L'hôtel n'a rien voulu savoir, pas même nous rembourser la différence tarifaire entre les deux catégories de chambre. Booking a fait un geste commercial, pas à la hauteur du prix mais c'est déjà ça.

- Coady (7/5): Small and basic, but an ideal base if you’re out and about most of your day. - Really good base, close to Kings Cross to make getting around London easier. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were really friendly and attentive, provided a personalised greeting in the room and tea, morning paper, and biscuits each morning with little personalised cards. I had been worried by the bad reviews I had read before arriving but luckily we didn’t encounter any of the problems I read about. They’re tried their best with the small rooms, but I think there could be better ways to use the space more strategically. The mirrors all seem to of been hung by a very tall person, no good if you’re below 5ft 5. Rooms also got very very warm, maybe some standing fans for the rooms would be an idea?

We needed a nice place to unwind and the rooms we were given wouldn’t have looked out of place in an e - The staff were very nice and the location was excellent for what we needed We first went into the “garden chalet” which was literally a room in the garden! In that room, the walls were all damaged, there were 2 double beds and one single “camp bed” which collapsed at any point we went near it! We then tried to have showers, which was filthy! The shower tray was broken to the point it resembled a bath once we had finished the shower, after another 1 or 2 the bathroom floor also flooded! At this point we decided to request another room if available! This is where I have no issue, the staff were really very nice and approachable! That’s honestly where the compliments end! We were shown another room and it all seemed fine, while collecting our belongings to move room we also noticed ants everywhere! Good thing we were moving, right? Wrong, we got into the “new” room, it was clear it hadn’t seen a Hoover in a very long time, that should have prepared us for what was to come, after what had been a long day we returned to the room, thew back the covers, only to find that the sheets on the single bed resembled a barbers floor! I have attached pictures to show absolutely no exaggeration! Couple that with the fact there was an empty bottle of vodka and a can of cider left by the previous?? Guests! We slept there, got up as soon as we could and checked out!

No towels provided in the room the table in there was in bad condition and not something I would expect in a room. The steps to my room as you had to go outside to get to it was steep and quite dangerous. The lights in my room one kept flickering there was no lamp and the whole experience going up to the room was not really presentable. One other thing I would like to comment on the man helping me to my room was been shouted at over the phone telling him to buck his ideas up or he will have to be let go. 1 I shouldn’t really be hearing that and 2 the lad did his real best and didn’t deserve to be spoken to like that maybe give proper training also be a little more organised so he can forfill his job. Not a hotel I will be staying in again I’m afraid things there need to change in my opinion .

- Rebecca (1/5): Dirty infested shed - It was close to kings cross It was advertised as a chalet, it was literally a garden shed, there was pubic hairs on the bed sheets, the mattresses were heavily stained, there was dust and dirt everywhere. The bathroom was rotten and the worst part was the place was crawling with ants. We left early as it was that awful. We slept in our clothes so our skin didn't touch the beds. The only reason we didn't leave as soon as we got there was because it was late and we had 3 children with us.

- Cordelia (8/5): - Staff were very friendly & welcoming. I'm sure the fan was added after dropping off my case - staff very attentive to my perimenopause state I arrived in LOL.. Location was very good - dont follow google maps, just walk straight up, off euston road and hotel is adjacent to square. Would stay here again. Slight wear & tear was evident in bedroom & bathroom. Bed was very springy, so took a bit of getting used to.
- clayre (8/5): Perfect for quick one night stopover - It was perfectly located for us as we had to catch an early morning Eurostar. It was literally a 5 minute walk away and easy to find Could’ve used a shower mat and the shower door was a bit dodgy

- Emma (5/5): Looks very nice when arriving but sadly rooms fail. Price fantastic but not a great stay - Closeness to Eurostar Very uncomfortable bed (Mattress desperately needs changing) dusty, bathroom needs updating all Crome rusty, mouldy and doors and walls need cleaning!

- Cathy (10/5): Excellent, super friendly, willing to accommodate if they can. - The very friendly and helpful owner and managers. When I made a mistake with my booking and didn’t realise I needed to request a ground-floor room due to mobility issues, they quickly moved me from a third-floor room with stairs to a lower-ground-floor room. This meant I only had to climb one flight of stairs at the start of the day, when I was less tired. Oh, and the decor, wow, it was beautiful, it looks overpowering in the website photos, but really well done when you see it live. I would have liked a fridge in the room, but it might just be the room I bought, since I got it super cheap for the area.

- Fanica (8/5): Retro, different but enjoyable - Retro, I didn’t expect but funny. Need improvements , the room needed renovation but I can say was bigger with a lot of facilities, I can’t complain because was close to St Pancras very good for late flights or early flights. I like this version of easy check in and out. I have to say was very clean , well done to the cleaners! If the rooms will have updates will be a good value for visitors. I will book again because I like this idea with retro rooms and different styles. Well done!👏 Thank you for having me and my daughter…she’s was very impressed with that’s hotel what I choose it. Only the things what have be fixed
- Simone (4/5): - Location good as 4 min away from St Pancras Station Electronic key code worked as promised Furniture old. Lots of rust in bathroom. Rather loud (I could hear every step from the guys in the room above me). Shutter was damaged so it was rather bright inside room

Unfortunately I had some very noisy neighbours in the room opposite me throughout the night so I did not sleep well/at all. Upgrading the doors to seal properly/be more soundproof would make a massive difference.

- Natalia (7/5): Weekend w Londynie - Lokalizacja i klimatyczne miejsce, mały przytulny pokoik Czystość wątpliwa, rzeczy nie na wierzchu miały warstwę kurzu, a nie był to bardzo tani nocleg. Uważam że można zadbać o porządek na tak małej powierzchni
- Jeffrey (8/5): The price and location were great for us for a 1 night stay. - Location was excellent to get to kings Cross Station. Staff were friendly, and room was clean. Bathroom a little cramped, as was the bedroom. No lift, however as we were using backpacks, this wasn’t a problem for us.

- Meeka (7/5): Too hot and noisy. Rooms need some tlc - Nice quirky hotel. Liked the self check in and out. The thermostat was broken in our room the radiator was on full blast couldn’t be turned down on the radiator itself either. We had to open the window to which the building near is under 24hrs construction. So the noise levels were awful. The bedside table was glass and was shattered. The handle on the bathroom door was broken so the door constantly opened which isn’t ideal in such a small space!

- Che (9/5): Ignore reviews, good bargain hotel close to station - Despite the poor reviews I found the room perfect for the price. £57 for one night, really close to Kings Cross station and loads shops/restaurants. Was clean, decent size and quiet. Was on 3rd floor but I didn’t mind the stairs. Not sure what people expect for that price in London! Nothing
