• Gabriele (10/5): Lovely family friendly hotel - Great for families, beautiful calm beach just a stone’s throw from the terraces, good sized pool and walking distance to a few local seafood restaurants. Food at the hotel was also very tasty and good value. We had an issue with hot water but it got fixed as soon as we reported it.

Would’ve preferred if the costs were in rupees or at least had the service charges and taxes included in prices. We also found the lady who seemed to be the manager a little too forthcoming with wanting us to spend money and visibly showed disappointed when we went elsewhere for dinner.

The dining experience apart from at the pool bar was very average. We didn’t come full board or all inclusive . The choice of wine was limited ( stock) and more expensive that other 5star hotels in Sri Lanka

Food good in all areas. Everything perfect except the dining experience. Didn’t really fit with calibre of hotel and the idyllic setting. Plastic Coke and water bottles on most tables. For us personally musical entertainment throughout dinner seemed inappropriate for the location. Wine prices very high for Sri Lanka 5 star hotel.

Die Anlage ist top gepflegt und bestens organisiert. Die Lage am Strand ist fantastisch. Spa ist ebenfalls hervorragend. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Dass wir nach 3 Nächten wieder abreisen mussten. Will heißen eigentlich nichts. Man muss wissen dass sich zu allen Preisen noch Service und Tax addieren, aber das ist eigentlich überall in Sri Lanka so und kein Manko des Hotels. Für Party People ungeeignet, da es weit und breit kein Angebot gibt, aber unter anderem deshalb lieben wir das Hotel.

En plus de cela, mention spéciale pour le format buffet du restaurant principal (à un prix très correct) qui proposait matin et soir des mets d’une grande qualité a laquelle pour être honnêtes nous ne nous attendions pas - bravo à l’ensemble du personnel car le service était en plus impeccable et non moins sympathique ! Rapport qualité / prix un peu déséquilibré et décoration qui commence à dater un peu… mais tout en restant très propre et confortable

I had some issue after the buffet and got sick next day but staff handled it beautifully and brought doctor in. That being said we were still charged, which is fine but a small gesture would have been nice since I had a day of my holidays taken away and few days for me to recover and eat again normally.
• Sally (10/5): Fabulous beach - Without question, the best location in Pasikuda. The hotel itself is gorgeous, built & maintained to a very high standard. The greeting on arrival is very special. The room was very spacious & comfortable. The pool is great, long - c 25m & very clean. The beach area is spotless, comfortable loungers with parasols. You walk straight into the beautiful sea (not true of other hotels in the bay, where rocks etc would obscure your walking / swimming ability). The beach bar & food was great (salads wonderful). We did the dining experience in the sand (seafood, yum!) & the catamaran trip - both highly recommended. Photo below of the dining. The prices are reasonable - but be aware NET of 10% service charge & 18% VAT - in that order - so c 30% higher than the price you read! Service was, in the main, very good - however on regular occasions finger bowls, napkins etc missing / delayed.

Spectra views of the sea and the design of the resort is amazing. Beach is perfect and really clean with the softest sand. Rooms /chalets are serviced lightly in the evening as well. Munas, in the main restaurant, always welcomed us with a smile and was very attentive and caring. -Our card was double charged as they took full payment for a separate booking for several days that was cancelled within the free of charge period. The money has now been refunded but that can ruin someone' s holiday iif you are counting of that money. - the area is extremely remote, there is nothing to do outside the hotel so it would be nice to have some sort of entertainment in the hotel sometimes. - the food was great but the food choice a la carte was very limited, if you are not an all inclusive customer ( their manu varied daily). - mini bar prices are totally crazy ( a chocolate bar 10 dollars).
• Daniela (10/5): Beach, pool, food and staff was amazing - We loved everything about the Uga Bay. Great beach and pool. Our bungalow was just next to the beach and it was very quiet. Service was exceptional. Breakfast buffet was the best we had so far. They even had fresh crispy bread (only time in Sri Lanka we had that). We only booked B&B and had dinner every night at the bar. The food was great and we could have dinner whenever we were ready and did not have to wait until 7.30pm (with a kid that is always a great option). The prices were really reasonable. The staff was amazing and always very helpful. We could even get a late check out.
• Jennifer (9/5): Superb - Uga Bay is a gorgeous place. The beach is paradise, the staff are fantastic and the food is very good and pretty varied. Would definitely recommend! The only tiny criticism I have is that I'd assumed incorrectly that the spa had facilities like a steam room/sauna/relaxation space etc. In fact, the spa is just a couple of treatment rooms- though one of the best massages I've ever had so can't complain!!

Must try on this is a unique experience only this resort offers! The beach is amazing feels like a river the sand is steady and very very safe to swim around as you can literally walk far away without the water going deep.

• subhashi (10/5): Amazing stay! - We spent a few days this week at this hotel and had the lovelies time. We were there with our 2.5 month old son and the staff was just really amazing with helping us with everything we needed. The food was excellent and the room very specious and clean not to mention the beautiful setting. Having travelled to around 70 countries and having stayed in many hotels this definitely is at the top. 5 stars!

• Shandi (10/5): - Beautiful 5 star hotel by the beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. Food is well presented and of a high standard. There are daily activities but unfortunately due to the monsoon season currently we could not make use of them. We will return when the climate is better.

• DAVID (8/5): Great facilities - The service the room the facilities and the food is great. Check in is slow and late but check out is early sort of rushed staying there. But great facilities and service. Not much for infants and little ones to do but we will go back
• Adrian (8/5): - Beautiful beach Great location away from the crowds, Excellent food the staff are great and the Hotel itself is fantastic well laid out so every room can see the sea. This was our second stay we will be back next time we come to Sri Lanka.
• Patricia (8/5): Beautiful hotel and great food - Great and comfortable hotel room with a very comfortable bed. The hotel beach was incredible! The food was really good, especially the outstanding breakfast buffet. The service however need to be improved; Most of the staff didn't understand much English, and most often were we promised things where the staff pretended (?) to understand, but clearly didn't, which resulted in long delays, wrong orders, room service not showing up etc.
• Jasmine (10/5): Impeccable service - Perfect relaxation spot to round off 2017. The staff is friendly and pays great attention to details. Nicest resort on the beach.
