Reception control the AC in rooms, you have to keep calling to adjust temperature or to have them turn it back on, because once it reaches the specified temperature it turns off automatically.

- Shila (7/5): Seems hotels are quite expensive in Venice but it’s worth staying on the island vs taking the train in. - Location was easy to find, close to main sights and it was clean. Lots of hot water. Staff was very helpful. We booked 2 rooms. One had a patio and was nicely decorated even if it was small. The other room was a bit bigger but was very basic with a hostel feel. Both bathrooms were very small and would be difficult for a bigger person to maneuver in.

- Frédérique (8/5): Hôtel propre,très bien situé, idéal pour découvrir Venise et proche de tout. - Chambre agréable, confortable et très propre; le personnel y est particulièrement accueillant, soucieux de votre confort et arrangeant. Chambre avec balcon donnant sur une rue passante avec restaurants et commerces; la rue s’anime dès 6h-6h30 jusqu’à 23h, minuit environ. Si vous aimez la vie, c’est parfait. Peut-être un peu bruyant en soirée et en début de nuit avec des odeurs de cigarettes dès le matin, peut-être dues à l’emplacement des restaurants juste en face. L’hôtel est certes très bien situé par rapport aux transports et aux commerces (boutiques et restaurants), notamment pour une première visite à Venise (on ne peut pas faire plus proche de la place Saint Marc), ce qui en contrepartie en fait un lieu à éviter pour les personnes en recherche de quiétude et de silence (je parle du côté qui donne sur la rue) et qui connaissent déjà bien le quartier de San Marco.

Al nostro arrivo ci sono stati dati dei suggerimenti preziosi per vedere i luoghi più interessanti. Abbiamo molto apprezzato anche la consegna della stanza un po’ in anticipo rispetto all’orario poiché era stata appena pulita e quindi disponibile. La nostra era una stanza con terrazza, che ci ha permesso di vivere la città anche dai tetti. In generale mi è sembrata anche una struttura molto pulita. Letto comodo. Ho suggerito di avvisare della presenza di diffusori antizanzare elettrici accesi poiché non tutti li tollerano, in particolare i bambini. Sarebbe stato opportuno saperlo prima di dormire in camera per poter arieggiare. Per chi fa fatica a salire le scale, la reception, come viene specificato, è al primo piano, non comodissimo se si hanno dei bagagli.

Behulpzaam en aardig , ook al ken ik de stad redelijk goed. ontbijtzaaltje heeft geen buitenruimte. Koffie is op een warmhoudplaat. Zou een cappuccino moeten zijn.

Excellent location, quiet street, well-equipped hotel, friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms. I can only recommend it! Már voltam korábban is ebben a szállodában és most, hogy a barátaimmal terveztünk utazást Velencébe, egyből ez a szállodát választottuk. Kiváló elhelyezkedés, csendes utca, jól felszerelt szálloda, kedves személyzet és tiszta, kényelmes szobák. Csak ajánlani tudom! Nothing

- Ryan (6/5): Hot rooms and too loud to open windows allows little sleep. - The property was perfectly located near many of the main attractions in Venice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and whilst not up-to-date, they are well appointed and well maintained. We were there during the spring, in generally overcast weather, but the rooms were exceptionally hot. Like a sauna. There was no way to turn the heating down, as the thermostatic valves on all of the radiators were broken. Reception advised that other guests wanted the heating on so I should open windows, but… Venice gets very active from around 4am onward with workers moving trolleys along the pavements and shouting. It’s impossible to get a good night’s sleep, which is ultimately what a hotel is there to provide.

- Sam (8/5): A great place to stay for a short trip to Venice - It’s spotlessly clean, the staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the location couldn’t be more central for exploring Venice. Being so central comes with a drawback - it can be a little noisy. But just do what my partner did (and what I forgot to do) and bring earplugs, then you should be fine.

It was the MOST expensive hotel on our 3-week holiday in Italy and turned out to be the WORST hotel we've been with. The rooms were bare and very old, with no kettle for water (much less tea) and not even air-conditioning. It got stuffy in the night so I opened the windows slightly only to have a mosquito fly in and kept me up buzzing all night.

Знаходиться в 2 хвилинах пішки від площі Сан Марко. Трохи чутно людей з сусідніх номерів, несуттєво на фоні решти переваг.

- MARIA LAURA (10/5): Amazing! - The location is unbeatable. You are in the heart of everything and still is quiet around. Nice coffee shops and bars around. A block away from the vaporetto stop. Couldn’t be better. The rooms were so clean you could eat off the floor. Staff was in general super nice and helpful but Isabella deserves a separate mention, she was amazing! All her advices were great, she adjusts to whatever language you speak to her in, she’s very efficient and she’s always smiling! No negative aspects.

- Emily (10/5): Located in the heart of Venice - We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, and the staff were helpful and service-minded throughout our visit. The private terrace overlooking the Doge’s Palace was a lovely feature and added to the overall experience. As this was part of our honeymoon, we appreciated the warm welcome we received. We would be happy to stay here again.

- Michael (9/5): Bon souvenir - Chambre confortable, spacieuse, propre et lumineuse. Personnel agréable et à l’écoute. Les oreillers mériteraient d’être de meilleure qualité pour être à la hauteur de la chambre.

- elif aslı (8/5): Kucuk detaylar haricinde guzeldi - Konum cok guzel. San Marco meydanina 5 dk yurume mesafesinde. Cok temiz, sessiz, sakin ve ferah oda. Personel guleryuzlu ve ilgili. Odalarda sise su olmali, maliyeti cok dusuk olan bir sise su turistik olan marketlerde 3 euroya satiliyor. Otelin bunu gunluk olarak odalara koymasi lazim. Odalarda sicak su isiticisi ve kahve makinesi yok. Italya, en iyi kahvenin yeri. Buna ragmen odayi birak, otelde ikram edilmesi gerekir en azindan. Fakat resepsiyondan 1 euro vererek (!) jeton alip cok eski bir ‘Nescafe’ makinesinden kahve aliyorsunuz. Bari en azindan gercek kahve olsaydi… 2026 yilinda kahvenin ulkesi olan İtalya’da boyle guzel bir otele hic yakismiyor. Yataklarda, yorgan ve nevresim yerine carsaflar arasinda battaniye kullaniliyor. Battaniyeyi ciplak sekilde gormek hijyen hissini sarsiyor, rahatsiz edici. Tamamen ortu icinde nevresime takilmali. Bu da eski-kohne bir duygu yaratiyor.

- Christopher (8/5): - It's a great location if your priority is getting there easily with luggage from the water taxis. Great location in terms of proximity to St Marks but outside the maw of tourists. That said, it is between two narrow calle and it can get loud; between late night voices (you might very well have your windows open) and the sound of carts, it can get a bit much. If you expect to sleep in, I think that would be a challenge. But the people at Trovatore are wonderful, the place is very comfortable, clean. I'd recommend. The noise I mentioned above was a distraction. The positive aspects of the place, to me, outweighed the noise issue.

- GUILLERMO (9/5): 3 días en Venecia - La ubicación es inmejorable para conocer la ciudad, las vistas desde la habitación abuhardillada, la tranquilidad y no escuchar nada (solo las campanas del campanile maravilloso) el trato por parte del persona en especial a Isabella, nos trató estupendamente desde antes de llegar, con sus recomendaciones y su ayuda.
