I would rate the the motel a perfect 10, but the bathtub backed up and I didn't want anyone to come in the room to fix it because I was traveling with my two cats. The fan on the air conditioner went on the fritz. It still cooled the room, but the fan speed wouldn't go above low.

It's below "basic" - old, Motel 6 building, towels like thin rags, NO hair dryer, no closet, tiny rooms, slippery shower, noisy fan, rather noisy generally if there's a biker group or similar. Weird check-in process - everyone staying in the room has to show their ID. Makes me worry about their clientele and security. But sometimes it's the only place available on short notice.

- Stephen (5/5): - The staff went out of there way to make sure I was able to keep my reservation i made back in December 2025, finally got a room which was 236 had a joint door on it and the people next door were smoking Marijuana in the room plus cigarettes, it had our room smelling very bad, the staff got us a new room ASAP room 216 which the didnt have a working air conditioning they wanted us to give them a chance to fix it which took 3 as I stayed 6 nights 2 of the nights my room and clothes smelled like weed, third night we didn't have air conditioning and the room was hot they gave us a fan which worked ok, I was offered a new room when I had 1 night left to stay which didn't make sense when I was leaving in a day, I was told I would get a refund for the 3 nights and pay for the night which I didnt have any problems, then I was told they won't do thay as they offered me a room when I had one night left to stay which didnt make sense after all I went through those 1st 3 and half days The staff was very good, its just I was offered a refund for the 1st 3 nights and pay for the last three nights at the hotel. I was told sense I didnt want to change rooms the last night as the air didnt work that was their offer to me to fix the problem which didn't make much sense to me as I had one night left to stay.

They ask for your phone number at check in and then we started recieving spam calls and messages the very next morning like they sold the information. They called at 9am to ask about the stay and we had not checked out yet. The bed was hard and pillows were lumpy, no fridge or microwave, very basic room for a night. . They also charge for parking and late check out if you want it.

Wood floors were clean. Great shower/tub. The Old Pancake House borders the property so a short walk from the room.. excellent food and continues the old-timey flavor of the property.. PS We arrived after 10pm and the reservation attendant came out to the car for my girlfriend to add her signature to the checkin procedure.. Way beyond the call of duty!! Excellent overall experience! two double beds barely fit in the room.. but climbing over the end of the bed for one of us wasn't a big deal.

I'm old and everything was wonderfully walkable! The staff is knowledgeable and quite polite. The parking lot has the advantage of being adjacent to the shopping mall parking lot (so their security vehicles would notice "unusual activity") The room itself was clean, but the furnishings and fixtures are suffering from wear and tear. There also seem to be voucher recipients living on the property I felt a bit vulnerable in the halls as I was traveling alone.

- Robert (8/5): We would stay here again, just maybe in an upper room! - The staff were friendly. Rooms were nice and clean. We had a fridge and microwave and small coffee maker in our room which was nice. Unfortunately the people staying above us were up all hours of the night. Was surprised at the $10.00 a day for parking. What’s with that?? Isn’t wasn’t underground, just in the open parking lot.

- Eric (1/5): Never again. - Rude, prejudice staff. Threatening. Unclean, unsafe environment. Threatened to call the police after asking a question. No manager on site and refused to give manager contact information or any other contact information to resolve issues. All Motel sixes in our area have turned into drug infested infested places to hold up and meet your probation officer apparently. What a joke.

- Gillian (10/5): My GO-TO hotel when in Phoenix. - Delightful staff, clean room, eating area with comfortable bench, pool and spa availability, shopping and restaurant nearby Can't think of a thing that was lacking.

- Oceane (2/5): Expect a 2 star stay - Some of the staff were very polite and helpful. The day manager was nice to me. She switched my room without heat promptly. First night I didn’t have heat, the second night the staff gave me a hard time about assisting having another room turn their music speaker off. They argued with me there was no music, then they couldn’t control the music. The young girl working was sooooo unpleasant to deal with. 0 stars for her hospitality! It was awful!

- Kimberlee (1/5): Highly dissatisfied - NOT pet friendly! TV did not work and when reported, said it would be at least a week before anyone would look at it. Would not bring us a working tv, and would not let us change rooms. Paid for a room with microwave & refrigerator, got microwave but no refrigerator. No tv and no refrigerator even though we paid for both, and would not give us a discount. The electricity was completely OFF/the entire motel-for 2 1/2 days and nights! Refused to give ANY compensation or even a discount to any of their customers staying there!! Extremely rude and very nit picky. The maids NEVER clean your room until you check out-motel does NOT provide clean towels, tp, soap…anything after your initial check-in. On top of being very unprofessional, rude, and lazy, they do not tell you until you check-in that they are SO GREEDY that they charge you an ADDITIONAL charge if $10 PER DAY for EACH vehicle you have(btw you can park in the street or at the mall for FREE!!!) If you ask them to do their job,no matter WHAT it is-they roll their eyes and huff and puff and basically the entire staff will treat you like an unwelcome intruder for your entire stay. To even smoke a cigarette you have to walk across the street or they lose their minds!! It is a very unwelcoming and hostile dirty environment. NOT worth the trouble and most definitely NOT worth the money!! Absolutely would NOT recommend staying at this cockroach motel!!! Ever! See above
