- Shaun (10/5): Simply PERFECT - We were in an accessible room. Stayed for 2 nights. Simply PERFECT! From even before we arrived we were shown how good the hospitality was likely to be. The room was exactly what you need. Very clean and spacious. The en-suite bathroom was extremely good for accessibility needs. The door swing into or out of the room. Sensory lifting on the mirrors. Drink making facilities in room.

Breakfast out of this world. A bit of a tricky place to find but trust your Sat Nav/Google maps and you’ll be fine! Well worth a visit.

- Giovanna (10/5): - Double Gate Farm is ... A Find. Quiet, relaxed and comfortable with excellent attention to detail. In the room we found REAL COFFEE with a Cafetiere, a fridge for our own items should we need it (even some so-called major hotel groups don't provide one). The room was super-clean, airy with huge sliding doors giving onto a terrace and river, field and sky view. With good outdoor furniture to relax in. If privacy from the next-door neighbour is needed, then a screen can be pulled across giving you total solitude. Bliss. The Team here goes the extra mile to make your stay exactlly as you want it to be; breakfast is sensational too with excellent quality eggs, bacon, granola and so on. Super-organised, super-friendly, super-discreet, we loved our long weekend here.
- Kenneth (10/5): A great stay in a great location - On arrival at our accommodation we were welcomed by Debbie, who straight away made us feel at home. Our room was one of a few tastefully converted in an old farm house, so had character as well as being in a peaceful setting. The room was well appointed with everything we required, tea/coffee, biscuits, cakes & not only the usual TV but a radio as well. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. A lovely big shower with ample hot water in the ensuite. The breakfast was superb, giving us a great start to the day. There was lots of space outside to sit & relax. Debbie & her husband couldn't do enough, giving info of the surrounding area.

- Carolne (10/5): Hidden Gem - A warm welcome greets you. Delicious home made cakes and selection of other nice things to eat from the tea rooms. Breakfast is full of local produce and yummy! Very clean, nice pub next door. Beautiful scenery and if you have river side then the beauty of waking up and sitting outside watching the wildlife with your morning cuppa is rare to find. This is a hidden gem. We had a great stay!

The room had everything that we needed and more - nothing had been left out or overlooked - even a blanket, bowl and treat for our dog. The only slight down side for us was the lack of a proper grassed area nearby that we could excercise our dog on. I am sure we shall be back at some time in the future.

Wonderful room with outlook to river. Saw a family of baby otters. Only slight problem which the management know about, is the lack of curtains in the room. Every morning at 5 am woken by the light and could not get back to sleep. Staff were fabulous. Thank you. See you next year.

- ANDREW (10/5): Lovely place lovely people will be back with - Upon arrival thought I'd booked into the working farm opposite I hadn't I'd booked into the place I thought I had and once in there you didn't realise there was a farm opposite lovely greeting included tea coffee and a lovely slice of cake and an introduction to the family and the young ones love of crisps!settled in had a shower that had excellent facilities for anyone who could be staying there lovely comfortable beds clean room lovely hosts couldn't have asked for more yet was encouraged to if we thought it was needed.Lovely vegetarian breakfast for myself and plenty of options for everyone to eat whatever they wanted on the whole a really pleasant stay with a really nice family as our hosts we will definitely be returning and bringing our daughter to play on the tractors with the w little boys soon!thankyou double gate farm Andrew and Fiona
- Verified traveler (8/5): Friendly staff and a super quiet location - Our room was in the main house, shared by the family and their three young boys. The room was beautifully decorated, the four poster bed was super comfortable and the oversized bathtub in the bathroom was a real treat. The breakfast included fruit, cereal, yogurt and assorted fresh fruit as a starter, followed by a hot made to order entre and a choice of coffee or tea; toast and jams were also available. Staff were super friendly and accommodating.

- Neil (8/5): A quaint farm conversion B&B - A warm welcome awaited on arrival and the room was very spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately it was baking hot and humid and it was uncomfortable sleeping but, short of installing air conditioning in the rooms, I'm not sure what else could be done. Pub conveniently located almost next door which served excellent food. Breakfast at the B&B was good although there was a bit of a wait for it.

- Dave (10/5): Quiet Location - Stayed at this B&B which also has self catering accommodation for a few days. Met on arrival by the friendly owner & was immediately offered tea & cake. Our large en-suite room in the main farm house was large & very well presented. The large bathroom & shower was also well fitted with good quality furnishings with toiletries supplied. The breakfasts were excellent with a super range of eats available. The dining room/conservatory, which was also used as a tearoom for passing trade had super views across the garden & surrounding countryside. We had a very enjoyable & comfortable stay here & would have no hesitation to recommend this well run B&B.
- Mel (10/5): Picturesque B & B in quiet location - This was a return visit with family and we weren't disappointed! Owner was very friendly and welcoming as were her father and staff previously. Rooms are clean with good facilities. If we had to give any constructive criticism, we thought the breakfast could be improved but the home-made cakes more than made up for that. Although Double Gate Farm is located in a village, it is close to the towns of Glastonbury and Wells and there is a brilliant quirky pub next-door. We will definitely return!

- Elizabeth (10/5): Fantastic B&B - This was our 2nd visit and everything was great. Offered coffee and cake on arrival in the tea room that doubles as the breakfast room. We didn't try afternoon tea but it looked really tempting. The room had a double and a single bed and both were made up as I ad requested twin configuration. Very comfortable beds, loads of accessible sockets for chargers, straighteners, etc. Bathroom included two handbasins, one at a lower level for wheelchair users. Emergency pull-cord if required, plenty of room to manoeuvre and grab rails around the wet-room and toilet. Completely level access from the car park and out of the patio doors onto the terrace overlooking the river. We were asked to order breakfast the day before but if you change your mind on the day this isn't really a proble for Terry the chef. Lovely views from our room across open fields and across to Glastonbury Tor.
