): - Once I booked the stay in a few hours I received a text msg from Morena regarding checking in. The process was super convenient as Sonya met us at the train station at a specific time and we just followed her to water bus and then the apartment therefore we didn’t have to figure out any details how to get there which is great! Apartment itself was super clean with all amenities that you possibly need including a full kitchen and appliances. We would rate a 5 in all categories but a small limitation is due to lack of Air conditioner in the main bedroom but air conditioner from the living room and a fan made it ok. The only other thing is you have to take your own trash out between 6-8am few blocks away from the apartment. Otherwise the location was ideal with 1 min walk to the Bridge and 10 min to main square. Also there are 2 supermarkets that are very near. Another huge plus is elevator in the building! I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to my family!

• Verified traveler (10/5): Fantastic apartment, great host, perfect location - My boyfriend and I were initially nervous after reading some of the reviews, and when the host did not give us the address of the apartment (google maps doesn’t work very well in Venice so she insists on meeting and taking you there). But we could not have been more wrong and have since recommended the place to our family and friends. The apartment was very clean, large (especially considering the price), and recently renovated (we stayed in 579, San Polo). The host was born in Venice and spent a good hour marking up the map for us with recommendations and booked restaurant reservations for us every night of our stay on request. She suggested what to do and when, how to book, and replied promptly on Whatsapp whenever we had any questions. The apartment was a 1-2 minute walk from the Rialto Bridge, in the heart of everything. It’s a nice quiet side street and there is even a lift (very unusual in Venice). She also let us leave our luggage after checking out and we met her before leaving Venice to pick them up. I would give this place a 10 out of 10. I could not recommend it more. Lovely bathroom, comfortable bed, your own large living room and tv, a fully equipped kitchen with a gas hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, pots/pans/cutlery and a breakfast table. The host is extremely welcoming, has a wealth of knowledge on the area/tourist activities, and is more than happy to help.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Inconsiderate Owners!!!! - All we asked was for a change of date on our booking. We know that the booking is nonrefundable, but it did not say nonrebookable. They just wanted the money and don't care about anything else.

• Xhong (10/5): Comfortable apartment, ideal for family - My husband and I with two teens had a great holiday in Venice and enjoyed the stay at the compartment very much. Morena is very nice, kind and thoughtful and always ensured that we had the correct information to avoid unnecessary troubles with transports as there were some water bus staff strikes during our stay. The private taxi arranged by Morena for my family from and to the Treviso Airport was excellent and it is an ideal arrangement for families.

Morena was very helpful and met us to show us the apartment. Issue with the WiFi was sorted promptly. Stairs and suitcases don't go together but we managed.

• melml (8/5): Ideal location for short, 4 day, trip to Venice - Management met us at the Vaporetti stop and walked us, the very short distance, to the apartment. Very friendly, helpful and thorough in showing us around. We stayed in Otello, which was a nice apartment (not luxurious, as stated) but clean and adequate. There were four of us, 2 adults, 2 teenagers, so used the sofa bed in the living room, which was fine. The very large main bed was comfortable. Air con was a life saver as it was sooooo hot whilst we were there (40*) The location was the best thing - 2 mins walk to St Marks Square, very central to everything. Very safe area with lots of shops and restaurants. The only downside was the noise from the 2 restaurants downstairs. We were tired from travelling the first night, so went to bed early (around 10pm) but the noise was so loud we couldn't settle til well after midnight when it stopped. The next nights we stayed out until later and after a couple of bottles of wine, it didn't bother us as much but worth thinking about if you're staying with younger children or like an early night!!

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great location and comfortable apartment - Venice Dream House was a nice little apartment, well-located close to the Rialto vaporetto stop and walking distance to St. Mark's. Check-in is somewhat difficult because they do not want you to know the location too far ahead of arrival, so you have to contact the manager, Morena, with your arrival time at the Rialto stop so she can meet you. The exact time is difficult to pin down, but Morena was very accommodating when we arrived 1 1/2 hours earlier than expected. The apartment itself is comfortable, though the air conditioning in the living room doesn't really reach the bedroom well. Also, the showers are INCREDIBLY small - but that's true all over Italy where they waste bathroom space with the bidet that most Americans don't use. I'd rather have the shower be twice the size. I'm a small woman and kept knocking my elbows against the shower walls. Forget shaving your legs in the shower. Wi-Fi also wasn't great - it always seemed to go out at night when I actually wanted it. May have been set that way. Otherwise, the apartment was clean and comfortable, spacious, and quiet.

• Robert (10/5): Butterfly Apartment. - Perfect location. Clean and tidy. Morena met us at the Taxi drop off point and made sure we knew all we needed to know about the apartment. She also gave us a lot of very useful information which we followed and saved a lot of time and money.
• P (6/5): great location..awful greeting by staff - we were told we were going to be met by dream homes rep at piazzle roma bus station. we arrived and waited 20 mins to then get a call that they had problem and we could take 30min walk or catch 7.50 euro ferry instead. with luggage, the heat and the many bridges and the fact we were given the wrong directions it took alot longer. we arrived 5.50 at meeting point and then had to wait for rep. when rep arrived her greeting was angry and rude. we were exhausted and she then took us on another 10 min walk and then charged us 30 euro late fee even though we were there before 6pm and had they met us this would not have happened. I felt like this may have been done deliberately.... so beware. There was no cotton sheet bedding for sofa bed and i had to sleep on a towel and the blanket was textured and itchy. we were told we would get some cotton sheets but none arrived before departing 2 nights later.

• Ali (10/5): Clean and Comfy - Great Apartment in a good location (Santa Margarita Square) with good restaurants and 15 minute walk from the central train station (Venice Santa Lucia). The apartment manager met us at the train station and walked us to the apartment. She was very helpful in pointing out all the interesting spots. San Marco square was about 20 minute walk through narrow and beautiful city streets with great history, shops and restaurants. Venice is a must see for people who like to travel We will definitely go back

• brad (10/5): in the heart of san marco, - was a very nice apartment, close to everything, was a bit tricky at the start as we did not have a working phone to call to find out where the apartment was, after a bit of wandering around had to ask a shop to call for us and the we could meet to check it, its a much better way to stay than in a hotel if you have a family i think, can cook sometimes for yourself. also get little snacks and tea and coffee for free.

The app. Was fully equipped and all is in great condition. The manager was very pleasant and helped us a lot with some car rental issues we had translating Italian for us. • Kantha (8/5): Venice Dream House it was! - Excellent location and very well priced. Beautiful apartment that was extremely comfortable. Be aware there are two flights of stairs but otherwise highly recommended!!
• Karen (10/5): Truly a Dream House - My family of 4 stayed at this apartment during our stay in Venice during a recent trip to Europe. Our stay at this apartment was definitely one of the highlights of our 5/52 trip. We were met by Sonya who took us to the apartment and was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and vibrant. She was so helpful and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Helped us arrange tours and trips and also provided excellent local knowledge about cafes and restaurants. As we were there for Christmas she generously provided a gift of local goodies to enjoy on the day. These were gifts and not additional expenses. She graciously introduced us to her sweet little dog when we mentioned we were missing our dog back home in Australia. Dog people will understand how important that is! I cannot speak highly enough of the service provided by Sonya. The apartment was clean and modern, close to Rialto Bridge and short walk to St Marks Square. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to others and would use this accommodation again on our next visit. A wonderful experience thank you so much Sonya

• Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent place - It was in a perfect spot with the vaporetto just 2 mins away and San Marco within walking distance.Wifi was excellent...The only downside if you have big luggages as u need to climb up 3 floors up the stairs to the apartment
• Stefan (10/5): December weekend break - We stayed in the 'aida' apartment on the third floor. The apartment is in the heart of venice between the Rialto bridge and St Marco - a fantastic location. The apartment has all the amenitied we need being a family of three (our daughter is a year old) - clean and well maintained. Sonia met us at the boat stop and guided us the short walk (5minutes) to the apartment. She is very knowledgeble and full of useful advice and recommendations.# We plan to stay again at the venice dream house.

• Lynn Waberzeck (10/5): Great apartment - Our stay was wonderful and the apartment was very convenient. It had everything we needed for meals, etc. very clean. It would help for location purposes to say it is right near the Rialto Bridge. We had a hard time finding it at first. Thanks!
• chris (10/5): Wow! What a great place to stay!!!! - This apartment was incredible. Right next to Rialto Bridge it was close to everything. The apartment was beautiful and they had champagne for us in the refrigerator - You won't find a better place. The people were great and helpful.
