- Karen (2/5): Never again - First was the roaches. Those small roaches coming out of everywhere. The shower was dirty and the shower curtain was really filthy. Rented two rooms and both had this smell. Thank goodness I always carry Lysol. The a/c unit needs cleaning it was caked with particles. It seemed to have many full time residents.

- Joseph (2/5): - I would have honestly felt safer sleeping in my car, in a Walmart parking lot. I took pictures. They gave me a room where the door was already physically broken into. Room filthy, bed unmade, blankets sitting piled up on the cabinets. The replacement room they gave me stunk to high heaven. I'm pretty sure it also had bedbugs. It was the cheapest place in town for a reason. Absolutely NEVER AGAIN. I will literally sleep on the street, before I voluntarily stay at another Motel 6. Should be Motel 1/6th.

The front desk check in lady was so sweet and amazing and helpful. The front desk & staff is the only good thing about this place. Please avoid. Itâs hotel from hell.

Transients have a camp adjacent to the back of the property and have cut a path through the fence. Junk cars provide shelter for others in the parking lot. Lots of stripped bikes decorate the exterior, which looks awful. My room had AC on its last legs, exposed bulbs and wires. Shower light was inoperable. Check in service was thankfully fast. Iâve never had to hold my breath against the stench in the reeking lobby

Dog poop everywhere on the limited area designated. I mean everywhere! Very unhealthy environment advertising pet friendly! The second room I was moved to, has a full size bed, not the queen requested. No telephone in the room.

- Cami (2/5): Worst hotel ever - I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Motel 6 in San Angelo, Texas. My visit was unplanned and made under extremely stressful circumstances as my dad was having emergency heart bypass surgery, and I needed to be at the hospital by 5:30 am. We arrived at the motel around 1:20 am, exhausted and just hoping for a quick rest before the long day ahead, but we were met with a horrifying experience. The moment we opened the door, we were overwhelmed by a disgusting odor that smelled like manure and cigarettes. It was unbearable. To make matters worse, when my husband went to use the restroom, he discovered there was no toilet seat. How is that even possible in a functioning hotel room? I called the front desk, desperate for a solution, but the response was underwhelming. The staff had us go down to get another key for the room next door, which had a similar strong odor. At least this room had a toilet seat, but we ended up sleeping in our clothes because we didnât feel comfortable enough to even relax. We checked out first thing in the morning, as we couldnât wait to leave. The property itself was in terrible shape. The trash outside was overflowing, and the area seemed completely neglected. The room was filthy with stains on the walls, broken fixtures, and even a yellow pill left behind by a previous guest, which could have easily been an illegal substance. I shudder to think what could have happened if a child had found it. I want a refund.

- Tacy (2/5): Bring your own Bedding! - Cockroaches, dirty sheets, no hot water, thin, worn, stained towels, no working tv, AC didnât cool, light bulbs missing, ceiling light burned out, WiFi wouldnât connect. Clerk was polite and patient the 3 times I called to ask about water and tv. I shouldâve taken her explanation of âthe hot and cold are backwardsâ as a warning, not instructions: absolutely NO hot water. Her explanation of âitâs encryptedâ should have been a clue, and then, to tell me I have to watch tv on my phone if the tv wouldnât screen cast. Wow. The cockroaches were small, but what they lacked in size, they made up for in number. By the third night our purchased cockroach bait had kicked in and it was better. The hair engrained sheets had been washed in too full a load and had not washed clean. So we went to Walmart, purchased bedding, two pillows, towels, cleaner, as the room was filthy, washcloths, and roach bait, came back and made it all more livable, phoned a friend and had showers at her hotel the next two nights. The clerk offered another room but it was the same level of filth and dirty outside as well as difficult to get to and too far from our vehicle, should we need to make a run for it. We didnât move as it was after midnight. The trade did have tv, lightbulbs, and hot water. You get what you pay for, but we did not. $60 was far too much! The âprivate ownerâ should be ashamed! A refund would be great! Please warn potential guests. The property was filthy. Oh, the mattress was good.

Freezer needs defrosting. I had to stomp on the roaches, i stomped on about 5 roaches, so I put a pizza box in the bathroom to distract them to keep them away from me. No hot water so I called the front desk and the lady said let it run for awhile cause the hot water takes awhile to get to the back building and some people run the sink faucet and that makes it quicker.

- Maricela (2/5): - I had reserved 2 rooms, they were not clean, toilet seat looked like it had not been cleaned, rooms smelled like cigarette smoke, in one room the pillows and sheets had hair, the other room one of the beds looked like someone took a nap on top of the bed and had used tissues on the side. Went to the front desk to ask if housekeeping had already cleaned the room & explained why. The attendant rolled eyes has she spoke with the housekeeping over the radio. Then when I asked about extra towels, she said there were no towels. But I was able to cancel my stay and get my money refunded without a problem.

But now the place is very uncomfortable to sleep to shower and the maintenance is never around when you need something repaired or if you need anything. So I had a room downstairs and it was ridiculous to be woken up at 2am by some dog chasing cats in the room. I was so tired and very upset. I wasnât told that there were pets upstairs. Then I couldnât take a shower in the mornings because there was no hot water. Totally uncalled for. I felt like I was being punished. - Kenneth R (6/5): - This motel is sandwiched between two auto dealerships in a busy part of the city near downtown. The motel is adequate but has no nearby amenities save for a Starbucks across a busy road. It is relatively inexpensive and adequately clean.
- Thomas (4/5): - Reserved 1st floor room for elderly guest with walking disability, but upon arrival they only had a 2nd floor room. There were four of us, and the room only had two pillows. Staff said they didn't have any more. Beds were very stiff. And although we didn't intend to use it, the pool was a filthy mess half covered with a tarp. Would never stay at this Motel 6 again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We stayed in a non-smoking room on the first floor. It smelled and looked clean when we got there. One of the other rooms above or by us was smoking and it came into the room so all of our clothes smelled like tobacco and pot. That is really the only complaint I have. The lady at the desk was nice and the room was clean. It was one of the quietest motels Iâve ever stayed in, they are pet friendly but never heard any of the other dogs there.

- Laura (6/5): - The location was good. The room needed some repairs- toilet seat broken, non functional fan, needed new curtains. It was adequate. I would look for a different hotel next time Iâm in San Angelo.

- Steve (2/5): - This was the most filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in tiles coming up in bathroom shower was filthy, room was a cracker box, holes in walls, roaches, noisy ac heater, beds lumpy, stayed 2 night but this hotel should refund me at least one day for the inconvenience. I will never stay there again. Health department should close this place down
