Michael (10/5): - Nice, clean room and Joe is a super welcoming host. We arrived about 7 in the morning after getting off our overnight flight to Shannon. It’s about a 10 minute drive from the airport. We paid for an extra night to ensure we could go straight to the B&B and get into our room. Joe greeted us at the door and offered breakfast when we arrived. We will definitely stay again if we ever come back through Shannon.

Mary (10/5): - We loved our stay at The Courtyard. It was a rejuvenating stay for us - light and airy, beautiful artwork. Very clean and comfortable. The sitting room was a beautiful room with a high trussed ceiling and a large fireplace (no fire). We enjoyed one of the best nights of our vacation there. Last but not least, the breakfast was made to order and delicious!

We arrived before noon and he was there to greet us and hold our luggage. When we returned later that afternoon, our luggage had been moved to our room. Breakfast the next morning was great- full Irish breakfast, but also cereal, yogurt, and a variety of fruit and little muffins were available. Joe also gave us some great recommendations for our next stop, Limerick.

Laura (10/5): A great stay! - Cute and comfortable place, nicely appointed, and convenient parking. Welcoming and friendly host, and tasty breakfast - great all around. There are several restaurants with live music a quick walk up the road, and laundry machines at the gas station nearby. Close to Bunratty castle if your visiting there, and not far from Limerick (our main destination - Clare Glen is a lovely walk!)

Gloria (10/5): - We rented three rooms, all were very nice and clean. All of us had the best rest as the mattresses were very comfortable and the linens were of really good quality. The showers had really hot water and soap and shampoo was available. The B&B had two large comfortable areas were you could hang out and relax. Breakfast was available for a fee. You could select from hot food and cold. They had lots of breads, cereals, fruit and juice available. Breakfast was great, the owner was the cook. Right next door was a restaurant and bar that was open until 1 AM. I would stay here again, Highly recommend.

Despite having the place to ourselves, the friendly staff went out of their way to make sure we were fully taken care of with a huge breakfast spread. The beds were very comfortable but most of all, the friendly staff made it a memorable experience we will never forget.

It was our final night in Ireland and we loved being very close walking distance to Durty Nelly's for our last hurrah before the flight home the next day. The rooms very adorable and the staff was very friendly. We had an excellent breakfast the next morning that was included cooked to order. We definitely recommend staying here for anyone who wants to be in close proximity to Bunratty Castle and Durty Nellys !

Bennett (10/5): Perfect place to stay here in Shannon in Airport. - This is a very nice pleacejust a few minutes walk from Bunratty park. Joe is a wonderful host, very kind and helpful. Everything in it has been re-done, and it is just as nice as could be. Very high recommendations all the way around. The bus stop to get to Shannon in Airport is about a one minute walk from the courtyard. I had to catch the 530 bus, and it was right on time.

Kathleen (10/5): - Although this b and b was on a busy street, it was so quiet I slept with an open window and heard the birds. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I couldn’t stay for the cooked breakfast, but the cold offerings and toast and tea were great I’ll be sure to book there again, perhaps making it my home base.
Eoghan (10/5): - This is one of the nicest spots you could possibly stay. The owner Joe is onsite and just about the most welcoming person you can imagine. He’s cooking breakfast every morning and sat down with me for an hour helping to map out the best route for my family’s travels around western Ireland. The rooms are great. We had the family suite which was perfect with a separate bedroom and bathroom for my daughter. Bunratty is great little town to base a trip around western Ireland from. Especially as first time travelers there no place could have been better to stay at than here.

He ensured we had everything we need and provided great travel advice for the countryside. This is a great location close to Shannon airport as well. Very comfortable and great location.

Jesica (10/5): 10 out of 10!!! - This B&B was one of our favorite stays during our whole week in Ireland! I wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Joe was an absolutely fantastic host. We arrived a little later than expected and he was very kind and inviting! The next morning he cooked us a lovely made to order breakfast (oats with cinnamon & honey and a pick and choose Irish breakfast). He was very hospitable and told us all about the property. There were three of us so we got the family room which is two adjoining rooms with 2 twins and one queen and two bathrooms. It was very spacious and we loved having separate rooms / bathrooms. It was also a very short walk to Bunratty Castle & Folk Park and Durty Nelly's, which are both also highly recommended. Overall we really really enjoyed our stay here. Absolutely nothing negative to say! If we ever find ourselves back in Bunratty, we would absolutely stay here again!
