Guest Reviews
- Robert (8/5): - There is no disputing that this accommodation has the Wow factor. It is of the highest standard and kept so by the owner.
The location was great for our visit to Berwick as we had our car available.
Breakfast was good but had to be ordered the night before and you needed to adhere to the time allocated - so no over-sleeping!
Robert (the owner) has high standards and these were appreciated.
- Michael (10/5): 3 day break - Fantastic breakfast, ( try the porridge) the host was a hoot rooms were spotless beautiful building, only 1 gripe needs aids to get in and out of bath/shower, as I suffer from back problems.overall I give it 10/10.fantastic.
- Peter (8/5): - Great host
- Helen (10/5): Well worth a visit! - Fantastic stay at a beautiful Georgian manor house. Robert was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble! The house and bedroom are exquisitely decorated to the highest standard and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious too!

- Richard (10/5): - Robert was a wonderful host and the property and location ideal for our visit.
- Chris (10/5): - This is a stunning "Georgian" property in a glorious location with excellent parking facilities. We were met by owner Robert, who showed us to our room and treated us to a slice of home made cake and a hot drink.
The room was spacious, very comfortable, quiet, spotlessly clean and had a gorgeous ensuite bathroom. Tea making facilities were provided and everything had been thought of by our wonderful host. Breakfast was delicious and generous and the home made scones were yummy. There are no pubs or restaurants within easy walking distance, but Robert is happy to make recommendations if you wish to drive or take a taxi. All in all we had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.
- Kenneth (10/5): - Beautiful house in a brilliant scenic location
- Anne Marie (10/5): 3 day breakaway - Our stay has been amazing! Amazing host, even better hospitality, Robert went above and beyond and made our stay that much better. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed

- John (8/5): exceptional - without a doubt the best i have experienced accommodation faultless and Robert the host sublime a trp for my birthday and one i will treasure for a long time
- Charles (10/5): - The welcome we received was warm, friendly and very hospitable.Tea and superb, home-baked Victoria sponge were the icing on the cake. Our host was expert in putting his guests at ease. The accommodation was outstanding with an amazing level of quality and attention to detail. Easily the best bed and breakfast experience we have ever had.
- Walter (10/5): Terrific place to stay - Gorgeous house and wonderful rooms. Robert was an outstanding host. All in all a 5 Star stay.
- John (10/5): Carol and John Dutton from Sunderland - What a amazing property to have a beautiful view and very quiet clean all throughout the property never met Robert before but after many conversations with Robert he’s a well spoken person good with all information about the area all around thank very much Robert for the great three nights break 🌈👏
- Nigel (8/5): - Comfortable accommodation in tranquil setting with excellent breakfast at a reasonable price. The place is spotless and the host Robert very helpful and welcoming.
Would we stay again? Absolutely.
- Graham (10/5): - Robert was a brilliant host very welcoming . The Manor is situated in beautiful settings with stuning panoramic views. The rooms are immaculate and breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Five minute drive from Berwick and Robert gave us plenty of advice on where to eat when we went out. Would highly recommend.
- Janet (10/5): - Wonderful stay, beautiful house in a fabulous setting. Robert is such a lovely host and so friendly. Have already booked to return.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Stunning - An absolutely stunning property with a host that goes above and beyond. Beautiful breakfast options freshly made to order, coffee and home made cake on arrival. We were very impressed and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a little luxury in a short break.
- Josephine (10/5): Just perfect - Robert is a kind, fun and consummate host and we enjoyed a most comfortable and enjoyable stay. Loved the cake and tea when we arrived. We had excellent cooked breakfasts with homemade soda bread on china and silver, crystal and linen. Room had everything we could need for our stay. We even cheekily ordered a last minute celebration cake! Can’t recommend highly enough. Mark and I look forward to our next stay.
- Bob (10/5): Exceptional - Robert was a friendly, welcoming host. The property was spotlessly clean and maintained to an exceptional standard. Delicious breakfast every morning.
- Alan (10/5): Edwardian house in the country - Robert welcomed us warmly into his large and comfortable house. The house and our bedroom was decorated lavishly in an Edwardian style. However, the house was cosy and had all the modern amenities. The bathroom was complete with high quality toiletries and the water pressure in the shower was very good. Wi fi was available throughout the property. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of cooked items. The house is in the countryside but close to Berwick-upon-Tweed and with a few restaurants a short drive away. A special mention to Robert who owns and runs this B&B who is a welcoming and open host. Would definitely recommend highly.
- Jean (10/5): - Robert is an excellent host. His attention to detail in service and style made for a wonderful stay .
- Seahan (10/5): - Wow West Longridge Manor is the most beautiful place we have stayed in a long time, absolutely faultless. Robert is a gem, what a character and his tea and cake very welcome on arrival. Fabulous breakfast but the rooms are the star, so comfortable, high quality furnishings, beds and beautiful bed linens. A good central base to tour around, it’s only about a mile from the A1 and Berwick a five minute drive, St Abbs, Kelso and Holy Island not far at all and well worth a visit. You won’t regret booking here!
- Esther (10/5): - Fantastic B&B. Wonderful welcome on arrival. Rooms are luxurious, comfortable and clean. Lovely attention to detai. Host is amazing and loved his craic. Breakfast is superb. Felt relaxed and at home. Cuppa and cake on arrival. Host is first class. You must visit and stay here as its 10/10.
- Sandra (10/5): Top Notch! - We were pleasantly surprised to to be greeted by our host at the entrance to the property even though we were two hours later than expected!
This warm friendly welcome was just the beginning of an overall wonderful stay! We loved our room which was beautiful, tastefully decorated and very comfortable, tea and cake on arrival and a chat with our host Robert, fresh milk provided daily for our hot drinks in our room. First class breakfast and great banter. To have met and stayed with Robert was an absolute joy and he made us feel very relaxed and well looked after in his gorgeous home - we look forward to visiting again.
- Nicholas (10/5): - Robert is a gracious host.
- Malcolm (10/5): Awesome stay! - Fantastic property and the warmest of welcomes from Robert including coffee and cake. Beautiful en-suite room tastefully decorated. Breakfast was really good with a very decent choice.
Would not hesitate to recommend or to stay again if we are back in or near Berwick.
- Jacqueline (10/5): - Robert was very welcoming. We were met with a pot of tea and a slice of home made sponge. Nothing was too much trouble for our host and it felt like heaven to be in such a beautiful house.

The rooms and furnishing were pure luxury, so much love has gone into making this the perfect place to stay whether it is for 2 nights or longer.
Ideally situated 1.5 miles from Berwick upon Tweed so perfect for visiting so many lovely locations like Bamburgh and Alnwick castles and Lindisfarne.
We felt so at home here we cannot wait to return.
- Christine (10/5): - Robert was a great host! He is located outside of town and is easy to find. Very quiet. Room was spacious and all amenities were provided. Lots of options for breakfast and everything was delicious. We very much enjoyed our stay!

- Gerard (10/5): A warm welcome to a beautiful house - Robert was very welcoming and attentive from the start. The accommodation is very comfortable, spacious and luxurious. Breakfast is fresh tasty and unhurried. A first class weekend break.
- Glyn (10/5): - Wow, what a find this was. Superb accommodation in every way. Quality, cleanliness, service, breakfast. Highly recommended. Could not fault it in any way.
- Christopher (8/5): - Checking in was a breeze.
Stairs to rooms were wide and not too steep so getting luggage to room was ok.
Room was fantastic, large and airy with the biggest bed I have ever seen. There was no shower in the bathroom but the large claw bath is very comfortable and great to relax in after a long drive. Stepping in and out might be difficult for elderly.
No aircon but it is a B&B so should not be expected.
The host was fantastic and he cooks a mean breakfast.
A short drive outside of Berwick upon Tweed but this is not a real disadvantage as most of the things you want to see are within easy reach.
Overall, a great place to stay.
- Keith (10/5): - All good
- Alistair (10/5): - Wonderful friendly host and accommodation. Robert, the owner greeted us with coffee and home-made cake. The Manor House has been lavishly decorated by Robert with opulent furnishings. Our room had a huge comfortable bed and in the big bathroom I made use of the luxurious deep roll top bath. There was a great choice of breakfasts made with good quality food, we had delicious pork and apple sausages and creamy scrambled eggs! All served with different types of home-made bread and scones on a table laid with linen cover and napkins, silver cutlery and china plates. Generous and unique sums up this house and Robert. My husband and I only stayed two nights before returning to our Scottish home and I hope we can stay longer the next time.
- Maria (10/5): - The location and accommodation was excellent with plenty of parking space. Good choice of breakfast which was well presented and delicious. Our host Robert was friendly, helpful and informative. All of which contributed to an excellent stay which we both fully enjoyed.

He greeted us by name on arrival and showed us around. The room was beautifully decorated and a very good size with a well-equipped bathroom. We ordered breakfast the night before and each time is was tasty and cooked to perfection with a good choice of cereals, yoghurt etc. Breakfast is served to everyone around a large table which gives plenty of space for condiments, bread, and so on. The house and its setting are beautiful, and the hospitality unfaultable.
