Guest Reviews
- Jacques (8/5): Pleasant stay, excellent service - The service was excellent. We got help with every problem we had, eg. getting a SIM-card, leaving our luggage after check in, getting my friends shoes fixed, etc. We booked a day package from the hotel (incl. car). Our guide (Mahindra - hope I spell your name right) was excellent, he answered all our question about language, culture, history etc., he even cooked us his favourite meal (goat-stew) at night after finding out we would like to try real local cuisine. We really felt very welcome.
The rooms could be improved, so could the cleanliness, however we found out that stainded bed-sheets is nothing uncommen in India. Also dont be fooled by toiletries, slippers or sound-proof rooms. Toiletries is a small hand soap, no slippers and the room was not sound-proof.
The roof-top is really nice, we did however have to wait quite long for our breakfast (about 45min).
So all in all we had a pleasant stay. I would come back as the service was really excellent but would hope the cleanliness picks up a little.
- Neha (2/5): Pathetic - I couldn't able to stay in hotel ramsingh as per my booking done for the day Tuesday 5th dec. As it was under renovation and thet didnt even bothered to inform us regarding the same. We went there and they said they will refund the money back. Which i have not got yet.
Its very irresponsible of the hotel as well as this site to harass a customer like this.
I request you to refund my booking charges.
- G P (8/5): WILL GO AGAIN. - Value for money.
- Joseph (6/5): Nice hotel, shame about the people running it - The staff were clearly very unorganised and in the third attempt of trying to take additional details from us, including sensitive information, got very rude and abrupt.
The hotel is in fine condition, the staff are terrible.
- Verified traveler (4/5): We need hot water - There was no hot water in the room as boiler was not working. I heard it was the same for other room in same floor. Breakfast was prepared in a bit dirty kitchen. White eggs had black dots on them from something else... They need to clean kitchen properly!
The reception was friendly and helpful. Location is OK, not far from train station. Quiet to sleep.
I was charged for last night, though I paid for it. Hotels.com have not replied to my complaint. Ko
- Tk (6/5): Decent hotel with not so great facilities - You will find all the places near but with little more facilities added to this it can be a better place to stay.
- kunal (6/5): - decent
- Ankit (6/5): Avoid if u can - Not a very popular hotel, very hard to find. Took me an hour to search it, where it shud have taken hardly 10 minutes. Staff isnt the most courteous. Better hotels available in the vicinity.
- Harshit (4/5): - the room was very suffocated....
- Kaukab (8/5): Jaipur visit - It was pleasant stay in hotel Ram Singh Palace.
- Senthil (6/5): Average hotel at the city centre - The hotel was clean but do not have any elevator. The food is also pretty decent. The wifi didn't work at all.
- Vishal (8/5): excellent - i was there for 2 days it was good stay at ramsingh palace hotel.
food is good but location bit in side the city
- Verified traveler (10/5): nice hotel - The hotel was nice. toilets were not very clean but ok. beds were really comfortable. staff was helpful
- Daoud ali (2/5): Very poor - Very bad experience in whole of my life
- Soumen (8/5): Soumen's visit to Hotel Ramsingh Palace. - Although the hotel was good the service was poor with lights not working and room not cleaned. moreover water was not flowing properly in the basin tap.
- ps (6/5): Slept in my clothes - Was shown 2 rooms, picked the one with less stains on bed sheets. Because of camel fair it was priced higher, not sure how much a night is otherwise but it was definitely overpriced during camel fair.
hot water has to be switched on/off outside of room every time.
Location is good.
restaurant upstairs is cheap and good with veg bufet although not much variety.
view is nice from rooftop.
- Shiva (8/5): - It is very well located very close to the bus station and railway station. Clean room, staffs are very very helpful. The arrangement of taxi for visiting other places was really good. Thanks to the overall team at Hotel Ramsingh Palace.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good option, value for money - Positive features: Very helpful staff, approachable to all known tourist destinations, nice rooms
- Rihan (6/5): Budget hotel which offers the basics - Stayed at the Ramsingh palace for about three nights in September, 2014. Note the following points -
1. It is a pretty basic hotel & some of the comments praising the hotel are sheer exaggerations. At Ramsingh palace, you get what you paid for
2. Had to pay Rs. 300 extra to upgrade to an AC room
3. Wifi doesn't work in all the rooms. You have to come out to the lobby to be able to connect sometimes
4. The hotel itself is located slightly in the interiors, parallel to the Station Road, Sindhi camp. Most rickshaw wallahs we met had no idea where the hotel was. There is a liquor shop nearby, so if you are taking your family along, then you might want to be careful.
5. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk, so if you intend to travel outside Jaipur, this might be a plus point.
6. The restaurant & room service is so-so. There was no table in the room, so I had to eat on the bed, but there are some restaurants nearby so that may not be a show stopper. I also did not find any slippers or anything as mentioned in the hotel description at Expedia
7. The hotel also has weird AC plug points. You might have difficulties connecting mobile chargers or other devices to these sockets.
All in all, this is a pretty basic hotel which offers the basics. But please don’t expect a lot.
- Sfy (6/5): Cheap- you get what you pay for - Humongous cockroach, power outages and a bad room- but the Guys who run this place are kind and helpful.
