I would visit Mallorca again to stay at this hotel because it was so relaxing. The only "downside" is that there is not much of a town nearby so you either need to take a taxi or rent a car if you are interested in surrounding nearby areas.

Maybe not enough seats by pool during a busy weekend. Staff was very friendly to then reserve for the next day. Long wait for lunch at pool bar. Staff again noticed and was very generous.

We booked 2 rooms - 1 for the kids - and asked to be placed close together but ended up in completely different locations. We were very surprised that for a 'leading hotel' there was no night-time turn-down service.

Excellent attention to detail throughout the buildings, rooms and gardens. A little overpriced, €12 for a beer. Evening menu is limited. There is not enough choice is you are staying there more than 2 nights, we were there 7.

From the moment you drive through the electric gates you are greeted with manicured gardens and view of the stunning period country house. Breakfast was wonderful and had no dairy milk plus the most delicious almond croissant they grow their own lemons and offer trails around the huge property. we have ever had. Some other observations; - hotel is 30-40 mins from Palma town and is very quiet. So not for a big group wanting to party hard I’d say. Perfect for chilling and romantic getaways - hot breakfast ordering little slow/confused so had to reorder and not always correct. - night 1 couldn’t work the AC - not sure if us or it but others in our groups struggled too. Perhaps an explanation is needed when showing us the room initially - no hot water in last morning hotel wide. One of those things with Spanish islands perhaps but a shame as really wanted one - the trails are on a map but no signs so you can’t really follow to easily. We gave up as only had an hour. - didn’t have a spa treatment as quite pricey but the indoor pool looked lovely Overall if I wanted a quieter getaway and happy to chill by the pool /play tennis then this is beautiful. The distance from Palma and beaches etc may make those more ad hic trips rather than daily excursions so something to think about depending on the type of trip you want and if you have a car or not.

- P (5/5): Beautiful property, But we wouldn’t return. - This was our second time staying here, It’s a beautiful property and the gardens are gorgeous, The pool areas is nice and staff is also very friendly. Only price wise I don’t think it’s worth the money and we would definitely choose another hotel next time. They charge you for water at the pool, Although you pay just once and it is refillable, I do think it’s a bit “cheap” considering we paid almost €700 a night, Also prices for the minibar are too expensive, I noticed other people made this comments and management replied that they think it’s “ in line with a 5 star hotel and other hotels” but I don’t share this opinion. We had a room which was in the garden, Very beautiful but the room was a bit tired and “smelly” ( I think because it doesn’t get much day light ) Also a lot of bugs in the room, We kept the doors and windows closed but still we had 5 mosquitoes in the room, And several other bugs.. But well hello, That’s nature right? Overall beautiful place, But Mallorca has so many nice places. Food at the pool is good and prices are also reasonable, Also the cleaning staff gets an 11, The rooms are very clean which is very important for me. At one night we had dinner in the restaurant Olivera, The sommelier was quite “pushy” from the start and we asked for the wine menu, He only showed bottles so we asked for the menu for wines by the glass as we weren’t feeling to have a whole bottle that night, He replied that they didn’t have a menu for wines by the glass and he said I have 2 options for you if you want red wine, So he named two wines and asked us to choose, It was a bit strange as I don’t like this, I want to see a menu and choose myself, Also do I want to see what I pay for what I order, I chose one of the two wines he gave as an option but I felt uncomfortable, So when he came with the glasses I told him I always want to know the price for what I order, He just looked at me and shrugged and didn’t reply and just walked away, It was extremely awkward and uncomfortable and that’s the reason why I don’t like this. Just make a wine list with wines by the glass instead of making it uncomfortable, Also now they could just choose what they were putting on the bill. Also the food was good but the portions are so small it’s ridiculous for that price point. The gym is to be honest not very good, They have some techno gym equipment but it’s not looking very “fancy” there are also no pictures almost to be found of the gym so I guess that’s the reason.

- Cillian (7/5): Good - We were recommended the hotel by friends and very much looked forward to the stay. The rooms are nice. Spa is also decent (Heidi and Clara are great). Two things in particular were unsatisfactory: 1) Every so often, the hotel has a classical music/opera dinner, which is attended by outside guests although hotel guests are invited to attend. As a result, all the hotel facilities are shut down to cater for this event, including the hotel bars and restaurants, and guests are told that they can eat/drink in their rooms. We were only notified about this event after we had booked our stay. For those guests who do not wish to attend this event, it is extremely unfair to be confined to one’s room (we went out for dinner and returned at 10:30pm, where we were told that we had to go to our room). If the hotel continues hosting these events, we would strongly encourage it to think of hotel guests who are not attending the event. 2) On one of the days of our stay, there was an issue with the outdoor pool toilets; there was a smell of sewage and flooding of dirty water. Unfortunately I unknowingly walked in this water in my flip flops. When I alerted the pool staff, I was told that a maintenance guy had been alerted and that ‘this happens when 20m tourists visit the island each year’. Although I don’t dispute that this could happen anywhere, what was frustrating was that i) some of the staff knew about the issue and hadn’t closed the toilets and ii) certain staff demonstrated insensitivity towards guest concerns. Although worth clarifying that once this was raised with hotel management, a sincere apology was provided, as well as a complimentary massage. Some other small complaints; bedroom shower was hot and cold, not enough sun beds for guests at pool and pool decking is aged and out of step with rest of the hotel quality.

And the stuff - the receptionists were so rude and they even tried to charge us twice for the same service , thinking we won’t see it in the receipt . It’s really spoiled the whole impression about Majorca , they really abused my trip and I hope no one goes through the same . 0 out 10 and - out of 10 for the service . Leading must know this hotel only leading to depression hotel , not leading hotel if the world ! Service

Spent two nights here for a romantic birthday celebration and myself and partner couldn’t have been more pleased. Beautiful property inside and out, loved walking the gardens/landscaping. Amazing food at both restaurants (the meal at Sa Clastra was incredible and a great foodie experience). If you can afford to stay here, you should.
