• PATRICK (2/5): Inconcevable ! - Cet hotel est une gloire passée totale. C'est une vache à lait dont on tire toujours un maximum de profit sans aucun investissement (depuis 20 ans, le temps s'est arrêté ici, je suppose). Il n'y a pas de restaurant, seulement un café et des fast-foods de qualité médiocre. Passer la nuit dans la voiture me semble plus confortable.

Pour l'eau chaude il faut il faut faire couler 5mn (j'étais au 3ème) après c'est bon. France 24 à la télé mais avec une image quasi nulle. WiFi dans la chambre avec un Internet rapide. Lit très confortable

• Mehdi (4/5): - L’hôtel en lui même est de bonne qualité et le personnel est attentionné. Toutefois, je suis resté bloqué dans l'ascenseur près de 30mn lors d'un de mes déplacements. Le matin du départ, ils étaient en panne et j'ai dû descendre mes bagages du 3ème étage à pied. De plus, les autres clients sont peu respectueux des valeurs du pays. Pour finir, nos voisins de chambres étaient très bruyants (TV à fond toute la nuit). Je n'ai pas passé un séjour agréable.

Bien ensonorisé car à côté de l’aéroport.navette gratuite pour l’aéroport . Spectacle musical pratiquement chaque soir. 3 bons restaurants à l’hôtel prix raisonnable je suis venu avec ma femme et mes 4 enfants et je reviendrai avec plaisir. A noter les chambres vont être rénovées sous peu. Enfin clientèle faite pour moitié d’étrangers. Ne changez rien

• Axel (6/5): - Le choix d'une suite executive dans une partie "VIP" de l’hôtel n'a pas été fructueux, la chambre n'était pas à la hauteur des attentes, pas très propre, pas très spacieuse. En revanche un changement de chambre a été effectué immédiatement pour une autre suite propre dans la partie "Standard" de l'hôtel.

It was necessary to ask questions to get basics informations, like room location, pool and restaurant as well. no lights in the room, the tv' remote control battery were flat. In the restaurant, it was horrible, no choice, just one menu, the vegetable not fresh and the meat not tasty at all.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointed and never again !!! - The air condition was not working, the bathroom door was so noisy. The bathroom was dirty and the towels are old and smells bad. The toilet was missing papers. Had to change the room after several attempt to fix the air condition. Finally got to move to another room but the air condition was so noisy I had to shut it down and open the window to get fresh air instead. The elevator is not safe as it has squeezed my wife while she was getting inside the cabin It is not worth the money they charge !!!

• Verified traveler (4/5): A fuir - Hotel très quelconque par rapport au standing qu'il revendique. Le hall est certes somptueux, mais les chambres standard sont très médiocres. Le plus regrettable reste le service, qui brille par son amateurisme flagrant : * aucune réponse aux e-mails envoyés avant mon séjour, afin de m'enquérir sur les équipements disponibles * lors du check-in, ma réservation n'a pas été trouvée. Le personnel n'a fait aucun effort pour retrouver la trace de ma réservation, alors que j'ai eu confirmation de la part d'hotels.com que ma réservation était bien confirmée par l'hôtel * lors du check-out, qui a duré 45 minutes (!!!), le personnel a tenté de me faire payer le séjour une nouvelle fois, alors que je l'avais déjà réglé en ligne sur le site. Appel au responsable des réservations qui n'a rien voulu savoir. Finalement, échange téléphonique avec le chef de réception, qui consent à me libérer, en échange d'une photocopie de mon passeport, ma carte de visite et l'empreinte de ma carte bancaire. Quelques heures plus tard, je constate un débit sur mon compte bancaire : l'hôtel a eu l'indélicatesse de se servir sur mon compte sans mon consentement. J'apprends par la suite qu'il s'agit en fait d'une pré-autorisation. J'ai été profondément choqué par cette indélicatesse. J'ai contacté un conseiller d'Hotels.com, qui a été exemplaire. Il a pris en charge le dossier et a contacté l'hôtel pour clarifier la situation. Pour ma part, c'est la dernière fois que je séjourne dans cet hôtel.
• CARLOS (6/5): DESSU - Chambre mal isolé. On entend tous. Le personnel de la reception n'a aucun respect. Il font du bruit toute la nuit. cela fesait longtemps que je ne fraiquanté pas cette hotel. au niveau de l'isolation je savais déja. mais le personnel a beaucoup changer. Pour me trouvais un táxi j'ai dut parler a 3 personnes de la reception. au niveau du personnel il a perdu beaucoup de qualité.
• pacof576 (6/5): Above Algerian standard - The hotel it´s a bit pricey, but as a rule of the thumb, if you want a decent hotel in Algeria be prepared to pay more of what you would pay in another countries (as an example Ibis Alger is 115 €/night). The room is clean and everything is on working order, hot water and AC works well, credit card is accepted (something not common in Algeria), both the buffet and the Italian restaurant are good but expensive (same rule that for the hotels). Only down is that wifi connection is quite slow sometimes.

• AD91959 (8/5): Reasonable hotel for a third-world country - I attended a conference at this hotel and expected a lot worse considering the previous reviews. I wish there were a button for 'good'; I would have used it, because I was reasonably happy with my stay. The room was adequate, clean, with its own A/C. It had ugly functional furniture, and clean bedding. The bathroom was big and had a good shower with great water pressure. I did not use hotel toiletries, and there was a bit of a sewer smell but you got used to it. You could hear the noise in the adjoining rooms, as well as in the corridor so it made for fairly noisy evenings. Adequate food in the restaurants, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wifi was better in the lobby than in my room. Far away from the center of Oran, but right near the airport.
• KevEv (4/5): Great looking hotel, disappointing experience - This hotel is very deceiving. It looks very grand and opulent when you arrive at the reception but that image soon leaves you when you reach your room. I stayed here for two weeks on a working trip and although the room was comfortable and clean it was not a very nice place to stay for a long time. The first time I had a shower in the very basic bathroom the water was a sort of golden brown colour. The fridge was useless and was actually warm inside, so the bottles of water in it were not very refreshing (the temperature of luke warm tea). There was no internet connection in the room, although the wifi connection had an excellent signal? The internet was only available in the lobby but the connection was very slow. It disappeared completely for four days, during which time the staff on the reception would tell me each day that it would be working tomorrow. There are two restaurants, a buffet style one upstairs and an Italian one downstairs. The food was adequate but not good enough for what you pay. The staff were very unwelcoming, apart from the two guys in the bar who managed to provide a good service with a smile and a nice bowl of nuts with the bottles of beer. If it had not been for the two guys in the bar and the small bottles of Stella I would have really hated the stay in this disappointing hotel. Algeria has no tourist industry and I think this hotel sums that up in the way it provides nothing in the way of a welcome or any real comfort.
• DNLs_mum (2/5): Basic hotel. Not worth the price. - Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights while on a business trip. We paid EUR130 per night and it is definitely way too expensive for a hotel of this quality. The rooms and bathrooms were basic. Bed linens seems reasonable clean, but I did not use their towels. I was not sure if they were originally beige in colour, or just stained. The hotel claim to be 4*, but is defnitely not 4* by international standard. Buffet dinner and breakfast had very limited seletion. Dinner is actually quite expensive given the quality of the food. This hotel only accepts visa and not amex. They charge additional fees if you pay with credit card. I decided to pay cash in DZD. The cashier actually did not give me my full change and claimed that she has no more change. She asked me to wait until she gets some change from other guests. Needless to say, I never got my money back. Also, if you pay cash, they hold your passport. I was definitely not comfortable with that.
• josmon10 (4/5): OK for just one night - I booked this hotel after several others turned out to be fully booked (there's a shortage of decent hotels in Algeria). The first impression of the building and the lobby was goods, but the room left a lot to be desired, and especially the bathroom, as you can see in the pictures. And the hotel is pretty new! No internet in the room, only in the lobby... I was there for one night, but had my stay been longer, I would have gone somewhere else. Looking forward to the brand new Ibis Oran. It's better the devil you know... :-)
