• neil (10/5): - Hotel Ventura / Philia was surprisingly good 3 star budget hotel near termini . The room was spacious for a solo traveller ( so it’s the room in Expedia with one large queen bed and one single bed ) , air conditioned ( the unit is at the window and not the one over the entrance door ) . Staff were nice , very good at English especially the lady with curly hair . It is convenient to termini for the airport bus , you can walk to the forum and colleseum or you can get the metro to the Vatican at termini . Very surprised . Very pleased . Very happy !

Les plus : - bonne situation proche gare et restaurant - au calme - réception ouverte en permanence - bouilloire disponible dans la chambre Les moins : - une seule chaise disponible, une seconde serait plus adaptée - réception difficile à trouver. En fait, l’adresse dispose de plusieurs hôtels et l’accueil de l’hôtel Ventura se trouve au RDC , qui est géré par l’hôtel PHILIA.

• David (6/5): - La zona no es la más limpia y cuando llegas puede hacerte dudar un poco, una vez llegas también es un poco confuso pero la recepción es 24 horas y eso es bueno, el personal es amable e intenta ayudar en cualquier duda. La habitación aunque se ve que es un edificio viejo está limpia al igual que el baño. Lo único que no me gusto fue que teníamos que dejar la llave cada que salíamos ya que me daba un poco de inseguridad. La ubicación buena ya que estás cerca de la estación y está bien conectada con el resto de la ciudad.

• sharon (6/5): - Expedia canceled our hotel stay at Hotel Napoleon in Rome Italy without warning, an offer for another solution, and last minute 2 pre booked rooms for September 27 to 28. We had no other option so that said it worked. Expedia is a problem vendor
• Camilla S (6/5): Ok. - Rommet var rent og flott. Entreen og gangene var ikke det. Vi hadde også store problemer å komme oss inn i rett fløy da vi fikk beskjed å ringe på knappen men der var flere knapper og ikke merket. Betjening var ok. Beliggenhet var grei for oss, veldig nært termini og gåavstand til severdgheter vi ville oppleve Maten i området var overpriset og ikke mer positivt si enn det var mettende. Annet enn bakeri/cafe vis a vis terminalen. Så for middag dra andre steder. Obs trappetrinn opp til lobyen (8-10 stykker) . Derfra er det heis tilgjengelig men du kan oppleve å vente 30 min på den.

En revanche, le personnel s’est y finalement montré aimable et nous a dépannés en nous aidant activement sans nos problèmes de col de carte d’identité, intervenu dans le métro dr Rome.
• Jean-Michel (4/5): A éviter - Ménage fait à 16h l'AM. Climatisation ne fonctionne pas. Problème d'eau chaude. Problème de chasse d'eau. Bruyant la nuit. Personnel peu aimable, notamment le responsable. Pas de petits dejeuners contrairement à ce qui est noté. En revanche, bonne situation géographique.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - A little confusing to find. Hotel goes by 2names. Hotel Philia and Hotel Ventura Rome. There is someone at the desk 24/7. Hotels.com said breakfast was included. They do NOT offer breakfast. Their elevator was not working from ground floor to floor 1. Location is ok for access to Roma Termini station.
• Caitlin (6/5): - Rude hotel staff watched me struggle into the door. Despite offering aircon and airport transfer on website there wasn’t anything. Rooms and bathroom modern. Pity it didn’t extend to the door as the lock was not secure. If it were anywhere else for $300 a night it is overpriced

• Verified traveler (4/5): Scarsissimo - Avevo letto alcune recensioni negative su questo albergo ma non facendomi condizionare ho prenotato lo stesso per la vicino posizione alla Stazione Termini. Ho pensato comunque è un 3 stelle e quindi l'albergo deve rispettare alcune basilari condizioni affinché rispettassero la categoria assegnata ma appena sono arrivato ho capito subito che tutto questo non era possibile. Innanzitutto l'albergo è inserito in un palazzo con altri alberghi (cosa stranissima) e la reception è comune con un'altro albergo (Philia). La ragazza alla reception gentile ma la stanza assegnata era indecente. Piccola, puzza di fogna, tendina nella doccia, televisione con un solo canale disponibile. Insomma la camera non rispettava la categoria delle 3 stelle. Inoltre, lasciando la camera l'indomani mattina all'alba, la signorina dell'albergo mi aveva detto che potevo lasciare la chiave alla reception vigilata 24 ore. Vi posso assicurare che l'albergo è alla mercé di tutti in quanto la notte non c'è nessuno ed e' tutto aperto (pericolosissimo per delinguenti, tossicodipendenti etc. Quindi essendoci alberghi migliori in zona, se potete evitatelo.

• ricardo (4/5): - No creó q vuelva, la entrada era a la 1 y nos hicieron esperar hasta las 2 porque no tenían la habitacion disponible, habitacion sucia ,ducha con mosquitos, el aire acondicionado soltaba polvo de lo sucio q estaba, una noche q llegamos al hotel nos dejaron más de 1 hora fuera NO HABÍA NADIE EN RECEPCIÓN, habitacion muy desagradable

• aW (6/5): Just spend the night. - Well located about 5 minutes from Termini and places to eat. Main street turns into a market in the mornings. Typical european breakfast. Bathroom size ok against other hotels in Rome.
• Joshua (8/5): - Nice size room. A walk away from the train station and metro. Breakfast doe's not have a big selection. Good choice for the traveler that wants to see the city and not spend much time in the room.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Take your own furniture with you and be careful! - The first room we were offered was dirty, the floor stainy and the bedhead covered by a disgustingly thick layer of dust. The new room we demanded was somewhat better, however, it had almost no storage space. Atop the shower wall we found our predecessors' empty bags of bodywash. We left them untouched. Room service never noticed them. The only storage space in the bathroom was the sink itself and a rusty nail in the wall were we could hang our washbags using a rope we had with us. The toilet paper had to be put on the sink when the toilet was used and had to be removed then because the water tap always leaked on the sink as the tap aerator was missing. We learned that by moist toilet paper. After first room service the room had an ugly smell. We then saw the room service doing his job with a bucket of extremely dirty water. So this is where the smell came from: They have a one-bucket-of-water-serves-an-entire-hotel cleaning strategy. One cupboard door fell loose upon opening and whe were given the advice to only use the other cupboard door. The highlight was on checkout day: One of the chairs had a broken soldering - an open gap that closes when someone sits down. That day I happened to have my finger at this gap when I sat down and upon closing it deeply cut into my finger. At reception they tried to bandage my bleeding finger. They had to use office-scissors to cut the strapping because their first-aid-kid seemingly had no scissors.

• Judy (4/5): Not recommended for those needing quiet or WiFi - The area is a bit shady and noisy. They allow you 30 months minutes of free WiFi so I chose to pay extra for 12 hours. It is as terrible the wifi goes in and out every couple of minutes! When we said something we were directed to the Breakfast room to use. Then we noticed there was no remote for tv and was told they would look for one for us. After about 2 hours I asked again and was told it would be about 11 pm before they would be able to even look as she was alone at desk We never did get one. There were huge groups of young students checing in and out of hotel. So I think it is more of a hostel. Did not like or feel safe here.
• martina (4/5): Albergo ben posizionato, ma un po datato - Tornerei in questo hotel solo per il luogo in cui è situato, vicino alla stazione Termini e alle fermate dei bus, ma per il resto non tornerei l'ho trovato vecchiotto e mal funzionante.
• Ramasubramanian (8/5): Value for money. - Hi: Please inform the hotel manager that we found our missing jacket in our luggage which we thought is missing in the hotel room and gave a complaint to the manager. It was our mistake to complaint without checking it properly in our baggage. My apologies. I recommend this hotel and its value for money and near to train station.

• Jorge (6/5): Receptionist shows hotel as 4 stars, it is not - When I arrived to the Hotel my invoice was ready without asked by it (discourtesy) and additionally receptionist asked me by a tax of euros 3 by each person and per night (I paid euros 18). She argued me hotel had improve its category to 4 stars and tax also now up from 2 to 3 euros. Additionally I request password for Wi-Fi and receptionist said me it is not included and I should talk directly with Expedia. I show terms in reservation and booking from Expedia and Wi-Fi should be included as free. Also there are some hotel in the same building. Really is a bit old the building Old TV and disconnected from cable It still use the old keys to open the door not electronic key
• Gabriel (4/5): Discretamente centrale...ma veramente messo male - Prenotato su Expedia, l'hotel si presenta come un condominio che in realtà è un hub di camere dove convivono diversi hotel (philia, stargate, etc.), molto caotico, il letto era rotto, il cuscino era talmente piatto che risultava quasi inutile, l'ascensore regge si e no 2 persone e si blocca spesso, nelle camere no frigo, no aria condizionata, no bidet, doccia ultra stretta, nel prezzo non è compresa la colazione ed il wifi è a pagamento. Receptionist e personale molto disponibili e cordiali, sempre pronti ad aiutare e consigliare gli ospiti.
• Verified traveler (4/5): hotel VENTURA ROMA - Hotel vicino alla stazione TERMINI, zona molto sporca, lo stabile dell'hotel è fatiscente, così come la reception e il vano ascensori e scale, in pratica è un condominio riadattato; per accedere alle camere bisogna suonare un citofono e viene aperta la porta dalla reception che immette nel piano delle camere e bisogna dire che la musica cambia: buon accesso, pulito, arredato bene e camera confortevole. il primo impatto però è quello che conta e porta a dare un giudizio complessivo appena sufficiente.

• sandra (4/5): There are better options nearby. - This hotel has its reception desk to the right entrance of the building that requires walking up about 8 steep steps to reach. The elevator is on the same level as reception. To enter the hallway on the 3rd floor in which my room was located, I needed to be buzzed in through a door after ringing a bell and waiting for a response. No key was provided for entrance to the hotel rooms on the third floor. There were different hotels on different floors of the same building and to the right part and left part of the floor after coming out of the elevator. It was a bit disorienting to see so many different hotel establishments in one building. The shower head hung from the water regulators because the fixture above was broken, so that I needed to hold the shower head with one hand while I applied soap to my body with the other. Showering in this condition was a bit awkward to say the least. The room was very dusty. I placed the towel over the heater to dry and the top of the heater was covered with a film of dust. If you are allergic to dust--as I am--it's recommended you look elsewhere to sleep. I don't know when the last time they rented out the room was since the room was so musty and full of dust. There are quite a few better options for hotels in this area, which is somewhat close to Termini train station.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Not bad, not great - We were there inky onr night. People were friendly & helpful, room was clean, enough linens supplied, everything in bathroom worked well. However, they have a but of a wierd system to get into your room where they have to open a door for you into your hallway every yime you come in. Room is very small, but it's Rome. We were at street level on the street side and it was very, very noisy all night!
