- Peter (2/5): - DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!! The bed is the size of the entire room. The carpet was stained and sticky. The aircon stank like it was full of mould. They turned off the hot water around 7am on a Monday. And they charge as much as a real hotel. Disgusting, overpriced and uncaring staff.

The ONE BIG ISSUE I had was the room I was in. It was on the Foyer level. Was very noisy from people coming in and out. ..then the staff very very noisy chatting in the hallway in the morning. And I had some sort of office that was connected to my apartment, with a door, it was locked but could hear EVERYTHING from that room, including swearing at times. Think its SO WRONG to have this connected in this way. NOT HAPPY AT ALL....

- Lenore (4/5): Totally Disappointing - Very disappointing stay. Air cons were missing parts and had elevated noise. Dishwasher was broken and dangerous to use. Carpets were stained and smelly. Ceiling lights not working or broken. TV display flashed for 5 min's after turn on. Fan in bedroom unusable, noise was deafening. Pool was very cloudy and green. AWFUL. Bedside lamp flash's with cord movement, dangerous. Location is good and handy to resturants.

My room was very tired, mould in the shower, paint peeling from shower room, curtains that didn't close properly across the window. But, the bed was comfortable, aircon worked great and the place was safe. It's certainly not somewhere I'd stay as a destination but if all you need is a room for the night, with very basic and tired accommodation it's totally fine.

- Jeanette (6/5): - I was very disappointed as on my arrival at 11pm, while there was tea and coffee and sugar and a fridge, there was no milk for a simple cup of tea, and the reception was shut.
I also got affected by the global Microsoft outage and my flight was cancelled, so missed one of the 2 nights accommodation i booked. I rang but the property manager could not do anything about it.He say he would waive any penalties on changing the dates, but that i would have to go through wotif to organise that. I couldn't see where to contact wotif to try and arrange that, so it cost me one nights accommodation and it was completely outside my control.

Dishwasher appeared to be broken for a long time and no sink detergent available to wash up the old fashioned way. Lots of patched holes in the walls and door inside the unit repaired crudely. Bed was worn out and uncomfortable with springs sagged and also poking through. A tired property.
- Shane (8/5): Hotel Vine Stay - Stay was ok the apartment needs some attention carpet was stained, the walls had marks and dents in the kitchen area, the shower door requires some adjustment. The dining table was also in need of replacement. Apartment otherwise was comfortable enough and in a handy position to the city, restaurants close by were great would be an ideal location to stay and go to watch the Townsville Cowboys play a match easy walking distance.

Pool a little dirty and could do with a scoop to clean out leaves and stuff.

- Megan (4/5): Disappointed - I would like to provide some feedback regarding our stay at Vine Kensington at Central.
We checked in last Friday and upon arrival we noted that the unit wasn’t cleaned properly. There was cigarette butts and dirt out on the balcony and the table hadn’t been wiped over.
On the Sat morning while making the bed I noticed that the doona was absolutely filthy. There were stains all over it. It was quite upsetting to see how dirty it was. I called reception to inform them and ask for a new doona. The lady I spoke to struggled to understand what I was asking. I said that I was happy to remake the bed myself, I just wanted a clean doona. I advised her that I would leave the dirty one on the lounge for collection. When we returned from shopping, I found the dirty one still on the lounge along with a mattress protector. I didn’t bother to call reception again as I was a struggle last time. I just left them both on the floor.
We also went to use the washing machine and it didn’t work. My husband spoke to a cleaner downstairs and she passed the message to someone. They were sending out the maintenance guy first thing on Tuesday. So far noone has fixed it.
There are a few other things around the unit that needs cleaning. For instance, the vent in the bathroom has a huge buildup of fluff on it. There is laundry powder all over the floor beside the washing machine, the carpets have stains everywhere.

Broken furniture, holes in walls, no hot water in ensuite, black mould covered the bathroom roof, curtains stained, outdoor furniture not even fit for the junk pile. Would give zero stars if I could. When I complained I was told by the office staff that working there was embarrassing because of all the complaints and the poor strandered of the rooms. Apparently management have no interest in addressing the many guest concerns
- Angelo (4/5): - The hot water system did not work. I had to have three luke warm and cold showers. I rang and got no response very disappointing. The dryer did not work.
- Kylie (6/5): - Customer service attendant upon check in was rude and made check in more difficult. Pool was murky and needed to be filled. Master bedroom shower was stuck on cold temperature. Location was great with great views, bedding was very comfortable. Master bedroom aircon was noisey, on the day of our departure the gate fob stopped working so we had to use the public parking and load the the car upon departure out the front. OVERALL WE HAD A NICE STAY JUST MUCH ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT STARTING WITH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE UPON ARRIVAL.
- Maddison (4/5): - I booked a standard room and got just that, the aircon obviously has seen better days as I spent my stay sweating. The aircon struggled to blow any cold air and made a loud rattle as the wall unit nearly shook itself off the wall. The bed was not made properly, with two sheets wrapped around a doona that was stained. I went to make a cup of coffee the next morning and found the mugs were still filthy from previous guests. DO NOT STAY HERE.

1st room we got was extremely grubby, floors all had major stains over them, smell was pretty bad, had to go and request another room.
2nd room was a bit better however still had stains on carpet and Mould throughout bathrooms. a lot of Dust throughout rooms and light did not work in one of the bedrooms.
Pros: Close to where we needed to be, cars locked away off street.

- Berinda (8/5): - Unfortunately, the A/C in the bedroom of the self-contained unit was incredibly loud and did not work very well, the fan was also extremely noisy at a high speed and didn't work at the two lower speeds. There was an unsightly huge brown stain on the carpet as you enter and the carpets look like they need to be redone. There was not much in the way of cooking utensils/crockery and no explanation on what to do with recyclables that can't go down the garbage shoot.

I even stuck my hand under it to see if it was the wrong way up but it was the same on the other side.

- Glen (6/5): - Check in off site is inconvenient. Clearly maintenance inside the apartment would seem a low priority as the lounge coffee table has a caster broken off, there’s staining in the carpet, the bedroom ceiling fan has a clicking noise and the remote control is barely visible (battery)
And saucepan lid knob is broken
- Vivian (6/5): - I got a 2 bedrooms apartment. The place looks a but run down. My front door knob is wiggly. Bathrooms have mold. Bedroom closet doors are mirrors so I chose to sleep on the couch instead. Good that there are badass food right downstairs, hotpot, thai, and tacos. A bit too pricey for the condition of room.
The lady receptionist is amazing. The man receptionist was on the phone and did not make eye contact with us and did not even show a sign to address us so we left our keys on the counter and left.

- Monica (6/5): - Unfortunately our unit had a lot of stains on the carpet and acked kitchen supplies (what was there was not very clean). The unit was just untidy/unclean and could do with some attention.
Although there was a foxtel box, there wasn't many channels to choose from, no netflix or the option to use netflix. There was so much disturbances from neighbouring businesses at ridiculous hours of the night/early morning. We had to contact a restaurant at one stage to tell them to avoid building an aluminium cabinet at 9.30 at night!
With all this being said, the staff at reception were amazing at check in and during our stay. The unit was in a convenient spot for us, the parking was great with it being in a gated parking bay and I felt safe in this unit block.
With a little TLC to the unit and a chat to neighbouring businesses about noise, it would be an amzing spot to stay.
- Lisa (2/5): - This place needs a massive over haul, so dirty stains on carpet, thick dust on fan in main bedroom plus vent in bathroom so thick dust wouldn't even work, couldn't watch tv someone has stole batteries out of both remotes i did mention to housekeeper when we were going out during day come home at night still no batteries she said she would go and replace them, phone in appartment doesn't work to order more milk, blood stain on doona that is between two sheets, that was my 3rd stay and my last the other two was lovely really need a revamp urgently.

The bathroom had mould and hair in the shower and the layout meant that you couldn’t have the laundry open and get to the shower at the same time. The kitchen equipment was dirty and the dishwasher smelt so bad I couldn’t stand opening it to use it. The staff at the front reception were rude and not helpful at all.

The worst being what I discovered while cooking a meal, which appeared to be vermin poop sitting in the light in the air ventilation over the cooking hob. (I had to re-wash all the plates and cutlery with boiling water as couldn’t be sure it was clean at this point.)
The fan in the bedroom only went on high or off which was noisy and made it too hard to sleep.
The remote for the bedroom air conditioning has flat batteries or the LCD display is faulty. In addition the air conditioning unit itself in the bedroom was too noisy to use. ( sounded like a noisy bearing)
There was a stale smoky smell in the whole unit which is particularly obvious when the room has been closed up. Note guests are allowed to smoke on the balcony.
There was no chopping board or spatula which are usually considered an essential and basic kitchen item.
I advised management of the above and got an acknowledgment 2 days later. No apology, explanation or offer of compensation.
The pool area was small but nice.
