Guest Reviews
- Darlene (1/5): Motel 3 versus motel 9 - Nothing The staff was smoking pot upon my arrival and not very welcoming.
The toilet was dripping water the entire time.
The shower was very dirty. The floors were dirty as well. The curtains were barely hanging by sparse hooks. The beds themselves were extremely hard. The pillows were substandard. The price of the hotel itself was way above pricing. Unfortunately this was the only hotel available in the area or I would have stayed elsewhere. There were roaches crawling in the bathroom. Mold in the ceiling in the bathroom as well as on the shower curtains.
- Romero (1/5): This place was so bad I didn’t even stay the night I just left - Nothing the property had trash everywhere there were people with enough stuff for an apartment that were just laying and sitting on the stairs and digging in the back looking for something or hiding something The bed had burn marks there was damage to the floor in the bathroom and the ceiling on the walkway the lamp shades were discolored and dirty the wall behind the lamp was gross.

- KARINA (1/5): - Es el motel mas sucio e inseguro en el que me he alojado jamás!!! Es asqueroso! Todo no me gustó. Es sucio, apestoso, inseguro, etc
- Mejia (7/5): Overall our stay was ok - Stand up shower was very nice. Bed was too hard and tv was missing remote control. Spent about 30 minutes looking for an ATM machine because i needed a cash deposit of $20 that was not explained in the online booking. Homeless people in parking lot made me feel a little uncomfortable.

- Hom (9/5): - It's just like basic motel 6, thus the name motel 9. accommodations. Located next to big chain hotels. Basic place to rest. No frills and low cost. Parking available next to room. Cash deposit is too easy to forget to pickup. Prefer credit card debit credit like other hotels.

They give white towels but we basically can't even use them or leave them any kind of dirty essentials on them or they'll keep our deposit. They expect them to be white white when we leave after using them .... that's the only problem I had with them Chance towels colors or chance the clingy ness
- Jazmin F Diaz (7/5): Good review - How polite staff was The area as in some of the people were weird that stayed there
- Gonzales (6/5): -

- andrew (8/5): good stay - staff and pirice the sounds of the train late at night
- Robert (4/5): - Constant stream of roaches, particularly in the bathroom. TV was on the fritz. No chair to sit on at the desk. Very noisy until after midnight. A constant chirping coming from the laundry room every 20 seconds drove me crazy. Fix whatever alarm is going off1
- Lisa (2/5): - Pi didn't stay out was the wrong days. I was
- James (1/5): Was not great due to the noise - Just a place to stay due to Motel 6 canceling my reservation with them That where I stayed to many people up and down the stairs being loud and children screaming and running around and pushing on the door and people walking around yelling at others fighting
- Valerie (2/5): - Rooms nasty the bedding had bugs floors filthy staff very rude druggies everywhere not safe area
- Valerie (2/5): - Dirty rooms rude staff unsafe environment druggies everywhere
- Colleen (2/5): - The curtains were not hanging on all hooks & had holes in them, the blankets had cigarette burn holes in them, no bedspreads, there was no remote for the TV, we were given 2 remotes & they didn't work. There was dirt under the beds. The pool was not functioning & had dirty water & trash in the little water it had in it. One pillow had a stiff plastic cover on it under the old pillowcase. The sheets were old & very thin, dingy & not tucked in. The air conditioner ran but it could not be adjusted at all.
- Antoinette (1/5): Hell hole - I had option for smoking room didn't realise that meant the room would be dirty lots of cigarette burns on both beds covers., and stank, was woken up early hours to shouting, other residents fighting with bats poles and throwing bricks, I had to get in the middle of it to move the mustang I hired, I'm a 54 woman, the police were called, it was very shady hotel, saw people walking around with hammers and long screwdrivers, I may only have seen all this as smoking was at the very back of hotel, I found this offensive that smokers don't deserve a clean safe room, I had a very negative experience and regret getting a smoking room Nothing
- Valerie (10/5): - Staff clean rooms
- Rosa (6/5): - The price was good. The manager was nice. But tge bed was very uncomfortable and no light in the restroom.
- Serena (10/5): - Great staff members
- Jonathan (4/5): - Towels and sheets looked dirty
- Roberto (9/5): - Todo excelente solo un detalle el lavabo no salió agua el lavabo de el baño no salió agua

- Ben (8/5): - The room had some damage to it from previous guest.
- Serena (6/5): - Great staff
- Julian (8/5): - Decent price pretty don't get bothered
- Priscilla (4/5): - It was all dirty n pillows had blood and bed had shoe prints shower was full of dirt
- Cindy (2/5): - Prostitutes hanging around my door . Had people selling drugs two doors down from my door all night. They tied two pitbulls outside by their door and had them barking almost all night. Then after I checked. in the girl from the front desk tried to charge my card twice. When I asked her why she was trying to charge my card she denied it. Yet I have the proof .
- Cindy (1/5): Do not go there - Service was good. Friendly. Roaches no top sheet. Was scratchy
No towels. Dirty I clean shower before use. Old. Needs to be remodel. No microwave. No cups for taking meds
- Cindy (2/5): - So when I arrived at the location, the first room was smelling a lot like cigarettes and all the bed was full of holes from cigarette burns. Then once we checked in she tried charging the card 3 times after we had already paid. And now my card is blocked. All night you could hear the prostitute knocking on doors. Then two doors down there was a room where they were selling beer and they had two pitbulls tied up outside barking all night.
- Dustin (2/5): - No rainfall shower, no tub, no toaster, no sheets or towels, microwave only in front lobby not in room, pool drained and now used for storage, roaches in the fridge. A total disgrace and wouldn't force my worse enemies.
- Carl (4/5): - I liked being able to park my car right across from the room. The ac worked fine. The hot water in the shower was fine.
I didn't like seeing someone 's black hair on the floor of the shower. Made me wonder if it had been cleaned at all. There was no fitted sheet on the bed only the 1 flat sheet
- Verified traveler (2/5): NOT RECOMMENDED!!! RUN AWAY!!!! - The rooms were in horrible condition. The shower was nasty. The tv didn't work. If I could put a negative star I would have.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Very nasty and disgusting!! - This place is very nasty drug overrun to say the least. They allow people to sleep in cars sit in the parking lot all night just hang out doing drugs. They are very dirty. There was poop in the shower. It doesn't look like the shower had been cleaned cuz there was dirt where the soap goes. I wouldn't recommend this to a dog.
- Jorge (2/5): Very poor -
- Dawne (2/5): - Room not clean, left it did not even stay for the 2nd day that was already paid!
- Dalia (1/5): Awful - The front desk clerk was nice Room was dirty, could hear the couple next to me having sex until 3 am and couldn’t sleep
- Isabel (8/5): Good - The light was getting into the room i couldnt rest, i was offered a bottom floor which i asked for, great shower, no brekfast, also might need some paint in and out!
- Christine (8/5): Very good -
- Brian (4/5): - Roaches, stains. No trash can. TV remote didn’t work. Noisy guests
- Paradise40263090914 (2/5): Disgusting Room - I stayed at this hotel on 2/14/2025 because I had an appointment in El Paso TX. Motel 9 is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. The room had roaches, dirty sheets and curtains. I went to get a full refund, but the owners would not answer their phone. Once I was able to speak with them they gave me 1/2 off the room.
- lav (2/5): - Horrible racist and take your money
- Hector (2/5): - The room had two beds, and the beds were too big for the room as there was limited space between the beds to walk. Additional, the odor of cigarette smoke permeated the room which made it had difficult to rest. Aside from this, the room was clean.
- Jean (4/5): Only as LAST RESORT🙃 - The staff were very nice. The room was less than basic and old : needs to be refurnished from scratch and night tables added. The safelock for the door was broken.
Altough the bathroom was clean, the floor in the room was not.
We would not recommand this location at the price we paid (92$ Cdn)
- Noe (2/5): - Only one set of towels ,hand towel and washcloth, the sheets had stains
- Julian (10/5): - Pool and hot tub were out of service but other than that everything was great
- marco ojeda hermilo (10/5): - Rokm was clean. Staff was friendly. No loud noise. It was quiet and chill.
- Christina (3/5): Poor -
- Gerald (10/5): - I thought I booked a different number. So I double checked and it’s a Nine! This Motel is situated beside other inns. So it’s safe. It has a nearby gasoline and pit stop and across is Whataburger. So you’ll never be hungry just walk some steps!
- Ryan (10/5): - Easy check in
- Jeffrey (10/5): - The room was clean, every worked, and the staff were friendly.
- Jerry (6/5): - Just a place to sleep. Old bed, holey curtains, not the cleanest place for sure.
- Freddy (8/5): - Thanks
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Great value without compromising service and appearance.
- Aime (1/5): Very bad customer service checking in. - After making reservations, after I tried to check in late at night, the manager said he gave our room away to somebody else and was turned away. Manager was very rude. I asked for a manager and stated he was the manager. I requested a corporate number and he stated they were owned locally and not by corporate. Very bad customer service. What is the point of making reservations when the motel doesn't reserve them. Will never stay there.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Appreciate the amenities, location, helpfulness of staff.
- angelica (10/5): - Loved it
- angelica (10/5): - Great place
- angelica (10/5): - Loved the staff
- angelica (10/5): - Awesome staff
- angelica (10/5): - Staff is great
- Beaudarick (10/5): Budget Friendly - Place is a good stay if your cash flow is not good and need a roof over your head with a/c ,hot water, showers, ice machine and management that will work with you. I cant complain if your a snotty kind of person and very picky and have ocd then this place is not for you.
- Robert (10/5): - Hospitality and nice people!!!
- Carlos (2/5): - Just very dirty
- Bolt (1/5): Bad -
- Susan (2/5): - The place looked like it had homeless people staying there. I didn’t feel safe. No pool .
- Lindsey (6/5): - Easy check in. Room too small with no amenities.
- Estevan (7/5): I am owed a 12 dollar refund for this booking - Nothing really Room was extremely hot, took forever to cool down, leak in bathroom, stain on bed sheets
- Joshua (2/5): - Check in was horrible. When customer needed to be contacted due to him not answering his phone from 7 am to 1030 am, clerk refused to help. Said no one was there by that name! Had to call police for a welfare check! All was asked of him was to ring the room or knock on the door, which by the way, was next door to the office. Check out was horrible. The clerk would not even give a receipt or acknowledge customer. Will not be going there again!!!
- Beaudarick (10/5): Was evicted because property was condemned. - Last minute because the property where we were staying at was condemned. Had to move with in the same day plans and no deposit required. Clean rooms nice staff and room service was very helpful
- Chase (2/5): - We booked a room that was supposed to be one queen bed(room401) on 9/28. It was a full size mattress. Not a queen. The dead bolt lock on the door was broken off. Turned light off in the kitchen and bugs fell onto the stove. The bathroom was extremely dirty and hair in the shower and on the floor. The room was to be a smoke free room and it was extremely strong cigarette smell. We couldn’t even stay wet immediately left the property with no refund. Absolutely ridiculous how they pass state inspection I would never recommend anyone staying here
- Robert (10/5): - this property was great. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. The owners walked a lot every night.
- Priscilla (10/5): - Quiet
