• stewart (4/5): - The fact that the hotel has its own parking and although the drinks were a bit overpriced the restaurant served a good dinner selection Very frugal breakfast. Most breakfast items were not available because of an event going on in the restaurant. The hotel changed our rooms without notifying us. After a long day of site seeing we arrived back at the Hotel to be told that there was a leak in our room and they took the liberty on their own to switch rooms. They moved our clothes from the closet that were on hangers by rolling them in our suitcase instead of keeping them on their hanger while switching rooms. Our belongings were all scattered. As we approached our room we noticed shoes outside our old room and found that suspicious. That night we realized that they gave our room to Guests that clearly complained about being next to a loud snoring neighbor that was next door to them which was now next to us. This was a bait and switch to move us out because we were leaving the next morning. The snoring kept us up all night! Clearly there was no leak in our room. The Hotel Staff lied to us, there was no leak. The Guests complained about the snoring and we unfortunately were penalized. Another nuisance: our room was directly outside of the Pool and Jacuzzi. The loud group of people carrying on in the pool until 9:30 pm didn't help. Not a peaceful hotel. The Staff Didn't Handle This Situation Very Well And above All Lied.

The beds were comfy, the food was great and the pool was a lovely way to spend the afternoons. The hotel is a quick taxi to the centre and it was The highlight of our Mexico trip.

• Marianne (8/5): The staff made our stay - The staff really made our stay. My partner experienced some health issues, and they arranged a doctor to come and see him on a Sunday morning. Our room was spacious, clean and beautiful. Booking is advertising that an early check in is included in the price. As others noted, it is not. I’ve reached out to Booking, and they admitted they did not align this with the property, but one way or another they won’t change the advertisement.

• Marina (10/5): Overall, we enjoyed our stay and truly appreciated the property’s beauty and warm hospitality. - The grounds, rooms, restaurant, and overall hospitality were excellent. While the property itself was beautiful, the surrounding location did not meet the same high standards. Additionally, the spa was not sufficiently heated.
• Anne (10/5): A beautiful and peaceful Oaxaca retreat with a lovely pool, excellent bar, very good wine, fantastic food, and wonderful - A beautiful, peaceful oasis in Oaxaca with fantastic food, a lovely pool, and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is full of character and feels very special. The staff were exceptionally kind, accommodating, and welcoming, which made the stay even better. The only downside was the multi-level design with a number of unusual steps and level changes around the rooms and walkways. It looks stunning, but guests do need to be very careful as some of the steps can be easy to misjudge. I misjudged one of the steps during my stay, which made me realise that older guests or anyone with mobility issues would need to take particular care.

Will come back. - First of all the rustic design, modern design, open air, close to the sidewalk, residential neighborhood vibe appealed to me instantaneously. The visual worked all day long and just when the sun set the diffused lighting kicked in. Beautiful to look at, be in, and share all day long. Every single meal at the Hook Blue restaurant was a hit. Delicious! Minor stuff, curtain puller in Room 109 disconnected, light bulb in the recessed wall light no workie. The shower door made an awful popping sound when you shut it like glass was going to shatter everywhere. In the grand scheme of things, those minor flaws were nothing. Spa was barely warm.

• Claire (9/5): Très bel hôtel calme et propre avec bon niveau de services - Très bel hôtel! Fidèle aux photos! Jolie piscine, terrasse ombragée et calme. Les chambres sont grandes, propres et confortables! Restaurant sur place, pratique pour dîner, comme le centre de Oaxaca est loin. Parking sécurisé avec valet! Terrasse sympa pr le petit dej! Le seul défaut de cet hôtel est qu il est à 50 minutes à pied du centre de Oaxaca. Mais nous l avons fait à pied et c est facile et sans risques! Nous avons aussi pris le taxi pour rentrer à l hôtel pour environ 8€!

• Richard Levine (10/5): A wonderful retreat in Oaxaca - It was a relaxing quiet haven after a day exploring busy noisy Oaxaca. We spent the enjoying the pool and gardens and lovely restaurant. We enjoyed walks inthe neighborhood. Trees in bloom and interesting restaurants. Amazing! The hot tub could be a bit hotter.

La piscine et le Jacuzzi ont été très appréciés, même si le personnel nous a indiqué qu'ils pouvaient chauffer plus le jacuzzi le dernier jour après qu'on soit sorti de l'eau! L'hôtel était calme et la chambre spacieuse. Le lit était confortable Les draps de lit avec des cheveux le premier soir et bien qu'on ait demandé de nettoyer la chambre le jour suivant, le scénario s'est répété. On a donné notre linge à laver et il est revenu avec un t-shirt et un pair de chaussettes qui ne nous appartenait pas et il manquait une de nos paires de chaussettes.

The hotel was beautiful, the facility was immaculately clean and decorated to perfection, the rooms were large, the staff was kind, the food was delicious. I could go on and on! I will be returning to this hotel for my next trip here. Everything was perfect. I have no complaints!

• Danche (9/5): Segunda ocasión en este hotel! - La habitación e instalaciones, ambas muy cómodas. La gerente Marian arruina la experiencia en un hotel que podría ser extraordinario. Esta es la segunda ocasión que nos hospedamos aquí. El hotel es hermoso, con instalaciones espectaculares… pero todo eso queda opacado por el trato inaceptable de la gerente, Marian, quien nuevamente mostró una actitud hostil, prepotente y completamente fuera de lugar. Durante el check-out comenzó a acusar por una bebida que no se tomó, repitiendo la misma acusación una y otra vez, aun cuando se le aclaró con firmeza. Su insistencia llegó al punto de decir que “por esta ocasión lo iba a pasar”, como si estuviera haciendo un favor por algo que nunca ocurrió. Ese tipo de comentarios no solo son ofensivos: son una falta de respeto absoluta al huésped. La situación escaló tanto que otro miembro del personal tuvo que pedirle que se calmara, lo cual dice muchísimo sobre el manejo que ella tiene del trato al cliente. Y lo más grave: terminó insinuando que la bebida podría haberla tomado un familiar que ni siquiera se hospedó. Una acusación gratuita, absurda y totalmente impropia de alguien que dirige un hotel. Es lamentable que un lugar tan bonito esté en manos de alguien que se dedica a confrontar, insinuar y acusar, en lugar de resolver, dialogar o simplemente tratar a los huéspedes con la mínima cortesía. Dos visitas, dos experiencias negativas. No hubo mejora, no hubo aprendizaje y claramente no hay profesionalismo. Mientras Marian siga al frente, es muy difícil recomendar este hotel.
• Jose Eduardo (4/5): Not quiet, not calm feels almost like a scam - Clean, pretty, good food at the restaurant Incredible noisy, karaoke/DJ like private events almost every night up to 11:30 PM. We call reception to complain several times and they can even barely hear me, and of course there was nothing they can do as the private events were already booked. Terrible experience will never ever come back or recommend.
• PRISCILLA (9/5): Lovely accommodations, friendly staff. - The breakfasts were very good. Javier who waited on us each morning paid attention to what we liked and needed. He was very accommodating. The coffee is not as strong as we would have liked so several ordered cappuccino instead for an additional $. The rooms were large and comfortable. We requested a room change when we arrived and they quickly accommodated us. The pool and hot tub and surrounding area was lovely although the hot tub was really just a slightly "warm" tub. We had several meals at the hotel and all were very good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Marcos at the front desk was especially helpful. The parking attendants (Phillpe?) and staff were all attentive, friendly, and kind. We booked a tour (Alfredo) through the hotel to Hierve el Agua and several other stops. There were 6 of us so we requested a larger van. The hotel layout is nice but there are lots of stairs and is a bit like a maze. This may not be a great place for someone with mobility issues. The MUSIC (bad karaoke?) from the outdoor restaurant upstairs was loud and played starting in the afternoon until 10pm. There was a wedding party one night! Although they stopped promptly at 10 this made relaxing by the pool and our stay much less enjoyable. We chose to stay outside of town, 10-15 minute drive. The price seemed about the same as a hotel located in town so seemed a little high.

• Patrick (9/5): A wonderful place to stay with friendly and helpful staff - hotel staff were friendly and helpful at all times, we arrived late the day of our arrival and there was plenty of staff available to help with room check in and luggage. rooms are spacious and comfortable and nicely decorated with local art. bathroom shower floor is heated. the onsite restaurant had a good selection of local cuisine with a friendly and helpful staff. Recommend using a driver from the hotel for visiting sites in the city of Oaxaca. This facility is multilevel being located on the side of a hill and not recommended for guests with mobility access needs with scooters or wheelchairs, staff were always present to help navigate stairs and ramps, strangely accessible ramps either began or ended with a step or two.

• Alan (10/5): Awesome! - The rooms are very clean, and it has a great shower with HOT water. We stayed at a few hotels in Oaxaca on our vacation and that was a huge issue. The breakfast is really good. The staff really will try to accomedate you. Location is far from central, but we stayed in central for 3 days and you can pretty much cover a lot. It is more of a relaxing mode for us. It was great place to relax after going hard and seeing as much as we could in the city. I really like the restaurant. Food was good. The workout room could use a small rack with some free weights. I think it could be an adult only. I don't think it would affect their business, maybe help. It is very quiet for allowing families though. Maybe heat the hot tub and keep the water temperature to a hot tub temperature. It is far from central. But again, great place to relax.
• Emmanouela (9/5): Excellent hotel outside of Oaxaca's busy center - Very nice boutique style hotel outside of the city center. Breakfast was very good, although after a few days the choices you get can feel a bit repetitive. Excellent staff, super helpful and quick to assist. Pool area offers a relaxing break. They can also arrange massages in your room. It can get noisy from the restaurant which is located on the top floor; there was a día de los muertos event on our first night there and the loud music would reach our accomodation on the ground floor.

Room was nice and big and very comfortable. Very good value with the breakfast included and the welcome drinks. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again. It’s a little far from the city center, but taxis are abundant and they are cheap. It’s only about a 10 min ride downtown.

• MARCO (10/5): - Overall, really liked Casa de Adobe. The facilities and rooms are gorgeous, staff is very nice, however they claim to be 6 min driving from the downtown area and this is not true. It is approximately 15 minutes driving from downtown, which is pretty inconvenient if you were thinking of walking somewhere for dinner, etc.

Me hizo pensar en uno de esos dibujos por MC Escher con escaleras subiendo y bajando por todos lados, niveles incontables, artesanías y pisos exquisitos. Patio, piscina, jardín todos obras de arte. Ascensor de vidrio. Silencio de noche. Restaurante maravilloso. Tripulación a la vez acogedora y professional. Una sugerencia: Mi habitación no contaba con enchufes suficientes. Tal vez un Cube en la mesita de cama, con unos USB también.

Disfruté mucho la calidad de las instalaciones y la atención cordial del equipo, que realmente hace que la estancia sea agradable. Valoré mucho la atención personalizada de algunos miembros del personal y la comodidad de las habitaciones, que hicieron mi estancia muy placentera. El hotel es excelente: las instalaciones, la limpieza y la atención del personal son muy buenas. Sin embargo, considero que falta personal para mantener este nivel de servicio. Contratar más empleados permitiría reducir los tiempos de espera en el restaurante y mejorar detalles que realmente cuentan para los huéspedes. Por ejemplo, en mi estancia, la gerente retiró mis toallas para dárselas a otro huésped, dejándome sin las necesarias. Este tipo de situaciones afectan la experiencia y podrían evitarse con suficiente personal y mejor organización.

The hotel has a roof top terrace and an open patio from which all rooms go off. That means you can hear every single sound, from the bar, the restaurant, all other guests. And there have been unannounced very loud concerts in the bar/restaurant area. The hotel is hosting events for companies and private ones, there is always something going on that adds to the noise. The pool area is nice but if you hang there, you have event participants around who can watch at you all the time. Not recommended for people who seek a bit of privacy or quiet.

Nice food at the restaurant and amazing staff who deliver the best service to you The location is little far from the centre so do not expect you can walk around this place.

La atención del personal es excelente, y eso aplica para todos, recepcionistas, valet parking, meseros, todos, absolutamente todos muy amables y capacitados para hacer sus funciones. Además la comida buenísima, una delicia. Y las habitaciones muy muy limpias. Grandiosa estancia que pasamos con mi familia. Con seguridad regreso. Todo, todo fue excelente durante mi estancia.

• Marilyn (9/5): Superb - The staff were eager to please and provided wine glasses and were eager to meet our requests. They called taxis and other details to enhance our visit. The room was decorated with high end furnishings and the bed and shower were perfect. The wifi wasn’t sufficient to steam videos.
• Djinni (10/5): Wonderful retreat - Gorgeous accomodation with the nicest, most wonderful staff. Our room was spacious and spotless. The food is wonderful. Casa de Adobe is a 10-15 minute taxi ride north of the main area, so a quiet, location with good amenities close by and easy access to the main tourism areas of Oaxaca.
• Paula (8/5): Pretty hotel with nice rooms but don’t expect a hot tub jacuzzi that is truly warm - Rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. Hotel is nice. I booked because had a hot/tub jacuzzi listed, but was not hot only lukewarm so unable to use. Pool is unseated and jacuzzi maybe in 80s. That was disappointing. Also their credit card machines not working well for hotel or restaurant. Had to try different cards several times to pay.
• Delfino (8/5): If you don’t mind the noise this is a nice hotel. - The place is beautiful nice seating areas, The staff were super nice and helpful. Beds are comfortable. The food is good. The noise. They had an event with loud music. The elevator was not functioning and the restaurant is on the 3rd floor. The pool was not heated only the jacuzzi. The rooms felt dark and stuffy.
