- Branka (7/5): Great location , clause to the beach and shops - Nice facilities , great pool , close to beach Bed’s uncomfortable and poor quality pillows
- Lisa (1/5): - Bedding had not been changed. Sheets were dirty with stains.
Spiders in the shower.
Poor staff attitude.
- Wayne (10/5): Vibe and location are awesome. - Authentic, old school Bali.
- Ben (8/5): Perfect - Area affordable great location with access straight to the beach Wi-Fi is not the best, but it's okay
- Martin (8/5): - Location Illumination levels on a night time
- Wayne (6/5): - Good value for you money, just a little bit dated.
- Fleur (5/5): we did not stay but had to pay for one night regardless - location not clean - dirty toilet

- Susan (10/5): A Piece of Paradise - A gorgeous hotel with a wonderful ambiance , making guests feel like they are part of an older, gentler and less frantic Bali. The gardens are beautiful and the staff are great. The rooms are comfortable and peaceful with spacious balconies. The pool is amazing, and the beach is just down the path . We appreciated some new improvements such as safer pathways and improved lighting. We have stayed at Laghawa many times and can't wait to return. The rooms are basic and you have to remember that the hotel can not provide all the frills at this price
- Carter (9/5): Older style hotel in good location would stay there again - Great location
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aprendi (10/5): Good place to stay next to the beach, with affordable price - Location, price, and ambient of the hotel it was great and full
Of grean. And they have access to the beach also the provide sun chair. It was great. Out to date room. But
Room is clean
- Gina (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyed 1st time - The quietness, location, gardens n lovely staff Shower sprayed all over floor making it slippery. As older couple this made us cautious.
- Vaughn (10/5): Good stay - great location - friendly staff. Great pool. - Very good value for the money. Great location. Friendly staff. This is an older hotel but for the price it was very good. Great swimming pool. Hotel is connected to the beach. Everything worked. I will stay here again, I'm sure. Beds a little too soft for me. I like a firm mattress.
- Sarah (7/5): Great position - Great pool and beach front position
- Barry (8/5): Very good - gardens cafe pool position price all good
- Kirana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robynne (7/5): Lovely location and a very pleasant stay. - The location is fantastic with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel gardens are beautiful and just a short walk through them down a path to the beach and a lovely cafe. It is also very close to a new large indoor shopping centre, the Icon Bali Mall, which can be accessed via walking along the street front or a nice path along the beachfront. Staff are very friendly. Bathroom had been updated and room was clean. My room was quite small and dated, but was perfect for my one night stay.
- Lesley (9/5): Old world charm in a great location - This place is a real find. Wonderful location by the beach with gorgeous gardens full of statues and old features.
Room basic but well equipped with kettle, fridge, toiletries.
We asked for extra pillows which they brought straight away.
Incredible value for money. A water refill station and a couple of teabags a coffee sachets would complete what is a perfect hotel.
- Sonia (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kerry (9/5): Superb - I booked this property based on the location, pool & gardens all of which were fabulous. The room was better than I expected, it smelled good, was clean & had everything I needed. My fridge wasn't working but Ketut organised for it to be changed as soon as I mentioned this. The room was cleaned daily, towels & linen changed & generous water supplied. Warm & friendly staff who are happy to help. Such a tranquil property - you are hardly aware of the other guests. Good value! An improvement in the bathroom would be to attach a couple of hooks to the back of the bathroom door.
- Meg (10/5): Sanur's hidden gem.. - Laghawa Beach Hotel. Is the gem of Sanur..Having stayed at many beach side hotels over the years,Laghawa is now my favourite.
Beautiful, tranquil setting, super friendly staff, quiet and peaceful surrounds..Located right in the middle of Sanur.....
Great pool, easy access to beach and main street restaurants.. Value for money is the icing on the cake.! Nothing not to like.!!
- Belinda (9/5): Easy, peaceful, clean and we will stay again when we come back to Bali - Location was excellent you could pop out the front of hotel and be right next to many different places to eat and a variety of massages and nail spas, selection of shops, pharmacy, small supermarket and 10min walk to large supermarket.
Go out the back of hotel on to the beach boardwalk where they have a lovely restaurant, coffee bar, bar with tables and chairs under tress for shade and lounge chairs on the beach for guests to use. Short walk to turtle rescue, beach massage, Sindu markets, water activities, Icon Bali mall and nice areas to swim.
We had a room near the front but was really peaceful and we were surprised that we could not hear any of the noise from the main street. Room was very clean, bed nice and firm, pillows and sheets clean, towels a bit worn out but clean, loved the effort staff put in to make towel animals, Great to have freezer box in fridge! only fault is shower is dreadful low water pressure, small shower head, little hot water. Staff around grounds all very friendly but not intrusive, reception staff.
Grounds are next level beautiful and maintained, pool is super clean and private.
We stayed two nights traveled out of Sanur to stay elsewhere and then decided after staying in Ubud central (crazy busy noisy) we changed plans rang and booked to come back and stay at Laghawa again, staff remembered us and even gave us same room rate as few days before. 35mins to airport 50-60mins with traffic 300IDR in taxi.
We will book again and are recommending to friends. Just needs better showers and the reception staff and area could make guests more aware of their restaurant out on beach, perhaps a sign at reception and information in rooms. We were told by staff when checking in no breakfast?
- Toni (10/5): As above 👆🏽 - I love how central it is on the beach. I love the big pool. Very quiet resort with extremely beautiful, caring & friendly staff that make you feel like you are a part of their family. Absolutely beautiful stunning grounds.
Little old but I love old, traditional Balinese and Balinese owned.
Can’t recommend it enough 😍
But shhhh 🤫 don’t tell everyone 🌺 Love everything 🥰
- Terry (9/5): Superb -
- Maureen (10/5): I loved the beautiful, secluded peace of the room, gardens & pool n the heart of busy Sanur - The peace of the beautiful extensive gardens. The amazing, secluded pool. Beach loungers waiting on the beach. A fine room to relax in. Helpful staff
- Silvia (5/5): Basic accommodation - Location in Sanur was ok, near some restaurants and shops.
Only spend one night at the hotel but would not have wanted to stay there longer Very dated and in need of refurbishment
Smell of drains in the bathroom and bathroom gets flooded when having a shower
- Therese (8/5): Very good - Great access to the beach, plus great staff. Rooms are very clean. Water & room cleaned daily.
Huge swimming pool & beautiful grounds Bathrooms were a little sad.
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Christopher (8/5): Very good - great pool
- Muncaster (8/5): Very good -
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liz (8/5): Very good -
- Anzhela (9/5): Superb - Great location, through a beautiful garden the road to the beach, sun loungers and umbrellas. I didn't like only one thing - the man with service on the beach always proposed us the broken sun loungers, the good ones he sold out for some people.
- Tyler (9/5): Excellent value for money - Very nice setting and gardens . A little dated but wasn't expensive Pillows Rock hard and fridge noise in room
- Mercer (8/5): Very good -
- Janine (7/5): Good -
- Honi (7/5): Good value for money but could be heaps better - Close to beach and restaurants No bar at pool
No room service
- Kristina (9/5): Superb -
- Leigh (8/5): I often stay because I like the gardens and pool - I stay at Langhawa for the location value for money Shower drainage is not good no tea or coffee supplied
- Quentin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sharon (9/5): Peaceful Gem tucked away in Sanur - The gardens are beautiful and well-kept. The grounds are so spacious rather than feeling squeezed in between too many buildings. If you want a peaceful spot tucked away in the middle of Sanur, this is it! No breakfast included was a bummer but the restaurant on the back alley to the beach, with seating under some ancient trees was great and not too pricey. The bathroom walls were not as well-cleaned as I would have liked and adding a mattress pad to the bed would make it more comfortable. Otherwise, well done!!
- Lynda (9/5): Hidden gem in Sanur, easy walk to beach, restaurants and shops. Lovely gardens and pool area. - Hidden gem that can't be seen from the beach but has an alleyway down to the beach and is in easy walking distance to lots of restaurants and shop, the Icon shopping centre is only a 10 min walk away. Large gardens and pool, friendly staff. Standard room was basic with a firm bed and included a bar fridge. Bed was a bit firm for me, everything else was great.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bettina (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kerrie (5/5): Passable -
- Tjintana (9/5): I love this place ,IT’s little hidden paradise - Clean little hotel ,with a keatle for coffe ,you have to buy your own coffee.Balinese style with beautiful garden .Everyone here is very friendly .it’s only 2 min walk to your own beach and they supply a chairs from the hotels . Thank you everyone,I be back ,I highly recommend this hotel 💐😍 The bed is a bit hard and no block out curtains,so I just hang my blanket to darken the room ,shower need improvement, peoples start talking before 6:40am ,apparently the owner serving the flowers for the temple,I did tell Ketut about it and he will pass on the message,as I told him that I pay here to sleep and appreciate to be quiet. Next day I move to room 135 it’s much quieter . .overall is a lovely place to be .
- Aidan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rama (1/5): Bad - The hotel is creepy for me 😅 the room’s door is very complicated to open and close , there is a gape between the door so the insects and cockroaches and mosquitoes can come inside easily, the room is too dark. Very old hotel
And u need to walk 10 minutes to the beach , the Statues are everywhere which were very creepy to me 😭… actually i didn’t stay there once i arrived and checked the whole area and the room i decided to lose my money and cancel the booking
- Carol (8/5): Traditional Balinese hotel with a loyal longstanding clientele - Beautiful gardens. Proximity to the beach. Good pool. Daily room cleaning very well done Bedding needs to be updated
A lot of mosquitoes
- Lorna (5/5): Nice place but too quiet for us and needs some maintenance. - It’s a very quiet place so good for relaxing. Has beach / board walk access. Near a yummy bakery called bread basket and spa right outside called lucky star. WiFi not great in the rooms and our shower had low pressure and no hot water and needed the head to be replaced which they did straightway. Didn’t fix the hot water. Need to be aware where your rooms are as some had a lot of noisy frogs and lizards outside.
The bed was also not comfortable.
- Leanore (6/5): It was fine - perfect location rooms need some TLC, and beds were rather hard and solid. Needs a better locking system for rooms , padlock is really that secure .
- Lana (9/5): We liked it so much we stayed here twice on our trip! - Great location, access to the beach (and all its restaurants/bike rentals/shops) along a long, lovely path through amazing gardens filled with statues. Rooms were private and charming, good value for the money. Rooms were a bit dark
- Warrick (8/5): Great value for money with hotel operated by very friendly and competent staff. - Very happy with the location of the property being an easy walk to the beach, and with 3 major markets across the road. Pleased and surprised that there was daily servicing of my room with bottles of water supplied each day. Pool was in exceptionally clean condition and lounges very comfortable. Special mention to Gidday (my room steward) who was very helpful. Shower in bathroom was not very powerful, and direction meant floor area got wet every time it was used.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lahari (9/5): Fantastic stay - The location and the proximity to everything The beach access passage didn’t have lights on at night
- Rizal (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (9/5): I look forward to returning! - I really enjoyed my stay here. Nothing.
- Marilyn (9/5): Superb - Location, grounds, staff 😊 Rooms are a bit tired, but for what you are paying, it was fine. If upgrades were done, you would be paying a lot more because of the location. My stay was comfortable. 😊
- Sharon (3/5): Poor - Pool was great Room and bathroom in desperate need of an update
- A (8/5): Great - Older style Bali beach hotel.
Nice pool, easy access to beach. Simple and great location Room and bathroom was excellent Nothing keep in mind it is a simple older hotel
- Lynette (7/5): Good -
- Christine (10/5): holiday - staff pool location nothing everything was great
- Maaike (7/5): Good price for a short stay - The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the staff working here is so friendly and helpful! Very close to the beach. We only had one night here and it was a perfect location as a starting point on to exploring Sanur. The rooms are out dated and definitely the bathroom is in need of an update. Since we were only here for one night it didn’t bother us, but we wouldn’t stay here longer than that.
- Dale (8/5): Great location ,lovely swimming pool and great access to beach - Beach excellent
Breakfast on beach straight out back.
Room was clean and loved the towel animals each day Wifi could be better
- James (8/5): Very good - Helpful and friendly staff and so close to the beach. Nice colourful garden Nothing
- Zeba (8/5): Beautiful surroundings inside the property, easy and close access to the beach. Lovely stay. - It was very nice, close to the beach, good sized room and good beds. We stayed only for a night in a twin room. We will go there again and will recommend it. Beautiful garden and greenery in the property. We checked in late at night. The staff were unavailable to check us in when we got there and wanted something from them.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Grounds are amazing pool very clean and always quiet..
- Pam (8/5): Very good - Location
- Anonymous (6/5): Was ok for the price - Location and pool area was great . Lovely young man named Gday did sweet towel animals 🥰 made me smile every day 😊 Room is a little tired and bed and pillows hard as a rock. No restaurant on site sadly.
- Helen (9/5): Superb -
- Samuel (4/5): Hotel is ok, quite dated, expect some facilities not working. - Had to move to different rooms and upgrade as rooms were dated and dirty.
- Boon (7/5): Good -
- Isabel (8/5): Relaxing hotel in Samur within walking distance to beach - The swimming pool and the gardens. Perfect location away from noisy traffic but close to cafes and restaurants and within walking distance to the beach. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious.
- Marlé (9/5): Great value for money - Perfect location, near everything.
- Elsie (9/5): Superb - Pool and Gardens excellent. Shops for everything so handy. Maybe the bathrooms could be updated and not much water pressure.
- Tim (8/5): Very good -
- Carolanne (7/5): Enjoyed our stay - Location and pool Shower needs refurbished
No safe
- Tracy (9/5): Fabulous spot really close to wonderful beach. Top staff and excellent for 3 star hotel - Close to beach, fabulous staff and gardens Drainage in shower
- Mason (8/5): Very good -
- Nola (8/5): Very good - Very central to all shops and restaurants. Beach out the front. No breakfast offered, but restaurant down the bottom on beach to buy breakfast.
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Whendi (6/5): The facilities are very tired and desperately need a revamp - Great beach access and lovely gardens and pool. Calm and relaxed
- Rodney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jo (7/5): Good - Great value for money if you need a place to crash in Sanur. It's right on the beach, with a great big pool (but no beach views). The rooms have aircon, WIFI. It's a little scruffy but for the price, it's expected. The location is great!
- Calum (8/5): We have come back to a top notch modern hotel in Legian but far prefer the relaxed atmosphere of Laghawa - Original Bali setting and rooms, peaceful, great swimming pool, handy shopping necessities, Clown on the beach trying to charge for hotel sun loungers, lighter traffic meant everyone thought they had to do 100 kph, not hotel fault,
- Nina (1/5): Gross. - Location Hundreds of fruit flies on the wall, floor, my bed… that died each night. No wifi. Staff were nice but guy at front desk did not help. Request for a partial refund rejected.
- Glenda (8/5): Great location and pool area and good access to the beach. We would stay there again. Good value for money - The pool and the access to the beach We kept losing power on and off over 2 days. Not all units but they got it fixed
- Wendy (8/5): enjoyed our stay here - great affordable place near the beach...loved the towel art when come back to your room
- Rita (8/5): Very good -
