(7/5): Vriendelijke service en een toplocatie, maar de kamers en de privacy-aanpak hebben een update nodig. - Ideaal gelegen op enkele meters van het strand en de levendige bars en restaurants. In tegenstelling tot de lobby is de kamer niet gerenoveerd (alleen geschilderd). Er is slechts één stopcontact en de badkamer is echt aan vervanging toe (beschadigde tegels, oude spiegel, geen handgrepen). De bedden hebben nog ouderwetse dekens, wat anno nu hygiënisch niet meer kan. Het hotel vraagt om een kopie van je paspoort. Volgens de Europese AVG en de Spaanse privacywaakhond (AEPD) is dit verboden; gegevens overnemen is verplicht, maar een volledige kopie/scan is volgens de wet "excessief" en onnodig. Tip voor medereizigers: scherm je foto/BSN af. Tip voor Booking.com; Informeer hotels.

- Christine (9/5): Nah am Strand und sehr sauber - Das Hotel liegt ideal in unmittelbarer Nähe der Meerpromenade. Zimmer und Bad waren angenehm groß. Unsere Terrasse hatte Platz und war sehr schön zum Meer ausgerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber und die Betten bequem.

Lo mejor, sin duda, la insonorización del hotel, porque estaba junto a la playa y a veces había mucho ruido fuera. Limpieza de 10, desinfectaban todos los días con lejía, con lo que ojo con dejar algo por allí fuera, que igual se iba con un manchón desteñido. El desayuno de buffet tenía poca variedad y era algo caro para lo que ofrecía. A mí me sirvió, pero prácticamente nadie desayunaba en el hotel. Y ojo con los enchufes, porque al usarlos es fácil que salga volando el cuadrito de inserción.

- Gabriele (9/5): Empfehlenswertes Hotel - Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage nahe zum Strand, ich hatte Zimmer mit Meerblick. Mein Zimmer und der Balkon waren geräumig. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und äußerst praktisch (gute Beleuchtung, sehr breite Ablage/Schreibtisch, Kühlschrank). Gute Geräuschdämmung. Ich komme wieder, wenn ich in der Gegend bin. Alles war super.

- Ana MG (8/5): Buen alojamiento. - Mi pareja y yo buscábamos un lugar en Barbate para pasar unos días. La ubicación del hotel es estupenda y el desayuno está bastante bien, especialmente teniendo en cuenta que se trata de un hotel pequeño. Las instalaciones, particularmente el baño, se notaban un poco antiguas. A pesar de que todo estaba bastante limpio, algunos detalles mostraban desgaste: el toallero estaba algo suelto, la cisterna también, y los botones del jacuzzi presentaban deterioro. Nada grave, pero sí mejorable

Ropero amplio. Camas comodísimas. Silencio total por la noche. Todo limpísimo. El personal muy agradable. La ducha tiene muy poca presión. El desayuno era variado y abundante (bufet), pero deberían poner mamparas de cristal tapando los embutidos y pan y bollería. Están al aire, lo que es poco higiénico.

Room: A very big room with a good bed, nice furniture and a fridge. The air conditioning was great (not too strong, but very effective). Parking is challenging (in July)
