• Aude (10/5): Parfait - Excellent séjour. Appat hôtel très propre, au calme, bien situé dans Lyon, chambre spacieuse et confortable, bonne literie, grands placards, parking sécurisé. Nous y retournerons lors de notre prochain séjour à Lyon.
• Céline (6/5): Communication très moyenne - Forcément déçue à cause du WiFi inexistant tout le weekend et les messieurs de la réception ne nous ont pas bien renseigné sur le lieu du petit déjeuner et le code WiFi ainsi que le code pour quitter le parking (bien qu'aimables malgré tout), et comme le téléphone de chambre ne fonctionnait pas j'ai dû descendre 2 fois pour avoir mes réponses, et m'apercevoir devant la porte de parking, qu'il fallait un code...donc la communication pourrait et devrait être bien plus efficace !
• Miresta (8/5): 2 nuits à Lyon - La 1ère nuit était bien . La seconde nuit au retour était bien aussi sauf que les toilettes n'avaient pas été nettoyées et un peu cassées . Nous avons averti la réception .

• Verified traveler (6/5): Séjour gâché par une personne. - La jeune femme chargée du petit déjeuner nous a refusé le petit déjeuner que nous avions payé sous prétexte que nous étions venus le chercher après l heure (ce qui n’était pas vrai) et surtout en nous disant qu il n y avait plus rien, le comble pour quelque chose que nous avons réglé, donc qui a profité de deux petits déjeuner non donné. Pas d’internet comme prévu et aucune solution de proposer. Je pense que nous ne reviendrons pas chez vous malgré le reste qui était bien.

• damien (6/5): à améliorer d'urgence - plusieurs séjours dans cet établissement; le concierge n'est pas sur place tout le temps, et lorsqu'il n'est pas là nous devons récupérer notre clef dans un coffre (mdp envoyé par mail)... le hic, c'est que lorsqu'on a un problème, les numéros d'urgence ne répondent pas... plusieurs chambres n'ont pas de rideaux aux fenêtres, et la rue est très lumineuse... entre l'éclairage public et les enseignes lumineuses... impossible de dormir, ou alors en coinçant un drap dans la fenêtre, ce qui oblige à dormir fenêtre fermée... sachant qu'il n'y a pas de clim l’hotel est apparemment en cours de rénovation, mais ce serait bien de le préciser sur le site hotel.com si vous voulez dormir sans lumière : évitez les chambres 107 et 207... et il doit y en avoir d'autres j'avais précisé dans ma réservation que je voulais une chambre avec rideau occultant et surtout pas la 107, et ils m'ont donné la 207 qui a la même problématique...
• MARIE-CHRISTINE (6/5): Peut mieux faire - Accueil ok par contre contrairement à ce qui est annoncé pas de ménage durant le sejour. Travaux dans la rue chantier qui démarre à 6h30. Odeur fort désagréable dans la salle de bain. Lampe à disposition mais pas de prise pour les brancher.

I liked the breakfast is included . It is suitable for a bussiness trip. The town is quiet and isolated from the main street but that's what i liked. I got a good price in this website, but in offline it's more costly.

Bureau d'accueil que je n'ai pas trouvé aisément car partagé pour 2 résidences et celui-ci se trouvait dans la résidence voisine... Bon accueil. Appartement spacieux, complet, propre mais marqué par le temps. Bonne literie. Simple vitrage (construction d'un immeuble en face) et pas de clim. Points positifs : Parking souterrain et petit-déjeuner complet compris dans le prix qui reste très attractif pour Lyon. Une station de métro se trouve à 5 minutes à pieds.

Its well place for visiting Lyon or using as a stop over for long distance travellers whether going east/ west or north /south. The underground parking is very safe and well lit with lift access, making it easy to get luggage to the flatlet.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - Die Unterkunft ist vor einer Großbaustelle, auf der ab 6 laut gearbeitet wird. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage, nicht einmal Luftabzug im fensterlosen Badezimmer. Im heißen Sommer ist offenes Fenster wegen der Baustelle keine Option. Die Rezeption hat uns kaum über die Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage informiert und war überhaupt nicht hilfreich.
• Eric (4/5): - Nothing on Expedia was mentioned that this was a limited service hotel-no room service at all. The room was considered clean, but the furniture was old and worn. The shower leaked water onto the floor, requiring a clean up each time it was used. The room did not have A/C, but for a $50 deposit, the clerk allowed me to rent it, otherwise we would have baked for three days. Also, the location, although close to old town Lyon, was situated on a deserted street, with zero amenities. I certainly did not feel safe being alone with two kids on the 7th floor. When asked to switch rooms, the clerk declined. On a positive note, the breakfast was acceptable. I would not choose this hotel again.

I would not recommend staying here in the summer with the weather France has been having. It was difficult to sleep and there wasn't a fan in the room. Other than the terrible heat, the room was clean and comfortable. We were able to check in early thankfully and they offered to let us leave our bags if the room wasn't ready.

Ils ne ont pas proposés de ventilateur...le lendemain matin, n'ayant pas dormi et ayant vu une dame rapporter un ventilateur, nous en avons pris un...beaucoup mieux la 2e nuit, mais chaud quand même au 7e étage.

Ich hatte Sicht in den grünen Hof, der schön ist, Sicht auf ein Lokal, ein Olivenbaum, ich hatte nichts auszusetzen. Die Rezeption ist gut besetzt, höflich, freundlich, kompetent. Ich kann das Haus bestens empfehlen, es sind mehrere Hotels in einem Komplex, alles leicht erreichbar, Bus in der Nähe, zur UBahn nicht allzu weit.

On m'a certifié que c'était tout près alors que pas du tout, j(étais à l'opposé . Je ne connais pas du tout Lyon et on m'a berné sur la proximité. Dès mon arrivée à l'Hotel j'ai fait part de ma déception, on m'a tout simplement dit : "désolé pour la mauvaise info" plutôt léger comme réponse !!!! Déçue .....mécontente.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - It's what I expected for around EUR 70 a night in that great location, about a 10-15 minute walk from downtown. The hotel / apartment reception was initially hard to find; there weren't any signs that said "Apparteo Lyon" or anything like it. My TV didn't work, but I got in late and didn't feel like complaining at that point. On the other hand, the room was clean, the staff at the main desk was very helpful, my car fit in the garage (unlike many, many European garages) and the breakfast was good enough.

• Suman (10/5): good value for money and friendly place - it is very good property to stay inside the city and close to Gare de Perrache. Breakfast is good. Room size is good. staffs are friendly. Road-side room can be little noisy not because of vehicle etc. but because some of the hotel residents might be chatting outside the hotel. Rest everything is perfect and good value for money. Extra thanks to the reception staff and the restaurant staff.
• John (2/5): Student accommodation advertised as apartment - Apartment had minimal facilities. Not even a kettle was provided. Hotel was across the road from a building site which started work at 6 o'clock in the morning and produced colossal amounts of noise and dust. There was no air conditioning and it was so hot that a window had to be opened. This made sleep almost impossible. When we asked to be re-roomed we were initially told no alternative was available that night. We were then told that a room would be found for our third night at the hotel. Having packed all our bags and placed them in reception we were then told on our return at the end of the day that the hotel had overbooked and we spent another night in our original room.After a meeting with the hotel manager on the 4th day of our stay an alternative room was provided which was acceptable. Had we known beforehand the conditions we had to put up with for the first 3 nights we would not have booked to stay there.

• Ettiene (4/5): Never again - Not nice experience. Check in at a 4star hotel then you go next door to a "0"star hotel. Carpets in the hall way was very dirty. Got to the room and there was only a single bed not double as booked. Changed rooms, this room smelled of smoke even if its a non smoking room. Shower was leaking and was not cleaned after the previous guests checked out, wifi didnt work, over all worst stay of our trip.
• Helen (8/5): My first time experience at Apparteo Lyon 7 Jean J - Their staff are hepful with the foreign tourists: they provide you the guide map of Lyon and tell where the most important tourist attractions are located, they give advise about transportation options to get there. The only thing you have to do is to ask for the guide map as soon as you make the check-in. In addition, they can get the taxi for you without additional charges.
• alasdair (8/5): - Located close enough to the centre to walk, nice quiet and safe neighborhood. A few local restaurants around too.
• Verified traveler (10/5): best in lyon - i was satisfied with my request about that hotel asked me any comments. When I made a comment, next day the service became better. this hotel is absolutely recommended for all !!
• Stephen (8/5): Office closes at 7pm! - Office closes at 7pm, we arrived at 7:30pm to discover building locked. The website did not state this(at least we did not see it). We called the number on the door to get instruction on the access procedure . The person was rude in his explanation . We discovered afterwards an email was sent with the info about 1 hour earlier. Had we known they close early we would have been prepared.
• Linda (8/5): Comfortable room - Once we walked around the area, we found the river not too far away and buses and the metro were very easy to use!! The staff at breakfast were friendly and a good variety of food and fruit. Our room was quiet and a good size. It's not air conditioned but at this time of year, it didn't worry us!! The manager was excellent letting us stay the extra hour after check out time for catching our bus. We really appreciated this!! Thankyou!! We are an Australian couple not speaking any French, but the staff did their best to help us!!
• Paul (10/5): Comfortable Room, Great Breakfast, Good Location - If you want a more hotel experience, than this is not the place for you. But if you want the feel of actually living in Lyon, than this is the perfect place. I stayed 8 nights and I would say it was more than accommodating. I stayed in the studio apartment and it actually gave you the feel of living in the City. I was there on business and took the metro and bus to work every morning. I went to the Carrefour Marche at Part Dieu every other day to pickup my meal and beverages. They had a 6:30 breakfast that was fantastic. Jean Jaures and Mace metro lines were only about a mile walk and in the morning, it was a great way to start your day. Wifi was excellent, never had a problem. They provide towels and you just request new ones downstairs as they respect your privacy during your stay and don't clean your room or replace towels unless requested. If you want a great cultural experience and the feel of living in a French city, I would highly recommend this place and give it 5 stars. If you want all the comforts of a Hotel, than I would rate it 3.5 stars. I was looking for the former which is why I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.
• Helen (6/5): Good and bad but excellent breakfast and low cost - Good points first. Breakfast is great, lots of choice, unless very busy when you have to wait for items to be restocked. Fresh food, well presented & from 6.30 till 10.30. Good friendly multi lingual staff but no wifi code in room, took over 1 hr & 4 trips to reception to sort. Not so good, the floor covering in our apartment was peeling & was a trip hazard, the shower drained so slowly it overflowed into the main room. Upon investigation I found the drain was full of hair & had not been cleaned out. Once I had done this the shower was fine. The room needed a batter clean but the linen, towels and bed were great & comfy. 2 x shampoo sachet for 5 days plus 1 soap. There is no kettle/coffee maker so you have to boil water in the saucepan. The only "kitchen" equipment is 1 pan, 2 plates, a large glass salad bowl, 3 cups & 3 glasses, 1 butter knife, 2 fork, 2 large spoons & 2 small spoons. There is no sharp knife, cereal bowls, sieve, grater, garlic press or frying pan. It is not really a kitchen you can cook anything in which was a shame. The location is opposite a building site which started a 7am so was pretty noisy & the area is quite noisy at night so as there is no aircon you might have the window open in the heat, you might not sleep as well as you had planned. Even with directions from the hotel it took me over 30 minutes walking around the area until I found it as it is not right by the metro station & has a sign outside saying "Quality Suites" not Appartéo Lyon 7.
• Verified traveler (6/5): you may stay there, but only if you must - - the days were hot, and there was no air-conditioner in the room, so level of comfort was non-existent - there was no a single hanger in the closer, and even though the staff was generally friendly, the receptionist at that day was not accommodating at all - she gave one very flimsy hanger that couldn't even hold a single shirt and refused to talk about this any further - breakfast was bad
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location and staff. But the instruction of WiFi is not clear.
• KARL (8/5): Comfortable location with space - Nice appartment, nice view above Lyon. Thanks to Metro (5 Minutes walk) one can get everywhere in Lyon quickly. The price was good, inclusive great breakfast.
• David (10/5): Very good easy access to Lyon - Just what we needed clean, tidy and perfect service. Close to metro straight into the city. Would go back!
• gavin (6/5): the ark - the shower floods the bathroom floor and then flow into the main room. Mopped it up with the towels. when asked could I have some fresh towels the answer was no we don't have any
