I travel for work and sometimes I don't know if I'm staying in a particular area, so i booked this quite late at 5pm because the hotel I prefer, whose reception is open until 8pm had no availability. Apparently i was supposed to notice on booking.com something mentioning i had to call to organise a late check-in, which i missed in my haste to finish work. Reception called and asked "Didn't you see the note" - did an excellent job of making me feel like an inconvenience. My sincerest apologies, i shall try to book my regular hotel earlier next time. The bedding feels old and 'flat', but typical to what you'd expect in this price range.

- Ann (7/5): A pleasant stay - The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The rural setting was quiet and attractive. It would have been nice for the wash basin to be updated/replaced. The glass over the top of the beside tables wasn't clean. We weren't given more milk for the tea etc on our second day there. The toilet paper was folded under as if a service had been done...? Over all though it was a pleasant and nice stay.

No shower gel it was empty at 6 in the morning and unwholesome noise we worked out was the water pipes from the neighbour in the shower. The attendant on the desk was rude when I asked questions at check in
