• Richard (8/5): - The hotel itself seemed nice but our room was not great. It smelt bad and the covers had stains on them. It was surprising as the public areas were clean and newish but the room was a let down.
• Gillian (6/5): - I only stayed one night after landing very late. Room was ok and breakfast was good but the main thing I have to say is that I emailed them twice and sent a message on their contact page to book an airport transfer but didn't get any response so had to find an independant one.
• Richard (4/5): Awful - Our flight was delayed 8 hours.we needed something close to the airport and chose this. Horrible. Cold shower… no shampoo. Dirty and dark. Awful.

• Syed Wovaizh Ghouse (6/5): Cleanliness and Maintenance - The hotel was not up to the star category standard. Facet in the Bathroom was broken and didn't fixed until we vacate the room. Also bad smell in both washrooms. Not properly maintained for cleanliness, found cockroach in wash rooms

They refused a room for a confirmed booking for two women who were traveling alone that too so late in the evening.and they did not even apologize. They then said they were doing the women a favor by assigning them to a sister hotel that was hidden off the road.

• Edmund (10/5): Always a good choice to book hotel thru hotel.com - It is skyways good to book thru hotel.com. I was been upgrading again for this stay. Originally I was in a smaller room but the internet was an issue. After sending my concern and inform the front desk, they upgrade me to another bigger room and what important is the internet was working. Very happy with the corrective action taken.
• Sherrie (2/5): Only a stop over hotel. - It is good if only for one night. We were there for 2 weeks. The kitchen was bad. Breakfast was bad. Mosquitoes & flies are everywhere!! Never done any fogging! The swimming pool are always full of school children! Or some private swimming lessons.. it is a good stop over hotel.. that is all..
• Verified traveler (8/5): When you need an ok place close to the airport - Quick stay close to the airport as we arrived late. The staff was nice but the room we stayed in was in bad shape. The hot water in the shower was boiling but after dialing in a sweet spot we could shower under a few sizzling drops. The breakfast was ok and the hotels pool and restaurant feels like good value for money.

• Lukas (6/5): Poor breakfast,not for long stay - Breakfast had to be included in the price but hotel wanted to pay it. Breakfast was poor and expensive (poor selection) mostly toast and jam,not tasty saussages, eggs average.
• neil (4/5): Images can be deceptive - On first impressions this is an attractive hotel especially by Sri Lankan standard. The entrance area and the pool area are very nice but the rooms are very poor. In the room which we used the shower area was unquestionably dangerous. I have retained images The hot water was supplied by an electric water heater which was plugged into a socket on the wall. I have no problem with this but the socket was approximately 60cm from the shower head and cable was repaired by tape! This was within the shower area at shoulder height. Oh and there was the issue of water dripping through the ceiling at 5am. I went to the reception and asked for a new room and I requested an upgrade. The new room was worse there was no upgrade and no apology. The bathroom in the "new" room was even worse in terms of cleanliness but at least you could have a shower. I no problems in staying in tents, hostels etc but this was a really disappointing venue.
• MNR HJM (8/5): Problem with Booking through bookings.com - The hotel was fine, but the booking went wrong. I made a booking through Hotels.com. When arriving at hotel on Friday the 13th June 2015, my booking could not be traced. We did contact by telephone Bookings.com but they could not help. Apparently my booking went wrong, it was for Tuesday the 9th. I still do not know whether a payment went through or not for the 9th. I had to pay cash for Friday the 13th at a higher price than what I did book on the internet.
• Minh (6/5): Airport and function - They woke me up by phoning me in the night because they forgot to add the drink to the diner bill. They did not provide nail clippers. The power plugs are behind furniture. When I said I had a flight at 0710 they offered to call a taxi at 0815. They said taxi was 800 rupees, then 700 which is several times the fair price.

• Verified traveler (4/5): under repair - quick stop over hotel which is close to the airport. But they were doing lots of repair work and carried on drilling and banging til 11pm, which was unacceptable only good for a quick stop as the location is good, but the service could have been better
• Verified traveler (4/5): Has potential but avoid until late march 2015. - Terrible, first they didnt find my reservation and wanted me to make a new one and pay on the spot. Had to call hotels.com and then they found my reservation. Avoid the hotel during daytime until end of march. Its a building site and hanging out in the room or pool is impossible for me. Pretty ok room for being Sri Lanka. The room stank so a guy came and sprayed air freshener in the entire room. Very nice service people. Also very good. Breakfast included! The hotel look really nice to hang out by the pool for a say before departing, but that is after the construction work is finished.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Nice hotel, close to the airport and easy to get t - My wife and I were on our honeymoon and arrived into Colombo International airport late after midnight. The hotel reception stayed up for our arrival to welcome us and in the morning after breakfast were very helpful in arranging for a driver to take us to our next destination (Tissamaharama). The hotel rooms are nothing outstanding, but they are clean, comfortable and have AC and fans. We didn't have any issues with light or noise in our room as the hotel is off the main street.
• John (6/5): Nice but smelly and loud - Very friendly helpful staff. Restaurant lovely but comparatively expensive. The room smelled terrible (drain in bathroom) and there was only one power socket (in the smelly bathroom). Our landing was infested with drunken middle aged men who swore shouted, argued and banged about from 0200 to 0400 about which the hotel staff did nothing.
• Paz (6/5): Convenient for being close to the airport - It is a simple hotel, where I won't be more than 1 night, but nice enough to be close to the airport and not to have to cross Colombo. It has a nice swimming pool, but the rooms are very simple and the quality of the restaurant very poor
• Janne H (10/5): Excellent food - Fine place to stay the night before you leave from Colombo airport. Ten minutes with tuktuk or taxi to the airport terminal. We had a very delicious dinner in the evening.
