Guest Reviews
- Rebecca (4/5): Clean bed / tent. - Clean. Noise from the main road.
Not one bar / restaurant is open on site.
No where to buy or make a coffee.
Thank goodness it was not peak season as the tents are so close together there is no privacy.
- Rebecca (7/5): - Clean, reasonable price and walking distance to university. It’s basic .
- Liam (10/5): I wouod love to stay here again will be recommending to friends - I liked the scenery and how there was so much facilities and shop around this b and b Nothing

- Mark (9/5): - The owner provided us with a free breakfast at a local establishment. The rooms are spacious with a refrigerator and breakfast snacks, tea and coffee. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. He let us check in early with no charge! The location is perfect for access to the park and tube station at Ealing Broadway. There are plenty of shops around and taking the Elizabeth line makes the commute to downtown London a quick and easy choice. The wifi is not good. I couldn't connect the television to it in order to watch my own streaming services and 85% of the time the wifi didn't work for my phone. It would also be good to have a microwave in the room. The hot water pot was nice but the ability to heat up food would be a welcome addition.

- Alison (8/5): A lovely typical London house with a super friendly host :) - A very pleasant stay in Ealing, London.. just 20 minutes by tube to central London. Very comfortable beds and clean room. Super gentle host who let us stay longer on our day of departure which was very kind of him. The room was made after the first night and they left us a box of mince pies which were yummy :) There were also some goodies and tea/coffee for a quick breakfast before we leave for the day. Ealing is a lovely neighbourhood with a beautiful shopping mall just 5 minutes away on foot and lots of cute coffee shops and little shops. An overall lovely stay! The size of the room is a bit small for 3 people and the bathroom is also on the small side, but you can expect that in London. Apart from that there was nothing we didn't like.

- Gim Teng (9/5): - Friendly and helpful owner and good housekeeping.
Near Ealing Broadway transport and commercial area.
- Maria (10/5): Comfortable and affordable stay at this cute and cozy b&b. - Very friendly owner with fantastic service and close to the Elizabeth line. The only thing that could get better is the floor situation in the shower. Other than that everything was great. Clean beds, quiet, fresh towels, water, dryer, everything to make you feel at home.
- Dylan (6/5): Find somewhere that's more flexible and less of a hassle - Good location 10 mins to central London on the Elizabeth line. Beds comfortable although noisy when turning over. Mouldy shared bathroom that needed scrubbing with bleach (see photo), the owner made a mistake when setting up the room cost and minimum nights on booking.com and then had booking.com email me to say the rate was wrong and they have a minimum 2 night stay (rather than the one night we were able to book) so we would have to pay more money. Felt like the owner was bombarding us with emails about inflexible check in times (must be between 2-8pm but they prefer 2-5pm). However they had a cleaner there on our arrival who could easily have showed us to our room and it felt like she had no ability to do anything as the owner was over bearing. Cleaning lady ended up unlocking the room but we had to wait for the owner to bring us the key. Thankfully he never actually charged us the extra money for the incorrect rate. It's no wonder they've been on Hotel Inspector TWICE (not something to be proud of as it's usually hotels that are failing that go on the show). Sadly I didn't realise they'd been on the show until after our stay or I wouldn't have booked.
- Sergio Antonio (9/5): Lovely location for families visiting London - Great location for families visiting London and flying via Heathrow. The building is charming and unique, with a comfortable atmosphere, cozy rooms, and very kind, helpful staff. In a safe and quiet area, perfect for returning by train after enjoying London’s dinner or musicals. Some minor areas could use a little renovation, though they also add to the property’s unique charm and character. Not a problem for us, it was still a lovely stay.

- Andrzej (9/5): Polecam ten hotel. Super miejsce jako baza wypadowa - Bardzo blisko do stacji metra, przystanku autobusowego i parku. Pokój codziennie sprzątany, ręczniki wymieniane. Małe śniadanie w pokoju (m.in. mleko, płatki, croissanty, pierniki, itp). W lodówce zawsze butelka wody. Herbata, kawa, czajnik w pokoju.
Największy minus to zapach stęchlizny.
- Magdalena (8/5): Overall nice hotel - Nice, family friendly hotel, bit outdated, but comfy, room cleaned everyday, little extras in room, like coffee, milk, cereals which was a bonus. Great location and well kept grounds Small shower and poor lighting in bathroom
- Claudia (8/5): We loved it. Very good for our family for the beautiful garden and character of the house. - Location, the garden, the staff, character of the property.
- Rodrigo (10/5): -
- Alma (8/5): Overall a good experience - Very nice location, wonderful garden and amazing staff. The owner was very helpful and available for -simple- changes on short notice. It was a bit loud at night, from the road, and very hot. Although it was the top floor in the summer, and you could partially open the windows, it was still hard to sleep well.
- Lynsey (10/5): Great! Easy location and wonderful hosts - Lovely family running the place, exactly what I expected for the price, except the beautiful garden was more than what I expected! With shared toilets and showers it's not a luxury stay, but we just needed a comfortable, affordable, and safe place to lay our heads after long days in London so it was perfect. The location was super convenient for getting around the city, very close to a major tube station, but far out enough from central London that we weren't feeling overwhelmed by a crush of people when we left for the day. Lots of coffee shops, food, and groceries within a few blocks, and the building itself is extremely charming from the outside. It's an old building in Britain with limited ventilation during a heat wave so things can get really stuffy, but that was not exactly a surprise. We bought a few small fans from a local Poundland for the room which helped a lot. My only comment would be we tried to close the shades to keep the sun from heating up the place while we were out but came home every day to the shades wide open, so cooling the room after that greenhouse effect all day took some doing. However, I know these 30 ˚+ temperatures are not typical for the UK — coming from consistently warmer summer climes we have different habits to keep our spaces cool, including keeping rooms dark.
- Aneta (9/5): Superb - Cute house and garden, lovely staff, great location. Ealing Broadway station is very nearby.
- Miriam (10/5): Wonderful stay at Caspian Hotel! - Wonderful host. Clean and spacious room. Lots of extra touches - milk, coffee, tea etc.
Fantastic location!
- Marek (10/5): Exceptional - Very pleasant and helpful owner. Clean and cosy apartment. Safe neighbourhood. Fast and easy connection by metro to the airport and the city centre. Nothing to complain about.
- Stacy (9/5): Beautiful stay! - The building itself is so pretty, especially the garden in the front! It’s very close to the tube so you can walk to it in 6 minutes. The town itself is so cute and there are numerous restaurants and shops to go to again within a 6 minute walk. The neighborhood is so cute!
The room itself had plenty of towels, bathroom amenities, a fan, some breakfast snacks, a mini fridge, as well as bowls and mugs. A kettle too with tea and hot cocoa!
We were also able to leave our bags after checkout so we didn’t have to carry them all day which was super appreciated. I don’t think there was anything we didn’t like! You’re not right in the city center but that’s the reason it’s not as expensive. Just be prepared to take the tube for a while to see main sites.
- Hyndman (8/5): An Eccentric Delight - The Caspian was a very welcoming experience made better by the friendly team who were always engaging and helpful. The character and style of the building added greatly to our stay. Personally, we liked everything. I know some visitors have complained about creaky floorboards, noisy pipes and such, but don't be put off. It's an old building with lots of eccentric personality.
- Stanley (7/5): Everything was perfectly nice and met my expectations. I will stay there again. -
- Ben (9/5): Character building in an excellent location, with friendly staff - Superb location right opposite Ealing Broadway station, made it easy to get anywhere in London in no time. The building itself is old and full of character, and the manager was friendly and helpful. To make up for the lack of in-house breakfast, a selection of cereals and pastries was provided. While still clean and functional, the building is in need of a refresh - this is acknowledged in the joining docs and in some ways contributes to its character. However the door locks are rather flimsy and I worried they might not resist a strong shoulder.
- Jack (7/5): Other guest is a problem - Gave us a free room upgrade after we had issues with a long term stay at the hotel. Had a free breakfast voucher and the hotel staff and the boss were helpful. There is a long term stay, a couple who resides at the hotel. They leave their door open with the TV on very loudly till 2-3am every night. There was shared toilet upstairs that should only be used between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m per the hotel guidelines, but each night, the long-term stay at the hotel used it multiple times past midnight (every hour from 11pm to 3/4am), waking us up many times. I reminded the long term stay about the guidelines, but he didn't apologise, and continued his use of the toilet during the restricted hours.
The next night at about 1am, someone tried to go into our room. I saw the doorknob turn. Luckily I had the door locked, but I was uneasy and stayed awake the whole night. I told the hotel boss the next morning and asked him to check CCTV footage, and the boss apologized and upgraded our rooms for free, which was very kind. He said he didn't know who would've tried going to our room.
The next day, the long term stay confronted me saying that it was him that tried going into our room to "check" that the rooms were locked, as a "security" measure. Later that day the hotel boss confirmed that the long term stay was doing him a favour by acting as security.
Overall, this place would be a 9 or 10 out of 10 once the long term stay has moved out. The hotel staff and the boss were helpful.
- Ingrida (10/5): Great stay at Caspian Hotel. Location, only few stops with Elisabeth line to London centre. - Great stay at Caspian Hotel. Location, only few stops with Elisabeth line to London centre. Many good cafe for breakfast/luch/dinner. Shoping centre Ealing Broadway was fantastic offer. Hotel wonderful! Clean, with coffe/tee/snacks. Thanks for hospitality!
- Ben (3/5): Caspian - Location is amazing. The room and particularly bathroom was terrible. The whole hotel is a bit run down and scruffy. The family room is as basic as it gets, not particularly pleasant and definitely not worthy of £175 a night. There are no facilities available I.e. lounge or seating/eating area.
- Joseph (9/5): Superb - travelled for 2 nights with group of friends for game at wembley, location great, staff pleasant and great value for money
- Carolina (8/5): Very good -
- Ming (9/5): Superb -
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Lisbet (8/5): Fantastic location in the middle of London - I just love the place! The owner is lovely and Ill soon be back!

- Peter (8/5): Great value and location for easy travel I to central London, Ealing Abbey and Chiswick - The location and price. The bed was very comfortable, and the sheets and towels crisp and clean. Iron, ironing board, hairdryer, fridge and kettle all included. Very friendly and helpful staff. Shower area (grouting) was mouldy and needed refurbishment. But all working and basically clean.
- Marta (8/5): Very good -
- Bryan (5/5): Decent budget accoms - Maybe the most affordable hotel in the area Very difficult communication-wise
- Sandra (5/5): Ok for what I needed - Close to railway station Didn't get answer at door someone else staying there let me in
- Rogelio (10/5): Confortable - Very clean and the personal is very friendly, they are always there to help.
- Ahmed (7/5): Good property not for July - The propery is a small family business, the owner is great and very helpful, staff are nice and very supportive.
Twoles, toilets rolls, drinking water and small snaks are available anytime.
Location is great, just walking distance to Ealing broadway station and many bus routes are running around the location, many shops & restaurants around the place, central Londonis only 13 minutes on the Elizabeth line. The room was said to be quadruple but in fact is small and barely fits three guests. May be better removing one bed to leave more room.
The shower is very small for adult size and the one need to be careful not to break the shoer or the doorglass. Toilet seat is not fresh and discoloured from beneath and smelly.
The room was really hot with no AC facility we were given an extra fan but wasnt enough and because we need to leave the windows open the trafica noise is all in the room.
Seems that during our stay the property is taken by single guests, the next room door is left open during the night with music playing all night
- Mark (10/5): Far better than we expected - 10 mins off the M4. Right in the middle of Ealing with private parking. Friendly and accommodating staff. Clean comfortable room with a proper fridge. Excellent Nothing
- Glenn (6/5): Pleasant -
- Veigendová (9/5): Superb - Nice And helpful staff, old, but nice building. Rooms equipped with a Kettle, Tea, coffee provided with cakes and cornflakes, milk for breakfast. A little bit shabby toilet And bathroom. But clean.
- Azarchs (8/5): Excellent value for a hotel so close to the tube - There is no longer any breakfast at this hotel. They did give us a voucher for one breakfast (on a three night stay) at a nearby cafe, but we did not end up using it. Mostly, I would have liked better communication as to what was on offer. Management went out of its way to make sure we knew the room had no ensuite bathroom, which I appreciate. But they were much less open about the fact that breakfast service has been off since the pandemic, or that parking came with a hefty fee. These are minor things that would not have pushed me to reserve elsewhere, but they were unpleasant surprises. Also, our room (the front room on the ground floor) had extremely poor lighting.
- Oksana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shirley (10/5): Exceptional - The location to our conference was great. The room was very clean, good cozy bed and breakfast tray was filled each day. Hostbwas brilliant and very helpful. Got us even bathroom slippers. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast Nothing
- Lydia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sena (9/5): everything okay, good for the price - -nice soft clean bed
-near the train/bus station
-there was breakfast food for free :)
- Oliveira (9/5): Lovely place with really kind staff. - The staff were lovely. They welcomed us in and were very kind, offering us help at any time if needed, even to find anything we needed in the neighbourhood. The facilities were lovely as well. It’s an older building but the owners understand that this isn’t for everyone so they make that clear from the very start to ensure that their guests are comfortable with the facilities before arriving. We were more than happy with it and were not bothered at all, had absolutely no issues when staying there. We came back to a tidied room every night, with breakfast prepared for the next day and even refills for water in the fridge. The location was perfect for us. It was exactly centred between Wembley where we had a concert and central London so we could explore around with our visiting friend. Bonus: there’s plenty of transport services around which was ideal for us, lots of food places and things to do! The staff also ensured we were aware that they aren’t located in central London from the moment we booked our stay as people tend to get it confused and end up staying further away from where they intended. Was not an issue for us at all. Everything was made clear through good communication even before our stay!
- Ran (3/5): Poor - FYI: this is more of a hostel than a hotel.
THE GOOD: The person who runs the place is an incredibly, super nice, friendly, hospitable man. It was a pleasure to meet him. Location is great, a few mins walk from Ealing Broadway station.
While I paid for 2 nights, I checked out after one (paid for both) because it was unpleasant - see below this is more of a hostel than a hotel. While the in the pictures it looks neat:
1. The room wasn't very clean, sheets had a few minor stains, and found a used tissue on the floor
2. Shower was clean-ish, it needs better maintenance as there's some rust
3. The room had a smell that stuck to my clothes, unpleasant smell of something old, it's not strong but it gets you after spending some time in the room
4. I got a ground floor room, people were talking loud outside my door or arguing about shower. Also noise from the road outside are loud
- A (10/5): Exceptional - Cozy bed and breakfast with great staff. They made us feel at home from the first minute. The dollhouse music store is absolutely gorgeous. Nothing.
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Sonja (9/5): Superb -
- Roy (8/5): Great room, friendly owner. Shane about breakfast - The owner was friendly and helpful. The room was a great size. Perfect for a family of 5, which in my experience is rare. There was cereal in the room and a fridge, but no bowls to eat from! We did get a breakfast voucher for a local cafe, which was kind of the owner, but the cafe, Chantal, was terrible. See my review. Dear Caspian, please disassociate yourselves from this awful place!
- Aleksandra (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly hosts! Room for 5 people, big. Otherwise, all the furniture is worn out, but still comfortable. We had our own bathroom, hot water, dining table and refrigerator in the room. And despite the fact that there are no more breakfasts, they make a great effort and you have everything available in your room for tea or coffee, milk, muesli, croissants, cookies, water. You also get a voucher for English breakfast in the area (decent breakfast). The surroundings are quite calm 😊
- Chaleena (8/5): Very good -
- Leslaw77 (9/5): Nice vacation in Ealing Broadway - Very good contact with host. Additional 1 breakafst for everybody in the nearest restaurant. Additional sweets
everyday without any cost. Hotel with typical English atmosphere. Nice view from the window and perfect localization.
- Rebecca (7/5): Good - Comfortable and well located
- Brendan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashref (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bara (9/5): Superb - The location is great and the accommodation is well equiped and suitable if you need a hot shower and a comfortable bed after spending the day wandering in the streets of London.
- Xiaoshi (6/5): Pleasant - -Location is top, very convenient to everywhere.
-The owner relies quickly, and try to fulfill our needs. A nice person.
-Room was cleaned everyday
-Fresh milk with some simple breakfast
-Price is really good in London, short stay is okay. The first night we stayed in a shared bathroom room, it was very stinky, but luckily we are able to change to another room that smells much better. But this time the room is quite cold (though he do provide a little heating fan) and no sound proof. You can clearly hear your upstair neighbor.
- Mg (5/5): Passable -
- Mari (10/5): interesting - The room was cute.It was very convenient as it was close to the station and shops. Nothing special .
- Lucas (10/5): Simply a great place - Great place close to a lot of ammenties and shops with great connection to the rest of the london with nearby tube station and bus stations. Great staff making sure you feel welcome and comfy all the time, really going above and beyond to make you feel special.
- Jane (7/5): Great rate for West London stays - with separate kids’ beds in family rooms - The location in Outer/West London really is excellent - 2 minutes walk from Ealing Broadway station and the Elizabeth underground line - so around 20-30 minutes on the tube to get to most attractions. Big room with separate single beds for the kids, some noise from traffic but not much as it’s slightly set back from the main road. Great rate for parking. The en-suite was quite small and dated and the shower controls were a bit temperamental. If you’re looking for a modern Premier Inn type place this isn’t it - it’s a period building and some things need a certain technique to work eg shower, TV. But these were very minor issues for us as the beds, room and location were ideal for our purposes, at a great rate too.
- Neil (6/5): Pleasant - Lovely owner and staff and clean and comfortable It was advertised with lounge/breakfast room which was not Available which caused significant problems and very strong cooking smells on second floor, I felt it was expensive and we got a whole apartment for less in central london
- Fran (9/5): Great option for an affordable family stay in the capital. - Lovely friendly welcome and staff were very accommodating. The doll museum is unique. Great location and short stroll from the tube and various cafes.
- Bence (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anat (10/5): Very good - The host is very friendly and welcoming. The location is the best 2 min walk from Ealing Broadway station. The room is clean and nice.
- Lola (9/5): Superb -
- Frank (8/5): Very good - Very close to rail and shops.
Host was very friendly and helpful to all our requests. Shower was a little difficult to work out to achieve a constant flow of hot water.
- Georges (5/5): Excellent for the location and the confort of the bed - The beds are confortable and the location is excellent. There was flexibility to adapt the booking 1. Lack of a "proper reception", repaced by very many text message updates. Feels like an AirBnB booking and not a hotel!
2. Overpriced for the standards you get!
- Kathy (8/5): Very good -
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good - The room was spacious and very clean. Everything we needed for a continental breakfast was provided each day, including a voucher for an English breakfast one of the mornings of our stay. The owner was extremely helpful. Very little cupboard/drawer space for our things
A bit noisy (traffic) as the window was not double-glazed
- Michael (9/5): Will stay again. Recommended to my work colleagues at UWL 👍 - Location great and room comfortable. Water provided daily in fridge as well as pastries and hot drink facilities Everything great
- Kaden (8/5): Very good - Staff were friendly, the little tea and cereal that was provided in the room was a nice addition, the toilet and shower were clean despite it being shared. Beds were comfortable. Room was heated in the evening so didn’t feel the cold at all. Overall very satisfying experience, would highly recommend if you want a London trip to explore Soho area/Gallery/Museum or just that area of London as the Elizabeth line is 4 minute walk away from hotel. Ealing was also lovely the town was cute lots of places to eat. The front door lock was a bit stiff and hard to unlock, took me quite some time on more than one occasion, could probably do with a replacement. Bathroom door on the first floor could do with some WD40, it was really squeaky and I feared I was waking up the entire hotel anytime I used it :’)
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matilda (9/5): Superb -
- Ojer (10/5): Exceptional - The location is great, close to the shops and the Underground station. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the accommodations were nice and clean, just as described. Really enjoyed my stay there.
- Aziz (2/5): Very poor - Nice price I don't know why does the manager started a religious lesson with me. So, as a customer, I don't care about your Baha’i religion. I was so disappointed because of that. Besides telling me that Islam aint correct etc., if you want, go to uni or Islamic scholars and say that, not to a customer!😂
- Luisa (10/5): Exceptional - Staff was amazing, the host was super kind and he was one of those hosts who really worries about the comfort and happiness of the clients. Bed was comfortable, toilet and everything overall was always clean. The house feels cozy and the location is super safe and really close to Elizabeth line underground station and Ealing Broadway. Everything overall was perfect and I would definitely stay there again.
- Rie (7/5): Relative’s home - It’s a great location. 5 minutes walk from the station. There are many kinds of restaurants and cafes. The owner is very friendly and kind.
My room was in front of lovely garden. I really relaxed very well. The bathroom gets flooded when I take a shower.
- Ewan (10/5): Great location, would stay again - Really accommodating host, upgraded my room and easy parking. Great location The tv was broken but I didn’t one!
- Mihaela (10/5): Exceptional - The owner is very nice. We felt very welcomed and safe. The rooms are very clean. We will recomend this stay to our friend, when they visit London. Thank you!
