• James (6/5): Regret staying here - When I first checked in, I had to quickly request a new room as the main door to the room wouldn't close. The next room I got, the shower was broken and the shower head wouldn't attach to the wall. The pool was nice to swim in during the day and the rooms otherwise were OK but as someone who's been to Gran Canaria many times before, I won't be staying here again.
• Peter (4/5): Mja, en gång räcker. - Behöver rustas rejält. I köket var det mesta i dåligt skick, som lådor, dörrar, kylskåp.Lagat med tejp i badrum. Mycket kryp av olika slag i köket. Slog ihjäl ett tiotal varje dag. Möjligtvis beroende på att vi bodde direkt över restaurangens kök. Kryp bara i köksdelen.

• stuart (6/5): disappointed - ive been coming here for many years but unfortunately my last stay will probably be my last. i arrived late afternoon and couldn't get into the front gate which is now closed all day.Another resident finally let me in but i still couldn't get my key as there is no one on the desk. my phone was having problems so call were difficult to make and i finally got my key from the keybox 90 minutes after arriving. After travelling all day it is the last thing you need so i will now go elsewhere.

• Geoffroy (8/5): Bonne localisation mais besoin d’une rénovation - La localisation à proximité de Yumbo est idéale pour sortir le soir et rentrer sans taxi. L’appartement comporte 2 pièces et un balcon : la chambre est spacieuse avec des placards, le séjour dispose d’une petite cuisine et d’une table haute. Par contre les équipements sont assez vétustes (carreaux cassés dans la douche, vaisselle…). L’isolation phonique n’est pas bonne, on entend les véhicules de la rue.
• Lukas (8/5): - Great budget option if you don't want to spend lots of money. All very minimal, basic and a bit old. However, it's still good value for money.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Never again - Nobody there to greet me. No emails. Text. Phone calls. Nothing. Had to text and call an emergency number to get a code for the key. The reception was closed for the first 3 days. There’s no courtesy room and no storage for luggage so I had to hope reception was open on my leaving day and collect it before they shut. After dark there’s no lighting outside the rooms so you’re fumbling in the dark in the corridor. Also the pool is right beside the main road so it’s really noisy with traffic all day. There was also a packet of loob on the stairs the whole time I was there. Awful place. Never again.

• Ian (8/5): - The hotel was closed to all amenities and not too far from the beach. The pool was lovely. The room was spacious. The only negatives are the noise from the road outside and also there was snot smeared on the walls
• René (8/5): - As mentioned in previous reviews, this is not a luxury hotel. The rooms are very clean and equipped with almost everything you need. Since there is no air conditioning, I recommend getting a fan because the heat can get trapped in the room. Wi-Fi is offered, but at least not in my room, the connection was not stable due to interference. Unfortunately, the reception is not staffed 24/7 as advertised; it’s more like 4/2. However, the lady who was there was very friendly, and the rest of the staff is also very nice. The hotel is a 10-minute walk to the beach, with a private entrance, and just a few minutes away from the Yumbo shopping center. Due to traffic, it can be a bit noisy, and the area is somewhat lively. Personally, I really enjoyed my stay overall, and the value for money was absolutely reasonable.

• Yaiza (6/5): Básico, cómo siempre - No me gustó el servicio recibido ya que no habia nadie en recepción a la entrada y tuve problemas con el wifi y no fue solucionado. Mi sensación era que la recepcionista no tenía ganas de trabajar.

You’re given a key for the main gate ( which is kept locked after 10pm ) unfortunately it’s a faulty lock and took ages to try and get in at times , noticed staff and they already knew about it , said nothing could be done .

• Romano (6/5): - You'll get what you paid for this property. Staff are friendly, cleanliness is spot on, and great location the only downside is the wifi was very bad if you looking to connect and update your work emails and stuff.
• Mia (8/5): You get what you pay for - This hotel was much better than the reviews I'd seen online - it looks like they've really cleaned up their act, literally. For a budget stay we would recommend it. The main selling point is the location. You are a 1 min walk from 2 supermarkets providing a wide array of food, souvenirs, etc. Also across the street is a "fun pub" - great if you are sports fan, or from UK/ Ireland with games until 2am. The apartment itself has a lovely balcony and sunloungers which were quiet, the pool is cold saltwater but we found this quite refreshing. The complex itself is quiet, even with "noise" from the street you can get a good nights sleep. Great for couples. We were pleasantly surprised to receive housekeeping and wifi, however the wifi was intermittent so we mostly just relied on EU data packages. Housekeeping was hit or miss with some days they didn't turn up, other days turned up at 9am, and some days didn't clean parts of the rooms. The room comes with no hand soap. By far the worst part of the stay was the check in experience. We were late arriving at around 8pm due to flight delay. From when we initially checked in the gate (about 8 foot tall) was left wide open. This didn't happen again throughout the stay but was a bit unnerving. Nobody on check in desk and no instructions given, phone numbers listed on desk had no response on the first few calls. It would have been useful to receive check in instructions in case of late check in. The safe in the room also did not work.

• MICHEL (6/5): Réception, à améliorer - Lors de ma réservation, j'avais précisé, si possible être au dernier ou avant dernier étage de cet hotel, pour lequel je revenais pour la 2ème fois. A mon arrivée le réceptionniste s'est rendu compte de ma demande, cherchant comment y répondre, à fini par appeler son collègue, en lui disant que cette demande n'avait pas été solucionnée ! Il a terminé part m'octroyer une chambre au 3ème, cela pouvait aller, mais enfin 20 minutes d'attente aurait pu être évitées.

• Guy (10/5): Bon rapport qualité prix - L'hôtel est très bien localisé aussi pour aller à la plage ou au Yumbo. Le bus aéroport-maspalomas dessert un arrêt à 150 m de l'hôtel et ne coûte que 3.50€. Le personnel est très accueillant

Una estafa! Ya que tuvimos que dejar el coche en parkings de pago cuando viene claramente especificado que el parking esta incluido.

Haupteingang zum Hotelgelände Schloss kaputt. 4 Gäste standen gegen 2 Uhr morgens - vom Hotel ausgeschlossen. Balkon Schiebetür quietscht sehr laut beim Schließen. Loch in der Decke in der Küche. Fließen und an der Deck in der Dusche mit Flecken - Schmutz. Leider ist man als Gast zu beschäftigt mit den Problemen mit dem Hotel um einen entspannten Urlaub zu genießen. Beschwerde wurde bei Expedia gemeldet - Expedia Mitarbeiter versprach, er meldet sich innerhalb **48 Stunden**. Es gab keine Rückmeldung seitens Expedia.

• Jair (8/5): Un gran descubrimiento!!! - Los apartamentos ofrecen servicios muy superiores a los esperados... Limpieza 5 días en semana, wifi gratuito... Lo que para un complejo de 50-60 € día es inesperado. Los apartamentos son grandes y espaciosos y diaponen de lo necesario para pasar unos días confortablemente. Muy bien situados cerca de la bajada a la playa y del C.C. Yumbo, con sus restaurantes y paradas de transporte público. El trato humano excelente. En general la experiencia ha sido muy muy buena y recomendable.
• Verified traveler (10/5): LAS GACELAS MASPALOMAS - El apartamento está aceptable por el precio y la ubicación, pero tiene muchas cosas para mejorar , como por ejemplo los utensilios de la cocina ollas y sartenes que se pegan , microondas viejos… en positivo quiero destacar la comodidad de las camas ya que me quede sorprendido, la limpieza no está mal pero también se podría mejorar, se debería mirar mejor el suelo y debajo de las camas , la piscina estuvo varios días con el agua sucia que venían al mantenimiento pero no se ponía bien el agua , la zona de las tumbonas estuvo sucia varios días nadie limpiaba la zona de las tumbonas , y el agua se salía de la piscina varios días uno de ellos resbalé y estuve apunto de caer, y de lo mejor la recepcionista Desi, muy correcta y profesional cuidando a los clientes y atenta de todo !
• Louis (4/5): - La ubicacion esta muy bien. La cocina reciente renovada tambien. Ahora, en el 2022, lo veo absolutamente inacceptable que un hotel no tenga aire acondiconado. Despues de haberme enterado que no habia aire al entrar en la habitacion, yo mire la pagina de expedia y efectivamente no esta incluido aire acondicionado en la lista de amenidades del hotel. Pero estaria absolutamente necesario que este indicado en letras grandes que NO hay aire en el hotel, porque lo consideramos como una caracateristica estandar que cualquier habitacion debe de tener, como una cama, por ejemplo. Debo de decir que los empleados eran muy corteses cuando se los mencione, pero ni tenian disponible un ventilador. Un otro asunto es que la piscina faltaba de limpieza y que las almohadas eran muy sucias.

El personal súper amable y atento, sobre todo las camareras de piso, un encanto todas. Yo si volvieras a las palmas volvería allí. Y por último, el precio por lo que ofrece esta súper bien.

Great Staff! - The hotel staff and facilities were great, the room was comfortable, everything you need along with a great shower, there is no aircon but with the balcony doors left open, there is a nice breeze. The only thing that was a little bit annoying was that you could only use the gym during certain hours in the day that weren't that convenient to me.

Pga koronaviruset måtte vi sjekke ut etter tre netter og komme oss hjem. Hadde egentlig bestilt og betalt for ti. Har bodd her før og anbefaler dette stedet til alle som vil bo sentralt og bra i Playa del Ingles.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - È un appartamento a due stelle, non si può pretendere chissà cosa, comunque pulizie ogni due giorni ben fatte, mi hanno piegato più di qualche volta delle magliette e in un'occasione lavato anche due bicchieri lasciati sulla tavola, una nota negativa è la piscina salata come l'acqua del mare e a mio parere poco pulita, non tutti in reception parlano inglese quindi un pochino difficile farsi capire, posizione della struttura ottimo...

Trotzdem man in den Anzeigen Werbung macht mit Satelitten-TV, war dies die ganzen drei Wochen nicht vorhanden. Es war nur die terrestrische Antennen mit einigen spanischen Sendern angeschlossen-. Doppelminus. Da ich mehr oder weniger geschäftlich dort war, war ich auch auf eine gute Internetverbindung angewiesen. Das WiFi Netz im Hotel war aber unter allen Kanonen und hat oftmals garnicht funktioniert. Allerdings: Für einen Urlaubsaufenthalt, bei dem man nicht auf TV und Internet angewiesen ist, war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Ordnung.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - the position of the property is excellent on the door step for the yumbo centre, but reception check in was awful the guy hd gone off to another hotel and left a note that he would be back. we when off for a 1 hour and then on our return he was just leaving the recepetion again but we managed to shout it him and finally got booked in. on leaving we left a bag with reception and on our return they where not there again so had to sit and wait for their return not good as we where going back to the airport so time was tight to wait. could do better there as I did email them and say that we where arriving around 20-30 so they should have remained there until that time at least
• Robert (8/5): Nice hotel... but needs an upgrade - All went well for the stay of a week in march 2019... The hotel is generally good, but is showing signs of wear... The sunbeds need to be replaced as very poor condition. The Tv did not work in the room, no real problem as I was not bothered about watching it... The back of the Hotel needs some improvements as Is quite run down, but this can not be seen from the front of the hotel., but is quite unattractive once you reach beyond the reception area. overall the hotel is small but offers all you need for a short break in the sun,,,

• Graeme (8/5): Love the location - The hotel is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants and also the beach. The apartment is clean and comfortable, a little on the small side, with basic facilities but enough for a comfortable stay. Staff were very helpful.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - I liked the location of the apartment, Farley clean, you can see that it's an old building with make up on it, you can still see the wrinkles. The cooker broke after using it once, however it was replaced with a new one the day after. The beds were very comfortable, the sliding doors of the garderob were out of the rails and I fixed them. Long term neighbours were playing music nearly all the times. Great apartment if you need a place where to sleep but not for relaxing, all the flats face the main road.

• Andrew (8/5): Colourful, Comfortable And Accessible - Perfect. - The first thing you notice about these apartments are the colours. No other apartments are audaciously painted on the outside in such a way. As a marketing idea it works brilliantly. When booking accommodation this year and being unable to get in at any of our other preferred places we usually stay, (is there a connection between my glowing reviews and me not being able to rebook with the places reviewed again?!!) When we saw these come up in our search we immediately remembered the garish colours and knew exactly where they were. There's a lot to like about these apartments. They're spacious, clean, well presented and accessible. As there are no obvious notices diplayed it is not clear whether additional services can be hired or purchased. These are close to all the amenities you'll need in these self-catering apartments. Supermarkets aplenty offering fresh bakery products and all the other things you'll need. The kitchenette contains all the things you'll need; crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, microwave, kettle, toaster. Failing that there are plenty of eating places for all budgets close by in The Yumbo Centre or for the bigger budgets, the restaurants on the seafront offer great food and, in some, cabaret. Please note: Check-in isn't till 1.00pm. Rooms are cleaned regularly. Towels every second day. Lovely shower. In fact there are many positives. Whilst we were there, we noticed that some refurbishment work was underway, our room didn't require any upgrading.

Salt water pool not chlorine and plenty of sun loungers and South facing so we got the sun all day. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Beach about 10 mins walk a 2 mins to the yumbo centre

• Monika (10/5): FLOR we love you! - First of all - big, big, big thanks to Flor for being so fantastic, extremely friendly, customer-orientated and knowledgeable! Our stay was awesome mainly thanks to her, she's very committed to being excellent in her role, very warm and so so helpful - nothing you ask her is a big deal... Bless you and good luck with everything in life :) The apartment was cosy but spacious, we had everything we needed and felt very good. The only thing I would mention is some delicate maintenance that could be improved - i.e. if you take a longer shower the water starts running cold, also the TV didn't work but apart from that we thought it was very decent value and the service was that one factor that made it great and outstanding. Will definitely be back when in Gran Canaria!
• Steven (4/5): Nice location, but could use a/c. A bit noisy. - The hotel has a decent location near the Jumbo Center and bus stops. There is free wifi, but it is only available in the lobby and by the pool. With no a/c the room could have used a fan. There was a cross breeze with the patio door and bedroom window open, but lot of noise from street traffic and folks heading home from the bars. It looked as though at one time the room may have had blackout drapes in the bedroom. This would have been helpful as the corridor light was near the window so the room was never dark. The kitchenette was furnished for 3 people with unmatched plates, silk are and glass. Just a few pans, no can opener and a coffee maker, but no coffee filter or and basics like sugar, salt & pepper. Best market was at cc Sandia, 7 minute walk. Markets at Jumbo center were expensive.

• Neo (2/5): Handy location - full stop. - These apartments are very tired and run down. I arrived late evening, despite this being noted on my booking no one on reception. I had to telephone the receptionist to ask to check in. The apartments are the last word in 'All Exclusive' not a bar of soap. tea towel or a bottle of water in sight. The tiling around the shower was rancid, filthy. Other guests??? were trying to complain but as none of the staff speak any English there is no point trying to complain. Total rip-off the result of making a last minute booking for a busy week in Playa del Ingles.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Cheapest hotel, good for the money, and cool wifi - The hotel is just like any other hotel without aircondition in playa del ingles. There´s a bedroom, livingroom with kitchen and a bathroom. This is standard in Playa del ingles. If you want A/C the prices change. I bought a Electric fan for 20 euros, and it Work great. The beds are a bit hard, and two twins beds do not Count for a double bed. But the location is perfect, right across Yumbo, and the pool is nice. And this hotel is very cheap compared to other similar hotels. Positive: The hotel offers a portable wifi system. A Little wifi device that you can bring with you, when you go out, so you are connected all the time. Other hotels only offer wifi on the hotel premises. I find this to be a great service, since I was actually able to take my laptop to the Beach and Work on it with wifi. Also I could connect my phone to it. I have not seen this in any other hotels in playa del ingles, and i meet many people, and nobody had something similar. Negatives: People would get up and "reserve" sunbeds in the morning, and then go of to breakfast. I find this wrong. The sunbeds are for peope WHO are using the pool now. The hotel should have clear rules that unless you are using the sunbed, you can not reserve it for hours and not show up.

• Gary (10/5): Excellent position, had everything i wanted - Very pleasant helpful staff. Clean room, comfortable bed and great shower. My only criticism is that there was no kettle but chuck some tea bags in the coffee percolatir and you get a great cup of tea! The hotel felt very quiet even thogh it is on a main road. Great position for the Yumbo cenre, just two miniutes away. Im already planning to go back but cant find it on expedia now???? I can recommend you rent the mobile wifi device, it was brilliant to be able to take the device around with you to the beach etc.
• Crawleyflyguy (10/5): Great Location - The Apartments are very good value for money and outstanding staff very friendly and helpful. This is my 2nd time at this complex and would def be booking it again.
• Chris (8/5): Very Central & Very Good For The Rate You Pay. - This was my 2nd visit, I was on the top floor and for the rate I paid I was still very impressed. The location is central with the Yumbo Centre a minute away and the beach less than 5 minutes away. Balcony’s face on to the very large pool, and another hotel across the road. (Note - this is a busy road, so please expect a bit of traffic noise if you have the windows open). The apartment was clean and tidy. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bedroom is at the rear of the apartment so the noise from the front of the hotel is really not an issue. The kitchen has plenty of crockery, pots and pans etc. for you to eat in if you want. There is a large LCD TV, but as far as I could work out, there was only one UK channel. (There is no remote control in the any of the apartments) Towels and bedding could do with a bit of renewal – very thin and basic Wi-Fi is charged at £18 for the week (this is a wavenet thing, so you can use it on several hot spots throughout Playa Del Ingles). There is No Air Conditioning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also had maintenance sort two problems I had with the lights within hours. There is no staff on at night, so you have to keep your key with you, as the main gate is locked. I wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again, and recommend to others. This is an ideal budget apartment hotel, which offers a lot more than your average Gran Canarian hotel, and has the major bonus of being super central!
