Guest Reviews
- Angelika (9/5): -
- Nigel (10/5): Keep doing the same. If it is not broken, don't fix it. - Food, location and staff were excellent.
The safari tents were the best we have experienced. It would be better to stay longer!
- David (6/5): - Naming of location was misleadng. (Bell Gorge is nowhere near property which is located in a unattractive area). Staff were a bit over the season and not as willing to help as other Kimberley places we visited. Maybe could benefit from extra training or maybe difficult to attract good staff to a bad location?
- Yannick (10/5): Perfect! -
- Susanne (10/5): - We don't usually stay in luxury accommodation, thus this was an experience we enjoyed. The food was excellent. We enjoyed being pared up with anpyher couple for dinner and breakfast. It was VERY pricey, but unfortunately the only accommodation available between Mt Elizabeth and Mt Hart. Also be aware that the majority of co-travellers come as a big group.
- Michael (8/5): - The facilities are very good, as is the food.
The parking is a little inconvenient, and it's quite a way to lug your luggage to the glamorous tents. There are little trucks, but that part of the experience is a bit off-putting, but the rest was very nice.
- Rosalind (9/5): - The only thing missing g was a hairdryer! No hair dryer!
- Andrew (10/5): Amazing staff, great place to stay A+ - Friendly staff clean and easy to get to. Dinner was amazing.
- Diane (10/5): Amazing place to stay!! - An amazing place to stay. The glamping tents were luxurious. The restaurant was casual and fantastic, but the food was fine dining. A fabulous atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent as well. The staff were just delightful. So helpful and enthusiastic about their jobs. Definitely a place I would love to return to. N/a
- Allan (10/5): - Tent glamp, gourmet meals, superb service. Luxury in the Outback.

- JUNE (8/5): Cosy stay in the middle of nowhere - We were so fortunate to be the only guests there so obviously we had an amazing stay and it would’ve been a very different experience if we had to share the place with 30-50 other guests. Staff were very friendly and attentive and food was great. I only took a star out because it was impossible to get hold of the lodge and APT travel when we needed to find out about road conditions getting there following heavy rain and road closures throughout the area
- Effie (9/5): Superb - Stunning accommodation and amazing restaurant with great staff. Mainly caters for the tour operator but ‘outside’ guests are welcome. Best shower! Being canvas tents, you can hear the other guests quite well (talking, snoring, watching videos on IPads)
- Ruth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Philip (9/5): Superb -
- Alexandra (6/5): Nice - but not worth the money - Comfy beds, bathrooms were lovely and clean. Tea and coffee station was good. Garden and sofas were nice to chill on. Oat slice in the packed lunch was amazing. Staff seemed insincere, for dinner and breakfast times we were sat with all other guests on a communal table which was overwhelming after a long day out, we didn’t feel we could say no which for the price was disappointing, staff not super accommodating to our requests, staff every night stand up and introduce themselves and get you to clap them which felt unnecessary. Also advertised pastries for brekky which we were dreaming of, but when we got there, there were none. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. Not good value for the price. Seemed to be a communication issue between head office and staff at location as my dietary requirements hadn’t been passed on.
- Terence (8/5): Very good - Accommodation and facilities Nothing of note.
- Bernadette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Timothy (10/5): - Wonderful location and stay
- Sk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kb (9/5): Wonderful - Great location, well set up and spacious ‘tent’ with a very good bed and a fabulous view from a lovely verandah. Dinners were really excellent and beautifully presented and served. We were lucky enough to have a tent on the edge of the property with a unobstructed range view ( despite being independent travellers to this otherwise heavily APT tour group property). We loved it. Nothing really, maybe the BBQ for the hot breakfast choices but that’s just personal preference.
- Stephen (9/5): Excellent stay - Fantastic dinners and breakfast comfortable bed shower great room layout great staff very nice would stay there again Nothing
- Fiona (10/5): - Loved our experience. Staff were amazing and the food was delicious! And the bed and shower the icing on the cake!
- Prue (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hans Peter (10/5): Excellent - if you have a chance go there 👍 - Great location- very friendly staff - the food excellent and very tasty - didn’t expect it - we enjoyed our stay very much!!!!
5 stars *****
- Aileen (7/5): Well located stop with everything you might need. - Location, food, tents Just comes up short for the price
- Ryan (8/5): Very good -
- Wil (10/5): Best lodge on the Gibb Road - staff, working as motivated team. Excellent cook!
- Guy (9/5): Superb - great place in the Gibb River Road
lovely tent, nice meals and camp fire
recommend the bell gorge hike and swim
- Katherine (9/5): highly recommended night of luxury to break up camping along the Gibb River rd - beautiful location, comfortable glamping with updates facilities, lovely food. the shower fluctuated between scorching hot or cold
- Owen (10/5): - The quality of the service by Olie and his team , combined with the incedible facilities made for a wonderful stay. All this in an extremely remote and beautiful location.
- Nick (10/5): a perfect stay - so comfortable yet so different and in the middle of nowhere. And the place was spotless Our accommodation was close to the dining area, and had some lighting overflow from outside spotlights. Very few accommodations affected by this and we didn’t notice after awhile
- Lesleyanne (9/5): great. - beautiful tent and furnishings. very well designed and laid out. Food very good. no fire lit after dinner. would have been nice to sit around it and chat for a while
- John (1/5): An unfulfilled dream. - Nobody told us we couldn’t get there without a bullet-proof 4x4 with at least one spare wheel and an air compressor. Our compact 4x4 just couldn’t make it. We drove 1000k trying to get in from both ends and lost all our money - Stg£660 for 2 nights then more money for alternative accommodation, Having flown in from UK we feel guidance was lacking to say the least.
- Meera (10/5): Incredible location, services, cleanliness, decor and food. One of the best experiences of our trip. -
- Sharni (10/5): nice spot - beautiful eco resort with all amenities it’s very expensive and was very cold
- Jenni (10/5): We had a very good stay. - Friendly staff, good meals and very peaceful. lack of hot water. Not being able to park our car on the property.
Leider relativ teuer.
- Judi (10/5): Pamper time - Lovely pampering experience after camping in the dust. outback. Delicious food and friendly staff.
- Naresh (8/5): Lovely spot in the outback - Lovely staff, very comfortable tent with all the modern facilities. We enjoyed out food that given the remote location. Very central to checking out all the gorges in the area. We stayed 2 nights but 3 would have been better.
