- Lamar (9/5): Very pleasant experience. - The hotel was very nice, clean, and close to the tram station. The breakfast was excellent and was served in a quiet restaurant with a beautiful view. The staff were friendly and polite. There is only one elevator in the building.

Это не вина отеля, но хотелось бы заметить, что круиз по Босфору который нам порекомендовали на ресепшене - стал худшим опытом в моей жизни. Хотелось бы чтоб отель не сотрудничал с сомнительными компаниями, так как подобное может повлиять на репутацию. Всего наилучшего!

Мы жили на 6 этаже и нам с самого утра было слышно как на 7 этаже идёт приготовления к завтраку .Шум мне мешал спать и я просыпалась .

Местоположението е отлично, близо до забележителности, пазари, ресторанти и магазини. Персонала е много любезен и усмихнат. Стаите са след ремонт, удобни и чисти. Закуската е богата с прекрасна гледка от терасата към морето. Горещо препоръчваме. няма такова

- Tramp08 (6/5): Not a 4-Star Hotel but great breakfast - The location is busy business area, uphill walk to a tram. There is a fun area for many outdoor restaurants close by. Skalion Hotel is listed as a 4 star hotel, but it definitely didn't live up to being a 4* place. Rooms were small and there were nothing special about furnishings, mediocre. In some of the rooms air-conditioning wasn't working. A front desk man didn't have very helpful attitude. You can buy beers from the front desk and sit in a small lobby. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Very big spread of all sort of middle eastern sauces and stuff. The breakfast room was also pleasant with outdoor and indoor seating. Istanbul is amazing! We liked very much visiting Istanbul.

- Ian (9/5): We had a great trip which was enhanced by the Skalion Hotel and staff - The hotel was in east reach of the main attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Sophia Hagia and the Basilica Cisterns. However the walk would not be suitable for a wheelchair os a person with walking difficulties. The bedroom had great blackout curtains making it easy to sleep and a separate sitting room as big as the bedroom The stall were very friendly and willing to answer any queries. Overall the stay was great but if I had to find a fault, which is difficult, the bathroom could have been a bit bigger. However, this did not deminish our enjoyment.

Communicatie met het personeel was soms moeilijk. Spraken geen Engels en zo kon je moeilijk iets duidelijk maken.

- Mykhailo (7/5): What could be an incredible value 3*A hotel is marketed as 4* and it makes it just average. - Good kitchen. We had good breakfasts and once had dinner, and it was very good. The views from the terrace are gorgeous. Checking in and out is smooth. TBH all of this is minor inconvenience but it does accumulate. Shampoo is horrible and required the conditioner (which was provided in limited quantity) - or just buy something in the shop nearby. We had problems with "hot" water being lukewarm at some moment but they fixed it. Wifi glitched out one day but they also fixed it. The views from the windows were very poor in our room. The pillows are subpar, it's on the level of 2* Pisa hostel I stayed at.

- WALID (10/5): - The staff greeted me with genuine warmth and professionalism especially Mariem. They were always available and attentive. Their kindness really made me feel at home. The room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was an absolute delight. Overall, my experience at this hotel was exceptional. The combination of comfort, excellent service and authentic hospitality makes it a true gem. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

- Alexa (8/5): Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, vor allem wegen der Hilfsbereitschaft der Beschäftigten - Das Zimmer war groß und geräumig mit einem Wintergarten und begehbaren Schrank Das Frühstück war vielseitig, hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt und war sehr schön dekoriert Zentrale Lage, die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar Das Zimmer lag direkt neben dem Aufzug, was in der Nacht störend war
- Eva (7/5): Ik had er meer van verwacht - De centrale ligging, comfortabele bedden Onze eerste kamer was een kamer met een aanpalende kamer. Dit was dus eigenlijk een familiekamer waarvan ze de binnendeur hadden afgesloten. Er zat ook een gast in de andere kamer. Ik vond dit niet ok en toen kregen we een andere kamer. Deze was beter voor ons, echter was deze kamer niet voor grote mensen uitgerust. Wij zijn beide maar 1,65m maar mensen die 1,75m of groter zijn kunnen hun hoofd stoten bij het binnengaan, kunnen niet op het toilet zitten omdat de wastafel in de weg staat, kunnen niet hun tanden poetsen zonder zich te bukken. Ook ging er een airco onder ons raam buiten wat heel veel lawaai maakte, gelukkig hadden we oordoppen mee.

- Olga (9/5): - Hotel is pleasantly situated not far from all places of interest and surrounded by an abundance of restaurants ans shops. Even though area is always busy, the hotels terrace offers space to run away from the external noise and also offers a pleasant view. The staff were all very helpful and professional. Breakfast was full of choise and fresh produce.

Location is excellent - close to the tram and old city. Comfortable beds - rooms clean and tidy. Free upgrade - staff were very accommodating. Smell in the bathroom. One room with no window.
- Pavel Florin (7/5): Nice hotel but could improve the bathroom appearance and ventilation. - The stuff from thew hotel is very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. The smell of the bathrooms. The size of the rooms, low ceiling everywhere. The breakfast is rich, but it was low on proteins (mostly eggs). The coffee from coffeemachine was not so good, the expresso from the bar a little better. The guy who was a host from the breakfast was speaking loud with the stuff, it was bothering for all the tourists, who didn't drink their coffee yet and trying to smoothly start a new day, to hear someone nagging loudly around with the other staff people. Some quiet peacefully atmosphere would be nice at breakfast, and not the loudly fuss from bazar atmosphere. For SPA there is extra charge, sauna as well.
