Guest Reviews
- Tudor Dinca (9/5): It's an amazing spot both as location and accommodation but we got the booking at a good price. - The complex is right next to the river and the train track with beautiful mountain views around it. It has great facilities inside the cabin and outside of it. There is very little to dislike about the property and complex. It's a great place and as long as you can get it at 300$ or less per night for 3-4 people then it's totally worth it. However, I did do a search of the property during peak season and the prices per night can get very high and restrictive.
- Krystal (10/5): - Nature Price
- Sam (9/5): Relaxing escape - Great location with all the facilities to cook and eat in the cabin
- Simeon (7/5): - Beautiful spot with great rooms and having the fire pits was a real bonus. There were no plates, cutlery or anything to cook with yet it advertises the microwave with assumed cooking facilities. When we asked at reception we were given very thin paper plates and some plastic cutlery. The paper plates were as useless as tits on a bull.
- Anne (10/5): - Everything, just felt like Heaven
- Connie (9/5): Peaceful and relaxing - Location and friendly staff
- Bas (10/5): - Fairly remote location, but great if that's what you're looking for
- Tom (8/5): - The cabins and surrounds were just amazing and so rustic will be back Pathways and roads in camp-site were terrible, potholes and puddles mud everywhere

- Ute (9/5): Schöne Unterkunft mitten in der Natur - Schöne Lage direkt am Fluss, ausreichend Sitz und Feuermöglichkeiten.
- Romane (8/5): Superbe ! - Vraiment Top !

- Edward (10/5): - Fantastic location except for the.trains! The train traffic takes away from the ambiance a little bit.
- Michele (10/5): Exceptional - The location, room and scenery was amazing. The best part are the fire pits
- Millie (9/5): -
- James (10/5): A fantastic place to experience the Rockies and as a base for hiking and travel in the area. - Location next to Baker Creek and the railroad.(Good if you are a fan of the old railroads and Gordon Lightfoot.)
- Paolo (10/5): -
- Cindy (10/5): Incroyable !! Je recommande - C’était génial !! Super expérience !! Le poêle est très performant !
- Andrea (10/5): What a place! Idyllic cabin in the woods. - What a gem! Spotless cute cabin in the woods along the creek with a fireplace. WiFi wasn’t great
- Niki (1/5): - Nothing Everything!!!
- chita (10/5): Helemaal goed - Perfecte locatie, mooie kamer.
- Perrott-Mazerolle (8/5): -
- Denise (10/5): This was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at! - We absolutely loved being here! Our room was perfect with stunning views, and had everything we could want or need!
- Jaspreet (10/5): -
- Brad (10/5): A really terrific authentic mountain stay, superior to starting in a standard hotel room in EVERY way imaginable. If you - Fantastic experience. Beautiful log cabins (we were in the Loft Cabin). Awesome location (minutes from Lake Louise village). Riverside setting. Quiet. Real wood fireplaces inside and 6-8 riverside fire rings with 6 red Adirondack chairs at each. Plenty of wood and kindling provided. Great decor. Great coffee. That I couldn't stay for months
- Chris (8/5): -
- Ken (9/5): Wonderful peaceful cozy getaway - We loved this beautiful place. We had a cozy suite and could hear the creek from our suite which was so soothing There are so many special touches like wood carvings, fire pits, cozy decorated rooms. Just loved it. Can’t think of anything
- Andrew (10/5): A fabulous place to stay! - Beautiful location and facilities! We used one of the fire pits and sat out until it got dark... Also used one of the BBQs which are really well kept. We had a suite in the main lodge and were really impressed. The kitchenette is really well equipped and has a portable induction hob which was very useful. Highly recommended! Nothing!
- Loan (8/5): -
- Abigail (10/5): Modern Cabin in a location far from the city, but closer to nature - Most cabins are lacking in modernity in some capacity but our cabins were made structurally really well! The style isn’t overall cabin and the rooms are really spacious.
The location is next to a flowing creek and surrounded by the woods. You won’t get much signal here if you’re looking to spend your stay inside the cabins.
The amenities are great and most places in Banff will use the Rocky Mountains soaps! Yes, you will smell like lemongrass…
It is obviously in a remote area so you’re likely to see a bear or deer running across the road. If you’re on a ground floor, you can hear the footsteps and doors opening of your upper neighbor

- mcconnell (10/5): -
- Sujith (9/5): We will come again for sure ! - Fire places by the creek and wilderness
- Karen (10/5): Wish we could have stayed longer! - Cabin was so cosy and picturesque Nothing!
- Julie (10/5): - Everything about this place exceeded expectations! Amazing! Such a fantastic property with fire pits along the creek. Tons of firewood available for the fire pits and the stove in the cabin. Clean, comfortable and well stocked. So many nice touches. A great place for a getaway. Highly recommend!
- Reina (9/5): Cozy Bakercreek - Cozy& very clean. Decor is spot on! I was anticipating that there is olive oil provided like at Basecamp Suits in Banff since it is the same umbrella company…so my hubby has to go an out to buy one.
- virginie (10/5): -
- Heather (10/5): Really cool stay- slightly expensive but worth it if there is a few of you staying. - Awesome cabin, great location and really good facilities. Firepit was pretty cool. Nothing
- Jaime (8/5): -
- Madeline (9/5): Wonderful! And wish we could have stayed longer - Love how cozy this stay is! It also has everything you need for a getaway, sauna & steam, campfires by the river and comfy beds
- Maryam (10/5): -
- Mark (9/5): Lovely relaxing location - Location was amazing Very poor noise insulation from the floor above our room
- karen (10/5): Highly recommend- gorgeous cabins, peaceful scenic areas - We had a loft cabin and it was just perfect. Check in was easy- even given some coffee for free. The cabin was so lovely with lots of nice little details like old photos. Decking area has a rocking chair bench. Such a peaceful place right on the creek with fire pits. We used the stove in our cabin which generated so much heat and cooked sausages and smores on it. Kitchen was great with everything we needed- even a plug in stove which we were not expecting. Highly recommend- our favourite stay in Canada! We want to come back again in the summer! Amazing stay!
- Kevin (10/5): -
- Marina (10/5): -
- Kristyn (7/5): Unique Canadian experience. Pretty location. Bed wasn't too comfy and the fire made the loft rooms h -
- chelly1979 (10/5): Magical stay! - What a place! We stayed in a cabin here for 3 nights and it was magical. We had lots of snow to enjoy and loved the remote, quiet and peaceful location.
The scenery is spectacular, a real pinch me moment.
Smores round the fire and a log fire each night was really special. It is in a great location to go off exploring.
Only comment is the upstairs bedroom became very hot with the fire lit, despite the window being open and fan on. Not too sure what else you can do about that though.
I would really recommend this hotel for a great experience.
- manny (10/5): - I love the place. First time we stopped. We only admired from outside the beauty the buildings the creek. This time we made it our stop and spend the nite. We we're not disappointed, we love the place and had a wonderful time. We had smores cooked marshmallows over the fire was wonderful. We plan on going back in the future. I even forgot my wallet in the room and they called me b4 I got to far, so we turned around and went and got it. Very friendly here and would recommend anyone stop and check it out. Baker Creek by Basecamp. Awesome place
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Loved it all
- Allan (9/5): We enjoyed our stay. -
- Glenda (9/5): Beautiful room in magical location. - Beautiful location. Nice property. Great accommodation for skiing Lake Louise. Like many hotels in Mount national Park, The train runs very close to the property, and woke up several times during the night. We found the room warm, so had the window open during the night. also, it would be nice to have some type of food service on the property.

- Yilan (9/5): -
- Charlene (10/5): -
- Vishal (9/5): A clean and relaxing retreat, but cabin layout makes big family stays disconnected and overpriced - The property is exceptionally **clean** and the grounds are visually well-maintained. If you are looking for a quiet, **relaxed atmosphere** away from the crowds, this is the place. Being nestled in the woods about 10km from Lake Louise provides a genuine mountain escape. It served its purpose perfectly for a slow-paced getaway. * **Safety Hazards:** With the recent snow melt, the walking paths became incredibly **slippery**. The management failed to adequately salt or grit the areas between cabins, which is a significant safety oversight for guests.
* **Poor Group Accommodations:** Despite traveling with parents, the resort was **unable to provide rooms close to each other**. This lack of proximity was inconvenient and disappointing for a family trip.
* **Inefficient Cabin Layouts:** For a group of six, the property lacks a cohesive cabin option with two bathrooms. We were forced to book separate units, which was significantly **more expensive** and less social. A single cabin with a second restroom would have been far more practical and cost-effective.
* **Connectivity:** Be prepared for **zero cellular service** and highly inconsistent, choppy Wi-Fi. While we didn't mind the "off-the-grid" feel, it is something to note if you need to remain reachable.
**Summary:** A beautiful, clean location, but let down by poor safety maintenance on the paths and a rigid rooming system that isn't particularly friendly to larger families or groups.
- Dianne (9/5): Cozy lovely stay with great access to Lake Louise. Highly recommend and would return. - Great location
- Jen (8/5): The cabin was cozy and comfortable which allowed our family to spend some quality time together. - It was very cozy and quaint. Perfect set up for my family. Loved how it was a self contained unit. There are many positives to this stay. Drip coffee was delicious, soap and shampoo/conditioner were great smelling, dishes were clean and organized, fireplace was clean and easy to light due to supplied kindling/matches and paper, and lastly there was a nice supply of games to play! Access to the cabin itself. Was able to park out front of the cabin and unload but then had to park in a parking lot and walk through snow/slush to get back to the cabin. A little sad the record player did not work.
- Andre (9/5): -
- ANGELIKI (8/5): - The room was very cozy with nice view to the creek. It was not sound proof, concerning the room on the upper floor. We could hear every single step or any other activity.
- Mark (10/5): -
- Amber (10/5): Amazing! Beautiful retreat next to the creek and mountains - The staff at the front desk was amazing! Danielle (I think) was super friendly and had great advice. The fire pits and views were exceptional.
- Fedir Kochetkov (10/5): Would love to come back - Everything was excellent. Cabin we were staying in was cozy, comfortable, with everything we need to make our stay enjoyable. none
- Cara (10/5): Amazing destination for family next to a ski resort - Private, quiet, adorable cabins, 5star staff and amenities - little things like fresh ground coffee and complimentary laundry facility Only wish was for it to have a hot tub
- Andrea (7/5): -
- Kristi (8/5): We’ll be back! - Love the location and having our own stand along cabin. The wood burning fireplace was a treat. It was a bit dusty. Having access to a few bowls & plates & cutlery would have been great.
- Tasha (10/5): -
- Colin (9/5): Nice quiet evening near Lake Louise - A very cozy cabin in the woods and beside Baker Creek. If you’re looking for a rustic feel but clean and updated then this is a good place. Great for a romantic getaway. The kitchenette was very basic and the induction cooktop was slow.
- Jean Edmond (10/5): - Un check in arrangeant.
Auto erforderlich -
- Verónica (9/5): Amazing stay... timeless experience. - The location is incredible, the atmosphere is amazing. It makes you feel like in a dream or a movie. I would repeat, no doubt. The only thing to be improved is that there is no restaurant and the Shop is very limited. We were there in snow period, access to the Village al 16Km was difficult and we World have appreciated some food available. Other than that, all was perfect.
- Joseph (10/5): -
- Marina Lanzani (10/5): -
- CHIN JEN (10/5): -
- Daniela (9/5): -
- Laura (10/5): - Such a wonderful stay! All the thoughtful little touches really elevated the experience, bath bombs and fresh coffee at check-in, locally made bath products, firewood stocked by the pits, and cozy blankets ready by the fire. The location is also perfect! I’d definitely recommend it for a refreshing getaway.

- LUIS (9/5): - Excellent location, facilities and staff
- Jasdeep (10/5): Amazing! - It was really well decorated, and a lovely place to stay Finding parking was a tiny bit hard (it had enough spots open)
- A9807LQbelindas (10/5): Amazing place to stay. - Amazing place to visit. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Accomodation was great, we had such a great time. Close to Lake Louise.
- Alspach (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful- dreamy
- Hangya (8/5): -
- Georgina (8/5): -
- Robin (10/5): A beautiful place to disconnect from work and reconnect with my husband - Nestled in the heart of the Rockies great place to get away and escape reality no cell reception no TVs just nature and loved ones We should have planned a little bit better on the food front. There was some options at the main lodge but being that it’s mostly cabins I should have planned and brought more food but it’s just a short 30 minute drive to map for all the restaurants and shopping if you want more of a dining experience.
