- Ionela Pichiu (7/5): Athens omonia - Close to the city center, you can try and explore the marjet near by, close to the metro station, especially if you are going to the airport, metro station si 4 minutes away from the hotel. They clean and change the towels every day. You have like a small balcony. Friendly stuff. If you arrived later there is a pastery open 24 h that you can buy from. No hot water in the morning. If you don't have a hairdryer in the room you need to ask reception. I am giving such low score because of the water, it happend in 2 different mornings not to have hot water. The shower is different, the bathroom very small. The rooms could use some paint.

- Imanol (1/5): No recomendable - La ubicación En general nos llevamos mucha decepción, las instalaciones están muy viejas y mal cuidadas. El ascensor da mucho respeto por su estado, y subiendo las escaleras la sensación era que se pegan los zapatos. En cuanto la habitación... es de hace 60 años por lo menos. La ducha es muy pequeña, no te puedes dar la vuelta y si te descuidas con la cortina, el agua llega hasta la habitación, las baldosas rotas, el agua caliente por la mañana no llega bien etc. En general, muy sucio y viejo. Respecto al colchón, dormimos una única noche y muy incómodos. Los muelles se clavan y el descanso fue pésimo. Las ventanas no insonorizan nada del ruido exterior, y con el tráfico que hay es como dormir a pie de calle. El servicio de habitaciones, nada, nos estiro un poco la manta sin poner ni siquiera la sabana bien. Por la mañana, nos encontramos al personal del hotel fumando en la recepción, justo al lado del comedor de los desayunos. El próximo día cogimos otro hotel y cambiamos de estancia. Lo sentimos, pero es lo que vivimos. Comentar que las fotos de Booking no reflejan el estado actual (ni el olor, ni la mala sensación), y ha sido una gran decepcion. Recomendamos buscar otra cosa mejor.

- Nicholas (7/5): - As I said in my review in 2019, it's very simple and a bit shabby (like most hotels in Athens) but perfectly adequate for a short stay. The staff are very pleasant. It's hard to shower without flooding the bathroom but that's common in Greece. The area is still sleazy but (in my experience) not dangerous..Most hotels in Athens are in this area.

- Akira (8/5): アテネの中心地で快適な宿泊 - 今回は、夜行バスでアルバニアを目指すため、徒歩で国際バスを運行している会社まで行けるエリアに宿泊しました。 空港からオモニア広場まで来て、ほぼ迷うことなくたどり着きました。 チェックインもスムーズで、特に問題はありませんでした。 部屋は明るいですし、広かったです。 シャワーのお湯もすぐに出ますし、エアコンもあり、快適でした。 この付近が物騒というウワサは聞いていますが、表通りを歩く分には何ら問題はありませんでした。（夜も） チェックアウト後、無料で荷物も預かっていただけました。 あえて言うならば、禁煙室のはずなのになぜか灰皿が置かれていました。（タバコ臭くはありませんでした。） シャワーヘッドから、少しお湯が漏れているくらいでしょうか。 人によっては、部屋にテレビがないのが困るかもしれません。

- Rebecca (1/5): I would not recommend this hotel - the location and the cost was the only good thing about the booking The room was too tiny. The bathroom/toilet were super tiny. The shower was directly opposit the toilet seat, essentially resulting in you knocking into the toilet while having a shower. The toilet lid was broken, it kept dropping on you while using the toilet. The cleanliness wasn't great, bins were being emptied after 3 days and the room was being cleaned after 3 day. The bedding wasn't changed at all during our stay. We actually cut short our stay (and not even bother for a refund from the hotel) and found another place to spend the rest of our holiday. The breakfast was cold every morning. Their were flies in the breakfast area.

- Mikkel (8/5): Godt, billigt hotel til et kort ophold - Vi bookede et værelse på forhånd, da vi egentlig bare skulle tilbringe en halv dag i Athen, og have et sted at overnatte og have vores baggage. Kort efter vi havde checket ind, begyndte en stor tordenstorm og skybrud, og kort efter var der strømafbrydelse på vores etage. Vi sagde det til receptionisten, som ville fixe det mens vi var ude at spise. Da vi kom tilbage var strømmen fixet. Men så fandt vi ud af at det eksterne badeværelses toilets vand løb, og man ikke kunne skylle det ud. Vi sagde det til receptionisten, som ville fixe det mens vi gik ud igen. Da vi kom tilbage, sagde den nye receptionist at vi havde fået opgraderet vores værelse, nu med eget toilet der virkede. Vi kvitterede med at give drikkepenge med de beskedne sidste 5€ vi havde i kontanter. Receptionisten ville ikke tage imod først, men vi insisterede. Da vi spurgte om der var et sted tæt på hvor man kunne købe vand, gav receptionisten os to flasker vand, samt to kolde dåseøl på sin egen regning. Personalet var super flinke og hjælpsomme da der opstod problemer. Værelserne var udemærket til prisen, lagener og håndklæder var rene, og der var shampoo og sæbe. Helt udemærket sted til prisen ved et kort visit.

- Acropolis (8/5): Hard-boiled - An interesting downtown hotel with a hard-boiled atmosphere. A conscientious hotel with good service. Unfortunately, in the Plaka district, or rather in Athens, there are some hotels that collude with cab drivers and take profits from them, but this hotel does a good job and is free from such corrupt ethics.The location of the hotel is in Omonia, so your evaluation will depend on whether or not you can accept the feeling of abandonment, but this is a pleasant hotel. It is not a luxury hotel, of course, but it is solid. If you choose a room with no outside light, it is very dark, so the city side is better.

Yhdestä sängyistä hajosi osittain pohja. Meidät ryöstettiin hotellin edessä, mutta respan työntekijä ei auttanut mitenkään vaan käski lopettaa itkemisen ja käyttäytymymään hotellin aulassa. Viimeisenä aamuna respaan oli tullut uusi ihminen, joka oli auttavainen ja ystävällinen. Hänen takiaan annamme yhden pisteen.

- Nevine (10/5): Perfect Stay - The Elite Hotel is in a perfect location; just 3 minute walk to Omonia metro station. The room is very clean. The receptionist, Mr Gewrgios Armatas is one of the best. He helped me a lot as my passport and all my money were stolen on the same day of arrival. He assisted me a lot, he called the police for me to tell me what to do next. He even gave me some money to buy food until one of my friends sent me some money on his own account. Mr Gewrgios went all the way to the nearest ATM to withdraw the money and gave it to me. Also, Mr Costas, the other receptionist, was great as well. He helped me to print -for free- some of the documents required to issue the travel document to go back to my country. Honestly both of them were super. Thanks a million Mr Gewrgios and Mr Costas. Definitely I'll stay in Elite Hotel every time I come to Athens. Nothing
- Bentley (8/5): - I think some people might rate this place lower than I did. But as a solo male traveler, I don't need much. This place served my minimal needs. Some things worth noting that I did not know ahead of time: This hotel is in a somewhat run down part of town. Lots of graffiti, beggars and metal bars on shops. I asked the front desk attendant about my boundary conditions and he said after dark, on the nonmajor side streets maybe it is not so safe but during the day, main streets it is fine. I never had any trouble, but I followed his advice. It is a very short walk to the metro subway station at the Omonia square so very convenient. However, outside of the square, there are very few restaurant or bar type resources. But, only a couple of metro stops to Syntagma square where there are many options and a connection to the airport and one more stop to Acropolis station where the Acopolis, Agora, the Agora Museum, Acopolis Museum and National Archaeological Museums are.

- Adam (6/5): - The Elite Hotel Athens is an excellent choice if you want to stay away from the tourist areas of Athens. It is in Psiri and Omonia Square is several blocks away. This is where workaday Athenians are mostly seen and heard along with a bit of what you’d see deeper into the Omonia area. There are lots of cafes, small restaurants, shops, & pharmacies. The Elite is situated within 20-30 minutes walking distance of the main attractions in any direction, but Omonia metro is the closest station and is the main transfer hub for the entire metro. The hotel’s facilities are adequate. There’s nothing fancy. But you’ll receive daily housekeeping if you want it, and there’s a breakfast option you can pre-purchase. They are extremely accommodating and will even prepare a small plate of food for you earlier if you need to eat before the breakfast is available. The only thing to note is it isn’t a restaurant, and the breakfast is only for guests who have pre-purchased the option, the offering is limited to just a few items. The guys at the front desk are incredibly kind and they can answer any question you might have. The elevator is small and typical of this era of building, fitting 2 persons at a time. The stairs are steep but make for a good workout! I do recommend a white noise app on your phone, the sounds from the street outside can be noticeable and the noises echo through the hotel sometimes too, which is expected on a busy street.
