- Diep-Anh (6/5): - The location was good. Too noisy at night.
- Douglas (10/5): I had great value with a two day discounted booking with Booking.com! I would stay here again. - Location was close to the ferry terminal and served as the Gateway to Olympic National Park. The breakfast was outstanding having many of my favorite breakfast items.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. There was nothing I didn't like.
- Don (10/5): Very nice experience. - Breakfast was nice, good selection and good. Location was perfect for where we were going. Will stay again!

- Deanna (7/5): -
- Gabriel (8/5): - Quick, easy, friendly, clean. Perfect place to crash before catching the morning ferry to Victoria.
- Ekaterina (10/5): -
- Archenar (9/5): - Great location close to the ferry, just uphill if walking.
The room was comfortable for one night with a good bed and small pillow. The bathroom and bed sheets and room were all clean and tidy.
It was quiet at night. No street noise and other guests were also respectfully quiet. It was a little old and dated. But everything works fine. Further south there are a few dodgy characters around. But no troubles.
- Jennifer (8/5): Pleasantly surprised - Great location to catch ferry and also to drive up to Hurricane Ridge Dated, but clean and comfortable
- Mair (9/5): -
- Cary (7/5): Great location, fine for a short stay, nice breakfast and friendly staff. - Close to everything, quiet location, great staff, good breakfast. Older place, tub was old, so I chose not to use it. No freezer, but staff froze stuff for me.
- Rizaldo (5/5): -
- Melisa (7/5): - The room was decent overall, but there was noticeable noise whenever the washroom was flushed. The AC system also seemed a bit dated and could get quite loud at times. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff was consistently attentive and helpful throughout the stay.
- Barbara (3/5): Port Angeles stay - Location Ants in the bathroom and plaster falling from the ceiling.
- Debra (10/5): Great value, good contential breakfast, clean and overall good. - Convenient to everything we needed
- Susan (8/5): I was very happy with my stay, and would stay there again. - Park at door; excellent breakfast; well-functioning microwave, fridge and coffeemaker; quiet location,; windows that open, with security locks. Some kind of dripping noise outside was annoying; cleaning chemicals a bit overwhelming at first but I was able to clear by opening windows for a short time.
- Eric (7/5): Uptown Inn was comfortable and provides value commensurate with its price point. - The office staff were pleasant and professional. The room was quite adequate for a one-night stay, considering the price point. It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom offers a certain period charm with its light green porcelain (although it is dated with some oxidation at the edges). The breakfast offered oatmeal, muffins, biscuits, waffles, cold cereals, a single variety of flavored and sweetened yogurt, a couple of fresh fruit varieties, scrambled eggs, sausage, and gravy. There was also coffee, which was brewed on the light side. The location is convenient. Safeway is on the next block. Nearby stairs provide access down to the downtown center where there are coffee shops, eateries, shops, and pleasant strolling. It's also close to the ferry terminal and to Hwy 101. On the breakfast menu, the addition of 'plain' yogurt and nuts and seeds would be nice to expand the 'non-sugary' offerings. And, I always appreciate more flavorful (i.e., richly brewed) coffee.
- Jean (7/5): A completely acceptable inexpensive option - I like the Uptown Inn. I stay a few times a year when I have to come into the US from Canada for medical care. It is inexpensive, the rooms are clean, the beds comfy, and a decent breakfast is included across the street in the sister hotel (Comfort Inn, maybe?). It's an easy walk to the ferry, and right near the bus station for the free bus to Sequim where my doctor is. I tried the Red Lion Inn once - what a dump, and twice the price. Uptown Inn is funky (pink bathroom fixtures from the 50's) but it has everything (fridge, microwave, iron, coffee maker, etc.) and they all work. View is of parking lot.

- Smith (7/5): - The location is great. Walking to town, shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was very good. Facilities clean. Room was fairly dated.

- Jan (10/5): Clean and comfortable - Great location Not a thing
- Taylor (8/5): -
- TERI (8/5): - My dog was made to feel welcome. Wifi was slow, very slow.
- Máximo (10/5): I like to much the hotel, if I have to be in another hotel, I will be again in UPTOWN INN - The place was great, clean, comfortable, good smell… I can complain… the breakfast was great N/A
- Jan (10/5): - Great location and quiet.
- Mary (3/5): - Very worn out. The pictures did not match the room. Too dated.
- Wendy (9/5): Great location and great breakfast! Staffs were helpful and friendly. - Clean and great location. Good breakfast! The bed is too soft
- Debbi (9/5): - Location, staff.
Coffee, tea and hot cocoa available 24/7
- Lisa (8/5): - Breakfast exceeded expectations, lots of options.
- Windy (8/5): - The breakfast was great. Lots of variety with helpful staff.
It was lovely being able to walk right downtown from the motel
- Maria (5/5): It was disappointing, we have stayed here before and liked it. This place was a letdown this time. - Location There was no water in the shower, informed staff Friday night, nothing was done. Saturday morning, had to inform them again, was assigned another room across our current room for shower. Going to and from our room to the other room to shower was such an inconvenience. Frustrating 😡 It took the staff too long to react to the situation. I requested for a later checkout because of this but nobody again responded.
- Theresa (10/5): Comfortable, clean, quiet - great value in a great location. - The room was comfortable and clean, with a bonus sitting room. The premises were quiet and staff were friendly. The only drawback was that the breakfast room as quite crowded when I came in, with no seats left. The food was just meh.
- Vincent (6/5): Great location but a bit messy - There were multiple dead bugs on the floor of the bathroom and when I arrived the front door was wide open.
- Dorothy (9/5): Enjoyable - Breakfast was very good. Staff were very organized and refilled breakfast items in timely manner. Need a little more space in breakfast area.
- Ryan (10/5): -
- Lydia (10/5): Clean. Comfortable beds. Convenient to Downtown. Good breakfast included. Would highly recommend. - The first room we stayed in was wonderful. A large suite with kitchen. The breakfast was good, fresh and hot. Very convenient to downtown. The desk staff were helpful and very pleasant. The price was much less than others in the area. There is no air conditioning but that didn't bother us at all. They provided fans which we didn't really need. I would highly recommend this motel. I was disappointed that the second room we stayed in (with a break of several days) was comfortable but not nearly as spacious for the same price. Both rooms were great though.
- Momchil (10/5): 10/10, would recommend to anyone - Great food, great staff, everything was worth the price.
- Mark (5/5): It almost met expectations. - The location and breakfast were very good. The room smelled a bit musty and even worse in the shower stall with bits of mold maybe (?) on grout between the tiles. The front desk clerk explained the musty smell away as due to the rainy weather but I personally think an exhaust fan in the bathroom would be a big help.
- Sculley (8/5): Stayed 6 days, convenient location, great free breakfast - Quiet, excellent free breakfast, nice staff The building I stayed in hasn’t been set up with A/C, but it was fall and reasonably comfortable.
- Pandora (10/5): Location perfect! Spotless! I'll stay again. - I flew into SeaTac, rented a car and drove to Port Angeles in order to catch the early morning Black Ball ferry to Vancouver Island the next morning. It was very convenient, spotless and the staff were excellent. I will stay on my next trip again! The breakfast was plentiful and well done, but I eat KETO and there were not many choices, but that's not the responsibility of the hotel. Coffee was excellent!
- Sadler (10/5): -
- Piotr (6/5): -
- Steven (8/5): -
- Aleta (10/5): Great amenities, great breakfast, great value - The room has all amenities - a coffee maker, microwave & fridge. Bedside tables & lights. A really nice easy chair. Good hot water. It's close to the ferry & the pier. The breakfast is excellent - scrambled eggs, lots of breads, yogurt, fruit, excellent muffins, and many other items. The motel is dated - but I actually love the pink toilet, and rooms are a bit larger than most more modern motels.
- Adelbert (8/5): - Upgraded to a 1 BR. Short walk to the port. Great views
- JULIE and CHRIS (9/5): - Location, price, and breakfast
- ERIC (7/5): Très bien situé pour découvrir Port Angeles à pied. - L'accueil, l'emplacement, le parking gratuit et le petit déjeuner gratuit. Rien.
- Kai (8/5): - Freundlichkeit
Super Frühstück
- Sanjay (4/5): Container-style rooms open directly onto the roadside - Breakfast was arranged at a nearby property across the road, which may be less convenient for some guests. Our stay at Uptown Inn had a few challenges. The first room offered had plumbing issues, so we were moved to another room where the bathroom needed renovation — the washbasin was rusted and the bathroom floor uneven. The rooms appear to be compact, partitioned units, which may not suit everyone’s comfort preference. Additionally, there is no dedicated reception area, so check-in and assistance can feel a bit limited.
- Chad (9/5): -
- valerie (7/5): Decent for the price and one night stay, breakfast was good and staff was friendly. - No stairs, parking right in front of the room , surprisingly good coffee and breakfast had excellent choices. The bathroom was very outdated, shower had mold and metal towel hook was rusted
- Shannon (8/5): - Nice property! Good breakfast! Friendly staff! Great location! Could hear everything outside like I was standing outside. Garbage trucks were there woke us up very early. Probably just needs some updates.
- Lougen (7/5): Affordable, clean, cute - Clean and neat, great location. Close to everything Just the door handle, it didn’t work well
- Igor (7/5): -
- John (10/5): - Great staff,breakfast,very clean and quiet.
- Wenkai (7/5): - location, clean. room too small. no fans for washroom.
- Nathalie (10/5): - Clean room, breakfast had good options. Everyone was helpful and friendly
- John (10/5): Great location near several amenities! -
- Jenny (10/5): - Clean and comfortable stay. Very friendly and helpful staff.
- Karl (7/5): -
- Jenny (9/5): -
- Brais (8/5): -
- julia (8/5): - Interesting arrangement of the property and how to find ours. Older place but clean. Staff very helpful.
- Ashley (5/5): Affordable and cute - Staff was very friendly, breakfast was hot and yummy, close to everything we needed it to be. The beds were extremely worn out, and there was no way to vent the steam from the shower with no fan in the bathroom.
- Erik (6/5): -
- Randy (2/5): - Very old run down property.
- Pamela (7/5): -
- Jena (8/5): - Love the staff, location and the room was just what I needed.
- Alexis (8/5): -
- mary (10/5): Great stay - We had a very roomy suite in what may have been the owner’s living quarters in an original one story motel. Our room was great. Loved it. Updated with remnants of original.
- Robin (6/5): - The room was incredibly small, the neighborhood had homeless people hanging around and we didn’t feel safe. The bathroom hasn’t been updated since it was built - probably in the 60’s and the shower appeared to be moldy. Breakfast was provided at the hotel across the street and had plenty of options. We would not stay here again.
- Houn (10/5): - I would stay at Uptown Inn again. It was close to everything.
- Larry (8/5): Average stay - We found ants in the bed. Getting the correct temperature in the shower required patience and a fine touch. Staff were incredibly friendly though.
- Sachi (8/5): - A nice spot for our overnight stay-enjoyed walking to downtown and along the waterfront with our dog (including the stairs back up the bluff!)
- Janet (2/5): - No air conditioning !!
Who knew that was something you would need to ask about before paying for a room. Not in a location I wanted to sleep with windows open!
- Patty (8/5): -
- John (10/5): -
- Rodger (10/5): - Small, old school motel which I really like when traveling by car for pleasure. Car parking right outside our road. Reminded me of my parents lake cottage built in the 1940's. But we'll maintained, very clean, separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed, TV and Wifi. I liked everything. But if if I was looking for new, modern or luxury this would definitely not be the place.
- Rita (8/5): - It was an old building on waterfront. Very convenient to Ferry. My only complaint was that the floors from bath to bed were dirty. Otherwise for overnight stay, it was nice.
- Donna (10/5): - Great location, roomy suite, comfortable beds!
- RANDOLPH (10/5): - Staff were friendly. Nice location. Great breakfast.
- Tracey (8/5): - So close to the downtown shopping area, Bella Italia (twilight fans) and the harbor. Staff were super nice and welcoming. Great breakfast. Bathroom on the older side with a little bit of a tricky shower to get the perfect temperature- but very clean and a very comfortable bed! I slept great. Thanks for being lovely hosts!!
- Peter (7/5): -
- Amy (10/5): We enjoyed our stay - Convenient location, very good free breakfast
- Jan (7/5): It was a nice property, not fancy or upscale, but adequate and reasonably comfortable. - Location and rate; breakfast was nice Room was very small
- Winfried (8/5): -
- Linda (6/5): -
- DAVID SCHAFER (2/5): Not worth the price. - the Ice machine worked. I could NOT check in at the 3pm scheduled & advertised check in time.
While waiting in my car to check in, the desk person walked right by me at 3:30pm.
without telling me that my room was ready for check in.
Cheap Motel setting, NOT worth $200 a night.
- Roger (7/5): Good night, good breakfast - room too expensive, good breakfast, convenient location Too expensive
- Lisa (4/5): - Great location, great staff! I had to wait until close to 4pm to enter my room and there were ants all over the bathroom floor. An employee came to neutralize them, but they were back later that night. Didn't even feel comfortable having a shower there. You'd think a person would receive some sort of compensation for this. Especially since I visit the Uptown Inn often.
- Jerry (3/5): Dirty and dated - Location and a decent breakfast. Free laundry The facility has several different buildings. We were put in the “economy building” The rooms did not have air conditioning, were extremely dirty and dated. Mold in the showers, hair clippings on the sinks. This was consistent in 2 different rooms. We would not recommend. This building needs a serious cleaning and update. In making the reservation, it was not clear that we were but in an economy building across the street from the main building and breakfast area.
- Howard (9/5): -
- Zhanbin (8/5): - Location is good
