- Kate (10/5): Excellent, just a little further out of the city than I had hoped. - The lighting, the carpet in the corridor, the original features, the size of the room. The lighting in the bathroom and lack of space for wash bag
- KATE (6/5): - Rooms big and comfortable I called ahead and was told to pay for the pool on arrival. When arrived told the pool was fully booked
VERR disappointed indeed as told the incorrect information.

- Matthew (1/5): -
- Julian (10/5): Great hotel & location. - Easy to find, lots of onsite parking (chargeable). Impressive building with lots of history and the room we had was enormous with a great view of the docks and the Tobacco warehouse. Large bathroom and all the facilities that you need. Only negative was that the room lighting was quite dim.
- Sonia (8/5): Fantastic hotel but ditch the ridiculously low level lighting. - Everything apart from the ridiculously subdued lighting. The lighting - way too subdued and not able to be adjusted. Clearly going for an edgy look from the Titanic era. More like haunted house effect. Very unsettling and had no idea if I looked ok as a got ready for an event. .
- Ann (10/5): - Staff were excellent

- Barbara (9/5): Great design, great food - Just love the big spacious rooms. Really comfortable beds, great bathroom, and incredible view over water. Ate in Stanley’s and meal was wonderful. I love this hotel and we’ve returned many times. My only grumble is that the bar area (which is beautiful) is so draughty because of the big doors being opened all the time. I always feels a bit chilly.
- martyn (9/5): -
- Juliette (10/5): Perfect! - The staff were wonderful, so helpful, warm and friendly, especially Vasilica and Daniel. We could not fault the hotel at all. Our room was massive, with a lovely view of the docks and the Mersey. It was very quiet at night, she we slept well. There was everything we needed in the room.
The breakfast was exceptional. The cooked food was hot, there was an omelette bar and also freshly made pancakes. Unlimited fruit juices and hot drinks. Cereals and pastries, toast and plenty of condiments and cereal toppers.
The lifts were fast and the corridors were wide.
The restaurant and bar were comfortable and the choice of drinks and food was good. We cannot fault the whole stay.

- John (10/5): Relaxing and enjoyable - Been staying at this hotel for a number of years and although it's not the cheapest hotel to stay in, my wife and I love the size of the rooms, the character of the building and the general atmosphere and quiet location I feel that being charged £12 a day to park, when I'm already paying way over £500 for 2 nights accomodation is is excessive, When I first started staying here the parking was free.

- Aimee (9/5): -
- Sadie (9/5): -
- Julie (8/5): Loved it quirky u will be back - Room was lovely The view wasn’t the best from the room
- Stephen (9/5): No sinking feeling here. - The sympathetic decor and surroundings are a subtle nod to the shipping history. The location is obviously great for football fans, but the hotel is just a very relaxing place to visit. Some might say the corridors are a little dark but the housekeeping and maintenance are kept in good order.

- Hannah (8/5): Great attentive staff, beautiful building and would definitely come back - The building and the architecture is beautiful. Nothing we didn’t like.
- Jonathan (7/5): - Big room, comfy bed, great breakfast atmospheric corridors, very clean, friendly staff. Isolated location, outdated TV's that won't let you cast from your device, thin walls left little to the imagination, small sofas.
- Seth (10/5): -
- Craig (8/5): Room was ok there was a smell tho when you was letting the water out the bath - Hotel was lovely room was ok Like the titanic theam
- Helen (10/5): - I attended a YPAS Diamond Gala Ball & stayed overnight. My stay from start to finish was excellent. The staff were marvellous & I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I booked the Maya Thermal Spa too, so relaxing & excellent value £20 for 2 hours & I also managed a nap too, I was so chilled.
- Amelia (10/5): -
- Emma (8/5): Good hotel but needs to work a bit better on upkeep - Really nice property, with a great spa. The gym is nice but they are obviously not looking after the equipment as it’s beginning to rust and when I trained in the morning there was pools of water from mopping the floor but a couple of hours later it was still there!
- Ruby-mae (10/5): We had a great time and booked an extra day, we would definitely stay again - It was lovely Nothing

- sharon (9/5): Fantastic hotel. Amazing rooms. Wonderful staff. - The hotel is beautiful. The staff are so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We booked a superior double with dockside view and it was absolutely beautiful. Huge rooms & bathroom. High standards of decor and cleanliness. Great soundproofing. Would stay over and over. I’d read mixed reviews regarding the restaurant but as a party of 4 we had a lovely meal. The food was very good and plenty of it. Again great service. Nothing was too much trouble. Our stay was wonderful and I don’t want to be overly critical as the hotel is fantastic. Just a couple of suggestions that would, in my view make it top class. If I had to pick some minor points, the bathroom fan is controlled by hotel to run from 7am to 10pm. You can hear the low hum and 7 am was a bit early. Downstairs the restaurant was lovely and warm but the bar was cold due to the doors open with people using the outside area. The smaller bar area looks like it has a fire but it wasn’t on. It would be great if that could be a cosier, warmer area, snug etc.
