• Elena (9/5): - La struttura era grande, accogliente e pulita. E anche l' onsen pulito e organizzato. Il Ryokan è in una posizione un po' defilata dal centro per cui conviene spostarsi con i mezzi. Avendo la macchina lo abbiamo prenotato vista la disponibilità di parcheggio, ma con il senno di poi, si potrebbe optare per una soluzione più centrale considerando i tanti parcheggi in centro città, se si preferisce camminare a piedi. Ma al di là di questo, tutto ok!

• Laura (10/5): Muy buen Ryokan - Todo muy bien, pero las habitaciones era lo más para vivir una experiencia 100% japonesa. Estaba un poco lejos pero se compensa con un servicio de mini bus que ofrecen a X horas, y los taxis no suelen ser caros tampocos.
• Carina Viviana (10/5): Es la segunda vez que visitamos Takayama y que nos alojamos en el Ryocan Murayama. Lo volvimos a elegir por la comodidad - La habitación impecable y súper amplia, con una vista espectacular. El onsen divino y el desayuno exquisito Nada, todo me gustó.
• jeantot (10/5): Esperienza fantastica in stile tradizionale che consigliamo a tutti! - Meravigliosa struttura tradizionale in zona tranquilla e poco distante dal centro della bella Takayama che si può raggiungere in 5 minuti con la comoda navetta messa a disposizione dalla struttura. Presente anche parcheggio per chi come noi viaggiava in auto. Camera in stile tradizionale, ampia e molto ben curata, con futon per dormire e kimono a disposizione. La struttura è dotata anche di onsen di cui si può usufruire gratuitamente. Noi abbiamo richiesto anche cena tradizionale (carne, pesce e opzioni vegetariane) e colazione che abbiamo trovato di ottima qualità. La colazione viene servita anche con opzione occidentale. A pochi passi a piedi si può raggiungere lo stupendo villaggio tradizionale di Hida No Sato con le tipiche case con i tetti di paglia e una splendida vista sulle montagne giapponesi. Nel complesso l'esperienza è stata fantastica e la consigliamo a tutti. Niente.

We found the futons very uncomfortable and as a result got very little sleep. This was compounded by stomping noises coming from the room above us early in the morning. Whilst breakfast was good it has to be preordered and is served between 8am-8.30am. Hot water is provided in rooms but nothing else, ie cups, tea, etc

La atención del personal excelente. Usamos dos tipos de habitación las premium y las regulars. Las premium son excelente las regulares están bien. Las habitaciones regulares podrían mejorará un poco la estética de los cuartos. En especial las puertas y algunos daños en baño. Y la vista de cuarto. Pero realmente todo es funcional y cómodo, son detalles estéticos.

From the moment we arrived, the host was exceptional: warm, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our stay comfortable. The traditional setting is beautiful, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need (and a few extras we didn’t expect!). The location is fantastic—peaceful yet convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The attention to detail in both the accommodation and service really stands. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting a genuine and relaxing ryokan experience.

Sehr gut der Shuttle Bus in die Stadt. Die Waschmoglichkeiten war bis auf einen Männeronsen sehr veraltet und nicht angenehm zu nutzen. Aussicht vom Zimmer auf den Hinterhof war nicht gerade meditativ.

Frühstück (europäisch oder japanisch zur Auswahl) hervorragend, Feuerstelle am Tisch für gebratenes Ei, etc. Muss rechtzeitig am Abend davor gebucht werden, ebenso wenn man dort Abendessen möchte! La cena fue toda una experiencia, pedimos el menú estándar y todo estaba delicioso, no paraban de traer cosas mientras nos iban explicando lo que era, hasta mi madre, que es muy quejica con la comida japonesa, se comió todo. Los dueños son muy serviciales y risueños. El baño público es pequeño pero suficiente, estuvimos solos por la noche. Los futones para dormir eran muy cómodos y calentitos. Es como viajar al pasado con un gran servicio del futuro. Las vistas desde el piso 3 eran espectaculares. ¡Gracias! Para ir desde la estación de Takayama nos fue un poco engorroso utilizando su servicio de recogida en bus, ya que llegamos minutos antes del último bus y no era suficiente escribir vía booking, necesitaban una llamada telefónica avisando para venir, tuvimos que pedir a una persona por la calle que llamase por nosotros, pero al final nos recogieron sin problema. Creo que deberían hacer más caso a los mensajes de booking para el tema recogidas.

• Hortensia (9/5): Relax y tranquilidad - Está alejado del centro, pero puedes ir andando o en autobús, hay horas disponibles durante la mañana en las cuales te pueden llevar al centro gratuitamente con el autobús del alojamiento. Esta muy cerca de Hida no Sato. Tienen servicio de desayunos y cenas si los reservas, esta vez pedimos la cena y fue muy completa, pudimos probar muchos platos tradicionales que estaban riquísimos. La habitación era muy amplia y bonita. Para el onsen, hay opción de baño público separado por sexo y privados para parejas, grupos y familias. Super relajante y muy tranquilo. Y todo el personal es muy amable. Hay lavadora secadora que funcionan con monedas de 100 yens. Esta es nuestra segunda vez en este alojamiento y sin duda repetiría. La experiencia de dormir en futón debe ser algo que te guste, porque para algunos puede no ser algo muy cómodo. A mi personalmente me gusta.

• Martin Vaughan (10/5): This was our third visit and look forward to a fourth. - We are an older couple traveling with friends. This was our third visit to Ryokan Murayama and if we can swing it, we will stay again. The hotel is located outside of the main downtown area which we like because it is quieter and less busy. A short walk up the hill is the outdoor historical museum Hida No Sato featuring the gassho-zukuri farmhouses and buildings. We enjoyed visiting this museum much more than Shirakawago which was extremely crowded with tourists. There is a free shuttle bus offered in the morning into town. The breakfast and dinners are superb, the rooms are Japanese style some with shared bathrooms and others with private bathrooms which we had. The owner and staff are friendly and most helpful. A wonderful place to stay and enjoy Takayama. everything was perfect

Private Onsen available No en suite toilet, which, if staying a a busy time, could be an issue. It was fine for us though. The Onsen was too hot to use to be honest. Couldn’t use it really.

• Clara (10/5): Estancia idílica pegada del bosque - Los onsen, tanto privados como compartidos, fueron una experiencia única de relajación. Los yukatas que teniamos y las habitaciones eran preciosas, te llevaban al Japón antiguo. Sin duda una eperiencia a recomendar. Hay que reservar el desayuno con un dia de antelación.

• Foon Hou (10/5): Nostalgia fun - Nostalgia feel. Dinner was good experience for the adults. Toilet has a persistant pungent smell. The kids (3 of them) don't really know how to enjoy the set meal. Maybe provide a kids meal for selection or update a small notice in the menu that it is more enjoyable for 18yr and older kids.

• Thanathon (10/5): Cozy and kind people :-) - The room was very clean and the facilities are nice. The staff are very kind! Artificial onsen, but a good one.
• Steffie (10/5): Heerlijke ruime kamer in het mooie Takayama - Een fijne grote kamer, misschien ietwat gedateerd, maar goed onderhouden, vriendelijke host, die ook Engels spreekt. Goede verwarming. En naast een publieke onsen ook een privé onsen aanwezig. Het ligt wel zo’n half uur lopen van het oude centrum, maar wij vonden dat geen probleem. We hebben zelfs een nacht bijgeboekt.
