• Tracey (10/5): Great location, great vibe, we thoroughly enjoyed it. - I loved that the hotel was so central & when you are inside it's so quiet you could be anywhere. The roof top terrace was gorgeous & very comfortable. The whole vibe of the hotel was of exclusivity which made us feel very special. I would have preferred the spa facilities to have been on site not 400 metres up the road, which put us off from using them. This was the only downside to an otherwise perfect weekend.

They try very hard to please. The breakfast was first class, big choice, many healthy options, high quality offerings . Perfect location in a prestigious area in Palma, central to excellent high end restaurants and shops Disappointed with my junior suite, a large room but with no view. It was very dark and not helped with the equally sombre decor and soft furnishings. I viewed other rooms that were much better located. Unable to book a table in the restaurant, well in advance of our arrival, for dinner on our first evening

• Jan (8/5): Top locatie wel met dure luxe ! - De locatie is helemaal geweldig. De kamer ook erg luxe. Het personeel erg professioneel en aardig. Tokio de Lima is ook een top tent. Zeker gaan eten daar ! Niets viel me tegen maar de prijs is net iets te hoog. Je betaalt duidelijk voor de locatie want anders dan wat je verwachten mag van een 5 sterren hotel springt er niet echt iets uit wat de prijs rechtvaardigt. Ja je weet wat je gaat betalen en hebt dus hoge verwachtingen. Die mogen dan wel overtroffen worden....

Location was in busy section of town easy to see all hot spots. Room was a bit dark but ample. They didn’t have valet parking and having to head to busy public parking after traveling to get to hotel was not convenient. Pool was tiny, not really for swimming.

• Ana (10/5): Exquisite - the only place to stay in Palma! - Beautiful elegant historic former private residence that was perfectly located right off the the Paseo de Born, minutes from the Cathedral, the Royal Palace and fantastic art galleries and restaurants. The staff was incredibly helpful- especially Daniel Ramis who gave us the most helpful recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The rooftop pool and terrace was also a nice touch - so peaceful and relaxing, especially for a centrally located hotel. We will definitely be returning to this hotel!

The hotel recommends some excellent nearby restaurants, of which staff are incredibly helpful in booking on your behalf. The hotel itself has a superb restaurant. The plunge pool and sun terrace is a welcomed retreat. Staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive. Absolutely nothing. We love it .

• Ben (10/5): An excellent break away - My wife and I stayed at Can Alomar for a three night break. It was perfect! The whole experience was faultless. From check-in to check-out, and everything in between; breakfast, pool service, dinner, facilities, was superb. I had not stayed in Palma before, so booking the hotel was a bit of luck. It is situated right in the middle of a fantastic area - lots of shops, old town streets containing restaurants/bars/tapas/coffee. I gave sleep quality 4 stars as a road sweeper woke me most mornings around 6am. The bedroom itself was very good.
