Guest Reviews
- Yannick (10/5): A place not to miss -
- Leah (10/5): Absolutely loved our stay. The food was great and so was the accommodation. . -
- Mel (9/5): Wonderful lodge. - Everything really. The cooked breakfast option didnt include poached eggs as staff were not confident in doing so. One staff member couldn't really cook scrambled, so felt the breakfast was below par for the price.
- Karen (8/5): Relaxed after being on the Gibb river road - The isolation and location, beautiful Although the glamour tents were nice, you can hear everything from your neighbours. Coughing, talking, flushing the toilets etc.
- Michelle (10/5): Excellent - Great friendly service
- Gary (10/5): - Great staff and food The way in
- Jehan (9/5): Superb -
- Cade (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (9/5): Superb -
- Bradley (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Worth the trip just do it - Staff polite and fantastic people Be able to take alcohol back to your private lodgings
- Cate (10/5): The very best - Food was excellent and staff amazing Nothing
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast was wonderful. We just loved our stay at the Mitchell Falls Wilderness Resort, it was a little bit of luxury in the outback. Would certainly recommend the resort. The dinner at night was also exceptional. loved it all
- Jo (10/5): At the end of a long day at Mitchell Falls, we were so grateful to come back to a beautiful meal and luxury accommodatio - The staff, led by Paula, were amazing. So professional and beyond helpful. Every guest’s need was catered for and we were all made to feel really special. The food was absolutely outstanding-how lucky are APT to have such an amazing chef! Thank you so much to all staff. Nothing
- Rodney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kellie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katherine (10/5): a night of luxury/pampering in the remote Mitchell Plateau. - spectacular location, comfortable tents, hot showers, yum food, swimming waterhole on site nothing!
- Jake (10/5): - This was an unbelievable hospitality facility situated in the middle of nowhere. The level of service & the experience was priceless.
- Doris (8/5): A beautiful wilderness, middle of nowhere.Loved the swimming, scenery, tent, pavilion, meals & staff. - Plenty of variety and nicely prepared. Tasty breakfast I would have liked an espresso coffee machine rather than instant coffee. The other travellers felt the same as we discussed our disappointment with them. I think the instant coffee choice only and no biscuit or snack offered during the day to accompany a hot drink was a let down, especially as the meals were fabulous and real coffee would have been a welcomed choice. Also the road to the lodge is easily missed with such a small sign on a rusty drum, and this road could be smoother, quite rough.
- Gaynor (8/5): It was wonderful to have some luxury after travelling the Gibb River Road. - Breakfast was great, with the staff cooking hot food at our request or the option of continental breakfast. The evening meals were restaurant quality. We were freezing at night, even though an extra blanket was provided. We would have preferred a queen bed instead of 2 singles.
- Lhoyd (10/5): We'll Get Them All Dancing - Everything!
Great Location And Facilities
Staff (Bunch Of Legends We'd come back just for them if theyre ALL still there next season)
The Food! (By Chef Christian) None. Zero.
- Richard (10/5): It exceeded our expectations - Committed friendly staff.
Good meals, excellent chef.
Flexible enough to pick us up from the Mitchell Plateau airstrip
Management of supplies at a remote location Our cabin was too close to the pavilion

- Snow (10/5): - As an independent traveler a wonderful experience. The setting is magic with the swimming pond a wonderful combination of natualness and refreshment . Facilities are world class for a wilderness lodge. The staff are outstanding in their engagement, friendliness and service. Food is great and quite sophisticated for the location . Certainly worth a visit
